The location was great with car parking

I was in the annex which had very poor wi fi connection and only 2 tv channels seem to connect. Also, there was a bad smell on occasions from the drains. Worst thing was that the shower door was just leaning up against another shower panel and started to fall when I touched it. I had to use my already injured arm (I have a splint on my wrist) to stop it falling and breaking against the tiled wall and it has pulled muscles and made injuries worse for me. The room should not have been let with the dangerous shower and one wonders why it was! I left in the morning and didn’t complain because I thought the hotel would already know, since the cleaning staff had left it that way, but I am angry. I won’t be returning. Also, although dogs are allowed in the room there was a note that they weren’t allowed in the restaurant so I would not be able to stay for a breakfast.

The village was beautiful for autumnal walks and lovely independand little shops. Such a relaxing calm tranquil welcoming friendly wee village. We would love to go back but there is so many areas like this in Scotland we need to explore we may never be back sadly

It was quite handy as a stop over from sunderland to Inverness ,breakfast was really good

A window was broke in bedroom 104,when I mentioned it to staff as I did not want to be accused of breaking the Window,I was told it was allegedly done by last guest?if you can believe that ,as the crack didn't look new to me They need to get the finger out ,and get a glazier to repair the window

Camera molto comoda, con tutto il necessario (anche una macchinetta Nespresso con le cialde... Sembra una cavolata, ma per noi che da buoni italiani amiamo il caffè espresso, è stata una bella sorpresa!). Il letto è molto comodo. Il ragazzo alla reception è stato gentilissimo perché ho sbagliato e ho prenotato una camera con due letti singoli invece che il matrimoniale, e ce l'ha cambiata senza farci aggiungere nulla!

Punti negativi: troppi ragni! 5 in bagno e uno in camera; la doccia non ha la regolazione del getto, esce solo alla massima potenza quindi ti becchi 30 secondi di acqua gelata prima che arrivi la calda; le tende non si chiudono bene quindi, se come me avete bisogno del buio per dormire, portatevi una mascherina da notte! Per il resto ottima esperienza, grazie di tutto!!

Our room was in the annex which smelled heavily of sewage and was very unclean with marks on bedding and skirting boards. We were offered another room in the annex but that had the same smell. We were moved to a room on the main hotel which was marginally better. Overall the cleanliness was poor,and paint that should be white was yellow. Carpets in the lobby were dirty and tatty. Other customers were also being moved. I was very sad to have paid £107

Location was great

Very tired hotel, needs a complete refurb, had to wait for staff on a number of occasions, pool table broken, shower was minute as was the bed. This hotel need immediate attention!!

Absolutely stunk. Mould all over the bathroom. Ceiling patched up with filler. Carpet damp. Bed squeaky as anything. Random leaks in bathroom.

Staff were brilliant, friendly and welcoming, food was good, beds were comfortable. A bit of noise with plumbing and bathroom door did not fully close, however these were minor irritations. Would definately return, location ideal.

The cooked breakfast was very good. The buffet was poor and the only staff member on duty clearly overworked and under strain . I have never been asked to pay £2 for a hot chocolate for a non coffee drinker with an all inclusive breakfast rate

Don't under any circumstances book a room in the annex. It is a dilapidated shed . The rooms ( but not the bathrooms) have been done up and are small but well appointed. The surroundings are terrible. The rooms are accessed down a scruffy narrow path past an unkempt area . The windows look directly at the fire escape. The shower in one room leaked all over the floor ( although in fairness the duty manager readily moved us into the main building ) . The toilet in the other room didn't flush properly and the wi-fi in the so- called ' annex' didn't work - avoid!

Spent over £250 for 2 nights and was given a room in what can only be described as a garden shed. The room had a strange smell and is in desperate need of a good paint/clean. They can claim the hotel to be old fashioned all it likes but that's no excuse for worn out furniture and generally poor conditioned bedding/towels. Given the price paid, I expected a lot more from my stay here (such as a window that could actually function) however was left very disappointed.

Tried to put me in the "annexe" room which was like a row of a garages in the car park. After complaining I was moved but had to pay additional £30. They were not happy moving me to room within hotel itself but did so in the end. The location was fantastic and the car parking very convenient.

We were allocated a 'cabin' in the car park behind the hotel. It was like staying in a damp-smelling garden shed that had been converted into guest accommodation some years ago.

A large hotel building but our room was in the annexe. An old looking structure around the back of the car park. At first we were a little doubtful about the room, but were proved wrong as it was quiet and cosy, lovely in fact. Great breakfast. The lady serving breakfast was very friendly and helpful.

Ein etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, was eigentlich nicht negativ sein könnte. Aber unaufmerksames Personal. Zimmer unsauber, Dusche hat nicht funktioniert. Ausgewiesenes Equipment fehlt.

The external areas of our annex and grounds require serious attention. The shower doors not attached at the bottom. Shower was warm to begin with but then water went cold during shower.

We had a fantastic experience at the Royal Dunkeld Hotel. The Indian food was absolutely delicious—full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The staff were professional, friendly, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. The atmosphere was great, with a lovely beer garden to relax in, a well-stocked bar, and a pool room that we really enjoyed spending time in. Everything combined to make for a brilliant visit. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!

El pueblo es precioso, paseos preciosos cerca del río, una antigua Abadía, una calle central pintoresca, gente amable y un bar con una terraza al lado del río y música en directo. Nos encantó

We were in the annexe called a Kabin which was a glorified shed that the window didn't open and it was full of condensation, showerhead was grubby, wall paper was torn. Staff were not approachable and we waited more than mins to get booked in even although there were staff in the vicinity. There was no internet as it was down but the girl on reception didn't even lift her head to tell us that.

We were completely satisfied with everything. They accommodated all our requests. The breakfast was very good, and the lady at the reception was absolutely wonderful.😊

We loved the room we stayed in- triple room, twin bed for each of us. It had everything we needed. Dunkheld is a quaint, small, walkable town. Very cute and the people were very friendly.

The shower needs a small shelf to place soap and shampoo containers while showering.

Has the staff clean this “hotel room” before the guest checkin? I doubt!!! Can’t stand to stay in an annex room. If you read the hotel website, it describes “Our Annexe, for example, provides you with comfortable rooms at very affordable prices in a separate building”. Don’t understand what is the definition of building! To me, this annex is just the container, where we put the cargo inside and ship! I don’t trust the bed hygiene and therefore I have to use my clothes to cover the bed. Of course, I didn’t use the pillows, duvet, blankets, towels. Can you imagine when you walk out from the “so called” hotel room, it is a “nature” environment! If you are lucky enough, insects will be your visitors. Though I know there is no air conditioner, there is no air flow in the room. Finally I found the window at the toilet has been open for a little crack, I believe that’s the only place for air flow. Can’t imagine how to substain if it has heat wave. Weak or nearly dead wifi! Unfortunately my mobile signal is weak as well. It said it has phone in the “Hotel room”, sadly, I can’t find it. I tried to call hotel staff by my mobile phone, but the network is dead and I can’t reach them. Not enough hot bathing water. Well, we are lucky that the weather is not cold, otherwise, we will definitely get sick! One important thing is, my booking is being hacked!!!! I received whatspp from Central de Agendamentos IESA, +55 51 3076-1020, asking me to verify our identity by clicking on the link. I don’t know how much personal information has been stolen! For sure, I will never visit this hotel again and recommend to my friends. It actually ruin my impression to Dunkeld. Unfortunately I can only attached 4 disgusting photos!

The only reason to stay here is Kamal! I booked a 3-night bed, breakfast, and dinner package, and I can honestly say that a staff member named Kamal was the absolute saving grace of my entire holiday. He is a total star! Kamal went completely above and beyond, showing the kind of genuine empathy, patience, and incredible professionalism that is rare to find. He has a natural talent for looking after people and is an absolute credit to the hotel team. Without his kindness, my trip would have been a disaster.The hotel itself was highly disappointing. I was assigned a cabin-type room away from the main building that faces a dark, moist wall with trailing ivy. It was plagued by spiders and "beasties." As someone with severe arachnophobia, I couldn't relax at all, constantly worrying about extra "guests" in the room, and I even had to vacate one right outside yesterday. To make matters worse, the bed was highly uncomfortable, and after 3 nights, my lower back is incredibly sore.The food was another mixed bag. Breakfast each morning was excellent, but the evening meals were not so great—thank goodness they at least had a decent red wine available!On a practical note, the hotel is very dog-friendly. If you are not keen on furry friends, I wouldn't book a room here, though it was surprisingly quiet at night considering how many dogs were staying. Also, there is a decent bus service right outside to Perth—if you go for the day, it is actually cheaper to buy 2 single tickets rather than a return.This hotel desperately needs a major update to its rooms and mattresses, but management is incredibly lucky to have Kamal holding the entire place together!

I liked the location of the hotel because it was in Dunkeld itself. So you don't have to drive. I liked the coffee machine in the room and the big TV which had YouTube Prime Video and Netflix installed on the TV. It had a car park for hotel residents.

To price I paid for the stay was expensive for what I got. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and it was very noisy when moving. The shower was very small. The toilet paper holder did not hold the toilet paper. The toilet moved everytime you used it. The toilet door didn't close The car park of the hotel was not tarmaced and if awful condition resulting in my car under body was scraping everytime because of the huge potholes. And when arrived and departed there no staff on the reception desk to greet us.

Room was standards and shower did not work properly. Breakfast was excellent.

Unable to have breakfast in the restaurant as I had a dog. Staff member was going to try and open the bar area for us to have breakfast....we went elsewhere. Hotel looked tired, filthy in areas, public toilets dirty. Reception area untidy with various things lying on it. Absolute disgrace

We paid a full room rate the then be housed in a shed in the car park. Tiny grubby room, noisy neighbours outside our door drinking and smoking after midnight.

Mira shower and cabinet door from the 80’s but functioned okay. Slight smell of cooking throughout but not offensive. Some areas a little tired but cleanliness makes up for this.
