Minerva Grand

Worst Maintenace its very bad experience don't book rooms multiple complaints like cleaning, water leakage in roof ceiling, 3rd floor very loud vibrations and sound , A/C not working properly no cooling fans noises complaints to hotel staff no action and irresponsible replay from GM especially useless general manager waste person in hotel industry

Hotel location is good on the main road. Room size is big for the double bed with extra bed. Breakfast was good and tasty. Staff was very helpful. Sufficient space for the car parking. We reached mid night around 3am and staff was there to help us checkin and take our luggage to the room. Value for Money.

I stayed in the imperial room of this hotel for two nights in January,2024.The room was spacious and decent. The bathroom too was spacious and very clean. All the necessary gadgets were provided in the room. The room service was found to be prompt. The break fast served mostly contained south indian food and a few north indian dishes with selected variety of fruits. The entire staff was polite in behaving with the customers and ensured their comfort. The hotel also provides taxi service but the rates appeared to be on higher side.Mr Pawan Kumar,Manager of the hotel, with whom I haa an occasion to meet, was found humble and capable to supervise the entire work.On the whole, the hotel indeed is a superior 3 star hotel in Tirupati.

Good hotel, adjoining Reliance super market, food quality and staff was good. It was my second stay in this hotel and as expected same was experience. Hotel was also near Govind Raja Swami temple and Maa Padhma Lakshmi Temple. One hour drive for Tirumala Venktesh Prabhu Temple.

Very Good Rooms. Good location. Very Good food. Also extremely high service orientation by the team. This is my 3rd stay at the hotel and have been always been impressed with service mindset. The rooms are spacious as well and well maintained

This is a chain of hotel from Hyderabad . Hotel is neat and clean. Food is good . Vegetarian. North indian dishes are also available. Difficult to find a table. But lobby and seating are there. Wash rooms are okay. Vallet Parking for visitors .

The in house restaurant is very convenient and provides great food.

I stayed at Minerva Grand Tirupati for over three times so far and thus far this was the worst experience. Both the rooms I booked were in the corner and with minimal amenities. The breakfast was a part of the deal per my booking but was informed that it wasn’t at the time of check in. We went to the restaurant and the order had to be placed three times for us to get the order about an hour later. Three different waiters took the order repeatedly. Check out was painful. We were delayed in traffic. I called and informed the front desk. They said they could not wait for another thirty minutes or give me a thirty minute extension. The service has deteriorated.

Good

Good room cleanliness but break-fast needs improve in quality

I was very much disappointed with the room condition, especially the bathroom. Difficult to flush the toilet. Very difficult to operate the main room door, every time I had to call for assistance.

Neat and Clean

Very bad experience , be careful about check out , we were on way to temple for darshan and forced to come back since it was hotels car and vacate the rooms at 10 pm. The check-out time was 11.00 pm.

This hotel is one of the most popular choices in the city due to its convenient location. My family had a great time at the restaurant, and I enjoyed the food very much. The restaurant was also very well maintained and clean as well. However, we found that it was very expensive compared to other hotels. The coffee house offered a vegetarian meal, which we enjoyed. The food was really tasty at the Blue Fox. We were able to find both Indian and Chinese dishes on the menu. Despite the old fixtures, the restrooms were in relatively decent condition

Room was clean, AC was working. helpful staff. overall good stay.

We went for breakfast. We chose ala carte instead of buffet. It was a wrong decision as the crowd for breakfast was heavy we were out of priority. It took long time even to order, but once they realised things became faster and we enjoyed the food.

Great South Indian buffet breakfast & the property is well maintained hygienic. As well friendly staff too 😊

Nice Neat and Clean. Food is very good Hospitality is good. Centrally located. Spacious parking for a vehicle tasty food with Andhra and south indian dishes. The staff are courteous They will guide us for our questions The family suite room is very much comfortable

Not clean

We stayed at the hotel after our Tirumala and Kalahasti temple visits.. and had booked 3 rooms which were very good.. At check in i was informed that Complimentary breakfast willbe served at 7 am.. the breakfast was definitely not complimentary, i paid around 329 Rs extra per room for the same. I had earlier reviews the restaurant for bad food, and i think the hotel needs to pull up its socks. But what marred our stay there was the loud noises on the 2nd floor middle of the night which disturbed our sleep. After tiring temple visits we expected peace and sleep that wasnot to be. Complained to the lobby manager and all he had to say was sorry and we should have called them..as if they could not hear the noises. Never again Minerva Grand!!

The tariff is pretty high if compared to 5 Star Hotels in places like Delhi. The location is decent and not far from the city center. The rooms are of decent size, so was the bathroom. The worst part of the stay is eating at the Restaurant, you will have to wait for a good hour to get your food. 30 minutes for someone to take your order and another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. In case you need an extra serving then you're done. We had the same experience for Lunch, Dinner and breakfast. The breakfast spread was very limited and if you wanted something from the live station, you have to wait for 30 minutes. The hotel is good, location average, service bad and tariff pretty high.

Hotel is located very close to railway station and bus stand over all hotel maintenance is excellent, restaurant service awesome.me and my friends are very happy.we had very delicious food.all the staff were excellent they are very polite and friendly.

Minerva it's a favourite for me. I'm regularly visiting the same Minerva in Vijayawada. The Same I have got in the tirupathi minervas also. I will definitely suggest this minervas to my friends and family. Thank you.

A bit crammed hotel in the heart of Tirupati starting from their lobby area. The hotel and its facilities are well maintained and very clean. The rooms are claustrophobic and all of them according to the management don't have clear windows. The room we stayed in had windows which were opaque but towards the common passage and the saving grace was it allowed for a bit of natural light during day time. Rooms are a bit crammed for the price and the AC was set at 22C which made it absolutely freezing in the night. We had used an extra bed which made it even more crammed. There are two restaurants - one veg and the other a multi-cuisine one which also serves drinks. The food though tasty, was very spicy in the multi-cuisine restaurant and we had to have the chef to temper the spices down. The Veg restaurant was very good and served good breakfast. The staff were very helpful and took care of all our needs. We had our darshan time for 12 noon in Tirumala but since we reached early enough and the check in time was 12 noon, the staff allowed us to keep our luggage (without us checking-in) till the time we came back later in the evening.

Too worst, too late service,For tiffins half an hour, for tea 25 minutes,to get the bill more than 10 minutes,no responsible manager to look after customers. For breakfast it took 1and 1/2 Hour. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are in a hurry to reach Tirumala once you reach Tirupati.

Nice hotel at center of the city . Comfortable stay . Friendly staff

Excellent place to stay in Tirupati. Good neat rooms, good quality food. Reasonable cost and very near to Tiruchanur temple and bus stand. Parking is a problem though somehow they arrange. Very VFM. Highly recommended.

Service at front desk was horrible lady keep Interrogating me , beds are hard like rock. However restaurant staff was great food was good in both the restaurants ate all meals here. But room quality, front desk staff is not worth the price and hype

The lobby front desk area, passive, slightly small but manageable, However staff, polite and prompt. The restaurant, good look, tasty food and hardworking staff.Rooms need immediate refurbishment, if done this will be the best hotel in the city, location excellent, near the bus stand, local markets and another plus point it is attached to the reliance mart.

Excellent and loved the ambience

This hotel is located close to main bus stand, railway station with ample parking space. Hotel is well maintained and seems to attract large number of tourists and pilgrims. Rooms are large with all amenities and are neat and clean. Rooms however have no windows. Service is fast and staff are friendly. Definitely a nice place for tourists and pilgrims particularly families to stay while at Tirupati.

Convenient check in and checkout process

A decent place, but for the rate charged, it is not of that standard. Check in was not smooth, because they could not connect with my original booking. I am thankful to Expedia for retrieving my original booking reference.

Decent business hotel in Tirupati with helpful staff

Cleanness is not good and toilet is bad smell No proper car packing Drinking Water 500 ml not sufficient per person and need good branded Water.

Check-in desk staffs are awful , they have ZERO experience in how to talk to guests , rooms were not cleaned (asked multiple times to clean room and change bed sheets). I felt insulted when the check-in staff inquired about a water bottle I hold on my hand (not even cost 25 cents) , as if I shoplifted a water bottle (SO AWFUL and extreme RUDE behavior).I never recommend to stay in this hotel. So far no apology from staff or hotel manager.

Very comfortable stay. Room very nice and tidy. Staff was extremely friendly right from our entry to exit. The concierge were helpful as I missed my check out time. They were considerate and extended my time. Absolutely loved the food. And the plus was parking. Would recommend this place to everyone visiting Tirupati.

The hotel rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is also very courteous and accommodative. The hotel accommodates a request for early check-in also. The breakfast is one of the best I have had which has a lot of variety, good taste, and a very reasonable tariff.

Breakfast was excellent. Overall pleasant experience

Centrally located hotel. Everyone knows about it by the name Grand Hotel. Staffs are extremely cordial. The entrance/ lobby could have been better with the looks even though it is spacious. The room windows are shaded gives feeling of non-existence of the window without possibility of sun rays at any point of time. It is possibly due to presence of a large shopping mall adjacent to the hotel.... hardly separated from the hotel building. However, in some occasions the mall could be of an advantage

Good . Value for money

Hotel is not clean and towel quality is bad. Nothing much to add

Like the hotel. Will gladly stay again. In fact, I will only stay at Minerva Grand. Liked the room service and the restaurant. There was an issue with the AC but the staff fixed it.

The bathroom had leaky water lines. Water from shower was flowing in the entire bathroom. Not a clean bathroom compared to the room because of poor upkeep. Good restaurant. Complementary Breakfast was good. Location is good.

Nice experience to stay here. Excellent stay.

Nice accommodations, attached restaurant and Friendly staff. Would like to recommend to my circle.

I paid for a room with a view along with a King Size bed. I got neither of them at checkin. I was given a 2 twin bed room which had no view. Quite disappointed after the extra $$ I paid for this hotel and room

I had a great stay. The staff members were top notch and provided great service. The room was nice and clean. All facilities were excellent. Bathrooms need some small fixes but great overall, will stay again.

The hotel did not offer breakfast even after thete was a confirmation for the same & I had paid for it in my booking & it was there in my booking itinerary. There was an argument for the same. The hotel does not have any thing great to be a 4 star. It's an ordinary hotel.

I have booked a room for 2 adults and 2 kids. The hotel management couldn't find us a room with 2 beds. And, they charged an exorbitant price for an extra bed. Quoted a nominal price when ordering the extra bed but, charged a higher rate.

Beds in room could have been better.

Stayed at this hotel for the location while on a business trip. The hotel is fine, nothing special but certainly nothing wrong either.

The local hotels in Tirupathi offer 24 hrs. When you book through Expedia you end up paying for 1.5 days if you need to stay a day to do darshan. The hotel offers the same room with breakfast if you call directly.

I had booked thru hotels.com for a free breakfast and hotel said it was not . Room was so dirty and so many mosquitos both my kids had mosquito bites all over even on their eyes ! My son's eye was swollen for about three days from the bite . Never again this hotel . The bathroom was dirty and musty odor was coming from it . Its best to skip this hotel . The restaurant was equally bad as well .

great great great great great great great great great great great great

It was easy, nice tasty complimentary breakfast

Hotel is excellent and commuting to surroundings is vee easy.

overall its ok to stay in this hotel, the food was simply good.

An excellent hotel for business or leisure trip. Rooms are spacious and clean, restaurant is good. Located next to bus stand and railway station makes it easy to access. I wish if rooms had a better outside view as they do not have any window which opens outside.

Nice and clean hotel. Does not rank as 5 star hotel but good and clean rooms and also the rest of the amenities are good. Restaurants are nice. Careful with the staff. Needed to take a ride to visit a temple and one of the staff tried to pocket some additional amount to the quoted one on the cards. When pushed, he reverted back to the card rate. Service was very good no doubt.

The hotel deserves a five star rating but I am only giving a three because of the rude front office staff. Positives: Its a nice clean hotel with large rooms. Good restaurants serving the best food in the hotel. 24 hour housekeeping and front office. Instead of 12 -12 check out . They let you do a 24 hours checkout. I got an extra bed for the toddler when asked for. They charge for it Negatives: They have a very rude thin fair front office staff. Some person I don't want to deal with after a tiring journey. She acts as if she doesn't want to work there and replies to any questions with rudeness. I will probably never visit this hotel because of the rude staff. The room I got had a fake window. It's true a "fake window". There was water leaking in the bathroom.

Very unhappy for the service at the Hotel. No Reliable Internet connection and affect my business communication.. Food is not great. Toilet Tissues are not provided everyday. Room is very dark and no windows. Very depressing.

Stay at the hotel is good. Receptive personnel. But the hotel can give 2 to 3 hours extra check out timings as most of the trains and flights are in the evening. The staff is too strict not giving much time.

Nice hotel, good breakfast, would like to stay in future also, near to Rail and bus stations and not far from airport.

Had a good stay at the hotel. But it can do with some improvements in the bathroom, which is clean but can give a better feel with just some minor upgrade. The staff is fantastic and very helpful

Had good vegetarian food, rooms need to be upgraded, wifi connection need to be improved. Location is good for thirupathi's traveller.

We just stayed a night here, enroute to tirupathi. The hotel is okay for one night stay. Nothing great. adequately clean. I didnt like their linen / bedding sheets. They need to consider changing them to brand new, they looked old.

This is my second visit to this place. Its maintained well. Its an excellent place.
