Been here several times. Very family friendly. Nice beach, wonderful activities for a child as well. The buffets are nice.

The only two problems we had was the internet and the door key other then that everything was perfect, i would visit this resort again ❤️

Rixos Alalamein is an amazing jewel on the mediterran sea. It is very secluded. Spent two nights off season so certain amenities were not open like the seasonal restaurants other then the main buffet style restaurant called Mediterranean. The private beach within a cover was gorgeous with crystal clear water better than the Maldives. The open sea beach was closed because it was off season although honestly the water was calm and swimmable so no reason to have it closed. The best thing about this resort is the staff! At service and you feel welcomed by everyone. The mediterran buffet style restaurant was the only one open and offered three meals a day plus snacks. Breakfast was by far the best. Lunch and dinner were Okay but not super fancy. Drinks and juices served anywhere on the property. Night entertainment was limited agin because of being off season but there was nightly performers and DJ. Main pool was large, super clean and very relaxing. Rooms were clean, tidy and had everything you need. Only comment would be that some of the walls and paint seems outdated and in need of resurfacing and painting rather than patch up. Overall a great experience, if you like crystal clear water and a place to seen out for a few days this is a highly recommend place. It about 3.5 hrs from Cairo.

The food was amazing the service and staff are very nice and helpful the rooms are generally good the gym is one of the best I have ever been to in any hotel very very well equipped now the beach is unbelievable with great water color and clean white sand overall the stay was great I will definitely be back

Beach and the water are excellent

Our concierge team were magnificent as they tended on all our needs from restaurants reservations to external excursions and checked on us regularly, even provided us special cooked options we were craving. They made us feel very welcomed. A terrific job.

We had a great time at Rixos. The staff were very helpful especially Eman, Sohayla, and the managers. The food options were great and it was easy to relax. The Turkish Hammam at the spa was also amazing I recommend it highly.

Excellent beach: sea water, sun, sand, people and staff. Extremally friendly staff, well maintained landscape, good food. All in all we really enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I had a memorable time at Rixos Alamein starting from the time we checked in, we were greeted and taking care of by Ms Sohailaa who was checking out on us every day to make sure that everything was perfect. The house keeping staff were above and beyond perfect. The team at the main dining room , Hossam, Ayman, Mahmoud and Islam were also above and beyond in their service . The food was phenomenal in each meal .We had a great time . Looking forward to come back . Thank you everyone at Rixos , you made our vacation so perfect. We highly recommend this hotel if you decide to come to the north coast, Egypt.

I am very sad to write a bad review as we had high hopes and expectations for this property which appears to be very elegant and luxurious and also expensive! My family stayed at Rixos Alamein June 6-10, 2022 and on the first night of our stay, the air conditioner in the ceiling had been leaking on the tiled floor (it was not leaking when we checked in and therefore we were unaware of this issue). My mother got up to use the bathroom at night and slipped on the wet floor under the AC vent and fell on her shoulder. When she went to the front desk to report the incident and seek medical attention, she was met with apathy and lack of concern for such a tremendous safety issue! She was told the doctor would arrive in half an hour but he came after almost an hour and was young and inexperienced. She herself being a physician, she was disappointed with this doctor who said that an X-ray would be useless and who did not even have a sling to provide support to her arm. Unfortunately since this incident occurred on the first night of our stay, my mom was in pain and not able to enjoy the pool, beach, or other hotel facilities. This incident was also reported to guest relations staff Marwa Sadek. Once we arrived home one week later, my mom had an X-ray done which shows she fractured her arm and it is affecting her ability to work and complete her daily activities.Additionally, we had diarrhea all week long from the food and could barely eat as a result.We had a very disappointing stay!

High end luxury hotel with amazing white sand crystal blue beach ,pool was amazing , staff were wonderful with high end elite class service , food was excellent with huge variety and incomparable taste , overall beyond excellent vaccation

Exceptional beach and quality of water/sand. Excellent staff who are very polite and want to make your stay enjoyable in particular chef Hamdi Abdel Sattar who goes out of his way to make you what you want on the spot. Great service especially from Mohamnad Tarek. Excellent food choices representing Egypt’s home cooked meals very well. Thanks to manager Mohamad Hanafi for giving us a great room and extending us by two additional days. Thanks to the great service by the staff and management that made us feel very welcome and extend our stay by an additional 2 days. Sameh and Jumana Khalil.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I was moving from one room to another and I forgot my wallet in the room. In 20 minutes I found one of the staff returning back my wallet without any thing missing from it. Thanks to the honest staff. Very safe place!! Many thanks to Marwa, Ahmed, and Mahmoud from the reception. Highly recommended as we are coming back next week

The hotel is clean. The food was not good- some dishes are not fresh. I got sick ( food poison after eating fish :( ) and I almost did not eat 2 days of my stay. Find stone in the salad. For the price I paid, it is a bad experience.

World class resort. Check in with Mohamed Hanafi and Hiba Raga very courteous and professional. Beach is exceptional, crystal blue water that is one of the finest in the world on the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. All inclusive, staff eager to make sure entire family had a great time. Good food and service. Wonderful stay in paradise. Highly recommended.

Excellent resort. What makes truly special is the service. They go above snd beyond yo make sure you are happy and comfortable. Just yo mention a few * Ahmed Samy * Ramy Saad * Hossam Mohammed Mohamed Hanafy All did everything to make sure our entire family is happy . We were 8, 2 parents, 3 grandparents and 3 teenagers all had an amazing time.

One of the best hotels

Best place to stay! We had two adjoining rooms for our family. Both rooms were very clean and large. Check-in was efficient. Rehan the guest relations person was exceptional. She checked on us frequently to make sure our needs were being met. Even though we visited during the offseason, and during COVID, the number of staff, food, and entertainment was not compromised. Actually, we enjoyed being there with not so many people. The beach was lovely, private, and vast. Most of the time we felt we had the beach to ourselves. The water and weather this time of year are superb! We will surely return!

The hotel is good and have a wonderful beach Room is good also Food is good But most of staff are rude specially on pool and beach, if you ask someone for something you will notice that he don't want to do it for you, beside their voice is too high and insulting each-other with bad words, they also treat kids so bad but for the girls stuff they were decent and polite and also the reception stuff specially mr hossam was very polite with guests so my only complain is about pool and beach staff.

It was an amazing stay

The beach is phenomenal. The hotel is old and smelly. Everything in the bathroom was rusted. Gaps in the doors. Walls patched up. Very old and run down. It might’ve been a great hotel 10 years ago. But they aren’t doing a great job with maintenance. Very bad overall. Not to mention the crazy overrated room prices. Save your money and go somewhere else. This hotel is not worth the money.

Everything was excellent except checking in and get the room took long time about 1 hour in a non busy time.Other than that everything was wonderful. Heba and Hashem at the front desk were very nice and very helpful.

Amazing experience (hotel, service and food)

I faced a problem in check in that they refused to check me in as they claimed that I am single and not married and the accommodation only allowed for families. While Expedia sent me a confirmation . I had to fight with them and then through a friend who knows one of the hotel owners and he claimed that he paid extra money outside and under the table to enable me to check in which pissed me off and let me feel disappointment but as I had no other choice of accommodation, I had to accept the illegal way of check in
