Todo muy limpio, cómodo y con lo necesario para pasar una buena estancia.

Posizione centralissima, ma con diversi parcheggi a pagamento nelle vicinanze. La zona di sera, è silenziosa. Piacevole terrazza con piscina all'ultimo piano. Buona la colazione.

Huone oli todella pimeä ja kulunut, ei vastannut kuvia. Parveke todella pieni, ei näkymää kuin tienristykseen. Kylpyhuone pieni ja sinne sisäänpääsy vaikea. Ilmastointilaite erittäin äänekäs. Pahinta oli katumeteli, joka jatkui läpi yön ja viereisen rakennustyömaan meteli, joka alkoi aamuseitsemältä. Hinta-laatusuhde ei ollut kohdillaan.

I have been asking for water for the room for 5 days. In the evening apparently no one can provide this as they have no housekeeping. They say they will provide in the morning and then they never do. Shame as otherwise good place.

La ubicción es excelente, cerca de la zona del puerto, de bares y restaurantes y de paradas de taxis y autobuses. La piscina de arriba y su cafetería están muy bien para momentos de relax. El desayuno buffet es de calidad.

La habitación estaba ubicada en una zona donde la ventana interior daba a un patio interior y un pasillo que quedaban a la altura de la ventana, restando algo de intimidad.

Le ménage pourrait être amélioré. Petit bémol pour le restaurant sur la terrasse qui ne sert plus à manger à partir de 21h.

It is a nice hotel and good aervices

Good quality for the price! Bed was comfortable. Most staff members were quite friendly and helpful (particularly front desk staff). Excellent and convenient location - easy walking to multiple restaurants and shops, and reasonable Bolt rides to trailheads. We liked the rooftop area and our own balcony as well. Staff provided us with breakfast boxes since we left before the buffet opened all but one of the days.

Would have preferred the breakfast to open earlier. We only got to enjoy it once out of the entire week, as we left before 7:30 for hiking. The woman at the breakfast buffet asking for my room number was quite rude - approaching me as though I did not belong. The items in the breakfast box were a bit disappointing. Our room/bathroom were tight (small).

Right the heart of old town, you have access to everything in less than 10 mn by foot - the ocean, the harbor, the cable cars. Very calm, clean room. Friendly team. One raise the bar: would have been great to be advised that the mini fridge only works when the hotel key is left in. SO please ask them when you check in to make sure you can use the mini fridge. Breakfast was ok. AC worked well. Would stay there again for sure! The price was decent - Book direct.

This is the only hotel we keep returning to. The location is perfect. The staff on reception and in the bar and breakfast area are really friendly The bonus is the roof terrace which is magical at night when the little lights are turned lit on the mountain side. We will keep returning.

The position was perfect for visiting the centre of Funchal

The bedroom was quite small and sadly no balcony area to sit outside.

We were having a really nice time at The Hotel Madeira, until we were locked out of our room on the last night. There was a malfunction of the door key, as a result we spent a very uncomfortable night in the Lounge as the Hotel doesnt have twenty four reception and no emergency contact no. It took three emails to get any kind of apology and a paltry offer of a one night stay to make up for our spoiled holiday.

Only 1 person at reception and 3 in the back office on computers not helping, if they attended to customers it could have helped with baggage or check ins to speed things up. The staff were lovely but could of utilised them all to hurry things up at times in reception.

The location is perfect, central and in the heart of the old town. The hotel was lovely, breakfast was good and exactly what we needed. The pool was small but fine to dip in. The bar staff were lovely.

We thought we had booked for 3 nights but actually only booked 2. This was our fault completely but we received a call from the hotel whilst we were out saying we should have checked out 2hrs prior. I apologised that we had made a mistake with our booking but the staff member was rude, would not listen to my apology and told us we needed to return to the hotel immediately. He booked us in for an extra night but his attitude was poor and very unfriendly.

We chose Hotel Atlee for our anniversary trip to Madeira, and it exceeded every expectation. Breakfast was a real highlight — excellent variety and everything tasted fantastic. We also loved that the hotel organizes entertainment for guests; we happened to catch a lovely live music evening during our stay. The location is truly unbeatable. Everything is within easy walking distance: the central market is just 5 minutes away (a fascinating spot, highly recommend a visit), the cable car is about 15 minutes on foot, and the promenade with a wonderful beer spot is only 2 minutes away. Coincidentally, a rally race was taking place on the island during our visit and many roads were closed, but thanks to the hotel’s central location we could still explore the whole center of Funchal on foot, reaching anywhere within about 15 minutes. Right below the hotel there’s a beautiful green park with incredible plants and a charming café tucked under the trees — a lovely spot to unwind. The pool and rooftop deserve special mention. The pool is spotlessly clean, and swimming there with sweeping views over Funchal was a real pleasure. The rooftop bar serves great cocktails at very reasonable prices, along with delicious food. Staff were exceptional throughout our stay — attentive, warm, and always ready to help with anything, including arranging internal tours with convenient pickup right from the hotel entrance. We also appreciated having both a comfortable workspace and beautiful areas to relax, making it a great choice for freelancers or anyone who wants to combine work and leisure. An outstanding hotel in every respect — we’ll definitely return!

Very conveniently located for a first visit to Funchal, next to the Municipal Garden and near to all the main sites of tourists interest. The staff, across the board, were very friendly and helpful. There were nice breakfast choices, and a low-key bar with a friendly server next to the pool on the roof.

The plumbing could stand to be freshened up a little; leaky shower hose, that sort of thing.

We booked a TWIN room but they allocated a double room. They were only able to change our room on the 2nd night.

Friendly staff at the rooftop bar who made us all feel so welcome, small swimming pool which is great for cooling down during the heatwave, very centrally located.

Bedrooms need a little updating

The location was great, and the underground parking, at a modest extra cost, was very good. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was also good.

We were unlucky with the room we were allocated, as it was internal, looking over a communal patio area. We didn't feel we could open the curtains while in the room,, because it was overlooked. The bathroom also had a bad odour due to an issue with the drainage.

Refrigerador, não estava funcionando, eles trocaram, mas qdo vc tira o cartão pra sair do quarto desliga tudo , até a frigobar, e qdo vc chega as coisas no frigobar não estão geladas, eu deixei meu remédio e foi um perigo pois não ficou em temperatura fresca o tempo todo.

Très bon emplacement dans le centre de Funchal. Le parking de l'hôtel n'étant pas disponible, nous avons trouvé un parking public près de l'hôtel à un prix attractif. Le petit déjeuner est très correct ! la chambre et son tout petit balcon étaient bien.

La salle de bain aurait pu être un peu plus spacieuse avec de quoi ranger les articles de toilette.

La position centrale de l hôtel on peut tout faire à pieds positionner en centre ville et pourtant très calme la gentillesse du personnel vraiment au top le roof top sympa piscine pas très grande mais pour se rafraîchir c est assez le petit déjeuner est hyper complet il y a tout des crudités en passant par la viande le fromage les fruits céréales lait café confitures yaourts bref j en oublie la moitié rien ne manque et toujours un personnel discret efficace et sympathique .

Die Rezeption war nicht sehr freundlich, auch nicht hilfreich. Es gab nicht mal einen Stadtplan, geschweige denn Prospekte mit Ausflugs-/Besichtigungsvorschlägen. Sehr kleines Zimmer.

Muito próximo do centro da cidade. Ficamos em regime com pequeno almoço e tinham bastante variedade, era um bom início de manhã. Tínhamos parque privado (com custo) que nos ajudou muito.

Just got back from Hotel Madeira after a ten night stay. We were met at reception by Luis who was very friendly and welcoming, as he remained throughout our stay. The hotel has an excellent location and is within easy walking distance of Funchal’s bars, restaurants and shops. On the rooftop is the pool and bar which has a laid back vibe and is served by the friendly and humorous Elvio. The hotel in places is in need of a bit of a touch up, such as the worn carpet mostly throughout, but the new restaurant which is currently under construction is hopefully a sign of major investment. Would definitely return.

A localização é excelente, perto de tudo. Tem garagem (necessita reserva previa com custo adicional), num edifício muito próximo, o que facilita para aluguer de carro. Pequeno-almoço bastante bom, mas perto do final do horário já nao havia reposição de mais material. Terraço com piscina e bar muito agradável.

Quarto ok, limpo e modernizado, mas ligeiramente pequeno. Alguns colaboradores mostram simpatia e disponibilidade, outros nem por isso.

This hotel is in a great location, we got around easily. Comfortable rooms. Nice and friendly staff. The rooftop pool was great, with amazing view. Next to it, you will find the panorama terrace, with delicious food and good drinks. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Gostei muito da experiência no Hotel Madeira. Destaco sobretudo a simpatia e disponibilidade da equipa, sempre atenta e prestável, bem como a limpeza e o conforto das instalações. A localização também é excelente, permitindo deslocações fáceis e tornando a estadia muito prática e agradável. No geral, senti-me muito bem recebido e foi uma experiência que certamente recomendaria.

No geral, a estadia foi agradável, mas senti que o pequeno-almoço poderia ter mais variedade. As opções disponíveis eram um pouco limitadas, especialmente para quem gosta de ter alternativas diferentes durante a manhã. Foi esse o principal ponto que não correspondeu totalmente às minhas expectativas.

We had a great family stay at this hotel all the facilities were spot on and the staff lovely , even before we arrived the hotel helped arrange our excursions, it is in a very central location and easy to get around, the snack bar on the roof is a nice touch and the rooms serve a purpose the breakfast is basic but has everything needed, would Highly recommend staying here, a big shout out to Caesar on reception who sorted excursions and restaurants for us

Расположение шикарное, лучше и не придумаешь, три минуты и ты на набережной с миллион кафе, ресторанов, рядом порт. Все основные мероприятия проходят недалеко, но в отеле достаточно тихо. Расположение просто идеальное. Рядом торговый центр, кафе, рестораны и остановка общественного транспорта. Номер довольно простой, но и придраться особое не к чему, было все необходимое, чисто, аккуратно. Завтрак достаточно хороший, кофе хороший, я всегда уходила сытая и было вкусно. Персонал на ресепшен прекрасный мне попался на заселении, при выселении был другой, чуть менее приветливый.

Номер слегка подустал, за такую стоимость хочется более современный вариант, некоторая мебель нуждается в обновлении, например, столик был пошарпан. Хотелось бы , чтобы за такую стоимость пополняли бутылки с водой каждый день, а не только при заселении.

Wir wurden vorab nicht über die Parkplatzsituation informiert, genauso wie zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung keine Informationen zu den stattfindenden Handwerksarbeiten gegeben wurden. Zimmer waren eher schlicht und nur teilweise erneuert.

Renovation work - a little noisy but this is only temporary so that Hotel can offer half board option in the future. Would have preferred additional 2nd chair in room.

Beliggenheten var helt super. Stille og rolig.

Personalet fremstod uinteresserte, sa sjelden eller aldri hei eller hade når vi kom og gikk. Rengjøring av rom var delvis fraværende og vi måtte be om reine håndklær seint på ettermiddagen fordi ingen hadde vært der og hverken reid opp senga, tatt søppel eller byttet håndklær. Ingen knagg til å henge opp jakker. Det står i beskrivelsen at bassenget er for kun voksne, men vi opplevde barn der og ingen fra personalet sa fra om dette. Ved frokosten var det sjeldent brød, kun rundstykker eller croissant, og når vi ba om påfyll av brød så fikk vi beskjed om at det var tomt. Det er greit at det kan gå tomt ved et uhell, men ikke hver morgen.

Die Lage war Top. Es war sauber und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Saubere Zimmer und ein Frühstück das ausreichend ist auch wenn ein etwas besserer Kaffeeautomat das ganze aufwerten würde.

DIe Lage meines Zimmer auf die Hinterseite einer schmalen Gasse die Nachts von Obdachlosen genutzt wurde war teilweise etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig von der Geräuschkulisse. Es wird auch gerade Renoviert und daher im Frühstücksbereich und frei zugänglichen Bereich etwas Staubig und Laut während der Arbeiten.

Location was great. When we arrived, the first man on reception was friendly, nice and helpful. The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a pool and bar on the roof terrace that looked very nice. Breakfast was nice but wasn't always well stocked.

The room was pretty small - fine for a couple of nights but wouldn't have been ideal for a longer stay. We didn't have towels in the bathroom when we arrived, mentioned it to reception and we didn't get them until the next day so we had to use the pool towels. The tea and coffee didn't get replenished daily.

Prior to our trip taking place we were offered the option of changing hotels because of the building works in the vicinity. We are so pleased we decided to stick with the original booking as the hotel was central and the building works did not impact on us at all. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, rooms comfortable and very clean and the roof terrace was a real gem with lovely Lite Bite Menu ti choose from. Breakfast also had everything we needed with a good choice so we were never disappointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.
