Sagalassos Lodge & Spa Hotel

Langs buiten lijkt het hotel verouderd, ook de inkom komt wat oubollig over. Maar de eerste indruk van het hotel als je toekomt, klopt niet met de rest. De kamers zijn vernieuwd en helemaal in orde. De badkamer is klein maar vernieuwd en proper. De airco op de kamer werkt goed. Het buitenzwembad is heel proper. We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het binnenzwembad en de sauna maar ook dat zag er zeer proper uit. De wifi is goed. Het personeel spreekt heel weinig Engels (met uitzondering van degene die in- en uitcheckt) maar is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt en het avondeten (bij ons was er Turks buffet) zijn lekker. Het was zalig en rustig dineren buiten naast het zwembad. Je kan gratis parkeren op de parking van het hotel. Rustig gelegen in een prachtige omgeving, met de bergen errond. We hebben het hotel gekozen omdat dit het enige hotel in de onmiddellijke omgeving van Sagalassos was zodat we vroeg in de voormiddag aan ons bezoek aan Sagalassos konden beginnen maar we hebben er geen spijt van, het hotel is een aanrader.

Beter jammer dat de poolbar aan het buitenzwembad niet open was. Het was in de late namiddag een beetje zoeken binnen naar personeel binnen om drank te bestellen voor aan het zwembad.

Location was perfect to visit the ancient ruins, I think it’s the closest hotel. I didn’t have a car so the hotel manager took to the site and collected me. I couldn’t ask for more. Also pool ara is clean and tranquil and the restaurant serves excellent food.

Het eten was heel lekker, personeel vriendelijk en de ligging was fantastisch! We hebben genoten van de sauna en de hammam.

Het zwembadwater was heel fris en voor mij te koud, zelfs na een dag in de zon.

Das Personal im Restaurant war nicht sehr zuvorkommend.

Das Hotel ist einfach klasse. Das gesamte Personal war super nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Entfernung nach Sagalassos waren ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto und daher liegt das Hotel ideal. Das Zimmer war gross und es war alles vorhanden was man brauchte. Auch der Pool war toll und wir konnten uns zwischendurch dort ein bisschen erholen. Das Frühstück war einfach nur der Hammer, eine grosse Auswahl und alles sehr schmackhaft und auch das Abendessen (a la carte) war sehr lecker.

Il personale, fin dal prima accesso, è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile ad informarci sull'organizzazione della struttura e ad accogliere le nostre richieste. La struttura si trova in una zona tranquilla, perfetta per una pausa di relax dal caos della città, a meno di 10 minuti in auto dal bellissimo sito archeologico di Sagalassos. Abbiamo avuto modo di provare le due piscine presenti, la sauna e l'hammam, e una maschera viso offertaci dalla simpaticissima responsabile dell'area spa. Anche la colazione, a buffet, ci ha stupito in positivo, con prodotti locali e freschissimi. Siamo stati estremamente dispiaciuti di aver soggiornato una sola notte. Sicuramente, durante il prossimo viaggio in Turchia, vorremo farvi ritorno!

Problème avec le Wifi qui n'a pas fonctionné de.notre sejour malgré les affirmations du personnel sur le redémarrage en cours Diner un peu cher 950 TL au même prix pour les enfants de 12 a 17 ans.

La struttura è estremamente pulita. Ci hanno fatto trovare gli accappatoi imbustati con fiocchetti rosa e azzurri per distinguere le taglie. La cena al buffet a Lt 950 era veramente buona, varia e con materie prime locali di qualità L'hotel è a 9 minuti di auto dal sito archeologico e da alcune camere è possibile vederlo in lontananza.

Solo 4 cose che migliorerebbero l'hotel rendendolo decisamente più chic: La moquette ovunque, è ormai totalmente fuori moda. Via i runner dai letti Eliminare alcuni quadri fotografici dai corridoi

Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels waren super freundlich, sprach sehr gut Englisch an der Rezeption, auch das restliche Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, mussten aber über Smartphone kommunizieren. Das Büfett am Abend (980 TL) war sehr vielfältig, genauso das im Preis inbegriffene leckere Frühstück. Alles wirkte frisch renoviert und war super sauber.

Отличный персонал и особенно управляющий. Следит, чтобы каждому клиенту было комфортно. Отличный завтрак и ужин - наверное лучший в Турции.

Кондиционер без фреона и нельзя использовать как вентилятор при открытом окне. Ночь была чистое мучение. Мы уехали на 2 часа раньше чем планировали, чтобы не умереть от жары. Бассейн не работает до окончания завтрака - и там не возможно было охладиться.

The location, comfort, big rooms and nice restaurant. Not to mention the view of the surrounding mountains!

The hotel is in a fantastic location for if visiting the Sagalassos ruins. The food was very good.

It was very difficult to find a member of bar staff. In the end gave up having to keep walking to the reception to ask them to find someone. This somewhat ruined what would have been a pleasant evening.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und ausreichend. Leider konnten wir im Restaurant nicht zu Abend essen weil es geschlossen war. Ich denke wir waren einfach zu wenig Gäste und da konnte ich das verstehen. Aber in der Nähe konnten wir in einem Park essen. Wir sind dieses Jahr im September da und da wurde uns bereits zugesichert das das Restaurant geöffnet ist. :-)

Es gab nichts zu beanstanden. Wir freuen uns bereits auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt am 28.09.2026 und weil es so nett war bringen wir diesmal noch Freunde mit.

Perfect place to stay for a visit to the ancient city of Sagalassos! Very kind and attentive staff, spacious and clean rooms with beautiful views. Delicious breakfast buffet (included) and dinner buffet (extra charge).

The hotel offers everything you need for a great stay in Sagalassos. The double bed is huge and very comfortable. Besides, the staff are gentle and the buffet, excellent.

The breakfast could offer something different from the usual - and good, of course - Turkish breakfast. It lacks maybe a hint of sophistication that the buffet offered instead.

Very nice hotel so close to the Sagalassos site. Nice pool. Staff were very helpful. Dinner and breakfast were good.

Everything was fine.

The room was clean, large, and very comfortable. The pools were nice, the staff were helpful and arranged laundry cleaning for us on short notice, and the location was beautiful. Breakfast was also good and started at 0730.

The hotel is less than a 10-minute drive from the stunning archaeological site of Sagalassos, set in beautiful mountain scenery. With luck, this could be a pleasant hotel.

After 10 minutes in my room, I noticed that lots of swallows kept almost crashing into the window, it was quite frightening. Inspecting the balcony, I found two swallows nests at the top of the balcony. The man at Reception was obviously put out when I requested a change of room. No apology for what was surely a known problem. Walking into the "new" room, I immediately noticed a strong acrid smell of stale cigarette smoke. When I mentioned this, I was told the hotel was no-smoking. Both members of staff at the reception desk had only rudimentary English, making it impossible to explain politely that this was unacceptable. So, I spent two nights in a room that was quite clearly reserved for smokers. The smell was awful. There was a small notice in the furthest corner of the room "Thank you for not smoking". Ha, ha. Pre-season, the hotel was virtually empty, so there can't have been a shortage of no-smoking rooms available. The room was utterly unacceptable. But what proof do I have that the room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke?

Workers are amazing kind, spa was nice. We definitely gonna visit again.

Sorpresona! un hotel a 5 stelle al prezzo di un B&B. Cosa dire di più? Tutto bellissimo, nuovissima costruzione, molto ben arredata. ottimo il confort generale. Ottima prima colazione. Da restarci più a lungo!

Kennen viele antike Stätten in der Türkei. Sagalassos ist ein highlight. Noch toller in Kombination mit der Lodge. Ein wunderschöner Ort zum Entspannen vom Kraxeln in Ruinen. Tolle Massage im Hamam und schöne Aussicht von Zimmern, Bar, Terrasse.

I came by as a halfway stop on a drive down from Cappadocia (7 hrs) to the coast (Antalya is a couple more hours away). The Lodge is just 4km from the ancient city of Sagalossos, which proved spectacular, and worth the trip. I was tired after my long drive and the Lodge has both an indoor and an outdoor pool (both a good size), and a sauna -- which they fired up for me. It was the perfect way to unwind, followed by a very good dinner in their restaurant. (The breakfast buffet was also excellent.) As for the staff, they were exceptionally nice -- although unlike elsewhere in my travels through Turkey, not a lot of English fluency here.

Die Aussicht übers Tal ist wunderschön, und das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Abendessen und Frühstück waren lecker und reichhaltig. Der Wellnessbereich mit Innenpool, Hamam und Sauna sind sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der Raum bei der Bar mit brennendem Kaminfeuer ist recht gemütlich und ebenfalls aussichtsreich.

Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer war unseres Erachtens stellenweise zweifelhaft. Möglicherweise würde ein Ersatz der Spannteppiche durch einen pflegeleichteren Bodenbelag die Situation erheblich verbessern.

Mooi hotel in de bergen vlakbij sagalassos ruïnes. Vriendelijke mensen. Fijne sauna en binnenzwembad. Het buitenzwembad en terras zag er ook mooi uit. Ruime kamer met een prima bed en goede douche. Ontbijt viel wat tegen (was ivm weinig mensen ook geen buffet).

Это был шикарный короткий отдых в уединении! Приехали вдвоем на выходные, т.к. погода в Анталье была прохладная и дождливая и этот отель оказался как нельзя лучше 👍 Расположение в горах гарантирует чистый воздух, в самом отеле очень чисто и тепло, кондиционер в номере очень мощный 👍 Кроме того в номере есть всё необходимое, включая халаты, тапочки, воду, чайник и пр. Также в ванной теплые полы и полотенцесушитель! Большую часть времени мы провели в спа зоне. Отличный чистый бассейн, шикарный хамам и в меру теплая сауна. 3 часа мы там были одни, т к в январе туристов почти нет 😊 Утром перед завтраком даже воспользовались беговой дорожкой 👍Персонал отель максимально дружелюбный. Все! Всё объяснили, показали, не беспокоили, но всегда были на связи и готовы помочь. Вечером очень уютно посидеть в баре возле живого огня в камине 😍 Рядом есть много мест погулять и подышать горным воздухом. В феврале отель закрывается на месяц, поэтому январь - идеальное время для посещения если хотите уюта и уединения!

The staff were amazingly nice and kind, especially as we were the only guests one day, which felt a bit strange. Two lovely cats were roaming around. The location has a nice, peaceful atmosphere.

The entire spa area was closed due to renovation. This should have been communicated before the booking. We were very disappointed, as the spa was the main reason why we chose this hotel for a two-night stay. There was no alternative spa facility available nearby.

We were visiting the ruined city of Sagalassos and the location of the hotel was literally a few minutes away. The hotel was very welcoming. All the staff looked after us , especially the manager . We used both the pool and the hamman which were excellent. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the food was superb.

Excellent location, staff very friendly and helpful. Best suited to have a car to explore the countryside and the very many archaeological sites. The rooms were a good size and very clean.

Exquisite. The omelettes were delicious. Local Cheeses, a variety of olives, freshly baked bread, local jams- a great start to the day.

It really is hard to fault this hotel. We were pleased with everything, and we are quite hard to please!

Absolutamente todo! Llegamos super tarde y nos ofrecieron una cena aun cuando todas las cocinas estaban cerradas! La ubicacion es de camino a Sagalassos y tiene unas vistas alucinantes desde el bar donde sirven el desayuno (variedad dulce, salado, panificados, omelete recien hecho y a nuestro gusto). Fuimos fuera de temporada por lo que no usamos la piscina pero se veia fenomenal! Amé descubrir este lugar para nuestro roadtrip y el alojamiento superó nuestras expectativas!

Excellent hotel for exploring the nearby Sagalassos ruins - spacious rooms with incredible views of the surrounding mountains, great lounge with a fire place. Great breakfast with lots of variety. It’s designed for big tour groups but in November, we practically found the place to ourselves with few other travelers and really enjoyed its peaceful ambience. Thank you!

Because it was the end of season, the restaurant only had a buffet for dinner which was disappointing although the food was fine. I am just not a fan of buffets. The views from my room was lovely and its proximity to Sagalossos was a bonus.

One of the reasons, I chose this hotel was because of its spa. I had checked before I book and there were "green checkmarks" beside all the listed amenities. However, when we got there, the spa was closed and it was not possible to get a massage or anything else that had been listed as available. I understand it is the end of the season but it would have been appropriate to note that many of the services on the website would not be available.

Such a fantastic place to spend a few days when visiting Sagalassos. Highly recommened: the food (breakfast and dinner) is great, staff is nice and the view from the balcony is splendid. Would love to visit the place again.

Établissement proche du site antique (environ 5 km), à 1300 m d’altitude. Belle piscine. Grandes chambres, bonne literie, propreté irréprochable. Excellents petit-déjeuner et dîner (buffet) avec un grand choix de plats frais et locaux, bon vin. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Parking. Accueil absolument charmant (et francophone).

Tout était très bien ! Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir prévu de rester un jour de plus.

My husband and I stayed for two nights and absolutely loved the Sagalassos Lodge and Spa. The room was super comfortable, the staff were all lovely, friendly, helpful, and professional, and the food was exceptionally good. The facilities are excellent, the pools are both lovely and the spa is amazing. What stood out as well was the informal and relaxed atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they went out of their way to help. We didn’t have a car so they very kindly gave us lifts to Sagalassos (which is a whole other amazing experience) as well as to the bus on our last morning. A truly exceptional experience that was also very reasonably priced.
