Aftensmad som var burger, var elendig til prisen. Bordet var fedtet. Vand på toilet og bad var meget svært at regulerer, næsten umuligt. Ikke noget sted at lægge tøj eller håndklæde i bad, uden det ville blive vådt. Man kunne ikke fylde en vandflaske forbi vandhanen kun ville lave varmt/lunkent vand. Hytten blev fugtig om natten grundet manglende mulighed for udluftning.

Unfortunately, I did not get to sleep in the room I paid for. Instead I had to sleep in my car. I had informed the hotel that I would arrive after the wedding party. I was told that I could access the key from a key box. Unfortunately no key code was added to my booking on booking.com ☹️ I am still waiting for a refund from the hotel. The toilet cubicle was very basic - the sink was hanging off the wall and water was gushing out of the electric compartment every time that tap was turned on.

Great eclectic place. Great with kids. Staff and clientele were friendly and we had a great evening and night stay. Also we arrived on 9 bikes they accommodated this without a bother.

Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut. Insgesamt war es eine entspannte Atmosphäre mit dem Personal und den anderen Gästen. Meine Hündin und ich waren 2 Nächte in einer der Hütten, das Bett darin war bequem, die Bettwäsche und Handtücher haben gut gerochen. Es gab genug Steckdosen und einen Ventilator. In der Mitte des Areals gab es einen sonnengeschützten Sitzbereich für alle Gäste. Dort saßen wir Fremde Abends öfter bei z.B. einem Wein zusammen. Der Sitzbereich hat auf jeden Fall dazu beigetragen, dass es geselliger wurde, für jene, die daran Interesse hatten. Im Restaurant konnte man Hundeeis kaufen, was bei 34 Grad sehr toll war. Das Areal mit den Hütten war vollständig eingezäunt, sodass meine Hündin, nach Rücksprache mit allen anderen Gästen, auch im Gemeinschaftsbereich einen Mittagsschlaf machen durfte. Die Hütte hatte sich tagsüber so aufgeheizt, dass man sich darin nicht aufhalten konnte. Den einen Abend ist Warmwasser in den Duschen ausgefallen, die Besitzerin war sehr lösungsorientiert und hatte schnell eine Alternative angeboten. Es gab kostenlose Parkplätze.

Die sanitären Anlagen waren echt grenzwertig. Auf den kleinsten Campingplätzen gibt es bessere Möglichkeiten als das, was dort angeboten wurde. Es gibt 2 Duschen und 2 Toiletten, die als Containerkabinen hingestellt wurden. In den Duschen gab es immer wieder Probleme mit dem Wasserdruck und der Temperatur, der innenliegende (also in den Duschkabinen) Boiler, hat nicht gut funktioniert. Der Duschschlauch war außerdem nicht lang genug. Zudem lief das Wasser nicht ab. Ich hatte das Reinigungspersonal darauf hingewiesen, dass das Sieb gereinigt werden muss oder Rohrreiniger verwendet werden muss. Das wurde nicht umgesetzt. Die Toilettenwägen waren so klein wie in einem Zug oder auf einem Festival. Es gab ein mini Waschbecken in der Toilette, woran man Zähneputzen musste. Das war schrecklich. Gesicht waschen? Unmöglich wenn man die Toilette nicht komplett nass machen will. Es gab in der Toilette keine Möglichkeit ein Handtuch aufzuhängen. Der Boiler am "Waschbecken" tropfte stark in der Damentoilette auf den Metallboden, was sehr spritzte. Auch die Temperaturregelung am Waschbecken war im Grunde nicht möglich. Das Wasser am Waschbecken war immer sehr warm, was bei den heißen Außentemperaturen unangenehm war. In der Herrentoilette war das Rohr zum Boiler so undicht, dass eine große Menge Wasser aus der Toilettekabine nach draußen floss. Das hatte ich dann dem Personal gemeldet, die diese Toilette außer Betrieb nahmen. Dementsprechend hatten wir (6 Hütten mit meistens jeweils 2 Personen) noch eine Toilette, worin ja auch das einzige Waschbecken war. Daher gab es dann lange Wartezeiten. Also die sanitäre Versorgung war nicht gut, das sage ich als Gast und als Wasseringenieurin.

I liked the layout of the family room. There was plenty of space and the partial divide of the double bed was a nice touch. I also liked the decoration of the walls and ceiling and the mini Stonehenge. It was also a bonus that the Inn was dog friendly and that residents had their own side door to save going through the pub restaurant.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable so I barely slept. We also struggled with the lack of plug sockets around the double bed for phone chargers and the lack of bedside tables next to each single bed for the kids drinks/belongings and medical needs. The room was also very warm with no fan provided. The double bed area was quite dark even with the lights on.

This is a pub with rooms above. Food is good, plenty of parking and quiet. I slept very well.

It could do with a lick of paint here and there but for the price was good value.

El wc era bastante incomodo. El lavabo era minusculo y caia todo el agua fuera y al no haber espacio estaba prácticamente encima del wc La ducha ni la use porq al ser contenedor no habia dónde poner o colgar las cosas La cabaña pequeña pero bien La ducha y el wc son de contenedor

Die Frau am Telefon hat uns versprochen einen Schlüssel in den Save zu legen und uns per email den Code zu senden da wir nicht rechtzeitig bis 22 Uhr da sein konnten . Nichts kam an , wir konnten sie auch nicht telefonisch erreichen , wir mussten mit Kinder nach 23 Stunden Fahrt auf dem Parkplatz im Auto neben dem Hotel übernachten.

Op enkele minuten rijden van Stonehenge en relatief dicht bij de snelweg. Propere kamer met degelijke bedden.

Veel omgevingslawaai van de drukke weg en de badkamer, geen nachtlampjes, heel warme kamer en geen mogelijkheid om te ontbijten voor 10.30u. De keuken van de herberg is te duur voor de kleine porties en de matige kwaliteit van het eten. Langer dan één nacht zou ik er niet verblijven.

I liked having a restaurant right there with the Inn. The location was right where I needed a place to stay on my hike through southern England and on the path after passing through Stonehenge. .

I could not open the window in my room, but the one in the adjacent bathroom worked. Together with a fan I was able to get some cool air in the room on a hot day.

There was no air conditioning, so the rooms were uncomfortably hot in July, such that we couldn't sleep very well.

La posizione è ottima rispetto al sito di Stonehenge. Il ristorante sotto le camere è comodo e con piatti buoni. Il personale è disponibile e accogliente. La camera in sé era abbastanza spaziosa e pulita.

In bagno non è stato possibile regolare la temperatura dell'acqua che veniva bollente.

Nice inn near Stonehenge, with a silly little mock Stonehenge in front of it. There's a big red two-decker bus repurposed a playground for kids, which they liked a lot.

I would not again order the pizza, much too fatty, but this could be my personal taste. The rest of the food was quite nice!

De locatie tov Stonehenge was prima. 10 minuutjes rijden.

Bij aankomst werden we snel naar onze kamer gebracht met weinig welkomsgevoel. De kamer was erg benauwd. We hadden een familiekamer en dat was helemaal prima. Alleen er was maar één grote lamp en geen kleine bedlampjes, dat is wel handig als de kinderen alvast gaan slapen en de ouders nog even willen lezen. Ook waren er heel weinig stopcontacten. De douche stroomde niet door en de wc spoelde nauwelijks door. Bij vertrek konden we de kamersleutel in een brievenbus doen. Er was geen ontbijt.

Love a quirky spot! Great space, and even though we weren't there when the pub was serving food looked like a great menu.

The 'modesty curtain' in the pod leaves a lot to be desired. Make it wider. Also were battling with the sound of the huge extractor fan on the pub all night. Finally the toilets are find but very small had to sit sideways on the seat!

It was very close to Stonehenge. It had a pub so we could eat on site. The train car was fun to sleep in. There was a “fun bus” the kids could play in.

I bagni esterni. Praticamente dei wc chimici con lavandino minuscolo e non funzionante. Di fatto impossibile anche solo lavarsi i denti. Nella doccia, anch'essa esterna e dentro dei moduli, neanche un gancio per appendere un asciugamani o appoggiare uno shampoo. Non ci siamo potuti lavare e fortynatamente il tempo era buono. Il letto in una struttura piuttosto claustrofobica. Avrei forse dovuto leggere meglio prima di prenotare. Va bene anche la soluzione camping ma che almeno i bagni siano decenti.

Alojamiento tal cual las fotos. Si te quedas para ir a ver a Stonehenge tene en cuenta que no podes ir caminando, tenes que ir en taxi si o si porque parece cerca pero queda a 2 horas a pie.

Muy chico, no andaba mucho el aire por lo tanto pasamos calor. Y quizás lo que más nos incomodó es que no tuviera ni microondas ni agua para calentar.

Paid for a suite room and as was exhausted from driving they had to give us 😴 a small room with bunkbeds and double which wasn't what we paid for for the 2 nights my disabled adults had double bed split into two beds while I slept on bottom bunk and hubby slept on floor as top bunk wasn't ideal for us if we had the suite room which had double and bottom bunk was planned for one girl and single bed for other but we were told suite rooms were booked out even tho we paid for it had no choice but make do were we were as local hotels were fully booked 393.00 with insurance on top When they split the beds in two one wasnt provided with bed sheet room was cramped shower was basic cobwebs everwere

Pod was clean and comfortable , came with use of towels and much needed fan in this hest. Pub itself was good, staff were friendly and food was very good value for money

Showers were not great. Toilets both in the pub and outside for the pid area were lacking toilet paper, soap and a few cubicles were out of use. General maintenance on the faculties could be improved.

No breakfast available until 11:30 am, too late for me. Evening meal very good.

Bathroom needs a Shelf or something suitable to rest your toiletries on.

La struttura è accogliente e con un pub al piano terra . si vede che è una struttura antica che ha mantenuto le sue radici pur essendo molto comoda e ben fornita. La camera era molto spaziosa e fornita di televisione, i letti erano comodi e puliti.

Il boiler durava poco e il bagno era un po’ sporco e con alcuni insetti che però in un ambiente di campagna ci possono stare.

Easy check in and the basic room was acceptable. The location was good for us.

No breakfast available and no air conditioning in a very hot room. Also the guests at th pub stayed loud into the night making it hared for the family to sleep.

The toilet housing kept coming loose and the shower basin took ages to drain.

Staff was very friendly & helpful. unusually high temperatures made the situation challenging, but we were given a fan. Windows open with no screens, but it worked out. Food very tasty.

Location ideal for what we needed. Beds galore ( 3 singles 1 double) for 2 people. Clean bed linen and towels. Parking very nearby.

Very tired and dated decor and furnishings. Shower temperature control appeared to not have a warm setting boiling/scalding hot, or hot. Curtains on the one window in the room did not close fully. No bedside light or table in main room. TV wiring did not look safe to a non qualified person. The stairs up to the room (called a suite) are extremely steep, particularly hard for my disabled wife.

Camera apparentemente pulita, ma in realtà abbiamo trovato gli asciugamani sporchi e con dentro dei “cerotti usati”. Le lenzuola del letto grande avevano delle macchie rosse. Il bollitore dell’acqua aveva un odore maleodorante. Camera molto calda senza né condizionatore né ventilatore.

Schöner Pub mit einfacher Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in der Nähe von Stonehenge. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Gutes Essen. Wir hatten die Gelegenheit den Sonntagsbraten zu bekommen. Das Little Stonehenge steht gegenüber vom Pub neben dem Parkplatz und ist schön angelegt und identisch mit dem Original. Man sollte auch Woodhenge ganz in der Nähe vom Pub besuchen. Sehr ruhig und beeindruckend.

Situated in a beautiful area with easy access to Stonehenge and surrounding areas. Staff were excellent and friendly. The pod was perfect for a good sleep.

Das Fenster im Zimmer ließ dich kein bißchen öffnen. Das im Badezimmer stand etwas offen und so musste ich die Tür zum Badezimmer auf lassen. Das Zimmer war sehr teuer (Stonehenge!). Wegen der Nähe zu Stonehenge hatte ich es gebucht. Niemand konnte mir auch nur den kleinsten Tip geben wie ich auf das Gelände kommen könnte. "Zu Fuß", war der einzige Ratschlag. Pro Strecke über 90 Minuten.

A lovely old inn with heritage - just what I like .

Comfortable bed.

Road noise, tiny pod. No basics like a kettle or toiletries. The bed takes up the entire space, has one fold out table. No storage at all, two hooks to hang a jacket. No heating, when temperature drops you have no heating. No sink or mirror.

It was a great place to stay for a cheap night away for a family. They were able to accommodate all 5 of us in a family room. It was clean very reasonably priced and a great location to go to Stonehenge.

They didn’t offer breakfast, but there was an Aldi a few minute away so we went and picked up some bits from there. The pub is next to a roundabout so not very scenic, but we were just for one night so it didn’t bother us. We had dinner in the pub and the food wasn’t the best so would recommend eating elsewhere.

Das Zimmer, insbesondere das Bad, war runtergekommen. Die Dusche war eklig, die Halterung der Duschbrause nur mit Kabelbinder zusammengehalten, die Wasserhähne verrostet. Bei einer Jugendherberge hätte ich mit dieser Ausstattung leben können. Aber nicht zu dem Preis. Alle anderen Unterkünfte auf der Rundreise waren inkl. Frühstück 20% preiswerter. Es gab keine vernünftigen Abstellmöglichkeiten, der Blick aus dem Fenster war auf die Mülltonnen und es lag direkt an der Hauptstraße, welche viele Motorräder und Autos zum Gas geben verleitet hatte. Da es keiner Klimaanlage gab, mussten wir bei der stickigen Luft zu dritt in dem sehr kleinen Zimmer die Fenster offen lassen. Personal haben wir nur bei der Ankunft kurz gesehen. Er war aber freundlich und hatte mir angeboten, mein Gepäck zu tragen.

The smell in the whole building was horrendous. The mattress was so uncomfortable, the pillows, although they had plenty, they were absolutely no use, very old and decomposed in a million bits. Also, it is quite inconsiderate to hold a concert underneath your room's window. Specially when you have kids with you.

Price and location

The shower controls in room 4 were very stiff and difficult to adjust. I ended up having a shower that was hotter than I wanted.

The toilet/shower shared facility was reaaaly bad! It was all outside, the toilet like a toi toi with barely place to move. No soap. The shower also like a box outside with not even a place to hang your towels. The water didn't drain quickly so you stayed with your feet in your own mess....

I stayed in one of their Pods which was £54 Here’s the good stuff… The pub itself is ok and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was good and very reasonable.

The Pod is tiny. I felt claustrophobic and there was only me. The lighting is dim. There is a heater in the pod but I couldn’t adjust the temperature. If you have it on it’s too hot, and freezing if you don’t. The toilets and showers are Porto cabins, smell horrible and are very cold. I stayed in May and can’t imagine what it would be like in the winter. There was water everywhere and my slippers were soaking. I tried to have a shower as I was going to a family event, but the water was freezing cold in both of them so I couldn’t. I checked out at 6.45am as enough was enough, and ended up having to find a leisure centre so I could actually have a shower.

The room didn't have a table or a flat surface to put things on. Doesn't do breakfast, either, which is rather annoying but they probably don't have enough guests to take on that extra cost.
