Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Breakfast was delicious with fresh rolls and pretzels, my favorite, and huge spread of food. The hotel is close to the Munich airport which makes it an ideal stop for the night before heading to the airport. Breakfast also started at 6:30 am, which was wonderful for our early flight. We did walk to the brewery, although it is a little bit of a climb. We did drive into town to walk around then. Unfortunately, we were too late to go into any stores or the church because everything was closed already. There was one disturbance during the night out on the street with loud talking but otherwise everything was quiet and comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful night, which we would have had more time.

שני דברים חסרים מיזוג, במיוחד כאשר אירופה הולכת ומתחממת. היה מאוורר אבל ב 30 מעלות זה לא מספיק. אין מעלית, צריך לקחת בחשבון למי שיש קושי

Was very noisey. Locals sitting out side smoking and drinking to fairly late hours made it hard to have windows open (It was hot) and get a good night sleep before flying home.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026החדר מודרני, מאוד מרווח ונקי. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה מגוונת וטעימה. המלון מאוד קרוב לשדה התעופה (כרבע שעה). החדרים לא ממוזגים אבל ישנו עם חלונות פתוחים לרווחה והיה מאוד נעים. מי שרעש של מכוניות מפריע לו (לנו לא הפריע) כדאי שיבקש חדר שלא פונה לרחוב הראשי.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Wir hatten ein sehr geräumiges Zimmer mit genügend Platz für zwei Personen. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich, auf Wunsch gab es Rühr - oder Spiegelei. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Unser Zimmer ging zur Hauptstraße raus, was es etwas hellhörig machte.

The only negative was that it lacked air con and it was a bit warm at night, even though it helped that they provide a fan to cool down the room.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026This turned out to be the best solution for catching a morning flight back to California from München Flughaven. What was really great was a recently remodeled Frühstückraum with excellent selection of Brötchen, Käse, Aufschnitt, and properly cooked Halbgecocht Ei. Additionally, we really enjoyed the attached Restaurant and felt quite at home with many of the local residents. I have posted a very positive posting on Facebook indicating that this is a great value and a great Gasthof to stay at, coming in and out of München Flughaven.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026V podstatě vše bylo v pořádku. Komunikace s hotelem přes Booking, parkování zdarma, velmi vstřícný personál.
Cena byla v čase veletrhu v Mnichově vyšší, než jsme původně očekávali :-( Hlavním problémem bylo to, že jsem do Feisingu přijel v době extrémního vedra. Pokoje (ani můj tzv. nadstadard) nebyly vybaveny klimatizací. Teplota na pokoji byla 30 stupňů a nespal jsem dobře. To je ale spíše otázka do budoucna. V České republice jsou hotely a penziony již vybaveny klimatizací běžně. Ale jako říkám byla to extrémní vedra, Jinak je hotel ok.

Lage etwas zu weit außerhalb von Freising (hätte ich selbst vorher sehen müssen). Abendessenqualität gut, aber nicht sehr gut (hier: Leberspätzlesuppe, Tafelspitz).

Reviewed May 15, 2026A very well run hotel with friendly staff and owners. A great restaurant meant that we didn't need to go into town for dinner. The location is a little off the beaten track for foreign tourists, but a bus service from right outside with regular frequency and a digital noticeboard makes it very convenient for travelling into Freising and Munich. Breakfast is excellent.
German pillows are too soft (but all the hotels in Germany are probably the same). We had a lovely big room and bathroom with a window, but a mini fridge and kettle would have been a nice addition.

Reviewed Apr 18, 2026Das Zimmer groß und sehr sauber, auch das Bad. Alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden und praktisch. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, parken am Haus.
Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb von Freising in Vötting. Deshalb ist es nicht so einfach, ein Lokal zu erreichen, wenn der Gasthof geschlossen ist. In meinem Fall hatte das nächstgelegene Bräustüberl in Weihenstefan eine geschlossene Veranstaltung. Dann muss man etwas länger in die Stadt wandern.

Reviewed Dec 8, 2025Mostly, I loved Gasthof Lerner because it is NOT a huge chain hotel. Cozy corner Gasthof with its own restaurant, easy walking distance to famous brewery Weihenstephan. Wonderful beds, pillows and bathroom. Our room was spotless. Included breakfast was easy full and delicious buffet. We will return to this property!
