Days Inn by Wyndham Stouffville

Our flight was rescheduled many times, and we arrived 12 hours late; we were checked in.

At the front desk, I was told there was no bottled water and was sent to drink chlorinated tap water from the fountain, yet the next morning, that same person was handing out bottled water to another guest for their journey. That’s poor service.

Nothing bad to say. For what I required, the hotel and location were excellent. Very nice counter staff as well. Thank you for a pleasant 4 night stay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay with you in the future. 👍

Pour avoir déjà dormi dans une Days Inn sur Montréal je confirme que j'apprécie vraiment leur literie! Toujours pareil, si on apprécie le moelleux des matelas :) Le personnel est aux petits soins comme sur l'hôtel de Montréal de la même gamme.

La VMS dans la salle de bain est extrêmement bruyante et se met systématiquement lorsque la lumière s'allume, gros point noir pour les chambres avoisinantes si elles souhaitent se reposer et que l'on doit se lever tôt. Idem : la climatisation est paramétrée en automatique et se déclenche bruyamment par intervalle. Je n'ai pas pose la question mais n'ai pas trouvé comment l'arrêter Le petit déjeuner est ...plus que limite. A l'inverse de celui de Montréal où, même si le choix était limite mais très convenable et propre pour le prix, ici il est servi dans une salle peu engageante, avec très peu de choix et les tables non nettoyées entre chaque client ...a revoir!

I dont know how safe the area is. Our room looked nice and was clean. The bed was horrible...aweful. mattress- we rolled into the middle. My hips hurt because i could feel the hard frame. We had to move rooms cause the fridge didnt work. We were traveling with food due to allergies so we needed the fridge. Outlets on lamps didnt work for our phone chargers. Wasnt a great stay. Id actually like to hear from someone regarding a refund. Told all this to staff , they said oh, and sorry 🤷‍♀️

The bed!!!!!!! The outlets!!!!! The fact that no one offered any refund or discount.

No elevator in building. I had my baby with me and no one offered to help with bags since I was unable to bring a stroller in.

Good friendly service. Good price and location. Updated clean rooms with a very large TV ! Very comfy bed. Breakfast from 7 to 11 was great. Good variety.

Hallway carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed for days. Flooring in the room was uneven with gaps for dirt to build up. Towels felt damp. Bathroom fan was very loud. To turn the light on at night to use the toilet it would wake up other guest.

The washroom and bathtub was visibly dirty.

Best little boutique in the area . Extremely clean , well maintained , fabulous customer service . I had trouble figuring out the TV ,the staff was right there to help and made it super easy ! Excellent location to amenities! Highly recommend - great value for the money

I didn't like the smell on the hallway, i think that's the carpet needs to be clean or replace.. the breakfast is ok but i hope there's more option for protein. And one more thing i ask to refill the conditioner but i think they forgot, im glad bring my own.

I asked twice within our three day stay to have the toilet seat fix, this did not happen. Was disappointed that a simple request could not be taken care of. The 2nd day, cleaning did not take place until after 5pm, although we did not really need it and we were in for the night.

Customer service was very helpful

The rooms were not what the photos look like. They are extremely small, everything smelled, our sheets were dirty, the shower didn't work, and we needed someone to come fix the TV as it wouldn't work.

The staff helped with my luggage as there was no elevator available. Staff are courteous and friendly and always available to support customers.

Always have water bottles available to purchase.

Location was excellent

First the front desk was not very good at checking people in. I couldn’t use my debit card and then he told me my credit card was declined when it wasn’t. I had to go into my credit information to prove it had been approved when all he had to do was print the receipt out on the debit machine. After half an hour at front desk checking in we go to our room which was decent. We found mouse droppings on the bedside table and by the window and some type of dead bugs on the floor, mold in the bathroom. The breakfast was crap. Room needs a good deep cleaning.

Breakfast. For seniors we like bananas. Even Mom's wirh little ones. Its hard to eat apples. It was all carbs unfortunately so I had coffee and juice and ate out. The hallway smelled. Time to steam clean. First thing i noticed on ground floor. Staff were great. Parking lot was icy. It was hard to get to my car

Loved the waffle machine. Would have preferred + warm eggs instead of cold hard-boiled, but it was OK.

Guests near to my room were extremely noisy. Laughing and carrying on in hallway at various points throughout the night. Not the hotel's fault but perhaps some kind of hallway camera monitoring would be appropriate.

Absolutely nothing. The hotel is nasty. The photos on line are 100 percent misleading.

The building needs to be demolished. Is old and deteriorating, has a strong smell of body odour that hits you as you first walk in. The carpets are not vacuumed, the water station looked dirty, dusty and unkept. The walls and doors have grime on them and the bathroom floors' grout looks disgusting. We tried to cancel our reservation once we saw all that but couldn't. There were 4 of us in the party and had two request extra bath towels because only 2 were provided. The covers on one bed had fresh blood on them, we had to ask that they be removed. The breakfast provided is a joke, all unhealthy items except for the hard boiled eggs. The coffee is bitter and gross. Front and back of building looks unkept with old mattresses on the ground.

The first night wasn't good at all. I was in room 226 and the room next to me 224 had some guy that was on drugs and wouldn't be quiet and kept laughing loudly and clapping at random times... Didn't stop until 3am... And the guy at the front desk was helpful and tried to get the guy to answer his phone and knocked on his door but I knew the guy wouldn't stop. I don't understand how he even got into the hotel and got himself a room to begin with... I wasn't happy at all!! It was nice of the worker to offer one of the rooms across the hall to sleep in there for one night until the intoxicated guy checked out the next morning but he shouldn't have been allowed inside at all!! Also there were a group of Indians in one of the rooms down the hall close to the stairs leading to the front lobby and were really loud and disrespectful of the people around them.. I don't care if nobody was in the rooms beside them. They should know to be quiet after 11pm!! My last two nights went pretty decent but overall the first night just made it not a good stay. I'm not sure if I will come back honestly. The pillows absolutely suck and the sheets on the bed aren't big enough and tend to move around a lot. Considering this hotel went through renovations years ago you would think they would upgrade the bed sheets and pillows... But that's what you get when you have cheap owners. I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone that I know. Days Inn should be ashamed of themselves. Also the woman who works during the day isn't very friendly and doesn't talk much. She's very short with her answers and never seems happy being there. If you work in customer service at least have the decency to smile more and actually chat with the customers... Never again will I stay here.

I like that it was in Stouffville where I needed to be and it was the only one there

We had issues with two of the three rooms that I got moved to including getting moved at 10:00 p.m. at night

There had been significant snowfall and the parking lot had not had any snow removal when we got there and it still hadn’t been plowed the next morning. That was very dangerous.

This is my second times staying this hotel. I asked twice for second floor, even yesterday was slow and the front desk keeps giving me the first floor. And the TV also doesn't work properly. won't come back any more.

C'est une belle place pour séjourner. L'accueil est chaleureux. Les chambres sont propres et il y a le nécessaire. Le petit déjeuner est basique et correct. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Only stayed one night, but everything was perfect. Smooth check-in, quiet room, and fairly okay breakfast. Would definitely come back.

The rear exit door to the building had a broken lock meaning that the building was not secure. The vending machine was not working.

Cost-effective place

I stayed at this property before. The room was clean and pleasant to stay in. it has a great location close to lots of different restaurants bars, as well as other storefronts, including an LCBO just down the street from it the staff are very polite and helpful. Didn’t check out the breakfast. We checked out before there’s plenty of parking and it’s well lit.

Breakfast started too late so not able to take advantage of free breakfast.

TV set up with multiple remotes was completely ridiculous Heater/air-conditioner was unplugged and because the plug-in was broken

I arrived late on Thursday and discovered that the shower drain wasn’t working. I called the front desk, and while they couldn’t fix it right away, they provided a quick temporary solution by placing a door stopper to keep the drain open. I was told the issue would be fixed the next day. When I returned the following day, the door stopper was gone, and the drain was still not working. After waiting 45 minutes for assistance—after a 15-hour work shift—I was told it would be repaired the next day. Unfortunately, it never was. The water continued to pool in the shower, creating a gross, unpleasant experience. Overall, the issue was never resolved, and it was extremely frustrating.

Room was fine for a one night stay. Desk clerk was nice, helped us with the tv. A bit pricier than hotels near 404 but this was a better location for us.
