Reviewed Sep 11, 2026The beds were comfortable. The room was a standard motel room. We did have a view of the ocean. The restaurant in the hotel was very good. The food was great.
Upon our arrival, the young lady working at the front desk was less than welcoming. It was a very wet day, we had driven 4 hours to get to hotel and the young lady couldn’t stand up to greet us or even raise her head from the computer. It was pouring rain and when entering the hotel, the rain funnelled into one spot…. Right on top of our heads. It was a disappointing start to our stay.

Motion sensor light in the bathroom would go off after a few minutes if it doesn't detect movement. Restaurant food was so-so.

Room wasn’t the cleanest. The window screen was on the floor and when we moved the chair in the room there was a pair of dirty underwear on the floor under the chair. When we called the front desk to let them know the guy who answered chuckled and said “yes boy” and never apologized or sent anybody to the room to check it out. I asked him if the room had been cleaned prior to our arrival and he said “yes, it was on the schedule to be cleaned today”. The restaurant wasn’t that good either.

arrived at 4:45 room was not ready . there was NO maps or suggestions of places to eat , THERE WAS NO INTERNET , the girl at the desk didn't know the way to the ferry because She had never taken it . Maybe she was having a bad day BUT SHE WAS EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL and actually a bit rude .

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Our room was amazing. Ironing board and iron in a little nook like area right next to the closet .. like having a side room. Table and two chairs where we sat and chatted for a couple of hours planning our route. The layout was perfect!
The fridge wasn’t cold enough. Perhaps checking it to make sure before guests arrive could work. Pen and paper is a good idea too..

It really needs some updates. The hotel is aging. Our air conditioning wasn't working properly; it would come on and go off within a few minutes. And it was so very hot and stuffy in our room. It wasn't just our room; it was also in the halls, on the third floor, and in the dining room. It was hard to enjoy our meals with it being so very hot in there.
