I loved the location! The room and bed were super clean and comfy! Water pressure in the shower was awesome

The only thing that I would have loved would be a detachable shower read so be able to rinse the shower after! And king sized pillows would have been lovely but still super cozy and nice.

Love the lighting in the room and the layout of the room. I had to adjust my stay and contacted the property directly and the man who assisted me was very accommodating and happy to help.

When I got my confirmation from the hotel directly, the price for the stay wasn't listed anywhere, which was confusing. I wish there were some kid friendly things to do besides the pool! I know it's a casino but I saw some positive reviews from families before booking that made me think this would be a good option for kids. There was no reason for me to stay on property with my kids.

We recently stayed at Blue Lake Hotel & Casino and had a very enjoyable experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. We requested that our pillows be changed to foam pillows, and they happily took care of it. They also provided extra towels without hesitation. Our room was clean and comfortable, and room service was impressively quick. The food was decent, and while it wasn’t a culinary destination, it certainly met our expectations after a long day of traveling. The pool is on the small side, but it served its purpose and was a nice place to relax. Unfortunately, the hot tub jets weren’t working during our visit, which was disappointing. We also found it difficult to regulate the room’s heating and cooling system, making it challenging to keep the temperature comfortable. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path, but don’t let that discourage you—it’s definitely worth the drive if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay. Families should know that there aren’t many activities for children beyond the swimming pool. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would absolutely stay here again. The outstanding customer service and clean accommodations made for a positive experience.

The location of our room was on the first floor and I asked for a higher room but they said that they had no idea how much longer the wait would be for a higher room. Check in was at 4 and it was 5 o’clock by the time we got our original room, so we didn’t want to wait any longer. I’ve never been asked to wait for a room after check in time. We waited in the lobby with all of our things. I paid extra for a balcony and my balcony was attached to the pool, see photo. This made it unusable and we had to keep the blackout curtains closed at all times otherwise everyone at the pool was looking straight into our room. When the people above us walked it sounded like stomping. Our room was across the hall from vending machines and ice which was also noisy. To top it all off, the bed was very uncomfortable. We didn’t get much sleep for 3 nights.

The location

At the only restaurant open on that night they were filming the customers for some kind of promotion. If you refused to be filmed then they would not allow you to be seated and be served. As the second restaurant was closed we had no other option but to either get in our car and drive to another town or not have a meal that evening.

The room was exceptional. Great space. Very clean. Staff was very nice. I arrived early and they got me the room on the first floor like I originally requested, which I really appreciated. When I checked out in my motorcycle gear the lady who checked me out offered me a bottle of water for the trip. I thought that was very kind

This wasn't really a bad thing but I wanted to go to one of the restaurants that was recommended when I checked in but it happened to be closed the day that I was there which was midweek so that was a little disappointing. Not sure why the casino that's open 24 hours a day would close a restaurant because there weren't not that many options close by but not a big deal

I loved this hotel. It felt and looked new, and had so many fun things to do.

We stayed in a room with two queens and were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. They were on the larger size with plenty of space to place your belongings. The lighting was decent but bring a reading light if you enjoy reading before bed. The bathroom was also spacious and modern. If you are sensitive to loud noises, perhaps you'll want to reconsider staying at this hotel. The toilets have some sort of extremely loud flush, similar to an airplane toilet. I bet these toilets never get clogged. They are LOUD, especially in the middle of the night. We had the unfortunate situation of having a loud group above us. They were stomping around the room until 3am and were back at it at 7am. We had to call to report a noise complaint, twice. I know this isn't an issue with the hotel in terms of service but if you're unlucky enough to have loud people above you, good luck. We even heard them flush their toilet a good five times in the middle of the night. Other than that, the room itself was nice.

The whole area is easily accessible from this location- From seeing Orick elk to Fortuna. We drove through the Redwoods, spent time at the Pacific Ocean and enjoyed a walk on the Redwood Sky Walk. Room was a good size, very clean, quiet and staff was always pleasant.

Everything was clean, parking and check-in was easy, room was luxurioius with everything we needed. Looks just like in the pictures. Really spacious room.

I don't understand showers that can only be made hotter by increasing the pressure. It doesn't save water at all. Otherwise a really nice bathroom, but not that practical.

We came up for an event this past weekend. It is a scenic 20ish minute drive from Eureka so very convenient if you don't want to stay in town. The rooms have been updated and there is food and reasonable gas all on-site. The skillet breakfast at Alice's was delicious. We would definitely stay again.

Boyfriend and I booked during Memorial Day weekend so we could do a redwood trip and enjoy the Northern California coast. We're not big gamblers but the hotel is lovely, the staff is very kind and accommodating. However we were surprised to see the amount of children staying in the hotel/casino, a lot of who were running around without adults. Friday was especially bad with many children running around outside unattended in the parking lot area of the casino as well as sitting in all the chairs in the lobby, greeting everyone with a sullen stare the moment the elevator doors opened. Friday night we had to call the front desk to send someone up to quiet down the many children running up and down the hallway screaming and arguing around 11:00pm. Apparently their parents weren't embarrassed enough to stay with their children once security pulled them from the casino floor (classy) to tell them their children were disturbing guests who were trying to sleep. While Greg, the night auditor handled the situation well, the kids were still allowed to be unattended. It's not an experience I wanted in a place that almost exclusively caters to adults and major reason I booked a casino hotel.

Loved that I did not have to walk through the casino to check-in or get to my room. Lobby was clean and tastefully appointed. Room was quiet, spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. My boyfriend rented us a room for the night so we could go out and have a nice dinner, gamble and drink without having to worry about driving home. We spent a crazy amount on our room, dinner , drinks and the machines. I feel like my boyfriend was discriminated against from the beginning. As soon as we sat down to play our first machine he ordered a beer, the waitress asked him how many he’s had and wasn’t going to serve him. Then after that we got his beer and had dinner and continued to play their machines . People at the bar had no issues serving him or me . Then after Leaving the bar we went to play with the last of our money before going up to our room , I played a machine, he walked around the tables( without a drink) trying to see which table to play and was confronted by a security guard ( we assumed) because he refused to identify himself and wanted my boyfriend’s name to tell him he had been cut off. He wasn’t even holding a drink!! My boyfriend has mental and physical disabilities… so to assume he was drunk without even holding alcohol is beyond me!! We will not be coming back to this harassment hotel again and we will be telling our friends and family!! This is beyond NOT OK!!! Don’t waste your money here!!!

We had a great time staying here. This is our go to place for ourselves and friends/family. The hotel and the rooms are always super clean and comfortable. The staff is so helpful and friendly. They anticipate your needs.

This was my first time at Blue Lake Casino Hotel. I was there for work so I didn't go into the casino but I heard from others that it's nice. I was really impressed with the size of my room, the amenities and most of all, the cleanliness. I used to own an inn so I know how hard it is to maintain high standards but my standards were exceeded at Blue Lake. The room and bathroom were spotless and everything was in working order which was really awesome. All of the little places that collect dirt in a hotel room were totally clean and I felt like I could walk on the floor without flip flops which I've never done, ever. I have to compliment the housekeeping team, whatever you're doing is working and it shows. Even the iron and the coffee maker were like new. It was cold when I was there and the heat worked fast and well which made my stay comfortable. Not only was my room super clean, the grounds of the hotel were too. No dirt or dust anywhere on the pool and outside furniture, a sparkling pool and a spa that seemed to be heated 24/7. Plants and grounds all maintained and looking beautiful, too. I did have some interactions with the front desk team members and they were all welcoming, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this property, they're doing everything right and it shows!

Incredible clean rooms, friendly staff, and amazing food options. I went to Alice's restaurant for burger night, and the options were more than exciting. The burger was cooked perfectly with a pleasant taste. Best of all, we were surprised by Trivia night, which usually happens every other Tuesday. I just happened to be there at the right time. I highly recommend staying at Blue Lake Casino Hotel. I sure will be.

The room was great quiet clean no issues bed was soft other than issues with pressure from shower it was amazing. The casino was a great experience for what it was. Clean all around friendly staff great experience. The food was the issue. Not many choices in the morning not vary appetizing choices small cramped area felt vary last minute style of location choice and presentation. Inflated prices for basic cold choices.

King size room, big and looked newly remodeled. Loved the color scheme. It had many amenities: Keurig coffee, mini-fridge, microwave, lockbox, BIG tv, lots of lighting, spacious bathroom with extra towels, and a comfortable bed. I would definitely stay again if the price was right.

Pricing was a little high for my pocketbook, but lodging options are VERY minimal for the area. The attached casino was nice, but I was a bit disappointed with the menu options at Alice's Diner; however, what I ordered was tasty.
