El acceso al establecimiento, pues había una fiesta en el pueblo, las señales de dirección prohibida estaban de algún modo incorrectas y no había forma de acceder. No obstante, el recepcionista del hotel al vernos en "apuros", bajó andando a buscarnos y con toda amabilidad nos trasladó al hotel.

Steile Anfahrt zum Hotel, etwas hellhörige Zimmer. Aber wir sind gut zurecht gekommen.

El desayuno podría ser mucho mejor y falta atención presente en el hotel.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Il s'agit d'un vieux bâtiment médiéval rénové avec goût. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très bien équipées. L'hôtel est situé en hauteur et permet d'avoir une fantastique vue sur le village d'Onati.
Les climatisations des chambres étaient capricieuses. La première n'a pas voulu fonctionner et la seconde réinitialisait la consigne de température au bout d'un certain temps.

En semaine les petits déjeuners se terminent à 9h30 . Pour nous qui étions en vacances un peu tôt mais nous aimons faire la grasse 🙂

Het ontbijt: er was slechts 1 soort brood en wij vonden t niet lekker. Als broodeters n teleurstelling. Verder geen pistolets of zo, wel croissants maar beperkt in aantal zodat t telkens vlug op was. Voor de rest was er wel yoghurt en kaas en charcuterie en wat fruit.

Nothing. As previously mentioned in other reviews the property is up a steep hill, you can walk but may need car if you have mobility issue.

Free tea and coffee all day and a lovely breakfast included. I can highly recommend the Hotel Torre Zumeltzegi,great value gor money. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

Fijn dat er een restaurant op locatie is. Het eten was echter ok maar niet super.

La chambre, spacieuse et très propre, a été agréablement décorée avec beaucoup de charme. La literie était excellente. Une machine à boissons a été mise à la disposition des clients à l’arrivée. Le dîner, servi avec beaucoup de professionnalisme et offrant un bon rapport qualité-prix, était très bon. Le petit-déjeuner était complet et composé de produits frais. Je recommande cet hôtel.

The location gave superb views over the town and countryside however this meant that the hotel was up a very steep and narrow road from the town and so this made the town essentially inaccessible on foot. Coffee available free at all times - very enjoyable on the terrace in the sun. Good breakfast including freshly cooked eggs. The weekday evening €25 menu was both well cooked and good value.
No extractor fan in the bathroom, limited shelf space and rather poor quality loo paper.

Algo que quiza no es problema del hotel, pero una pareja estuvo hablando/gritando hasta altas horas de la madrugada, (que no hay ningun problema), el problema es que se oia por algun conducto o se colaba en nuestra habitacion todo el ruido, y fue una noche dura

Les aménagements et la décoration moderne et le confort de la chambre (voir aussi point d'amélioration. la possibilité de restauration sur place. la propreté de l'établissement la qualité de la literie et du linge (draps et serviettes).
Accès à l'hôtel mal ou peu indiqué. Accueil en soirée pas vraiment dynamique et efficace (réceptioniste peu avenant qui ne répond pas au téléphone). Eau tout juste tiède au lavabo et la douche. Insonorisation chambre (101) / à la chambre de l'étage supérieur (bruit de pas et voix des clients). une emplacement et une disposition du buffet de petit déjeuner un peu moins exigüe est à amaliorer et serait à appréciable pour pouvoir se servir à plusieurs.
