Located near Tugu so it is quite near the city center. However, because we were staying during the Independence Holiday long weekend, it was pretty crowded and kind of noisy.

Nothing in particular, everything was great.

Really enjoyed my stay at THE 1O1 Yogyakarta Tugu. The room was comfortable and clean, and I loved spending time on the balcony with its beautiful view. The breakfast and other meals were delicious with plenty of options. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!

The only thing I liked about this hotel was its location. That's it.

Smelly hotel corridors. The hallways smell like a gutter when walking to your room or the elevator. To make matters worse, some of the breakfast food is served right next to the pool, so don't be surprised if it gets a little extra "seasoning" from pool water splashing directly onto the food. The fridge in my room didn't actually work. When I asked the staff to fix it, they simply told me it was broken. Thanks Sherlock, I already knew that. That's why I was asking you to fix it. They never resolved the issue during my stay. The balcony wasn't very clean either. There was someone else's dirty cigarette left on the floor, and who knows how long it had been sitting there. Limited parking. I'm not a fan of valet parking (even if it's free), but it's your only option if there are no parking spots left. Sure, I don't drive a Bugatti, but I prefer to park my own car and not hand over access to someone else. Also, if you end up parking right outside, be prepared for plenty of bird droppings on your car.

We stayed for 3 nights at The 1O1 Yogyakarta Tugu and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel has an excellent location, right in front of the iconic Tugu Yogyakarta and close to many attractions, restaurants, and local spots. It was very convenient for exploring the city and enjoying the Jogja atmosphere. What we loved most was the homey feeling of the hotel. The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The room was comfortable, and the food was delicious, which made the overall experience even better. Overall, it was a memorable 3-night stay in one of the best locations in Yogyakarta. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality.

My wife and I just sent two nights at the 101 Tugu. Nice room, good AC, helpful and pleasant staff. We were here during Ramadan, so there was a grand end of fast buffet. Very nice. Pool is big, clean and cool. Some small details were not perfect, but not in a a way that was bothersome at all. Highly recommend.

I received a vegan packed lunch both mornings & they were exceptional.

Traveling all the way from Bogor to Jogja with the family, choosing @the101yogyakarta was the best decision ever! 💯 ​Rumor has it that 101 Hotels have the best buffet spread, and as someone from Bogor who knows the standard there, I can confirm that 101 Tugu Jogja lives up to the reputation! The breakfast was varied and absolutely delicious. 🥐🍳 ​The highlight of our stay was the complimentary upgrade to a room with a terrace facing the pool. The kids were over the moon! Complete facilities, spotless cleanliness, and the staff were incredibly responsive and friendly. We will definitely come back!

The 1O1 Yogyakarta Tugu is a great choice if you’re looking for a hotel that’s close to everything — just steps away from Tugu Jogja and within walking distance to Malioboro, the station, and other city highlights. The service is excellent; staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. On top of that, the room rates are very reasonable for the comfort and facilities you get. A perfect blend of location, service, and value for money.

The noise from the next door. We prefer to stay at the regular room to the connecting room. The landline wake up call that we did not expect to receive at early morning.

101 Hotel Mangkubumi Yogyakarta offers a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I truly felt at home during my time there. The staff were very friendly and quick to assist, which made the experience even more pleasant. The food served was fresh and delicious. I also appreciated that the room was equipped with a central air conditioning system instead of a split unit, providing consistent comfort. One of my favorite features was the balcony attached to the room. During the day, I could sit and enjoy the warmth of the sunlight, and in the evening, it became a perfect spot to relax and unwind.

Room including bathroom is clean. Water pressure is good during shower. It's about time to replace in room towel. Though located at a busy junction you can't hardly hear any outside noise from the room. Tong to hold bread during breakfst will be appreciated.

The room view is great if you take the city view, and the location is amazing. Everything is in walking distance. Guest service is also outstanding, i can feel every staff are welcoming us. I will definitely stay here on another trip in Jogja.

Service excellence by Ms Ayu as Official PA 101 tugu. The best ever hotel in central city of yogyakarta. Near tugu, tugu station, a lot of traditional angkringan cullinary, near malioboro, keraton, museum sonobudoyo. Enjoy morning and night walk. Fast wifi, big TV (76") and the best access pool room. Hopefully can stay again next time.

The 101 Hotel has a new restaurant called LOTENG. I had breakfast there and the service is wonderful. Location of course very strategic because it is near Tugu Jogja.

To much decoration at the Lobby, I think they need to get some advice. Breakfast to boring, is not worthy to pay extra for 9 years old kids.
