Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Personnel très sympathique, à notre arrivée nous avons eu droit à des explications sur la région et sur l'environnement de l'hôtel, plages, restaurants et balades. Très bien placé en bord de lac, les chambres sont grandes propres et calmes, un bon restaurant se trouve à 5min à pied en bas de la rue.
Rien à redire, si ce n'est peut-être n'y avoir passé qu'une nuit...

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026L’emplacement face au Lac est idéal. Nous sommes sur la vélo route et à côté de la traverse l’Epinoche vers la Sepaq. La chambre est propre, grande. Nous n’avons fait que le déjeuner sur place. L’équipement aurait été un peu spartiate pour faire un souper ( mais ce n’était pas notre plan). Le personnel sur place était hypergentil et nous a donné bcp de conseils touristiques judicieux sur leur région qu’ils adorent de toute évidence, avec raison. On aurait pu les contacter si on avait besoin de quoi que ce soit d’autres dans la chambre. La terrasse du bâtiment principal a une magnifique vue sur le lac. Un enclos à vélos est disponible sur demande.

There were not enough plugs in the room , we had to move things around in turn to use the plugs including the coffee machine. The air conditioner blocked one side of the bed because the room was small.

Il faisait très chaud et il n'y a pas d'air climatisé, et à peu près aucune fenêtre qu'il est possible d'ouvrir.

Son établissement est très bien situé, près du centre-ville, de la petite plage, du quai municipal et des principaux services. La chambre avec cuisinette offre tout ce dont on a besoin pour préparer et consommer nos repas. Sinon il y a une belle offre de restaurant à proximité. Le lit queen est confortable. Tout est propre et bien insonorisé et en plus, mon petit chien est bienvenu.

Bien situé pour les cyclistes qui veulent utiliser la traverse nautique pour profiter des pistes cyclabes du parc provincial.

Le lit était un peu dur à notre goût. Le vrai point faible était l'air climitisé diabolique. Il faisait tellement de bruit que j'ai préféré m'en passer. Ma note serait de 9 autrement.

Reviewed Apr 6, 2026I liked how clean, neat and organized the room was. The check-in was smooth as well as the check-out. But what I liked the most was how quiet the place is, the location is absolutely amazing in front of the lake.
The only thing I didn't like was the shower as I had a hard time to set it up. Not sure if it was only me at the room 23.

The bed was as hard a rock. The motel has a tiny "sister" down the hill for people with pets the man on the phone just said there is a separate section for the pet owners. I thought it would be that main motel with the beautiful view. Its not. The lights were off the charts. Motel sign lite up like Christmas on this small building DOWN THE HILL. Neighbors all have outside pot lights on all night and spot lights on tall posts behind also. No proper blackout blinds on back half of room. I may as well have been in Toronto. Bed was so hard. No sinking into that rock. No hair dryer and the shower head was some thin tube that mists water so I didn't either bother with that to even attempt to wash hair.. i come east 2 x a year and decided to try this place. Perhaps the upper main motel is different.....but if you have a dog, you're going downhill...literally.

Reviewed Nov 2, 2025Located with a great view of the lake. Would be great if you are staying longer as the kitchenette is well stocked with countertop stove. Very clean. Had had a very tasteful facelift since the last time I was there. Love the Keurig machine! Mattress was firm which I like. Pillows are okay. I like more structure to my pillows.
There needs to be one more electrical outlet installed in the kitchen. I personally would like an additional lock internally for the main door.

Attention Motel Royal dispose d'un second établissement en contrebas avec vue sur un parking et donc pas de terrasse sur le lac, d'où notre déception. Eclairage public allumé toute la nuit et éclaire la chambre. Pas de petit-déjeuner et restaurants à proximité étaient fermés.

L'insonorisation est ordinaire, on entend les occupants des chambres voisines, le mobilier est un peu défraîchis, le ventilateur de la salle de bain est très bruyant et il y a beaucoup de poussière dans la grille, l'eau du robinet a très mauvais goût et sent mauvais.
