Great location, safe and very clean.

Wish the mattresses on the beds were actual twin mattress and not a thin one like they have.

The design of the villa is cool. The location is amazing (very very close to Hot Water Beach).

The root of the villa is sort of blocking some area of the bed upstair.

The holiday park is full of things for the whole family with very friendly staff. There is a large bouncing pillow, large heated pool, soak pool/spa, dining/lounge area with a tv and sky remote and a playground. I loved how there were a lot of toilets and shower facilities for all to share. There is also a pizzeria, fish n chips shop, ice cream shop, a vending machine and a vending machine on site. The outdoor dining area in between the pizzeria and food prep area/kitchen is really beautiful at night. You can watch the kids swim as you eat on the outdoor picnic tables accompanied by the fairy lights. Hot water beach is only a 1 minute drive/5 min walk away from the holiday park which is great. Cathedral Cove is a 10 min drive away (:

The only thing I would change is the kids playground. It must be part of the old area of the park so it is a little hidden around the side of the park. It is a little small and outdated. It would be awesome to have a larger park that is also good for older kids to enjoy.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön gelegen. Etwa 10 Min. Fussmarsch zum Hot Water Beach. Die Bungalows waren gemütlich und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Kindgerechte Einrichtungen waren vorhanden.

Très facile d’accès, avec des sanitaires très propres et fonctionnels. Idéal pour profiter des bains sur la plage.

Le manque de chauffage dans les cabines en hiver est assez problématique. La nuit, il faut prévoir de bien se couvrir ou demander des couvertures supplémentaires pour ne pas avoir froid.

Everything I've never been this disappointed before. 1. The price is so inflated that it in no way matches the accommodations or level of comfort. 2. There are no amenities in the room to justify such an inflated price. 3. All amenities are shared and located outside. 4. The advertised hot-water pool is tiny—barely big enough for a few people—and we never even got to use it. 5. There’s no food on the premises except for pizza; we’d been traveling for so long that we ended up going to bed hungry that night. There are no breakfast options or facilities. 6. The much-hyped beach with hot springs is also inaccessible. You can’t even get close to it because of the water—there’s no way to cross it. 7. Late check-in and early check-out, which also doesn’t justify the prices they charge. I would never recommend this place or this accommodation to anyone. Our friends who stayed there as well and were extremely disappointed will confirm this.

Nice and tidy. So close to everything.

Our family visited during the winter season. The property was warm with working heaters and heated blankets on each bed as well as extra mink blankets. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed. We stayed in the motel 1 + 2 which is good for family with kids as it has an interlocking door and two full bathrooms, good hot showers with good shower pressure. Everything was clean and ready to use. Glad that there were extra towels as we spent a lot of time swimming.

On check in the room smelt like cigarettes however we opened up the windows to air it out, no other issues. Would be better if the spa was bigger and the main pool was warm.

The family friendly atmosphere of the camp was very fun! The staff was very helpful when we had questions and requests. We liked the walking path that went directly to the hot water beach as well, and the showers at the facility we could use after the beach. And the wood fired pizza restaurant was sooo yummy! We would have loved to stay longer 😊

There were issues with the power in our family cabin during the night, which turned off the small heating unit and we woke up freezing in the morning. We also had difficulty charging our phones and devices in preparation for our travels the next day.

Loved staying in the deluxe ensuite cabins. They were cosy and comfortable for our family. The pool and spa area are fantastic. Park is very clean and staff extremely helpful and friendly. The pizzas and Fish and Chips were fantastic - that covered our dinners for the 4 nights. The coffee was the best we've had at a holiday park! Such a beautiful part of the world.

Mud around children's play ground. Play ground itself could do woth an upgrade Internet should be unlimited due to the fact there is no ohone service and for the price of the accommodation. Main pool wasnt heated due to malfunction.. was heating but didnt reach temp during our stay. This is what we paid for.

Didn't get to see a native kiwi bird, but that's not the park's fault. I didn't realise the fridge wasnt turned on until the morning, but I only had fruit in the fridge anyway.

We stayed in a Deluxe Family Cabin for one night. Where nature meets the sea. We made the early morning trek down to Hot Water Beach to see the glow worms and sunrise on a winters morning. Breathtaking experience. Highly recommend

THE best campground of any, anywhere. Staff are so welcoming and the facilities are way beyond any of your expectations. There’s even a bar/ fish ‘n chips and pizza nights over the NZ winter weekends. Add all the above to the amazing location and you’ll not want to move on! We stayed in one of their ‘villas’ … a superb, inviting space with our own deck and BBQ. The superlatives keep on coming. I promise, you will love it.

A huge bouncy trampoline, heated pool and spa, plus a basketball hoop, ping pong and more made this great for school camp. The staff were excellent and really understand teens.

Main pool was little bit cold for kids, also we expect a bigger gaming room unfortunately there was only some boardgames and books in dining place(?).

Personnel très prévenant. Nous sommes arrivés à une heure tardive et la réception nous a appelé pour nous indiquer la démarche à suivre afin de pouvoir récupérer la clé du logement. Logement tres cosy et tres bien équipé. Nous avons énormément apprécié d être réveillé par le chant des oiseaux et la proximité à pied de hot water beach. Un très bon séjour avec nos enfants je recommande à 100%.

We got double booked and there was no more space in the facility and we had to sleep in the car. No help whatsoever from the stuff.

Next to hot water beach. Couples cabins romantic and idyllic. Spacious bbq area. Good privacy. Clean and beautiful gardens and landscape. Relaxing and simply divine

The staff at checkin experience was questionable. Felt very much like we were being taken for a ‘ride’ The booking description didn’t feel accurate or explained. We thought we booked individual rooms and ended up individual beds in a dorm room. We switched at checkin thankfully. However it would’ve been cheaper to hire a house for two than what we ended up paying for. And considering it’s still a good walk or short drive to beach.

This campground as all the great factures, it was superclean and personnel wonderful Bar Manager Estelle was superfriendly and will keep great souvenirs of our stay

What I liked most was that there was a lot of greenery, many green flowerbeds; you could already feel nature from the establishment.

I didn't find anything I didn't like.

I booked through Booking.com. Originally is said refund up to 2 days prior to stay. After booking, it said non-refundable. I was upset, but had no reason to believe we would not stay. While we were there, there was a cyclone hitting Coramandel. I called Hot Beach and asked for a refund. Sara said she would refund our stay, but I had to email to request. I emailed the email she provided and also emailed booking.com. Upon arriving home, I had emails stating that they cold not refund because I did not cancel on booking.com, which I did by email.

The location is great, it's in walking distance to Hot Water Beach. Cabins are compact but contain a fridge and table with chairs.

Received lots of automated messages from them, both through booking.com and by mail, with little value. The first messages didn't even contain a greeting which felt odd and unwelcoming. But the worst was that the room smelled strongly of chemical cleaning agents. After keeping door and windows open for a while, it got better, but the some of it was still there when I went to bed which was not pleasant.

The best thing about this place was the proximity to Hot Water Beach. We only stayed one night, very comfortable.

Toilets were a bit of a walk from our cabin.

Everything was wonderful, but the park is mainly designed for families with children. There are a lot of amenities specifically for kids.

Loved staying here. Neat, clean and updated facilities. Would 100% stay again if I were to go to the area.
