Staff are absolutely fantastic. Such a welcoming hotel so cosy
location was known to me and very useful for my purposes
TV was limited in channels
zeer goed restaurant, zeer lekker diner, vriendelijk personeel.
The staff is amazing!! We can't say enough about how everyone was welcoming and went out of their way to assist us. The little cation is also lovely.
The bar has a live band playing until midnight on the weekends and that was a bit loud.
Location,food and lovely ambience perfect.
Have to leave.
Tutto nelle aspettative
Colazione molto buona ma alla carta...
The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean with a good shower, and the room was a good size with a sea view. The staff were great and the food was very good.
The room was very warm at night and the road outside was noisy from about 4am onwards as it is a feeder for the airport and a recycling centre so it would have been better to have had a room at the back of the hotel.
The owners position and the helpful staff
Lovely staff and very homely and good food
Just a few extra touches in the room a few cushions in the bed and maybe nice pottery cups and saucers

This is a lovely hotel in a lovely location. Thw food was great but it was the staff that really made the stay. Each and every staff member we met was friendly and extremely helpful. Id definitely recommend this hotel.
Friendly staff. Great view and Breakfast cooked fresh was delicious
Dinner - had brill and it was overdone and dry.
The place was very welcoming. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were a good size and very clean. The food was excellent both for the evening meal and for the breakfast. The breakfast fry was top quality, among the best I’ve ever had. The overall feeling was that the hotel was extremely well run and great value. We stay in the area a lot but this was our first stay at the Caislean Oir and we will definitely be back.
Nothing.
Excellent Accommodation & Excellent Food plus the local Errigal Beer 🍺
Everything was Perfect 👌

Nothing
Location, staff, hospitality and food
Basic older style room and furniture and view of roof but then to be fair, I didn’t pay for a room with a view there were none available but they looked lovely and I’m sure book up very quickly. For what we needed the room was adequate and clean
The location was outstanding and the hotel was awesome
Great food, wonderful location. We got a lovely tour of Errigal brewery which is situated behind hotel. James was very informative and we had great craic with him. The taster session of the larger was more than expected, no half measures. We will be back for sure!
All good
Location. Easy to find. Parking was directly outside the hotel . The staff were friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable with no issues. WiFi worked well. Breakfast was excellent with good choices. The salmon and scrambled egg was particularly good.
Bathroom toiletries. Using disposable small containers of shower gel etc is wasteful and adds to landfill. Please consider dispensers by the sink and in the shower/bath. We booked a table for evening dinner for 7:30 pm but were asked to postpone it on arrival to 8pm. We accepted that, but the table was not ready for a further 10 minutes at the revised time when we came down at 8pm.
Fabulous Breakfast served to me
No Rockshore Drink
Dinner was wonderful. Wonderful staff.
Lot of kids running and yelling up and down the hallways until midnight
Close proximity to Rann na feirste and to the beautiful beaches.

Super friendly staff
Staff extremely friendly, the food was excellent and the views stunning. Rooms very clean.
The bed was not as comfortable as you would expect for the price we paid. Mattress springs noisy if you sat on the bed. There are no curtains just wooden blinds that did not allow for total darkness during the brighter summer months. You are unable to swim on the beach opposite the hotel despite the photos and the hotel boasting being close to one. This is not the hotels fault of course but would be nice to know in advance if you are booking a hotel that states its opposite a beach that its not a swimming beach.
Location, room was great size, bed extremely comfortable, staff lovely, breakfast great, entertainment in the bar excellent.
I would have liked more toiletries in the room, and an iron.
Quaint but very friendly excellent staff

Location and food
Room view
The hotel is in a perfect location - plenty of parking and overlooking the water with plenty of seating and even an outside bar and what seemed like an endless supply of fish and chips for people getting takeaways. We had a standard room with no view but it was comfy and nicely decorated We had dinner which was very good, staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely would not hesitate if we were in the area again

The hotel was set in a beautiful location, the staff were great. Great breakfast wuth plenty of choice.
I would have liked a few healthier options on the bar fiood menu.
A beautiful hotel, staff so helpful & nice, nothing is a bother to them. The food is outstanding & lovely facilities. Great selection of drinks, live music & of course the beautiful scenery. Absolutely recommend staying here!

Friendly, comfortable hotel with great dining.
Excellent food, lovely room and the staff were so friendly
Convenient to Cruit golf
Everything was fab, food, staff so friendly with a real Donegal charm, even the weather was amazing. Ultimate surf & turf was unbelievable
.
Facilities, staff and location all great .....lovely part of the world.
The lovely welcome and excellent hospitality. My beer flight was a great way to start the evening. Then my food arrived…. Grade A oysters (huge and delicious), then a rare steak with crab and king prawns - my new favourite meal. A nice night’s sleep. Then kippers from Killybeg for breakfast.
All good.

Beautiful location and very easy parking. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room, en suite and all areas spotlessly clean. Great menu choices and a delicious breakfast which was served to us. Great tour of in-house Errigal Brewery too. Thank you. Highly recommend.
Very comfortable, very friendly staff. Comfortable rooms, a very good restaurant. They have their own local beer.
Family run hotel, that's always valuable according to my experience all over R. of Ireland.
I didn't like not getting one of yours lovely steaks as we were still quite full after lovely lunch elsewhere on the road in Donegal. Next visit definitely "Ultimate steak " from your menu. So far just did see it being served 🤣
Very clean and comfortable. Excellent view from our room overlooking the bay. Food was good and the on site brewed beer was fabulous
Very economical with toiletries and towels. People who are touring can not carry showere gel and shampoo. There was only one tiny bottle of each plus one bath towel and one hand towel only.
Each and every member of the staff were very friendly and chatty, The food and service was absolutely fabulous. It's not every hotel you go into and the Manager is there talking to all the guests. 10/10
La vue La chambre spacieuse et trés propre Trés bon restaurant Personnel trés accueillant

Room with sea view Friendly staff Efficient service Tour of the onsite distillery
Very friendly helpful staff. Comfortable bed & clean facilities. Breakfast was delicious & plenty of choice. Lovely sea view
We were misled by booking.com description of 1.3from Donegal when we were looking to stay in Donegal Town. The location was near Donegal Airport a further 50+ miles up the coast.
Brewery onsite Great beer, great location overlooking beaches rooms lovely with Seaviews
Nothing
Beautiful location.
Fire alarm went off for about an hour at 5am. Apparently it was false alarm but staff struggled to turn it off
Food, staff and location were all excellent
Nothing to complain about
Great food and even better customer service! Would recommend to anyone
Wonderful location and superb food. Friendly and professional staff
Right on the sea with a bar and seating area across from the hotel. This was lovely in the warm sunshine. Food was great and their home brewed beer was superb. Part of our couples motorcycle tour. No secure parking but our bikes felt safe here.

Excellent Hotel and lovely location. Staff are Excellent and really helpful. Their own Errigal beers are very good , and the seafood was second to none👌🏻
The staff were so friendly, breakfast was lovely, atmosphere in the bar was brilliant with live singers on the Friday night. Value for money for a weekend stay. The views were gorgeous from the hotel front
Nothing much, hotel is old school Donegal but it was still gorgeous
