San Alfonso Del Mar Apartment

Limpio y comodo cumplió con mis expectativas.

The gym, heated pool and Jacuzzis were not included. The view is great. There were insufficient supplies, including garbage bags, toilet paper, and towel towels.

Great location, well equipped, clean, safe.

The only redeeming feature of this place was the beach and pool area. The small swimming pools and kids' pools were well-maintained, clean, and pleasantly warm, making them enjoyable for everyone. The beach itself was nearly empty, which we loved—it was clean, accessible, and felt like a hidden gem. We also appreciated the small sandy areas near the pools, which had plenty of lounge chairs and beach umbrellas, offering a comfortable and relaxing spot to unwind. It’s a shame the rest of the accommodations didn’t match the quality of these outdoor spaces.

We stayed at this apartment for two nights, and honestly, that was two nights too many. The whole apartment was FILTHY! The carpets, which might have once been beige, are now a disgusting brown, covered in stains and dirt. The curtains were shocking—black mold everywhere! It was honestly hard to breathe in the place. The kitchen was an absolute nightmare. It was full of crumbs left from previous guests, and to make matters worse, the counter still had food on it—it clearly hadn’t been cleaned at all. The towels and sheets were equally appalling, full of white fuzz that stuck to all of our clothes. It felt like everything in the apartment was grimy and neglected. The couch had slipcovers on it, but even they were stained and dirty. Sitting on it felt like a risk to our health. We were so thankful that we had only booked the minimum stay of two nights. I cannot stress this enough: we will NEVER go back. It was an awful experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Stay far, far away from this place!

The location is great and the pool and beach area were lovely.

The property was very tired and dated inside and smelled of mildew -possibly due to the old carpet and rugs. The features of the property were not as advertised or what we were led to believe from the advert wording: No free wifi in the property itself, although this is shown/highlighted as a key feature (free wifi in another area of the building) No streaming services such as Netflix No free toiletries, unless you count a used bar of soap :( Tried to pay to use the gym and spa but told restricted to property owners only No minibar, unless you count a wooden unit with dead plants inside :( No washer/drier in the actual apartment - there is a laundrette in the building No city view, not detached, no private entrance, no adjoining bedrooms, no satellite TV, no trouser press Also, the property were very keen to get all the payment, paid in cash to a bank account, prior to our stay, which makes me question if other people have thought it is not worth the price being charged either? I am also not convinced that many of the reviews for this property are legitimate either but am unable to say that with certainty I would definitely return to San Alfonso del Mar but not to this particular property.

O lugar é lindo! O apartamento é muito bem decorado e equipado. Tem até um caiaque que pode ser usado, jogos, livros, bola entre outros. Cozinha completíssimo. Tem um supermercado na porta.

La llegada fue mala, ya que la propietaria no había dado aviso que habíamos arrendado el depto, esto causó casi 40 minutos de espera en el portón de acceso, tratando de comunicarse con ella. Finalmente, no la contactaron y nos permitieron entrar, validando mi correo de confirmación. Eso se pudo haber hecho antes y no dejarnos esperar el tiempo indicado, además que andábamos con dos niños pequeños. A consecuencia de esto, la propietaria se comunicó con nosotros horas más tarde, pidiendo las disculpas necesarias y nos dió la opción de quedarnos un día más, claro que pasaba a ser lunes, día laboral, entenderán que no la tomamos. Fuera de este tan mal rato, el lugar y departamento espectacular.
