Resort was perfect Very relaxing

The room has no chairs to sit in, in your room. None. You either sit on the bed or the floor. The floor was never really clean, always sandy. The food selections are very limited, and being allergic to mushrooms turned into a big thing. The folks who work there are so friendly and kind. They are the amazing feature of this place.

Not clean , food is unsafe to eat , fly in the food no ac that work in the room smell really bad humidity in the room and not clean

There was water shut-down due to pipe burst. The electrify failed (went off) 3 times. Management did not wanted to refund or modify my booking.

I loved it, very clean, the staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. Definently coming back.

The property was really nice clean and staff was great. There was hardly anyone who spoke English. I guess I need to really learn Spanish..

The property could be very special but, looks like the owners have not done any renovations for years. No access to the beach because of erosion. The rooms lacked decor. The buffet was undesirable. Cold food and lack of choices. The staff was wonderful though. Very friendly.

El hotel hace muchos años debió de ser muy bonito, ahora está muy descuidado oxidado, no funciona la puerta de la terraza se nos apagó el aire acondicionado en la madrugada y no pudimos dormir por el calor, la comida mala , en general amarga experiencia

It was ok. Nice ocean views that what I book with you…. but needs a lot of attention like cleaning maintenance and the enter to the property is to bad a lot of holes to get in to the property. At least make a drive way. Food was ok. But coffee on a foam cup?? Really?? Drinks really bad.

Very nice

Overall I rate this property low due to the lack of cleanliness, attention from staff, and accountability. We stayed longer due to family and activities we wanted to do in the area but even before arrival to the property the front desk never picked up thier phone. We even arrived and called the front desk and noticed that the receptionist was ignoring incoming calls. Also, beware of the lack of cleanliness within the rooms. After being checked in we proceeded to our room to find a large spider with web all over the room. I did address this with the front but I was met with push back instead of moving me to a clean room. After back and forth I was able to move to a different room. Within this room I found a bed bug and cockroach, mind you it was my finally day so no further room change was made. Also, when speaking to the front desk very little was done to take accountability and provide excellent customer service without having to push for the hotel to address my needs. I believe this hotel is not a good option and you should spend your money elsewhere, where you matter to the hotel.

The hotel property is not well kept. The room was not clean. The ceiling tiles off the balcony were damage and was falling.

Great staff and food, room with a hammock, beautiful shower and warm water, nice pool, great music and not too loud, just enough fun.

Perfect for spending a weekend with your family

The staff were great. The grounds are really impressive. Loved hearing the waves crash against the retaining wall. Some of the food was very good, some was just so so. They need better steam tables to keep the food warm. Also, this isn't their fault, but the road that leads to Reef Yucatan and other nearby resorts is ridiculous. It's like an obstacle course of potholes.

Es un hotel pequeño, habíamos pocos huéspedes por lo que los alimentos eran limitados, pero siempre había un chef en el restaurante que preparaba lo que quisieras al instante. Las bebidas eran con licores de marcas no muy conocidas, y había poca variedad. El staff y el servicio fue muy bueno, con excelente actitud y disposición de ayudar.

I appreciate the friendliness of the staff, I like that it isn't too loud except for a couple occasions like christmas dinner. I find it is a good value to be right beside the ocean and having all meals covered plus snacks and several drink options. Yes it is a bit of a drive away from Merida but that puts it close to wild flamingos.

Nice place. Secluded. Unpaved road entrance makes it quite a bumpy ride to enter. Saturday was understaffed. Too many events and not enough staff for good care. But, yet, still nice.

Needs maintenance , also it doesn't have a pace to put our luggage or a table food wasn't good.

This is not a 5-star hotel. The staff is nice and they try hard to provide a good experience but the property is run down and in need of desperate repairs. the location is not convenient, unless you have your own vehicle but the roads are in bad shape.

The resort has an awesome beachfront with nice shaded seating areas at the beach to enjoy the view and take a swim in the gulf. The staff is great and will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. There are two large pools with plenty of space and seating to relax. The food and drinks were good as well. Highly recommend.

Pool was dirty . Started a lot of upgrades but needed allot more . Hard to communicate for English

The property was very clean. Not many staff members spoke english. Food services were wierd hours and nobody at the desk when i had a early departure plus absolutely no lighting on the stairs or anywhere making it unsafe leaving at early hours. Staff was very friendly and the food was good.

When we left the motel to go to the airport no lightning on stairway pitch black . And walkway. Could of used some employees that spoke English

Great resort, the room was recently renovated. Restaurant was varied and really good, drinks also very nice, staff was friendly, the pool was beautiful and clean, the beach was small but enjoyable, the show was also fun. Only downside was the lack of wifi in the room

The property was overall dirty, the area where people eat had not been clean in awhile. This property allows Carnival Cruise ships to bring up to 200 guest twice a week and each time they would arrive they would take control of all the beach chairs and throw food and drinks all over the property (the staff would wait till almost 6pm to clean up the area). There were also dogs in both the pool area and eating area. Finally, when I booked this trip it was Reserve Now, Pay later, to secure their money they charge your card up front. When I tried to leave they gave me a piece of paper indicating they would credit my account but never did, so I had to dispute this with my credit card company. Picture look fantastic but the overall view is terrible.

The staff were just brilliant, so friendly and accommodating. Special shout out to Alex, Reyes, Luis, Benni, Josjue and Gerardo (sorry if any names are spelt wrong!). Hotel was really great, not Riviera Maya little-US vibes - felt a lot more authentic

DO NOT STAY HERE! this is a 1 star resort at max. All inclusive? The food was what I imagine prison food is like. Beers were flat, alcohol is below bottom shelf quality. There is no internet in the rooms, barely any internet in public areas. I have stayed in multiple all inclusive, from bad to 5 star, this is the worst by far. At the cost you are paying this is not worth it

Staff was wonderful. The hotel itself needs some attention.

We got the worst room ever had. The ac was only one option no warm water. No chairs in the room. TV channels was no working just for while. We need to ask for towels every day. This hotel needs remodeling as urgently. The bridge is falling in parts and no beach the all. The food was ok. But is pretty much the same every day. It to sad that there was a the only resort Hotel in the area. Hope really improves in all the aéreas. On price wise are highly expensive for the services and the conditions of the hotel.

We loved the friendliness of the staff. It is a beautiful venue. The rooms are sparsely decorated but serviceable. We had water front view was amazing. There were no dressers to put your clothes away and a few hangers. We lived out of our suitcases. I wished there was a shelve in the closet and in the bathroom to put stuff.

Never make it was raining cancel my trip they don’t want to refund my money

When you get there and you get Cintya at the reception you will be all good. She is very helpful and will go out of her way to help you. Mornings if you meet Victor at the egg station, he will make you smile and he’s very kind and courteous to you. David, Antonio and few other serves are always willing to get you drinks or help out in any way. Some of them know your entire family order so once you head to them they have it ready for you. Get place to spend time with family. The ocean is very calm but nice and clean. We spend 9 nights there and would definitely go back.

Staff was great! Food was good. Pool was clean and nice. Not very much beach. But, lots of natural sea shells.

When Arriving the room was dirty and the towels were dirty and stained, they moved us to another room where the bathroom towel had smeared lipstick. The rooms and property are run down, broken light fixture in bathroom with wires hanging. The Staff was fantastic! You cant get food or water after 11 PM till 8 AM

They only had one restaurant for the hole Property and it was buffet at that also didn't get any towels my entire stay.

For the price the hotel was decent. We did stay in one of the new rooms which had a beautiful view and comfortable beds. Deluxe included a mini fridge, blow dryer and iron. Food was buffet style, there was a good variety of different items at every meal and all was very flavorful with a nice selection of vegetarian items. The beach was pretty windy during our stay however the way the buildings were situated allowed for some wind free pool time with a view of the ocean. Staff was all friendly and attentive. Relaxing stay overall!

A very nice quiet resort. The food was very good. Good variety. A little isolated but overall a very nice relaxing stay

The Reef employees went above and beyond to ensure our experience was unique! The waiter’s captain Mikey was awesome and making sure we were well attended. Same thing with the animation team inviting us to their nightly shows and daily activities We truly enjoy our time at this property and for sure will return again!

My wife and I stayed a week and had a wonderful time,the staff was great,room was clean ,ac was very cold , hotel grinds very beautiful ,we will definitely come back

What a great holiday with the family. What made the trip awesome was the staff. David the service/food manager was the best. Ha anticipated what we wanted before we could even ask. Ricardo was in charge of beverages and he remembered our order right away and sought us out at the pool to have beverages ready for us before we asked! the entertainment staff was also incredible, the evening performances were a highlight for us and our daughter. Yes, the hotel rooms could use an update... but who cares when you are out enjoying the pool, food and entertainment. We couldn't believe how quiet the hotel was it is a bit of a hidden gem. we will be back!

Property is very old and outdated, needs cleaning, bathroom was dirty and food wasn’t great it all. To far from everything

Excellent property, people there very friendly and willing to help out. Despite the fact that pandemic went down, they kept it in shape an ready for tourists to enjoy. Very neat, tasty meals, beach clean, crystal clear pool and sea water. Definately will come back.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and there are many activities in the hotel. The only downside is that most other businesses, stores, etc. are very far away. But everything that you need is in the hotel.

the staff was the best very kind and helpful and always ready to help except for the staff at the reception desk very disrespectful and wound not help at all when we asked where we could get a covid test near by we paid for a seven day stay and had to leave 2 days before so we could find a place to take our test

Friendly staff- nice beach- hotel has potential but it needs more production- ALL inclusive option but the drinks are very poor served- just a few options really. Food was good- variety enough. Room was ok- no iron- no hairdryer - small thinks like these that could improve the property- It was clean- linens (bath towel - one per person) not even a hand towel-

Rooms can have better quality, the bathroom was very moist even with air flowing through it after a shower. Beds were pretty comfy just didnt like the blanket as it was itchy. Pool could have been better as it only could fit one group. They also need more better quality towels.

The hotel is in a good location but it could improve the rooms. The food also should offer more local gastronomy. For dinner it was more like a Chinese buffet. The fan in the bathroom was awfully loud and so the air conditioner.

This MOTEL need to be upgraded with providing a better menu and not give the same food EVERYDAY. It also needs to be remodeled.

Water front

The entertaining staff were excellent, kind and friendly. the hotel is not very clean, the pool is very dirty.

When I checked in, i asked for a quiet room. No other request than a peaceful/no noise room. I thought this request would be easy to satisfy as i chose this 5 stars seafront hotel far away from the city noise. I was looking forward to melody of the ocean waves. I got room 1412. There was a rumbling engine noise in the room. I called them and they explained it is a water mechanical pump. They offered to change me to 1512. Which is a different building but same room location (ie 3rd floor). The noise was still present as i guess the pump is located in the same place on the 3rd floor of every building. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat, there is certainly some deception to expect.

Fantastic staff, decent food, mediocre rooms. AC was weak, wifi didn't work in the room.

The staff was exceptional! Everyone was friendly and welcoming! The only negative was a condition of nature, and not a result of service or amenities. The beach was littered and very narrow due to a recent storm. It made use of the beach very difficult during our stay.

Property is out of the way, so it was peaceful. Didn't lack for anything, though. Could have stayed longer.
