Would suggest having gluten free bread on the breakfast table. We realize quickly gluten free isn't easily available in St. George.

Breakfast was good. Location was great.

Staff was not accommodating as we were told by a staff member by phone that we had joining rooms and we did not . They did not try to make changes or even apologize for the mix up. All they needed to do was apologize and say unfortunately they could not change it rather then try to find out who to blame for the mix up. Also the outside sitting area needs a lot of work - picnic tables are peeling so that you could not sit on them without getting dirty and the chairs should be thrown out as they are fraying and dangerous to sit on.

Location , breakfast , Being told we had adjourning and arrive not adjourning. Whether on line booking or not there should be upgrading when clients acknowledge there is an issue

The place was an older model, clean, quiet and comfortable. The only thing I was disappointed with was the coffee. It was bad. I felt I was drinking liquid that looked like coffee. The courtyard has so much potential but seeing cigarette butts in overstuffed ashtrays wasn't a pleasant sight. The vegetation could use a major tirming. Replace some of the worn chairs and repaint the picnic tables and you have a wonderful area outside.

We were on a road trip and needed a place to break our drive from Cape Breton to Massachusetts. The Granite Town Hotel was a great place to rest for one night. The staff was friendly and check-in was easy. Comfortable room and beds. We got ice cream at the local dairy bar (within walking distance) after dinner, and in the morning, breakfast at the hotel was quick and filling. We'd stay again!

Would be nice to have a fitness room and pool!

The room was a bit small with a button much furniture. It was at times hard to navigate my walker around. The mattress was a bit too soft. It could have used an extra bedside table and a lamp.

Breakfast was boiled eggs and a bunch of pastries (not fresh clearly). There was coffee and regular tea. Some toast and butter. When I heard breakfast I at least suspected something other than eggs pastries and toast.

De faciliteiten; er was geen koffie/thee op de kamer en/of in de lounge. De schoonmaak; er lagen overal lange zwarte haren De bedden; geen dekbedden maar ouderwetse dekens en zwaar sprei Het ontbijt; matig en onprofessioneel (stukjes gesneden boter op een bord ipv kuipjes)

Continental type breakfast was included. Lovely dining room to sit and enjoy the basics.

This hotel is comfortable and quiet but dated in decor. Mattress was comfortable. Older bathroom with basic shower and tub. It feels like they take advantage of being one of very few options in the area and charge a higher rate for what is offered in return.

The price per night is a little high for an old tub/shower, lock that sticks and stayed unlocked all night! The walls and ceiling are so thin I could hear every movement and footstep from the rooms beside and above me

Price was way too high with taxes, ac was loud, booking price was 209 + 36 in tax but was charges 280$, room was dated

Great location for the ferry. The hotel was just a bit dated, but everything was very clean - even the light bulbs! Good breakfast and very friendly staff.

Décor is a bit dated and the AC unit blows directly on the bed, but the bed was comfortable.

The info about our pet was not transferred from booking.com to the hotel so that was awkward (and more expensive) at checkout. "We didn't know you had a pet."

Ruhige Lage etwas außerhalb des Ortes. Nur 15 Minuten zur Fähre nach Grand Manan. Reichlich Parkplätze. Zimmer ausreichend groß.

Zimmer müsste mal renoviert werden. Dusche haben wir nicht benutzt, da wenig einladend. Zimmerkühlschrank sehr laut, muss nachts ausgeschaltet werden. Auch die laute Klimaanlage haben wir ausgeschaltet, was aber nicht hilft, wenn diese im Nachbarzimmer an ist. Sehr einfaches Frühstück.

It was clean, well manicured grounds and room was on the first floor and accessible. The two staff members that I encountered were friendly and professional.

All of the people at the front desk were so friendly and very helpful, going out of the way to accommodate us with our individual needs. The continental breakfast was good, the parking is perfect and the location to the ferry was great.

There was some rust on the side of the bathtub and the lighting was a bit dim, but the beds, microwave, refrigerator, and the fact you could open the windows for fresh air were great. I'd recommend it, especially for just passing through.

Eine Seite des Hotels blickt auf einen zeitweise lauten Sportplatz. Mein Zimmer war wegen des Außenbewuchses sehr dunkel. Ganz in der Nähe war der Kompressor der Klimaanlage des Hotel. Er war wirklich sehr laut. Noch lauter als der Kühlschrank. Der Frühstücksraum war etwas eng.

A great stop with our dog en route to St. Stephen border crossing. St. George is a cute seaside town between big city Saint John, and upscale resort St. Andrew by the Sea. The property is a family run (not chain) hotel, very nicely maintained but not super modern. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast was serviceable.

The location was great for my stay, I could walk downtown in 5 minutes. The staff were very nice. The room has cable TV, mini fridge and microwave, though it is showing its age. The continental breakfast hit the spot for me and I liked the coffee.

Ohne Klimaanlage wurde es im Zimmer sehr schnell stickig und warm. Da die Anlage relativ laut war, konnte sie über Nacht nicht laufen (die Außentemperatur nachts betrug nur 15 Grad).

I recently stayed at the Granite Town Hotel and had an overall pleasant experience. It was exactly what we needed, right off the highway dog friendly and clean.

The front desk attendants were helpful and courteous. The continental breakfast was okay. But the rooms were NOT up to any standard that I could see! The smell as we entered the room was musty so thought if we turned on the A/C and put on the fan we could atleast get some fresh air, that made it worse!! There were hairs on the bathroom floor and around the side of the tub (not belonging to me or my bf). Glad they didnt charge us for the 2 other guests...a spider and a large centipede in the tub! This will be the last time we ever stay in this location!! Do yourself a favor and pay a bit extra for a more upscale place in St. Andrews!!

We enjoyed our stay and the staff were helpful and friendly. We appreciated all the surrounding green space to take our dogs on walks. My suggestions are to have fresh brewed decaf coffee and less sugary cereal (bran flakes). The banana bread was excellent.

Clean and well maintained. Our room was very hot so we had to keep the air conditioner on all night which was quite noisy. Basic continental style breakfast.

Staff were wonderful. The interior could really use an upgrade. There was lime growing on the toilet paper holder. There was toothpaste smeared under the tap faucet. My friends room had a brown smear stain on the bedspread. And we struggled with our toilet not flushing which was very embarrassing.
