Very clean room, nice daily cleaning services by the great and kind staff Clean pool, nice AC in the room, good quality bed , big size refregrator and lots of lights in the room

Rimelig og greit hotell, ikke mange minuttene fra stranda. Gikk ned på ca 6 minutter. Ingen mat eller mulighet til å kjøpe noe på hotellet, men 7 eleven og butikker er rett ved. Grei frokost rett over gata også. Det er et lite kjøleskap på rommet, og de fyller opp kaffe og vannflasker hver dag. Hyggelig betjening, og du får byttet strandhåndklær hver dag om du vil. Koselig grøntområde på baksiden med basseng. Opplevde oppholdet som et rolig sted. Vi fikk rengjøring på rommet hver dag.

Stod på hotels att det fanns restaurang och att det gick köpa frukost. Fanns ingen restaurang. Stod även vad frukosten kostade,🙄 vart ganska så besviken! Och står det finns barn pool, den är typ 1dm med vatten sen finns det inget skydd ut mot det djupa vattnet. Dåligt 👎 men annars fin pool och rummet var ok.

Pool side rooms quiet street side more noise with traffic. Swimming pool varying nice and quiet and not vary busy. 5 minute walk to the main beach of Kamala and vary nice beach and swimming in the ocean.

Stannade 9 nätter. Skön säng, ren pool och överlag städat och fint. 5 minuters promenad till stranden. Bra med möjligheter att handla frukost/lunch på bageri i närheten samt nära till supermarket och McD. Kändes väldigt prisvärt .

The hotel location is very good . Near the hotel is many big markets like big-c , 7-eleven , Mcdonald, Tops and more . Way to the beach less than 10 minutes. The staff people very nice and kind always. We miss them . We will go many many times again .

Room was clean and the bed was big and comfortable. We had a premium room with a balcony. It was very quiet. But the whole hotel is rather tired looking and could do with some TLC. It is a good location, about a 10 min walk to the beach with the big C and other supermarkets nearby. There was also an excellent, very local restaurant about 5 mins walk away, Nikoy boat noodles.

Grymt hotel för mig och mina 3 vänner

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights. It's located a short walk from the beach and its situated perfectly near the Big C supermarket and around a great variety of bars and restaurants. The staff are very welcoming and super accommodating. Sweet little hotel with well kept rooms and facilities. Recommend for couples and travellers, value for money.

This is a small hotel, which is what I sometimes prefer when going on a run-vacation as it is quiet and relaxing. The room was kept clean and the hotel is located in a great location with the Kamala beach and shops all are accessible on foot. I was allocated a room with a small balcony facing the pool, and had great views of the surrounding areas. The hosts/staff were also very warm and freindly. Kop kun krap to Sungthong and all the kind staff, I absolutely recommend this hotel.

Stayed here last year so when I was back in Phuket again, decided to use this hotel as my base again. I like it as it is very close to Big C supermarket, a night market, the airport Smart bus route, beach and restaurants and good value. Rooms are big and clean with cable, TV, fridge, kettle, lay dry service etc.

When I arrived and the door to my room on the top floor opened, it looked so amazing, a big bright & airy clean room with a great view over Kamala. At just over 700bt a night, amazing value & proved to be a great stay Everything worked as expected, bed very comfy, decent pool, a quiet location, beach within 10mins walk, and Big C supermarket within 5mins walk, with many more shops, restaurants & bars along the main road & down little side streets The staff were all friendly and very helpful My 1st stay in Kamala, a great beach and having a great hotel made it so good. Certainly a place I will stay again on my next visit to Kamala, as I am really impressed by this hotel

Pleasantly surprised with my large room and how clean it was for the low price. I overlooked the front of the hotel which is close to the busy main road, but I slept fine. Small pool was nice with not many people using it. If you turn right out of the hotel, it is about 5 minutes walk to get to a rocky beach and 7-Eleven, then a further 5 minutes to the main part of Kamala beach. Big C supermarket is a couple of minutes walk away with heaps of restaurants around. The main bus stop to the airport or Patong is really close by. Room had a big fridge, Wi-Fi was good but my shower didn’t drain away (and no English TV channels) but other than that can recommend this hotel. Judging by all the books in the lobby, lots of Scandinavians stay there!

Hotellet begynner å bli slitent, og standarden er ikke spesielt høy. De ansatte har sterkt begrensede språkkunskaper og mangler grunnleggende forståelse for hva som forventes av Europiske gjester. Dette da spesielt med hensyn til måltids innhold, tilberedelse og servering.

We stayed for 2 nights and could have stayed longer. Hotel and rooms very really comfy, pool area was very nice. Location was okay, around 1 km from the beach. Big C supermarket just around the corner. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Price range was really good. We liked our stay very much.

Kleines Hotel in der Nähe vom Kamala Beach. Tagsüber ist der Strand fußläufig ohne Probleme in ca. 10min zu erreichen. In direkter Nähe ist ein großer Supermarkt. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist, dass der Airport Bus fast direkt vor dem Hotel hält und somit eine Anreise vom Flughafen kostengünstig und einfach funktioniert. Die direkte Umgebung des Hotels ist nicht sonderlich schön und der Weg abends zum Strand bzw. zur Restaurantmeile am Kamala Beach führt entlang einer maßig beleuchteten Straße. Das Personal, hier speziell Mr. Tee ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hierfür nochmal Dankeschön. Alles in allem kann man dieses Hotel empfehlen, da das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis einfach passt.

All staff most welcoming, friendly & helpful from start to finish. Especially Mr T, Mr O at reception & Mr O in the restaurant, all so smiley:-) We stayed for two weeks which was very enjoyable. We were allocated a nice, quiet room which was what we requested on booking. The room was spacious, clean & with a comfortable bed. Loved the well kept gardens & pool area too. Located centrally in Kamala for supermarket, restaurants, bars, beach & bus stops. Highly recommend.

This hotel has the great advantage of being located close to Kamala Beach. The staff are really nice, helpful and welcoming. However, the Deluxe room are extremely noisy as the road down is pretty busy (maybe better to book the rooms on the other side with swimming pool view). We booked for three adults, supposedly 1 king bed and one single bed. The single bed ended up being a very narrow couch under the curtains impossible to move and extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast was quite good. Strictly no water available after a certain hour in the evening (we weren’t warned about this so couldn’t shower, wash hands etc when coming back in the evening)

Big rooms! Very clean and helpful staff. We only stayed one night but my parents stayed longer and all of us liked our stay. For the price you cannot find better

Stayed here for 2 weeks and had the best holiday ever !! Staff are all very friendly and welcoming,they really cant do enough for you . The room was clean and spacious. The pool area was beautiful and kept very clean. Breakfast was simple but delicious with fresh omelettes cooked by Mr O every day. Big thank you to Mr T and all his staff for making sure that our holiday was the best ever .

A Very Special THANKS to Mr Tee and his team for this perfect hotel , 8 min from the main beach Kamala, the room is comfi even the one on the street , the garden with flowers and trees is beautiful and very well maintained, nice swiming pool and a sweet breakfast with a wonderful staff. Sungthong Kamala was very good service fine and prompt. close to Big C store for snacks better than 7-eleven. Out of front to left across parking lot to street. down about 400 yards.

Das Bett war einfach ein Traum. Sehr groß, schön und total bequem. Hervorzuheben ist auch die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Die konnten sich immer an unsere Namen erinnern und haben häufig nachgefragt, ob aich alles passt oder ob wir Hilfe brauchen. Mit der Sauberkeit haben sie es nicht so ernst genommen. Flecken in der Dusche und Getränkeränder auf dem Tisch. Aber das war auch das einzig negative.

Vi fick byta rum efter första natten, felbokade ? Fick Då våra riktiga rum. Trista rum med minimal balkong mot en trist pool. Ser bättre ut på bilder . Vi åkte på båttur och blev lovade frukost innan start av frukost. Ingen frukost fanns och vi fick åka utan. Sura oförstående miner. Hotell och restaurang olika ägare. Svensk personal i form av ung man som var ointresserad av att ge service. Verkade inte vilja visa att han pratade svenska och skulle kunna vara en stor tillgång för hotellet om han hade en skylt på sig att han pratar svenska. Annan personal pratade dålig engelska. Positivt var taxi chaufför som var mycket på hotellet. Bokade längre transport av till bra pris.

Very good location 5min walk from the beach, close to stores and restaurants. The manager Mr Tee was extremely helpful and fun. Even though it was low season, the hotel was very well maintained, and we were able to enjoy a clean pool. There is no elevator, which wasn’t a problem for us. The room was big, clean and nicely decorated. We’d stay again for sure!

The resort and room we stayed in were excellent and spotlessly clean. All the staff were more than happy to help. Food costs are more than acceptable and of a really good standard. The bed large and comfortable. Swimming pools and area large with plenty of sunbeds. We would recommend the resort and had no issues at all.

Good for the price.

Hubby and I stayed at Kamala Beach resort from 4th April for 10 days. We found it really nice. The four pools were clean. No children under 16 years old was a great idea. Our room was an upgrade. It was very nice. Always cleaned perfectly every day. Breakfast was great. They also made a fuss of our 45th wedding anniversary. They were very friendly. A bit too quiet for us, but nice.

A really nice little hotel with friendly staff, but missing a drinks service , we possibly would have spent more time there as the pool area was really nice .

Fint och fräscht hotell. Fint poolområde Dock längre till stranden än vad vi trodde. Den första delen av stranden som beräkningen är gjord på, kan man ej bada på I efterhand kom vi på att vi antagligen hade någon form av loppor i sängen. Och att våra utslag inte var pga myggor...

Everything was nice, price comparing to quality was good. Hotel was clean, property in good condition, location was really good (five minutes walk to most popular restaurants / beach). Staff was friendly and helpful, everything worked just fine - I recommend!

The area around the hotel is not so good, unkempt and smelly in places. It is in a good location being only 5 minutes from beach, shops and restaurants. The "restaurant "on site is only open 8 to 8 and has a limited menu and there is no bar. There is a 7/11 shop across the road for anything required. Rooms were large and bed was huge and comfortable and there was air conditioning. Great shower, big and roomy. The hotel was clean and all the staff were very helpful. Our main gripe is that for a hotel of approximately 40 rooms, there were only 6 sunbeds. As we are not beachy people, we had to get up early to put a towel on the bed to reserve it. Our room was described as garden/mountain view. Yes we could see the mountains to the side of the balcony if we leaned over it but directly in front was just greenery and on a main road. No sign of a garden. NO double glazing of course so was very noisy, not at all pleasant to sit out on.

Very late arriving (02:00) due to flight delays etc. Hotel manager, 'Mr T' met us at the roadside with a big smile and warm welcome and helped us with our luggage. Stayed in Superior double room with pool view. Large room with the biggest bed we've ever slept in and good shower, safe, kettle etc. Generally clean and tidy with helpful and friendly staff (very good English speaking reception staff) and the pool was lovely. Breakfast included was a choice of 3 dishes together with fruit juice and coffee/tea which as all ok. I especially liked the chicken rice soup with chilli on the side. Downsides: Hotel could do with a 'freshen up' in decoration and cleaning of rooms (dusting etc) could be alot better. On the whole we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Clean, calm, regular hotel. We stayed for two nights when we arrived from the airport. The staff was nice and helpful! Our room was at the road side - and it was quite noisy, so if you want less noise, ask for a poolside room. Well worth the money.

I just spent 1 night here as a returning guest and the place has gone from an 8/10 to a 2/10, although clean enough our previous visit was great but this occasion i noticed no coffee in my room (nothing major but i like a coffee when i wake up) so as i was on my way out i mentioned to a male/female couple at reception (1 of which had bulging red eyes spaced out of his head) and was told "yes we just small hotel no have coffee"..... ok then just the tea bag and 4 sachets of sugar. The next morning i think ok I'll go down have my breakfast and a coffee to walk into an empty breakfast area and be told "no breakfast" . Not sure what happened to this place but safe to say I shalln't be back there, nor will i recomend it to anyone else it's not the place it once was.

Wir hatten einen schönen aufenthalt im Hotel Sungthong. Die Mitarbeitern sind sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit..Umgebung ist auch schön da Big C Supermarket in die nähe ist.. Strand ist am Fuss schnell erreichbar..Und gegenüber Big C gibt es einen Frische Markt mit Produkten wie Obst und Gemüse und auch etwas lokales essbares zu verkaufen..Sind lecker und frisch zubereitet..Gerne wir werden wieder kommen! Mr.T und die gesamte Team sind super! :)

Was recommended by friend on this hotel for 4days. Family oriented hotel and being served by Mr T warm hospitality. Decent environment with swimming which cost about 1,000 baht per night. Service was great as Mr T went extra miles to ensure we being properly taken care of. When the service is good, all other consideration will not be a factor. Quiet surrounding in the evening with few pubs. Big C supermarket is a plus factor nearby. Rental a bike will be recommended moving in between places.

We stayed here for 4 weeks recently and enjoyed our stay very much. Location was good, not too far to walk to the beach and the main village street. Yes it is not a luxury hotel but it has everything you need. Bed very comfortable and room had basic clean every day. Hotel grounds and swimming pool very well kept - thanks to the gardener!! We ate quite a few times in the restaurant for breakfast and lunch, and the food was excellent. We did not have breakfast included so can't comment on the buffet, but the breakfasts we ordered from the menu were very good. WiFi and TV signal not too strong in the room at times. Would recommend upper room overlooking pool. We would definitely stay here again. The staff were one of the best things at this hotel. They were all very friendly and helpful. Thankyou Mr Tee and your hotel team and thanks for all the little "gifts" you gave us. We hope to see you again.

Had a very pleasant stay at the Sung thong Kamala Beach Resort. A 10 minute walk to the main beach with bars & restaurants all within easy reach.

We needed a hotel to spend the night that was on a budget because were flying in quiete late and don’t want to get expensive hotel and this one worked out just fine. The room and everything else is clean and pleasant and welcoming. Pool area is nice and quiet well very good hotel for those who are on budget.

The hotel was just ok. Not very clean. Bathroom had mold.

Located just 10 minutes from Kamala Beach, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The main owner spoke excellent English and was helpful. In addition, the rooms were extremely quiet, unlike many other hotels I've stayed at in Thailand. I would recommend this hotel for any family looking for a peaceful stay.

Exactly what you would expect in this standard of hotel. Location is good for access to town and beach. Management very helpful and smiling. Pool is good with plenty of sunbeds. Will definitely stay again.
