Great architecture and nice rooms. The restaurant has a great view if the rooftop is cozy.

Prices for drinks and food are way above local standards. It’s okay that a hotel is asking more than a local restaurant but here it is just more expensive than in Germany. The team is friendly but not as kind as I am used to in Thailand.

Location and bed!

Stayed in a few Salas - and while they clearly have shared standards on bedding and architecture - felt this one was a real outsider for guest service. The main factor is that the restaurant gets busy with non-guests but the staff don’t tell you to reserve a table. Drilling was from breakfast to sunset so the pool wasn’t relaxing. The bedroom view was of a white wall. Staff repeatedly ask you to fill in Google reviews throughout your stay. Just ask at the end of the- it’s cheap!

Le personnel est très gentil et la terrasse pour le petit déjeuner est vraiment agréable. Le petit déjeuner servi à table aussi est excellent. La chambre est grande et moderne mais la vue est vraiment limitée (sauf celles avec vue rivière j’imagine)

Selon moi il manque un endroit où se poser en extérieur autre que la terrasse du restaurant. Les abords de la piscine ne sont pas du tout une option.

La décoration très moderne était assez étonnante. Le sol en béton !! Rangements inexistants à l’exception d’un pourtant!! Le petit-déjeuner était excellent avec une magnifique vue sur un temple.

Une belle découverte. Un hôtel très design et rare je pense dans cette région. Piscine petite mais trop chouette. Déco super ! Salle de bain géniale

À vrai dire pas grand chose. Juste un peu gênée pr la climatisation qui est insérée dans un pan du plafond et qui nous souffle dessus la nuit . Plutôt inconfortable. Les temples de Ayuttahia ... bof ! Surtout le grand bouddha ! C'est une plaisanterie de mauvais goût ! Mais rien à voir avec l'hôtel !

The hotel is positioned in a horizontal plane bordering the river. After the reception you progress into an open corridor that has ingeniously been designed following the architectural red brick style of the old Ayutthaya so as to give the impression this is an extension of the archeological sites. This corridor will progress in a vertical direction capped in the end by the restaurant overlooking the river. Along the way there is a space to access an inner courtyard distinctively white, with a swimming pool in the middle. From this courtyard the various rooms can be accessed. We had a ground floor room looking at the river. This was the biggest space we stayed in Thailand with a huge bathtub included. As for the restaurant, it has both an inside area and terrace area overlooking a modern temple located immediately across the waterfront. Breakfasts and dinners were varied, and the terrace is great place for aperitivo and watching the sunset. If you wish to visit Ayutthaya in a calmed manner, this is a great place to stay.

The room is even better than the photos, staff very friendly and helpful and the property is spotlessly clean. Great views and location. My only negative was the aircon that was too cold and I couldn't manage to make it warmer but in fairness to the property I didn't raise this with them, I am sure if I had raised it then they would have rectified. Great property, I would highly recommend it to others.

The pool is very small

The hotel view was beautiful, and had a great access to surrounding areas.

Unfortunately, the stay was quite noisy, and I couldn’t sleep well. The breakfast selection was very limited, and I expected more considering the amount we paid for the property. The air conditioning was also not working properly, as the room kept getting excessively cold.

Ich hatte das falsche Datum gebucht und wir waren eine Woche zu früh da 🫣 das Personal hat alles geregelt und in 10 min waren wir „umgebucht“. Besser geht nicht. Mega Lage - toller Ausblick - mega Zimmer…tolles Abendessen und tolles Frühstück.

Un séjour absolument remarquable. L’emplacement, à deux pas du Chao Phraya, offre un cadre exceptionnel. Le petit déjeuner est généreux et raffiné, parfait pour bien commencer la journée. Le rooftop est un vrai coup de cœur, avec d’excellents cocktails dans une atmosphère élégante. La chambre, somptueuse, séduit par son confort et sa grande baignoire propice à la détente. Le dîner fut un véritable délice. Mention spéciale enfin pour la gentillesse et l’attention du personnel, qui rendent l’expérience encore plus mémorable.

The room was amazing with a fantastic view across the river, the lounge bar at the top was also fantastic. We were the only ones in there rooftop bar and the breakfast was excellent as well served at the table.

Temperature controlled on the air-conditioning in the room is not working so it’s very hot overnight and also my friends came with us. She’s breakfast with stone cold

Wonderful room in a beautiful location. Very clean and comfortable environment with friendly staff. The restaurant was excellent for both evening meals and breakfast. The setting on the river is picturesque.

Nous avons voulu boire un verre au bord de l'eau à l'heure du dîner, et le service a été très long. Quelques noix de cajou en complément auraient été appreciées vue la qualité de l établissement. Mais l etablissement est exceptionnel c est ce que nous retiendrons

Séjour parfait

Chambre de conception et finitions originales réussies.

Petit déjeuner correct, mais pas buffet. "Roof top" bar loupé. Le restaurant ferme à 22h mais à 21h30 on vous amène la note et on remballe intensivement, on coupe les ventilateurs, mais on vous laisse quand même la lumière ! Piscine très petite et mal placée.

Adorei tudo. A localização é boa, perto da zona histórica e monumental, facilmente acessível por bicicleta disponibilizada pelo hotel. O quarto era excepcional bem decorado, muito espaçoso. Não usei a banheira redonda, mas usei o colchão da área de leitura acessível por uma pequena escada. E abrindo a porta do quarto tinha a piscina mesmo em frente. O edifício do hotel é lindo, bem integrado, bem recuperado. De salientar a vista do restaurante, diretamente para o rio com um templo mesmo em frente. A simpatia dos colaboradores é um ex-libris do país. Restaurante muito bom, com preços muito enquadrados, e um pequeno-almoço divinal.

Não gostei de não poder ficar mais tempo, por ter a agenda de viagem muito cheia :)

L’accueil chaleureux, la situation, l’architecture moderne dans le style ancien avec un grand espace chambre et une baignoire au milieu qui par un système de rideaux peut être intime , le fait de pouvoir utiliser des vélos pour visiter les sites, une petite piscine bien rafraîchissante, le petit déjeuner en terrasse était excellent.

Une architecture incroyable, une chambre grande, très confortable et très calme, bien isolée. Le petit déjeuner est excellent , servi à table. Les vélos sont prêtés gracieusement. La vue depuis le bar et le restaurant est merveilleuse.

Un déficit d’information sur ce qu’on peut faire en vélo. Le plan de la ville est absolument incomplet et incompréhensible, il n’y a aucun fléchage ou alors en thaï. Nous avons tenté d’aller visiter les temples de l’autre côté de la rivière, c’est impossible et même dangereux sur le pont à cause de la circulation, on ne nous a pas prévenus. Le prix de la bouteille d’eau dans la chambre est grotesque. Le prix de la réservation d’un taxi pour Bangkok est quasiment le triple que sur l’application Grab.

Tolle Lage am Fluss mit Blick auf einen Tempel. Hatte ein Zimmer mit Terrasse mit toller Aussicht. Frühstück sehr gut. Sehr freundliches Personal. Abendessen sehr gut. Sehenswürdigkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Fahrräder zur Besichtigung können kostenlos im Hotel ausgeliehen werden.

Politeness, kindness and helpfulness of the members of staff at reception, restaurant, massage ladies, cleaners, amazing people!! Wonderful breakfast, incredible view from my room. Also, I loved the comfort of the bed, the minimalist and tasteful decoration in my room and the daily special drink brought to my room. I'm back home and can't help reminiscing the beautiful and relaxing time I had at Sala Ayutthaya.

It's only my perspective, but instead of Occidental pop music at the restaurant I would have preferred to hear either traditional Thai music or music from any other country but something AUTHENTIC, with a sense of culture: salsa, Berber, Balkans, etc... the shallowness of Occidental meaningless pop music brings the exceptional level of beauty and uniqueness of Sala Ayutthaya to a cheap level. This is very minim, but I had to call reception every night to ask if they could switch off the lights of my balcony in order to be able to see the temples illuminated. It would be easier to have switches in the bedroom.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit hervorragender Aussicht auf den Chayo Phraya und einen Tempel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Flussblick und Terrasse. Absolut empfehlenswert. Frühstück hervorragend. Auch das Abendessen am Fluß ist toll. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in der Nähe. Wir haben diese mit dem kostenlosen Fahrrad des Hotels erkundet.

Beautiful rooms Everything was excellent

We loved everything about this hotel, we arrived by train at 4.20am and they had a taxi waiting for us and staff on hand to welcome us at that time. The rooms / we had two, were excellent, huge and very comfortable. The restaurant setting and food were amazing and very relaxing overlooking the river and temples.

The pool was very cold.

I severely twisted my ankle after stepping into one of the holes in the parking area and nearly fell into oncoming traffic. This represents a serious safety risk.

We liked almost everything. The rooftop bar lacked a bit of atmosphere perhaps and was far too cold. Food good but not as good as some much cheaper Thai food I have had elsewhere. That said, the beef in the Massaman curry was incredibly tender.

Tout était irréprochable : la vue, la chambre, le personnel, le petit déjeuner. Une véritable parenthèse de luxe et de détente au cœur de notre voyage.
