Very average stay .very old and under maintained not worth the money

Facilities are good and a peaceful place. The check-in experience was smooth. Indoor pool was okay.

Breakfast was quite average and lacks variety. You have to take a small road to reach the hotel, so people might overlook it since it's very close to the freeway ramp.

Right off highway away from traffic

Checking into our first room, had throw up on the bed and floor wasn’t clean properly. Spoke to receptionist, over heard the manager say “idk what you want me to do we are sold out”…very unprofessional and uncomfortable. We get our room switched our second room was dirty as well, hair all over the bathroom floor the shower wasn’t clean it had grim on the shower walls that could visibly be seen, urine on the toilet and the floors. For the price of the hotel, i wouldn’t recommend.

The location was perfect, pretty close to where I wanted to go. Room was neat and clean. The breakfast was pretty nice.

The bathroom door would not close. To be fair, they did put a board mentioning renovations going on.

They probably was convenient good parking clean pool clean rooms are comfortable beds.. and Pamela at the front desk was exceptional. She helped me with the check-in process and everything.

The pool area was filth and bugs everywhere the hot tub is still broke down looks like its been that way for a while the rooms was clean but very outdated the sheets had holes in them and all stained up found candy rappers so the house keepers need to do a much better job

The rooms that we stayed in were extremely dirty I found that the rooms were not vacuumed underneath the beds were not checked I found like a half smoked blunt under one bed and a tobacco pocket that you put inside your mouth if I wouldn't have checked these things my puppy could have gotten a hold of those things and it would have been really bad I also found a bunch of children's toys like glow in the dark sticks and all sorts of other things underneath the corners of the beds there must have been 6 in of dust on top of the headboards and on the nightstands towards the bottom shelves of the nightstands the inside of the microwave hadn't been cleaned and it was extremely Rusty so I wouldn't have used it for health concerns the underside of the toilet bowl and down onto the floor there was poop everywhere and poop on the wall both showers and bathtubs in both rooms had other people's hair or DNA inside of them they were extremely scummy and felt disgusting when you wipe your hand on them and the built-in non-slip skid that's in the bathtub was completely black you could actually see it and you are not supposed to see those in the bathtubs if you can see it then it's filthy I used to work in hotel housekeeping so I know exactly what a room is supposed to be and these rooms were absolutely disgusting I would be embarrassed to rent those out for even a quarter I have pictures of everything there was fingerprints and slime and all kinds of stuff all over the TV on every single mirror in the room it was just absolutely disgusting filthy the screens on the glass sliding doors were broken so I couldn't even have the door open because my dog would have went right through the window and not only that he actually did go through it and I had to go outside chasing him cuz I didn't realize it was ripped.

The entrance door to the room was hard to open lock with key card took three or more attempts to get in. Noticed other residents having the same problem.

Everything went well. Love the breakfast and the room temp was perfect, even on the cool mornings.

The unruly children running up and down the hallway and I'm not the only one who thought the same thing. Do better with that and it will be a good place to stay. I had a hard time turning the TV on and when I did turn it on, there were 2 black lines on as if the screen was cracked. I reported it to the desk but no one showed up.

I love the property stayed a few weeks Ms.Pam is very helpful and sweet so is the young lady that works in the evening very helpful and considerate, the hotel itself is great stay very quite relaxing. Not to mention the 10ft pool very shocking to say the least but the kids enjoyed it.

It’s going through remodel so there few things in process to get charged it’s like rust in few of the showers, & some shower curtain need be changed outside of that not to many issues.

The floor hadn't been vacuumed before we came. The shower curtain had mold on it. The room was showing its age.

The breakfast, free parking and wifi were great perks.

The bathroom in my room was filthy. There were black marks all over the walls and door. The door did not shut all of the way and the shower curtain had stains on it that looked like blood.

Location

Incontinence pad in bed under sheet. I work in healthcare and that is used for patients who are incontinent of urine and bowels. This is degrading to pay all that money and feel very uncomfortable. I was told by staff that incontinence pads are used at every hotel and I've stayed at many hotels and never seen that. We were handed clean linen to remake our bed because I refused to sleep on it.

The restaurant food was ok,

The location was unnoticeable. The doors were not working properly, our key card didn't work any where only for our room. There were holes in the walls in our room, We had to wear bracelets to eat and swim. Kinda like Kalahari but they weren't a resort. I had only booked because photos showed a hot tub. But it was inoperable.

Staff was friendly.

The sliding door did NOT lock, yes I did lock it, but could open it anyhow. Used the bar on the door to keep closed.

Pamela at the front desk was wonderful, great value for the price.

The front desk staff were extremely knowledgeable and polite. I wanted to specifically mention Pamela for her genuine kindness and making sure I enjoyed my stay. I appreciated the hospitality of the staff at this location which is something I value.

The breakfast was okay, the location was fine. Front staff and manager and kitchen was very kind, considerate and caring to all situations. They showed concern and respect. I want knock this experience I had on this experience, I've been staying at yall establishments for years and had great experiences. Comfort Inn always been a place to stay at. I would recommend Comfort Inn is a great establishment to stay at.

Found dirty diapers in the trashcan, bathroom looks as if someone took a shower and wasn't cleaned and sanitized. Drugs were found in room, rug wasn't vacuumed. Hallway was hot, pool was dirty, had to walk a different floor to the end of the hall to get ice.

The staff were very friendly and the pool was nice.

Room was not very clean, there were cherry seeds on the floor around the edge of the bed and other debri as well. The fitted sheets would not stay on the matress, no elastic and the flat sheet was way oversize hanging on floor. Toliet leaked on floor as well. The outer door on building "c" had to be proped opened as the card reader would not work. Ice machine as well as vending machines were not working.

They gave my room away after making reservations I reserved a king bed and and had to take a double bed room with my wife and the girl at the front desk said it's not a big deal it's just two beds and they took out the money for the room before I even got there after I selected to pay at check-in

Took 5 trips to get room key that worked, finally maintenance got one out of 2 to work ( room 202) Bathroom door had been previously been ripped off hinges very poor repair, Outside entrance door ( A) to rooms had the lock tore out, anybody could walk in. Road to facility in very poor repair.

Great pool size and convenient location

There were several doors propped open throughout the hotel. We had young children and saw several people come through the doors which we were not sure if they were staying and made us a little uneasy.

Almost everything. It was dirty. There were stains everywhere, mold under the mini fridge and on the wall. Rust on the lamps. No hot water unless you do the handle a certain way which was unknown till we got maintenance up there. Overall poor experience

The door did not work. Had luggage and more. I had to take it back to my vehicle and had to walk back to the front desk. Staff was Great door just malfunctioned.

The service and the rooms were very comfy and homey. The pool was clean and warm. The hours could be extended more in the evening for the pool instead.

The hotel is old; everything is worn out and not very clean, and the towels had a strange smell. The bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows were tiny—like sofa cushions. The breakfast was poor. I consider it overpriced.

I understand that some areas are under construction but the rooms, hallway, pool area & especially the hallway to get to the pool are beyond dirty! Some areas look like they haven’t been clean in months. Couldn’t stay the night because of how uncomfortable my family & I were.

There was no air conditioning in the main parts of the building , and it was 97 degrees outside. It was not very well kept and dirty. The pool area was disgusting.There was black mold and duct tape holding up the skylights. Also , the hot tub was nonexistent , even though it was shown in pictures.

I was bit by some type on Bug 🐛 on my forearm and my elbow, and it has swollen up. Also my sink was leaking when I washed my hands.

The bed was kinda uncomfortable. I stayed in April in a queen bed and it was pretty comfy. This stay the king bed was really uncomfortable

The exercise room was lack luster. One treadmill didn’t work. The other was too shaky to use.

I liked the easy access from the interstate since were driving in for a funeral. I also liked the price of the stay as compared to other hotels in the area for my needed dates. I liked the helpfulness of other guests who saw the difficulty our disabled family member was having moving between the different levels of the hotel and quickly moved to help us with them and our luggage. The phrase "you get what you pay for" unfortunately rang true for this hotel. (We did not go to another hotel because of the cancellation policy--our budget was tight--and our 8 hour drive from home was so tiring for the disabled family member who was with us).

Property I didn't like that the property was not ADA compliant and that this was NOT MENTIONED in the hotel description ANYWHERE. We only discovered these issues at check in. Our party had a disabled person whose mobility is an issue. Some of the ADA issues: No elevator (we were told by the front desk that our disabled family member could "manage a few stairs"). No chair lift for the stairs (it looks like one was there at one time but it had been partially removed and now unusable). The bathroom was extremely tight with not much room to turn around or maneuver with a mobility device. There were various trip hazards between the many different types of flooring and levels throughout the property. The entry door lock to the hotel from the parking lot was badly rusted and did not lock. ANYONE could come into the hotel at any time. NOT SAFE! There was a sign telling us to 'excuse the construction' or something to that effect, but there was no signs of active construction going on. The property definitely needs to get going on the construction they mention as the property desperately needs it. Our Room The beds were lumpy and not comfortable at all. The paint in the bathroom was peeling and puckering off the walls, there were dried paint spatters and drips on the floor. The provided lotion in the bathroom was obviously used with dried up crud inside the lid. The key card lock for our room quit working and after getting 3 sets of replacement keys, the front desk staff came to unlock the door with a regular key and rudely made several disparaging comments to us when we asked how long it would take for maintenance to repair the door. (The maintenance guy actually arrived within 20 minutes and got the key card working again quickly).

Breakfast buffet was included and was very nice. Waffle, sausage and bacon, cereal, eggs, fruit, tea, coffee, juice and yogurt. Other things as well.

Love the big pool but the area could be cleaner. The pool was lovely.

The room was mostly clean. Under the liquid soap dispenser in the shower there was residual soap left on the shower walls. There was a plastic garbage liner placed over the smoke detectore from the previous guest, assuming they did that so they could smoke in the non smoking room. There was nobody at the front desk when I checked out so I just left a note with the room key on the counter. The breakfast setup was less than I expected.

I HAVE MOBILITY ISSUES AND I HAD TO HAUL MY LUGGAGE A LITTLE FURTHER THAN I WANTED...I ASKED TO GET IN MY ROOM A LITTLE EARLIER THAN 3 SINCE I HAD A MEETING IN MONROEVILLE AT 2...I CALLED EARLIER AND THEY SAID NO PROBLEM...WHEN I GOT THERE...THEY WOULD NOT ALLOW ME IN MY ROOM UNTIL 3...CAUSED A FEW PROBLEMS...IN ALL THE YEARS I HAVE STAYED IN MONROEVILLE THE COMFORT INN WAS THE FIRST TO DENY MY REQUEST...I DID NOT APPRECIATE THAT...IT WAS NOT LIKE I WAS ASKING TO BE ALLOWED IN MY ROOM 5 HOURS AHEAD OF TIME...JUST AN HOUR...

There was a leaky faucet dripping continuously and it was loud enough that we had to close the bathroom door so we could sleep. The toilet was not clean enough. The water for the shower was lukewarm.

When we were leaving we strip the beds, as we do everywhere we go, and we found bed bugs that we had been sleeping on all night. My husband has some bites and booking.com who we booked this through and contacted them about this refused to do anything about it or give us a refund. They acted like we made it up and we had photos. The customer service from Booking was horrible. If I hadn’t already paid for things from you all I wouldn’t use you again ever and tell everyone I know how you treat customers and the fact it’s considered a property you have a partnership from and there was no since of urgency to take care of the bed bugs in this huge hotel is scary and gross. To say Very very very disappointed and angry is an understatement . We had to stop on our trip to get all of our stuff cleaned so we don’t take them elsewhere. I am pissed and booking should be ashamed. You lost a loyal customer.
