La Televisión de mi cuarto no funcionaba (Daba pantalla azul y tenia unas lineas) de igual forma el control de la TV no funcionaba del todo.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026La ubicacion es muy céntrica y tiene bonita vista al ex convento. Las instalaciones son limpias y el personal es accesible. Nuestro cuarto deluxe parecia de otra época. Sirven rico capuchino en el desayuno.
Ofrecen desayuno a la carta pero cuando estuvimos no había ni longaniza ni cochinita pibil (2 productos típicos de la región) pero podría ser porque era martes y miércoles. Aun así considero que debería de haber al menos uno de esos. El desayuno es afuera entonces hay algo de calor. Aluxes encerraron a mi hijo en una habitación y no se pudo abrir pero alguien de mantenimiento lo resolvió rápido.

Very uncomfortable bed, no coffee maker just very austere. Employees are not helpful and could not even help sending clothes to wash. It’s a pitty as the place has a lot of potential but it really needs an upgrade.

El hotel es elegante, con un patio maravilloso, con vistas espectaculares, la vegetación bien cuidada y la piscina fantástica. El personal muy amable y todo muy tranquilo. Perfecto para el descanso y para poder disfrutar del pueblo.

Reviewed Mar 19, 2026The hotel is walking distance from the bus terminal and the convent. The room was so spacious a sitting area will fit. TV had good reception, and we watch The Oscars 2026. The water had excellent pressure in the sink and shower. To go to the restaurant, there is a steep stairs, but we didn’t have any problems going up. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. The only problem was the WiFi didn’t work, so we had to pay cash.
The pool is too dark. It needs more light at night.

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026Grundsätzlich wäre das Hotel in Ordnung, kommt aber auf die Lage der Zimmer an. Das Schlafzimmer und das Badezimmer sind gross und die Dusche funktioniert einwandfrei.
Wir hatten das Zimmer nr. 4, welches direkt an der Strasse angrenzt. Da das grosse Fenster keinem europäischen Standard entspricht, ist es auch mit Oropax nicht möglich zu schlafen. Am schlimmsten sind die lauten Motorräder und die streuenden Rudel Strassenhunde. Ausserdem sehr laut ist auch die Klimaanlage. Nervig ist, dass alle Steckdosen ausgeleiert sind und keine auf einer Höhe wo Handys etc. aufgeladen werden können. Die Lichtschalter sind weit weg vom Bett und sehr umständlich zu erreichen wenn man ins Bett geht oder zwischendurch aufs WC. Im Gang zwischen WC und Schlafzimmer hat es ein grosses Fenster, wo das Licht vom angrenzenden Büro, insbesondere in der Nacht, das Schlafzimmer erhellt. Zusammengefasst: Zimmer Nr. 4 ist nicht brauchbar.

Reviewed Jan 29, 2026Lovely building very nicely restored and an excellent location. Our room was in the hotel annexe they call the villa where the pool is located. Breakfast which we didn't take was in the main hotel a couple of doors down the street. It's a nice place. Impressive.
Unfortunately our room was on the road and very noisy. It was a very good size but had no natural light. The shower room was a good size but there was no hot water. Ordinarily that probably would have been ok but we had cold weather so a cold shower wasn't what was required. A different room with hot water would have received a nine I expect.

We didnt really have a window in our room. The stairs were quite steep, and we had to carry quite a lot to the room. The fact that there isn't an option for included breakfast. Nevertheless they have a restaurant that serves nice breakfast.

Reviewed Jan 6, 2026Nous avons beaucoup aimé l’hôtel en lui-même. Il est très bien situé et notre chambre était calme. L’hôtel est agréable, le jardin est grand, la piscine impeccable, il y a beaucoup de terrasses pour se relaxer. Le personnel est gentil et accueillant.
Il manque un banc ou deux pour poser ses valises. Un fauteuil dans la chambre serait bienvenu également. Le grand lit est confortable et la salle de bain est très bien.

Reviewed Dec 29, 2025En fait nous avons posé nos bagages dans la chambre #2 mais il y avait dans celle-ci une forte odeur de naphtaline (toxique de respirer cette odeur). Nous avons décidé d’annuler notre séjour mais aucune autre chambre de disponible. A la réception ils ont refusé de nous rembourser même juste une nuit. Nous avons quitté et sommes allés ailleurs. Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas bien cette journée là. Il y avait selon ce qu’on nous a dit des problèmes depuis la journée précédente et que les problèmes seraient réglés dans une heure. Je me questionne comment pouvait ils savoir que le wifi reviendrait dans une heure, permettez moi d’en douter. Point positif l’emplacement avec vue sur le Convento magnifique. Bel hôtel, avec belle piscine et jardin. Employés gentils. Selon moi nous sommes juste tombé sur une mauvaise chambre.

Reviewed Dec 25, 2025Fantastic view from breakfast area. Izamal is a small town, so this Hôtel like the most hotels there has good location.
1, we booked a Superior Double Room. However, we were given a very dark very noisy ground floor standard room next to the reception area. We got the correct room only after complaining to the manager that that’s not the room we paid for. I noticed from the review for this hotel that the same things happened many times before. 2, we stayed in room 5 for 2 nights. It’s facing a T junction so it’s quite noisy. But the worst part is that there are 4 very high steps leading from the room to the bathroom, which would be very dangerous for the elderly or ordinary people to go to the bathroom at night. 3, there was no any Internet signal in room 5 for our first day staying. They repaired the Wi-Fi the second day and it was fine then.

Que la sobrecama apestaba a sucia al igual que las almohadas, solo te ponen un rollito de papel higiénico y 2 jabones pequeños. Así que jabón para las manos no hay. En el baño había una fuga de agua que por cierto se me olvidó reportar.
