Wonderful place outside the city

Wonderful hotel! We had a prefect dinner across the street at a restaurant. The owner even gave us a ride to the train station in the morning and helped us with our tickets. Wished we could have stayed a couple of more days.

A little peaceful haven on earth away from the city. Located in a beautiful countryside. Friendly and helpful staff - we felt like at home. Convenient 10-15 minutes walk to the train station and then 20-25 train ride to a city center.

Just a few minutes from the highway exit. Easy to reach as soon as you enter the town. Large and convenient on-site parking. Spotlessly clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant available on the opposite side of the street.

Mega Frühstücksbuffet

Our family of five had a wonderful three day stay! The staff were so helpful and kind. It’s a quaint hotel, with easy access to Munich, if you want more action. Our preference was to have an authentic Bavarian experience, away from the city, and we got that exactly. We loved the wellness spa, the daily breakfast was delicious, and the entire place was spotless. Wonderful stay, we would absolutely love to visit again!

Excellent stop on the way to northern Germany, super recommended!

Tolles Hotel für ein München-Wochenende!

Bel hotel et propre. Personnel poli et efficace. Patron, généreux et remarquable. Il nous a prêté 2 vélos de sa famille n’en trouvant pas à louer. J’ai eu un gros problème que je n’ai pu traiter mon Anglais et Allemand étant trop pauvres. Il l’a réglé à ma place en passant 3 appels téléphoniques et 3 mails. Exceptionnel !

die umgebung konnten wir nicht erkunden in einer Übernachtung. Alles andere war sehr gut.Typisch bayrischer Charme im Hotel. Alles sehr gepflegt und gemütlich. Eine kleine Saunalandschaft mit grossem Whirlpool und Aussenlichtfenstern im Ruheraum. Sehr schöne Bar und ein ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, bei dem es an nichts fehlte. Hervorzuheben sind die äusserst freundliche Bedienung und Hilfsbereitschaft in allen Bereichen. Wir kommen auf unserer Rückreise sofort wieder und werden dieses Hotel auch mündlich sehr gern weiter empfehlen.

Beautiful spot on the outskirts of Munich with a great spa area - hot tub and saunas. It was very comfortable and nice.

Great country hotel with super service.

We knew there were no diner facilities! Breakfast was great! Don't forget to order you omelet! Large parking, multiple charging units (> 50 km/ hour). Station to Munich near by (parking €2,00 per day).

The staff were excellent, friendly and courteous. The breakfast was sumptuous and plentiful. We loved the Bavarian touches in the design of the place. All in all a wonderful place to stay.

The property and staff were all first class. One area of improvement how've was that the sauna and steam room should have better open times. Nothing till 5pm. Would deconstructed stay again.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Schöne ruhige Terrasse mit Blick ins Grüne um den Abend ausklingen zu lassen. Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und schön. Frühstücksbüffet war auch sehr umfangreich. Ausreichend Parkplätze. Es gibt auch Lademöglickeit für E-Fahrzeuge. Nichts zu meckern, deswegen die absolute Weiterempfehlung.

Tres bel hotel confortable

Owne operator were exceptional, knowledgeable, friendly, and would and did go out of there wsy to help. Owner actually picked us up at train station as well as dropped us off there. A 20 minute walk if they did not help

In the tradition of the hospitality of this area of Germany in the 1970s and 80s, beautifully-built and decorated, with professional staff responsive to travelers’ needs, such as a glass of hot tea in the evening, with a lovely breakfast and plenty of room to feel at home.

This is the BEST hotel to stay in the area. The facilities are great and the owners are so friendly and helpful. A Bavarian charmer! Highly recommended with young children. Excellent breakfast, relaxing setting.

-clean, and very comfortable. Room appears to have been updated recently and maintained well.Iespecially loved the L'Occitane products. -Spa facilities were great. Also clean, well maintained. Unfortunately steam room was out of order during our visit, but was able to use sauna -bar was peaceful and relaxing. -breakfast was awesome....many selections including hot food, really enjoyed it. -I would have loved it if restaurant or ability to order food onsite. It is a relaxing and peaceful hotel, where I could imagine staying for much longer. Also would be great for family gathering/holiday. Overall excellent stay. Would defiinitely recommend.

Very charming hotel with lots of room for parking; loved the view from our balcony. The owner at the front desk spoke English very well and was super accommodating to us. The staff in the breakfast room were also very friendly and acommodating and the breakfast food (fruit, etc) was super fresh and delicious.

Very enjoyable few nights with plenty of good tips from the staff on things to do and see in Munich. Excellent breakfast too.

We only stayed here one night after arriving on an overnight flight from Canada and we loved our short stay here. Check in and out a breeze and front desk staff very friendly and spoke good English. Easy parking. Hotel room was beautiful and clean. Great washroom and shower. Tons of storage and a little kitchen if you were to stay for longer. Walkable to restaurants. Star of the show was the amazing buffet breakfast! Would stay again just for that!

The visit was short but perfect and we got one of the best hotelbreakfasts ever. Very greatful for the information We got about another way due to traficjam and vinjette that saved us time today.

There is no way I can put into words the AMAZING experience we had here. The hotel is SPOTLESS, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was the BEST we have EVER had at a hotel (25+ years of travel). The employees are BEYOND friendly. Always going out of their way to be kind and helpful. The owners were on hand daily to help us navigate Bavaria, give tips for local things to do, and even give us a ride to the train station when our rental car didn't work out. We literally are planning another trip to Germany around going back to this hotel. I have never stayed at a better place and if I could give them 100 stars, I would!!!!

Love love love this property. Stayed with wife and two kids. 20ish subway to City of Munich. Clean property with great breakfast. Good gym for Germany Hotel and nice little “wellness” area. Definitely plan to return.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was clean, comfortable and the spa was so relaxing! Also, the hotel employees were so helpful and courteous. And the breakfast was excellent! We will be back.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt. Die Mappe für die Zimmerkarten wurden sehr schön mit Federhalter beschrittet. Wir bekamen eine Empfehlung für ein Abendessen, da Hotel Garni. Auch dort waren wir sehr zufrieden. Am Abend habe ich noch den Wellnessbereich genossen - allein. Es war alles vorhanden, mehrere Saunen, Tauchbecken und Whirlpool. Alles war sehr schön und sauber. Besonders hervorragend war dann das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen. Sehr nettes Personal, wir wurden mit vielen leckeren Sachen verwöhnt. Haben schon viele Jahre nicht mehr so ein Frühstück bekommen, sind oft in Hotel‘s unterwegs. Dickes Lob.

Nach vielen Jahren wiedergekommen. Hotel super in Schuss. So soll es sein. Großes Frühstücksbüffet. Super nettes Personal.Ich komme wieder; hoffentlich habe ich bald eine gelegenheit in München etwas zu tun; übrigens S-Bahn- Anschluß.

Rymliga rum och passar bra för barnfamiljer. Bra frukost och mysig omgivning. Väldigt bra service och trevlig personal. Vi kom sent och restaurangerna hade stängt men hotellpersonalen hjälpte oss med att beställa mat med leverans till rummet från lokal pizzeria.

I stayed at many great hotels in my 2 week trip in Germany, but this was my favorite. Staff were so friendly and helpful, taking time to help me understand how to take the train into Munich. I like the peaceful country setting, to start and end my days of sightseeing. Restaurants are within walking distance too, in case you’d like to have several beers. I hope to return soon.

Went to see my son and family who live 10 minutes away. Will definitely use this hotel again. Everyone spoke English and did everything possible for us. Breakfast was very good also.

Everything about this hotel is excellent. The friendly and helpful staff were extremely accommodating. Room was perfectly clean, comfortable, and completely sufficient for our needs. Located in a small village-like area, very quiet and beautiful, but close to the train. Short train ride to the city-centre in Munich. Breakfast is outstanding and plentiful. On-site free parking. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Beautiful country Inn...thoroughly enjoyed the helpfulness...breakfast was a highlight!

I was trepidatious at first because there was no AC. However, the assurances of the front desk clerk that it wasn’t needed was accurate. There was a lovely breeze from the balcony windows. The room was great and the view to the Garden from the balcony was amazing. The wellness facilities were a welcome place after a busy day of sightseeing. I highly recommend this place.

The property is very well maintained. The woodwork in the rooms and common areas is gorgeous. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. All of our interactions with the staff were excellent and all of our needs we're met. We will definitely staff there again the next time we're in the area.

Staffs are very kind and generous Hotel is super clean and well maintained. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was amazing. One of my greatest stay ever.

All was great. We were there when outside temperatures were very high and did miss not having air conditioning or fans.

We had a wonderful stay. It was very cozy and the warmth can be felt in this gorgeous cabin-like lodging. Family-run and they are very pleasant and efficient. The freshness of the air in our balcony was amazing. Breakfast is great! They have a variety of selection. We weren’t able to bring any swimwear so we missed using the whirlpool, steam room and sauna. They also have a very nice and complete mini gym room plus a tanning room! Our kids and us had fun exploring the ammenities available.

Amazing hotel. The staff treated my husband and I like we were family. I’ve never felt safer in a hotel before. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. I guess the only thing I would have liked was something to eat other than the amazing breakfast. Even if they would serve sandwiches or a bread bowl would have been nice. Because trying to find a place to eat was tiresome.

While it is a bit out of the way (20-30 minute public transportation ride) to downtown Munich it was refreshing to be "out" of the city after a long day of traveling. The place was clean, comfortable and the staff were very helpful. 15 minute walk to public transportation may be difficult for some, but the staff will give you a ride if you ask.

The room was very clean and comfortable, however a few additional pillows would have been nice. That was the only thing that we didn’t like. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. The breakfast was also great!!!!

This is very beautiful hotel. Very good location , easy to get to the train. The hotel its very clean and comfortable. Beautiful Flowers out side around and inside. They have a very good cofee machine at the lobby and nice bar. About the breakfast!!! Excellent breakfast, large selection of cold cuts, cheese, eggs, juices pastries . Nice rooms and great breakfast

We were very well looked after for our two week holiday by Thomas, Birgit, Ferdinand and all their staff to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary. It is an immaculate Hotel in a country environment with free parking and access to the Suburban and Underground train links to the whole of Munich. The breakfast is excellent with a blend of continental, cereal and hot food with attentive staff. The rooms were cleaned every day with regular sheet and towel changes. We made use of their excellent laundry facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and wouldn't hesitate to return in the future. Thanks again.

Beautiful establishment in the Bayern style. Fresh, varied breakfast. Local train stop nearby, bought a multi person pass at the hotel good to use for all public transport over several days. Very helpful staff.

The owner Bridget and her husband Thomas, her brother Ferdinand, Mom and the rest of employees were wonderful .The rooms will beautiful, the breakfast was excellent, and the town was very sweet. Great place to stay while in Germany. Train station nearby and 20 minutes to Munich.

This was our second time here because we really enjoy it there. We get plenty of space, including a nice sized bathroom. We also love the breakfast.

We had a quick overnight stay here just before a flight. As such, we were only there for about 6 hours. The front desk was great and made sure we were all prepared for your flight the next day by printing our boarding passes for us. He also recommended a nice restaurant just down the street.

The room was very spacious by European standards. It had a great view of farms and has easy access to Munich without being in the city.

Great, super friendly service. They made us feel like we were the only guests. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of great food. They even offered to cook us eggs and bacon. Lots of parking. The grounds are beautiful. Nice grocery store nearby. Also some good restaurants in the area. Can't say enough about this place. Loved it!!!
