Robyn's Motel

Nous sommes restés une nuit. Nous étions de passage seulement dans la région entre deux destinations. L'endroit était propre. Les lits confortables. La salle de bain, quoique petite, était très fonctionnelle et propre. Pour un arrêt d'une nuit, je recommande l'endroit. Même s'il se trouve à proximité d'une route passante, où la circulation roule vite, les lieux sont bien isolés, et le vitrage isole bien de l'achalandage (qui n'est pas si dense la nuit...). Un plus pour nous était la possibilité d'ouvrir la fenêtre dans la salle de bain. Ceci nous a permis d'éviter le bruit que fait la climatisation, qui était très efficace. Les draps, et les lits (deux doubles) étaient confortables et propres.

L'esthétique générale du mobilier et le besoin de rafraichir la peinture... La table d'appoint en plastique, avec sa chaise en métal où se trouvait le micro-ondes, mériterait d'être remplacée par du vrai mobilier. Aussi, le Wi-Fi avait quelques difficultés à fonctionner... La cafetière n'était pas fonctionnelle... Heureusement que nous avions notre petit brûleur de camping et notre propre cafetière pour le café du matin... J'aurais aussi aimé qu'il y ait plus de crochets dans la salle de bain, et dans la chambre. Une lacune facile à régler... 😉

Room looked newly renovated. Everything was clean and in very good condition.

Robyn's Motel was literally down the street from the location of my family member's wedding. I was able to get there in under 10 minutes. The refrigerator kept all my breakfast items fresh. The TV was terrific.

I have a hip injury and the toilet was a bit low for me to sit down comfortably. I found the air conditioning a bit chilly but was able to adjust it to a tolerable temperature.

Good location, very clean.

Room was a little small, AC unit was rather noisy.

Well kept motel with nice staff.

The staff/owner at Robyn's are very welcoming and polite. The room was perfect and very clean. My husband who is a smoker was told they had smoking rooms which surprised us both. He did not smoke in the room as he does not smoke in our home but to be able to choose was nice. I would and do recommend this establishment to anyone who askes a good place to stay.

Robyn's Motel is in a very convenient location in Peterborough (on Highway 7). The room was spotless and the motel appears to be well maintained. Bed was super comfortable. This motel is excellent value. If you are going to be arriving late, I recommend contacting the motel ahead of time as the office closes at 9:30 p.m.

Exceptionally clean, bright, and comfortable. Easy to spot several recent upgrades. The small refrigerator and microwave are a big plus. Other great reviews were what made the choice for us and they were right.

Absolutely nothing we didn't like. The beds are very comfortable, the furniture is new and sturdy ' something not usually found in a motel. It felt very safe and secure.

There was smokey/damp smell in the room when we entered. There was no drinking water provided. The tap water had metal smell and flavor and could not be consumed.

I really appreciated that the shower had a seat! Very helpful after a long day on your feet.

My daughter and I are homeless and I paid in advance for our stay. We were denied our room as our uber driver had their dog with them. Refund took a week to process and we were forced to pay a lot more than expected at another hotel. The business owner was very ignorant and rude.

The room was a good size and very clean. The heating unit worked well so we were nice and warm. The small fridge and folding table were very useful as we were travelling with some food for the following day. We arrived slightly after check-out closed due to poor weather and bad road conditions during our travels. Staff were very accommodating of our late arrival. We stayed at the motel less than 12 hours (basically we just slept there enroute to a sports tournament early the next morning) but we slept well. Whilte the motel on a highway, we were not bothered by highway noise. The motel was not far from a Tim Horton's for the next morning.

Everything was great. A shampoo/conditioner/bodywash dispenser in the shower is always handy to have and could be a good future addition.

I prefer small motels over chain hotels and Robyn's motel was very clean, updated bathrooms and comfortable beds. It was perfectly located on our way to Quebec and close to town which was very convenient for dinner and getting some essentials for our trip. We ate at One Eyed Jack for dinner and had one of my best meals ever. (Spicy Sausage Pasta) We stayed a 2nd night on our way home and had breakfast at Ellie's Diner. Excellent breakfast and friendliest service!! Peterborough was a very friendly and welcoming town!

Robyn's was a very good place to sleep, travelling from Guelph to the Ottawa Valley. It is set back from the highway and offered less traffic noises. There was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Our room was renovated, large and very clean.

Staff was friendly and accommodating to my late arrival. I was welcomed right away and felt safe and comfortable. In-room coffee maker with creamer was a perfect start to my early morning departure. The bed was beyond comfortable!

Everything was perfect for one evening of sleep and a quick shower.
