We spent a night to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and I must say that my expectations were exceeded. This is a true boutique experience, the place feels fairly small but intimate and very fine. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. The room though fairly compact had a well thought out layout and quality furnishings and linens. A bottle of wine and some chocolates were waiting for us in the room upon arrival with a card congratulating us on our occasion. A very nice touch. We also had a great experience in the Library bar. We started with excellent complementary cocktails and then had a very nice lunch. The staff at the bar were a standout, just super nice and thoughtful. I also want to specially mention the breakfast which was very tasty and generous. Obviously not everything was perfect and there are things which can be improved but overall we had an amazing experience. I've been to many highly regarded hotels in Israel and the Norman easily stands at the top.
We had a wonderful stay at The Norman Tel Aviv and, although it is definitely on the expensive side, it may honestly be the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Israel — and we’ve stayed at many. We booked the Loft Suite, which was spacious, modern, very well equipped, and extremely comfortable. Although it was located on the ground floor facing the street, it was surprisingly completely quiet. The hotel courtyard is beautiful, with peaceful green corners to sit and relax, and the overall design combines retro elegance with modern touches very tastefully. The pool area is lovely, with a great bar serving tasty food, and the breakfast was excellent. What stood out most, however, was the service. The staff stayed in proactive contact with us both before and during our stay and genuinely made sure everything was perfect in every possible way. The spa was also excellent — relaxing facilities and a very professional, high-quality massage. The location is ideal, with easy walking access to many parts of the city as well as a great selection of bars and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended for a special occasion or a luxurious city getaway.
Really nothing
Breakfast was great and the location is great.
The spa facilities are completely not sufficient. Massages are not good enough. The rooms are comfortable but also not justifying that price. Restaurants are closed most of the week. It’s a nice boutique hotel but far too expensive…
Everything. It’s our third time :)
Kids in the pool making a lot of noise and running around.
The staff did everything they can to make sure our stay was amazing, handling balloon for the birthday
We had aircondition issue in our room which took a while to fix, that was very unpleasent The breakfirst resturant is too small, we couldn't eat in the main area only on a different area, eventually we ate at the bar
Everything – staff, location, food, room - very good
The fitness centre needs to be enlarged
Usually I like the place. This time it’s seems the place don’t worth it anymore.
The stuff is really slow, the room wasn’t worth the price.
Charming Authentic
Fitness very small
The responsiveness and empathy of staff
The first room allocated with me was musty
I rarely write reviews, but I’m compelled to share our thoughts on the Norman with potential guests debating a stay. The unequivocal answer is YES. I’ll begin by saying that we’ve stayed at the Kempinski on our last few trips (and even for a few nights on this trip). The Kempinski is nice and new— and on the beach— which has always been important to us. However, after staying at the Norman in a Loft room this past week, it’s undoubtedly our new go to. The beach isn’t so far after all, and we didn’t want to eat the food in the Kempinski’s Horizon lounge anyway! The vibe, service, food, location and rooftop pool at the Norman especially stood out for us. This isn’t a large, convention hotel catering to the masses. The Norman is a wonderful boutique with personalized service, intentional follow-up and delicious food (both Alena and Dinings). It felt like our own oasis in the middle of a local Tel Aviv neighborhood— with the meals we’d search for even if we weren’t hotel guests. We loved the small balcony off our room to sip wine or coffee and watch the city moving. From before we arrived until we departed, we were also impressed with the Norman’s digital communication space (I would say messages were monitored in close to real time). In full transparency there were two minor things we mentioned to the front desk on departure- 1) the room was extremely dark, even with the dimmer on full power, 2) room felt humid and had a faint mildew odor despite the dry climate. Thank you again for a terrific stay. We can’t wait to return to Tel Aviv just to stay at the Norman!!

Always talking honestly is the key to win peoples not just heart, but attention as well, cause without honesty and sharing experience, we will never be able to write truthy about how lifestyle to the world about what we acutely deal with, and others reaction. Sometimes the hottest day of the week is not Friday or Saturday, but for some reason its Thursday, and nothing more important to feel good and look good, and take your self out to a great dinner, to enjoy not just the food, but the vibe that you always belong to. Extremely hungry for the food and experience comes with it form such a restaurant at the Norman hotel. Walking through the lobby, welcomed by the hostess, and been seated to start ordering food, drinks, so on. Few things bothered me, this whole dinning in hotel specially its a good restaurant, comes with the experience while you wait for waiter, ordering food, bringing the food and checking out. I didn't get some water as the other tables got, not sure if its selected thing, after ordering appetizer, still no coming back if I needed something. Appetizer came, was good, ordered main, and was steak I guess was the special cut. This is when it get a bit interesting. The steak took forever to arrive, don't know why, even I was checking other tables, they got they mains, and some tables who arrive after me, they got their main before I did, and I was before them. Not enough the main came after a very long time, as I told them I'm very very hungry, the steak came really cold, and for a steak to come cold is a very big no no, specially from a hotel such a name and a restaurant belong to the find dinning. When I start eating as I'm really hungry, the waiter came and told him its cold, and by the time the manager came, it was even colder, and even for them to offer to get it back, it will be frozen and I'm extremely hungry. I was managed by Noa as she was the restaurant manager, I told her what happen as I don't think my night is getting any better. As I think she felt bad for me and offer me coffee. But I was really hungry for not just great food as I expected and wanted, that's why I came to the Norman, but everything was really bad, I think the table who came after me and got their burger before me, enjoy it more, than my expensive table order that I had, as much as its funny but its true. I ordered desert as I think its always the best to eat when you hungry, and it was really good as I have to give it the credit. The cheesecake I ordered was better than the steak and the appetizer and the bad experience put all together. Noa was trying to make my night from mislabel to something as ok, she was really sweet and I very like her as she was trying, but deep inside, you say, this is Norma hotel and the restaurant and hotel should know better, and this should be a no to happen. Sharing such experiences with my 55000 readers and still growing, is something I love explaining that, sometimes, big names do not mean to be wow amazing, even I speak highly about this hotel to all my friends, as small places could be way better and enjoyable, than expensive orders as mind, and I didn't feel anything, as I walked out, and I said, I ordered, I didn't enjoy, I paid, I tipped as well, and walked away as something was missing, instead of say, this is it for the night, perfect ending and time to go sleep, but was more for like go and buy something better to eat.
We had a truly delightful stay at this exceptional hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautifully maintained property, which offers a perfect balance of comfort, style, and relaxation. The culinary experience exceeded our expectations — every meal was thoughtfully prepared, featuring fresh ingredients and a variety of flavorful options that catered to all tastes. Dining at the hotel was consistently a pleasure. The staff deserves special mention for their outstanding service. Warm, attentive, and highly professional, every team member contributed to a welcoming and accommodating atmosphere throughout our stay. The pool area was another highlight —well-designed, and ideal for relaxation. It added significantly to the overall sense of leisure and rejuvenation. We sincerely appreciated every aspect of our time at this hotel and would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone seeking a high-quality, enjoyable vacation experience.
The Norman is one of the best hotels we've stayed at. The staff are extraordinary, going above and beyond for everything we needed. In a challenging time, they were calm, supportive and in control on all aspects. They made sure we were safe while still enjoying our holiday, and assisting us when we needed to leave.
Everything was great. I can't think of anything that we didn't like or would recommend against.
À great home in tlv
Great!!!
Definitely the location is amazing and the pool is quiet and restful. The service is excellent at the restaurant, bar and pool.
I had a really nice stay and I don’t have anything negative to say about it. It’s a small luxury hotel and they do their best to maintain that standard.
I stayed at the Norman on a business trip and loved my experience. To start, the lobby smells amazing and is really one of the most beautiful hotel lobbies I've seen. The room was lovely, and service was great. Breakfast was held at the hotel restaurant and was included in the room rate. The food was super fresh and delish. I'd love to come back to enjoy the pool and spa.
Just don’t stay there, horrible hotel in every aspect. horrible service, even in Israeli standard, old noisy and outdated rooms, bad food, especially in comparison to the options Tel Aviv is offering. The only reason the current rsting is 8.8 and not 5, is because it used to be a great hotel in the past, and has many past good reviews. I stayed there many times , and till 2-3 years ago it was great hotel, but now, its unbelievable bad.
Extremely well trained staff, excellent housekeeping, beautiful architecture and decor with respect for the building’s history. Dining on their beautiful patio is not to be missed.
It was a home away from home. Calm, tranquil, and supported by lovely staff, all of whom smiled and were so efficient. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Tel Aviv'
Checking out. I could have stayed for so much longer, but I will be back.
I spent the weekend at this beautiful hotel in the heart of Tel Aviv, and honestly, it really lives up to its hype. The vibe is super elegant but still feels cozy, and everything from the room to the spa was just spot-on. What really made it special, though, was the service. Everyone was so genuinely kind and attentive, definitely left a taste for more and cannot wait to come back!!
We had a fantastic stay at The Norman. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel really stood out. The rooftop pool was a highlight — perfect for a quiet break after exploring the city. Staff were kind and professional, and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely come back.
Wonderful hotel. Wonderful, attentive staff.
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Nomad Hotel in March, and it was truly an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the outstanding staff, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay. Our room was simply flawless—beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. It provided everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The breakfast was another highlight—absolutely incredible, with a great variety of delicious options to start the day right. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was fantastic, making our time in Tel Aviv even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we will definitely return on our next visit. Highly recommended!
My stay at this hotel in Tel Aviv was absolutely fantastic. The hospitality was exceptional, and every detail was taken care of perfectly. From the comfortable rooms to the outstanding service, nothing fell short of expectations. Highly recommended!
Best hospitality experience in Tel Aviv. Great atmosphere, carefully designed, and the most helpful staff. Restaurant Alena is a culinary haven for foodlovers. I can highly recommend The Norman we had an exceptional stay. Only thing to mention is the size of the gym.
Our pre-wedding party of 20 felt very comfortable in the private dining room. The food and wine was superb. Compliments to the chef. The service was friendly, gracious and super professional. Ashley our server read my mind whenever I felt like a refill. What a great place! All the glowing reviews are well deserved.
The best hotel in Tel Aviv Staff are exceptional, the eye for detail is unparalleled. Everything far exceeded my expectations

A truly excellent hotel. From the first welcome until I left, the staff, service and facilities were stunning. Rooms are exceptional - clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. Superb massage on my final day left me feeling relaxed and ready to return to the UK. Thoroughly recommend a stay here.
Wonderful hotel
Too Late checkin, too early checkout.
Clean! Excellent service!
noise from the planes
This hotel lives up to its reputation. It is a truly great hotel with exemplary service. It appears to be primarily a business hotel with many meetings taking place daily. It has a reputation as one is the premier hotels in Tel Aviv. For those who complained about its location, granted it’s a bit off the beaten trail but a 15 minute walk from most attractions. I will admit that the price makes it unaffordable for many people but the treatment we received was commensurate with the price.
Stayed at the Norman during a recent trip to Tel Aviv and could not say nicer things about it. The staff was amazing, the food delicious, and the bar was quite happening. The rooms themselves are very comfortable and incredibly quiet - even on the front street facing side. An added benefit is that you are located in a really cute local neighborhood but close to great shopping and culture!
Location, styling.
the “Spa” was two treatment rooms. No additional facilities. A spa within the hotel was one of the major reasons we picked this hotel. This was FALSE advertising. Staff were unfriendly.
When I first arrived, I was put in a "Classic" room in the back of the hotel--over the very noisy hotel bar, hundreds of streaks of bird dung covering the outside of the windows, shower that leaked all over the bathroom floor and was so small it was hard to turn around. For $420/night, I expected better. The next morning, I complained & was moved to a bigger, better room in front. The new room was fabulous--bigger and quieter, ceiling fan to keep cool, much nicer bathroom. From then on out, stay was a delight. Staff were gracious, breakfasts were excellent, and common spaces are terrific. Bottom line: as long as you avoid the "classic" rooms in the back, it's a lovely place to stay.
The hotel was fantastic. I definitely recommend it. From the first moment I felt brilliant. The staff is very helpful. Delicious breakfasts, brilliant area with a swimming pool on the roof. The decor, the atmosphere - I liked everything.
I don't think I can name any disadvantages. Everything was perfect :-)
