Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat

The hotel is hard to find as Google took us to the wrong area. When we got to our room and turned on the lights in the bathroom, several cockroaches scattered, so not the best nights sleep worrying about the roommates.

Good location between Mérida and Tren Maya train station. This restored colonial house has a great pool, in a tranquil setting and is surrounded by fruit trees that help make breakfast delicious.

Excellent servicio

We were very happy and highly satisfied to choose this Hacienda, such a lovely place! The room was so clean and big enough for 3 members. They are friendly, I have nothing to say except WONDEFUL Place to stay.

Genial!! El sitio te transporta a otra época!! La atención muy cálida y amable!! 🙌

Lovely original Hacienda building, outstanding spatious room high ceilings and great decor. Quiet location still near Merida metropolitan area (Kanasin), quick access from the highway.

Far exceeds a 10/10 review Beautiful property, amazing attentive hosts, excellent location that is easy to find. Pet friendly and fully gated/fenced to allow pups to roam safely. So glad we got to experience such amazing hospitality

La estetica de hacienda

Muy bonita la habitación, atención super amable. El desayuno bueno. Muy bueno todo!

Really well maintained. Very cozy , very friendly people. Garden my favorite.

Lovely property and grounds, and owners/managers were exceptionally helpful and resourceful.

Excelente un lugar hermoso, excelente atención y servicio.

Little oasis of green and peace, great location for airport and exploring the area

A hidden gem in the city. Close to the main road to Cancun and Chichen Itza. Unexpected delight!

Beautiful Hacienda with lovely grounds and friendly owner. Pool was great. Room was luxurious and I felt like a Princess for a day. I do recommend bringing plenty of your own water and some food, especially if arriving late and to tiered to go back out and look for some, but if not the owner can order you a rather good pizza from nearby. In any event, treat yourself to a stay here!

Iona and JR are such gracious hosts from the time we arrive until the moment that we leave. The room is comfortable and spacious, the gardens are lush and beautiful and the pool is amazing. The hacienda is gorgeous and the atmosphere is so relaxing, I highly recommend.

Very friendly owners. Other employees were also friendly and kind. The place is super peaceful and quiet.

Wow !!! I will only have fond memories of my stay here. The grounds are well kept with lush gardens with a lovely pool and even a koi pond. The room was spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was delightful. The owners are so gracious and welcoming Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat is an enchanting and relaxing place to stay. It's almost a must to have a car if staying here but if not uber and trici taxis are available to keep you mobile.

It was an amazing property with lots of charm and character, had some of the most comfortable beds in Mexico.

Excellent hospitality. We had a lovely and very spacious what I like to call a suite to ourselves. Everything was relaxed, laid back and great. Thank you to our hosts. The one tiny minor thing I would improve is the shower head in our bathroom, it needs to be fixed as it had very little water pressure and water.

Everything was perfect! Amazing hospitality, beautiful property, we absolutely loved it and will definitely recommend and return when we visit the Mérida area. Plus we feel we have some great new friends.

The most telaxed we have been since driving into Mexico 5 days ago. Quaint, clean and comfortable with real hot water. The rain shower was awesone. Our hist Iona is tremendous, we hadnt eaten all day and she ordered a pizza for us. Highly recommend this establishment.

Jolie hacienda, piscine reposante.

Very large complex and quiet.........................................

Husband was concerned about the neighborhood, but he didn't realize everyone puts bars on their doors and windows in Latin America. Only issue is that GPS takes you to the back instead of the main gate. Very kind and helpful hosts.

A nice oasis just outside the hustle-and-bustle of Merida. Once I set the filters for my search criteria the two leading contenders were this place (Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat) vs. the Hampton Inn hotel in Merida. I much rather prefer for spend my money with a local business owner than to throw it at a big international hotel chain. And since I had a car, this was an easy decision. I'm glad I did. Stay here was very peaceful and relaxing. The owner was extremely hospitable and it felt like home. The staff was great, beds comfortable, pool refreshing, ample hot water in the shower and breakfast was quite filling. I would certainly recommend this place to others looking to stay in or around Merida. You won't regret it.

It was amazing place to all passengers I believe! Hotel owner was so friendly and kind to all of us. She makes dinner plan at the nice local restaurant and we really enjoyed these food! Thanks again Ayona, I hope to see you see you again soon!!

Comida agradable, jardines muy bonitos, alberca rustica limpia, mucha amabilidad

Great Hacienda and breakfast. Don't let the surrounding area deter you from staying here. It is a jewel in itself.

We had a wonderful stay! Iona was a great hostess. We arrived late and she helped us get dinner. Her breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious and well decorated. We also had our two large dogs that she was very welcoming to. They loved running around the large property. We also loved the pool and other amenities. We look forward to staying there again.

The personalized attention from the owner makes the experience feels like spending a weekend with family but in a gorgeous small former hacienda that's run by a Canadian couple that have embraced the Mexican tradition of family and they treat every guest as such. This is not the traditional Hacienda experience, this is more than that, it's similar to a B&B experience when on some days the owner will herself fix your personalized breakfast. The place is 2 minutes from highway exit from Merida to Valladolid - Cancún, place in the little town of the same name which is as colorful as any small Yucatecan town, but anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes from big shopping malls and from downtown Merida. Will definitely go back.

The location of the hotel gives you easy access to all historical areas. The manager and staff were very helpful, clean comfortable rooms. Very pet friendly.

Comfortable and homely place. Hosts have been very friendly and caring. Its a pet friendly place, which made it feel more like home with dogs and cats walking around and chilling in the shade.

Hacienda entierement renovee, tres confortable, tres calme et tres agreable.

This is a charming property with a refreshing pool, a big garden and great breakfast. It's close to the federal highway so it's easy to get on and off without having to drive into Merida. I would recommend this for a relaxed stay. You can see the owner is taking pride in the history of the property and genuinely cares for not only the guests but the employees.

The setting was beautiful and peaceful, room clean and comfortable. The hacienda is a bit far from central Merida, but it was easy to take the bus or catch a taxi.

Quite a find. Really handy location in village on outskirts of central Merida. Lofty rooms and fabulous gardens. Its certainly original if not a little quirky. For a taste of hacienda days of old it was quite fun. Really enjoyed just wish had a little more time! Certainly the best breakfast we had of all our stays in Yucatan with delicious eggs benedict one morning and great pancakes the next. Thats in addition to the usual fruit plate which is a staple.

The Hacienda is a short drive from the city of Merida, but it is like an oasis in a small town. Iona and JR made us feel like family, and were so helpful. The Hacienda is like a luxurious step back in time. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable, the grounds are private and delightful, and the food is outstanding; be sure to try Iona's margaritas. We are heading back there soon!
