Stevenson Inn & Spa

It was a really enjoyable experience. Steven was an awesome host. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here a few times and always a wonderful experience.

Accommodations were ideal as I was only staying for one night . Great bed , quiet room . Lots of space after breakfast to catch-up with necessary email and work before leaving

The property was nice and cozy. The highlight of the stay were the host. They are awesome. They take such good care of you and go out of their way to ensure that you are comfortable. Highly recommended.

Stevenson, the owner was really unique & his hospitality was par excellence. I stayed here for 2 nights & experience was memorable. Although we had taken the small rooms but we were provided anything we asked for. The service was amazing. It’s an old building but one can feel the ancient atmosphere. I will highly recommend the property for at least one time experience.

Staff was excellent and we had a great time relaxing by the campfire, and the beautiful property

Great little gem with lots of history in proximity to a nice wonderful small town with great restaurants. The SPA was awesome!

Second time staying here while visiting friends. The staff is unbelievable, and very accommodating for dietary restrictions. It's a very quaint, vintage spot and is very stylish. Will always chose this spot when I'm in the area.

Great host and stay

It’s in an old historic mansion. Cool

Amazing property.

Beautiful

Great place.

Good place

Great!

Interesting and unique property with lots of nice history which has been maintained nicely through the inn.

Absolutely beautiful, definitely recommend and will be going back.

A beautiful rustic traditional BnB. Will definitely stay with them again.

The Inn has an interesting historical past. The owners are very welcoming. The place has loads of character and is a nice change from the typical hotel experience. Definitely recommended.

Booked this for my son who had to be the area Lovely inn. Quaint. Perfect for quiet retreat

What a great place. With a great staff and an owner Steve who was hands on and a great host. My wife and mother went to the spa and had an amazing experience. What an amazing bed and breakfast experience. Manny Legace

Really cool old house. Very pretty. Staff were quite friendly. They also have fun events like scotch tasting.

Loved the beautiful entrance, outdoor area, breakfast room, lobby. It was all very pretty!

We were in town for a hockey tournament and were looking for a place to relax rather than the big hotels with lots of teams. We had the most amazing time at the inn, quiet, peaceful and it turned our busy weekend into a relaxing holiday. The room was great; cozy and we all slept great. It felt like we had our own private home from home. Breakfast was perfect to pick up and go when we had to be out early and the staff were warm and friendly, taking care of us so well. We'll be staying again, hockey or not!

Midweek romantic getaway at the Stevenson had a lot of great things going for it. The property is beautiful as is the bucolic setting but Allison is not far if you need anything. A few downsides : 1) our room, the Elspeth en-suite was great but wallpaper was pealing and the room could do with a refresh. And daily mais service would have been a nice touch. However loved the tub and old furniture. 2) breakfast. The continental is underwhelming. Toast, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee/tea. Bare minimum. No cheese, cold cuts, homemade items. You could pay $25 for a hot breakfast supplement but that seemed steep. It wouldn’t have taken much effort to have a far better breakfast. We would definitely stay again because the old house is simply beautiful and filled with old furniture and accessories. It’s just the basic hotel stuff that could be better.

I expected better. Room with bathrooms as per photo. Small room. We should not return and not recommend.

Ideal for a quiet comfortable retreat from the noisy city

Cette proprieter a plus de 200 ans dans la meme famille . L internet fonctionne tres bien et vite On peut marcher sur le terrain ils ont des chevals s est un spa en meme temps tres beau et tranquille

It’s a great place to be with friends and family, they’re friendly and supportive I really enjoyed and recommend this place.

I loved it here! Will definitely continue to be back 💖

Awesome!

Enjoyed our stay. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

The Stephenson Spa is a gorgeous 200 year old farmhouse that gives you exactly what youd expect from a 200 y/o farmhouse. Magnificient charm and character that cant be compared against any other hotel. If you get the chance to stay please treat yourself you wont be disappointed

Very decent place how ever not worth the money

Nice owners and great taste smoothie

Our stay was short but spectacular! Such a warm welcome and amazing hospitality. The room was super clean and so cozy. The inn is breathtaking. We didn't have the time this visit to enjoy the spa... Looking forward to a second stay :)

Country at its best

This place is very charming but quite remote from other services.

A charming, creaky old building with lots of character. A great place to get away, enjoy nature, and appreciate history and peace and quiet.

Rooms were small but very clean. No room for a chair. Breakfast was very good

Very informative with history and helpful with restaurant recommendation. Continental breakfast was superior to any other experience. Would happily return in future and recommend others to stay there.

I loved the ladies who worked there. The breakfast was perfect…especially Sonia’s smoothies. The bed was comfortable. The tub was clean and inviting. The spa did a great job on my pedi. It was close to quaint towns to visit.

Rustic apperance and area

The ambiance was great. Pleasant to deal with Shower not friendly to people with disabilities

If you like old properties with creaking floors, very slow running water, so a good shower is out of the question, and not able to walk into the spa and book a massage, then this property is for you. It took 3 days for them to call me back to confirm our stay, I would not recommend it.

Beautiful, quiet setting with a ton of history. The owners are very engaging and accommodating. The fire pit, with a drink from the VERY well stocked bar was an added bonus at the end of the day! Only wish we had more time at this wonderful property.

A quiet quaint beautiful B and B Lovely rooms, service and breakfast Thank you, we will come again

We did not stay very long so we did not have a chance to enjoy the property. It was however a beautiful sight at night with the recent snowfall blanketing the building and the landscape.

Amazing spot! Great owners!

The staff was amazing.

Quick stay but great experience and would definitely go back!

Charming and beautiful, very comfortable stay.

Beautiful

Very nice atmosphere and staff is very friendly.

A beautiful property with a unique history. Beautiful grounds. Suzanne and Stephen were great hosts.

This was a beautiful house with a very interesting history. Loved learning the story of the home.

Cool place, the building is about 200 years old. Public shower, a pair of slipper might be a useful tool for the newcomers. $25 per person for the hot breakfast, which includes one slice of tomato, one slice of toast, two eggs, two slice of bacon, and a flower from the property's backyard. The lady behind the counter would like us to tip her on the top of our room rate plus the breakfast.

Amazing eclectic unique place! Highly recomend. The owners and staff were super professional and amazing!

I had a lovely stay at Stevenson Farms B&B. I was there for work and it was a great spot. The room was comfortable, with an ensuite two piece washroom. The house is approaching 200 years old, so there are some characteristics—like creaking floors and plumbing—that are a bit different. But they just add to the experience of staying in such an historical home. Also, the breakfast is DELICOUS. I would definitely recommend staying!

Historical building with a time travel experience, fresh farm air, close to many small beautiful neighbouring towns, lots to see… a must try.

It’s like A Rural Hotel With Family Oriented Hospitality..

We enjoyed staying at this historic farmhouse!! Thank you Sonia for making us feel so welcome! Your down to earth disposition left a great impression on us. Having our morning coffee in the yard was very peaceful, as a gardener I appreciated the flowerbeds. Really nice experience, thank you for your hospitality.

Beautiful property and wonderful staff.

If you like old houses, this is the place for you. The rooms were filled with antiques with all of the modern conveniences like a mini fridge and microwave. Having the older style washroom is beautiful, however in the room we were in I would caution seniors on the tub.

Rural atmosphere and a bar. Have your cake and eat it too.

Antiq

Really enjoy this place. Great for a romantic getaway

Rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was top notch. So much history to look at in every room.

The staff are wonderfully attentive and friendly. The spa services were exceptional. My only disappointment was the condition of the "full" bathroom in our room. The photos are misleading. The toilet closet in the William Milne room is in very rough space. The tiny sink has faucets that are difficult to operate, the basin was discoloured, and was slow to drain. The overall farmhouse experience of the accommodations is very charming but I would have liked to see a plumbing upgrade at this price point.

It was very quiet. We would definitely do it again, but for much longer. No regrets.

Lovely historic rural property - quiet with wonderful hosts.

B&B are usually unique & this was no exception. With still some covid 19 restrictions in place our stay was comfortable. Host was very friendly.

Very nice and quiet place

Staying at a B&B should be a unique experience, and Stevenson Farms B&B really delivers a unique and memorable stay. This property has history, home made treats, fun amenities like an outdoor fire pit all in an elegant historic farm property. Our room had an original artwork featuring the property with the water tower. The hosts were there when we needed them, but also gave us privacy to enjoy our stay and explore on our own. The rooms are "rustic" with old fashioned heating and cooling (radiators for heat and open a window for cool). If you can't handle creeky floor boards and a bit of peeling paint here and there this is not the spot for you. If you like soaking in a claw foot tub and watching the sun set over vast farmland, then make this your destination.

The old country inn Is in great shape for its age! Expect to hear creaking floors but overall very quiet. The bar and outdoor area is a nice touch.

Beautiful little family farm house updated incredibly. Amazing homemade breakfast with fresh ingredients. Can’t wait to visit again...

We really enjoyed our stay at this place! Exceptional stay and exceptional host!

The owner is so nice. This property is a vintage house built by Loblaw family. The bedding and towel are very clean and most of furnitures looks like 50+ years old. The bath tub I used is installed in 1927. It is amazing. I will go again to explore more.

Amazing location. Quiet. Beautiful.

Taps in ensuite didn’t work, shower curtain needs changing. Toilet was wobbly. Service was good staff friendly.

Small room.Toilet area very small. Good breakfast and very pleasant staff.

Great historic farm home with many classic reminders of it’s history.

antiques and collectibles plus very interesting facts of history

I thought it was lovely. Very quiet and serene. The owners were very friendly. It was like your we’re back in the 1800s. They had a cinema room in the basement which my son liked because they also supply a PS4 controller which he loved playing on the projected scene. The spa services were great and not too expensive. Would definitely return

Very rich history, super cozy rooms and extremely friendly staff.

I loved this historic building - the decor the ambiance, the staff - it was all wonderful.

-dimly lit at entrance from hwy as well as walkway into the farmhouse making it hard to see at night -driveway was glare ice and walkway into the farmhouse was not shoveled & icy -no Kleenex or handsoap in the room -owners off-site after 5pm so you are provided with a cell # if you have questions (it took 1.5hrs for them to return our call) -good distance to downtown area

Maintains the original style of the building interior with memorabilia and original photos of the family. Accomodation was very comfortable

Everything was amazing but the road was icy. I had to make sure to let my Mom off at the door and pick her up there. Thank goodness my sons were with me because they helped ME into my vehicle while one off them did experiences a slip

It is a lovely old building with loads of charm! The bed was super comfortable and we loved having a bath in the oversized clawfoot tub. Breakfast was delicious and we were so pleased that my partner's gluten allergy was taken very seriously - staff assured us that every cooking surface was scrubbed down before our stay and they provided gluten free french toast! We look forward to staying here again and taking advantage of the spa downstairs

Very nice location in the countryside. It was reasonable based on price.
