Páčilo sa nám všetko. Personál nápomocný a veĺmi príjemný. Hotel čistý, komfortný. Napriek tomu ze hotel je blízko diaľnice, izba bola tichá a výborne som sa tu zregenerovala. Lokalita vyborná: blízko vstupu do NatiParku. Možnosť pozorovať divú zver, najmä bizóny a kanadské jelene. Odporúčam!
Všetko bolu ok
Comfy beds and pillows. Offered free continental breakfast. Staff pleasant and efficient. Close to Elk Island Park.
Needed more signage. Inaccurate booking information via Booking.com website. Would be nice to have a hot breakfast and pool.
Accommodated our late check in. Lots of parking for vehicle towing trailers. Located outside of town for easy access.
Very friendly staff that went out of their way to make check in simple. The room was very clean and comfortable. Would stay again anytime.
Coffee was my only complaint, I prefer a brewed coffee and hate the waste of pods.
Very clean and well kept, great staff
Clean, modern + comfortable.
It was a little hard to get to inbthe dark + access road was very rough.
Friendly staff and very helpful lady made sure we had everything we needed for the stay
The train driving by a few times thru the night and blowing its horn. Hard to sleep through
Location and breakfast
Nothing
It is a nice place BUT
Getting hassled because I booked two rooms on booking and she didn’t check us in as one booking so I got a call saying in the morning I may have to pay for the second room again. Sorry paid once that is a you problem. Book through them directly or pay at the property… their technology using booking is not there.
Well run clean facility. Very helpful staff
We stayed 5 days and nights. Not once was our room cleaned during this time. No fresh towels, nothing. We had to go to the front counter for towels to shower and toilet paper. Here's a warning to everyone, there is a damn train that goes past a few times a night and blares the horn each time! It is loud and wakes you up. Be warned. Breakfast is lacking. Frozen french toast and waffles and some cereal and toast. I get it, there's nowhere to cook and the town is tiny. But coming from another Days Inn in Airdrie, we stayed there 6 days and each morning there was eggs, potatoes and either bacon, sausages or ham. Fresh muffins, bread, bagels and english muffins. Fresh orange and apple juice and a bunch of other options. The people at the front desk were excellent, and the manager was very friendly and made sure there was always fresh coffee. Beds were comfortable and the room was huge. The only gripe was like I said, not having anyone clean the room or replenish towels and toiletries.
Excellent staff and great location
It serves my needs perfectly
Our stay in Lamont was terrific! The rooms were great : very clean, well stocked and comfortable. The free breakfasts were pretty good as well. The staff were all really nice and helpful. Donna at the front desk deserves a Gold Star 😇 for going above and beyond to help us out at a difficult time. We would absolutely stay here again.
Manager knew hot water wasnt working, for over a month. Expedia we book a king bed . None for people with dogs friendly . I won't book with expidia ever again IWe won't stay at Days Inn again! Both companies failed us !
The room was clean
Clean room, continental breakfast, reasonable price.
Excellent stay
Nothing, everything was bad
Everything, even the breakfast was cold and dry
Near and clean.. friendly staff
The breakfast.. very boring and not much of a choice
Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff went above and beyond at every step and truly made me feel like a small, spread out family by the end. The day, morning, and night staff were all genuine, helpful, and kind towards me (a stranger from out of town) Can't reco this place enough if you're looking in this area. They were legit, place was legit.
Peggy the manager was excellent The other front desk people were great also The room was very clean and nice.
Very nice and clean room and helpful staff
Wonderful, helpful staff. Very quiet. Great breakfast.
Needed more lighting in the room... some light bulbs needed replacing.
Excellent hospitality
Love the room. There are 2 queen beds, and it's quite spacious. It's easy to sleep 4. The free breakfast is simple but good enough. The price is great. We'd love to book again next time when we visit Elk Island which is very close.
King bed was crap, sides were competely caved in. Had to sleep in middle 39", what a waste. Also breakfast was only a waffle or cereal. No fruit or protein.
How clean and friendly the staff were. Breakfast was delicious
That it isn’t in walking distance of anything
It was ok for a small town fays
everything
None
Puts most hotels charging double the price to shame. Immaculate, gym, self service laundry, well maintained, very courteous and friendly staff, etc. It has the most important factor ie a staff that cares.
Train blew whistle multiple times at 4 AM and 6 AM
No breakfast.
We were charged a pet fee of $80 per day for 2 days for 2 small dogs. One day they did not provide housekeeping service.
Quiet and with easy access into Fort Saskatchewan, didn’t have to battle traffic in either direction which was a bonus
It was clean and staff was friendly
The additional charges for everything. 99.98% of hotels have a complimentary breakfast. You charged outrageous prices for -1 food, and it was an hour late ..
Nice place
Absolutely lovly stay for our third time :)
The property and room were clean and easy to see, right along the highway. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
Not always someone at the front desk to help with questions or pickup confections. No complimentary drinking water provided in the room. That may not be standard practice to provide, but everywhere else that I’ve stayed there is always complimentary bottled water provided. No Continental breakfast. There’s a nook in the lobby that may have offered a continental breakfast at one time but it is now pay only and outrageously priced. I asked at the desk; it’s not associated with the hotel. Didn’t eat there.
Stayed here in the past and already booked in for next time I am working nearby
Easy to find
Overpriced for a no frill hotel. Not even a continental breakfast
Have already booked another stay Easy access from the highway and on the quiet side of Fort Saskatchewan
Its clean and spacious. The front desk was nice as well
The staff and hotel were great.
Clean, quiet, quick check in. Food.
Loved it!!!!
Staff is always friendly and they make your stay as best they can. Easy access when you come for an appointment in Lamont, its the perfect place. You can barely hear the train during the night.
They need to pay attention to the water damage that is happening in the bathrooms
Good rate. No breakfast included was a negative.
Very clean and quiet enjoyed our stay.
Very clean and comfortable. If breakfast included is important to you, look somewhere else. The poorest, insignificant breakfast I have ever experienced.
Very pleasant overnight stay! Impeccably clean, super quiet, comfy king bed, friendly staff and a nice breakfast in the morning! Would highly recommend!
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a well stocked kitchenette. The price was great value.
Everything was fine
Super clean, comfy beds
Price and location
Clock in room didn't work. Microwave in room didn't work until I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Complimentary breakfast was alright. Had to microwave the food to warm it up.
Super clean and the rooms were really nice.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice rooms and very clean. My only "complaint" is that the breakfast room doesn't open until 7:00 Lots of working people are long gone by then. If it opened at 6 I might have time for a quick bite and a coffee instead of driving a half hour to get something.
As a family we had been making a tradition of staying here once a year visiting family in area. We wanted rooms next to each other and arranged these weeks in advance. Arriving at nearly empty motels we were told rooms we wanted were occupied. This was untrue and when brought to management’s attention, they responded dishonestly. I understand mistakes or confusion but I don’t appreciate dishonesty! Won’t be returning.
Excellent stay for a hospital visit the next morning
Very nice clean rooms. Small shop on site with decent supply of snacks and drinks. Good breakfast
Professional staff, simple but clean and comfortable room. Front desk supplied with basic necessities if you forget something. Dog friendly.
Price was beat through Expedia No amenities at hotel and a drive too ok nearest restaurant which was ok.
awesome service
Convenient, just near the town center and also near Elk Island National Park. The staff were all courteous and accommodaring. Free breakfast is okay.
Check in was quick, easy and very friendly service
Except for not receiving the advertised award & the front desk closing at 10:30, checkin was smooth The free breakfast was horrible. The cofee ran out but with no one monitoring breakfast area and no one at front desk, there was no one who could remedy. The breakfast items were extremely limited. Only sausages, small square waffle, piece of French toast and small cheese omelette (all individually wrapped in an excessive amount of plastic wrap. We found bagels, toast and muffins.
Stayed one night at this hotel with my dog in October. I booked a room with a king bed. On check-in, I was told that I couldn't have this room, because they have dedicated dog rooms. I was given a room with two queen beds instead. I don't believe the hotel on Expedia said, limited, dog-specific rooms, so be aware of this if booking with the hotel. I was aware, however upon booking of the $25 per day/per pet charge. Had I been staying with both my dogs, or staying more than one night I would have never booked this hotel. I understand hotels charging fees for a deeper clean of the room after a dog has been there to accommodate people with allergies etc. But, that is not a concern until we leave - two dogs do not create exponentially more cleaning, and the deep clean does not happen each day during our stay. So, more than a one-time fee of $25 is astronomical, and unfair. I think hotel owners should reconsider this charge, as they would certainly lose my business, and I am certain other dog owners check the dog fee policies to help guide their decisions about where to book. Apart from this, my room was large, and adequately cleaned - not exceptionally so, given they charge extra for dogs to stay there (found kibble on the floor, a dead fly by window, dust/grime - generally giving lived-in conditions). Complimentary breakfast was nice. The grassy areas around the hotel are some of the best I have seen in some time. Very clean and safe for dogs. A little noisy. Good overall.
Limited fitness centre
loved it
Was nice that I recieved a call when we hadn't arrived by 9pm just confirming we were still coming
Very Clean
This is a very nice hotel, quiet, clean and comfortable. We would recommend it.
Place is clean staff was friendly. Breakfast included wrapped up meat and frozen wrapped up egg to reheat yourself… not cool!!!
We really liked the friendly staff, the room and hotel was very well maintained and clean. Loved that our room had a kitchen with full fridge. (318), beds were great.
Shower pressure was sub par. But the bath tub was nice and big. The breakfast although adequate it really did not meet a typical chain hotel breakfast. Having to microwave items already in a warmer, selection did not hit the mark for us.
The suite which we were given was next to the prep-kitchen. We were awakened by the staff at 4:50am. Loud talking and excessive noise from the prep-kitchen. We asked in advance if there would be noise issues, the staff said no. #107 avoid this suite.
Staff was demanding
I’m happy
This was great! They were slammed with a wedding (our family) and the Metallica Concert in Edmonton. They remained upbeat and positive and it was noticeable. Staff was super friendly, the hotel was very clean and the free Continental breakfast was one of the best I've experienced at a Wyndham Days Inn. I try to stay in Wyndhams to collect the points and, to be real, Days Inns can vary dramatically in quality. This one was excellent. It was pet friendly so even though we did not bring our fur babies, we got to pet and snuggle with others. I would highly recommend.
Great place to discover Elk Island National Park on our way to Edmonton
The beds were comfortable, rooms were clean and quiet. Service was great at both the front desk and the breakfast room. If I had to pick something that could be improved upon, we were short some towels and had to get more from housekeeping, but this was a minor inconvenience. Everything else was perfect!
Typical of most rural hotels. Rough, washboard gravel road leading up to it. Be careful. My room was located beside the breakfast prep room, and at 6 am, I was woken up by talkative service staff. Well, it got me out of bed. They apologized but it was a little late.
