Vimarn Samed Resort

Vimarn Samed Resort is located at a secluded part of the island. Therefore, it was very quiet which I absolutely needed for myself and my family. My room was just beside the sea beach, so the view from the room was excellent. The breakfast was good within its limited items, but overall food was very tasty! Staffs were very helpful.

The hotel was built long back and everything has now become old. The bathroom was very congested and the shower place had mosaic coming out and making the floor very painful while bathing. The Taxi cost is very high while going to the central part of the island.

Super comfy beds and clean fresh facilities. Beautiful ocean views from the deluxe room. Everything convenient and staff friendly and professional. Best place to stay on the island!

Restaurant food was a bit average but that seems to be standard on the island. The beach towels were also a bit odd material but fine. Price was quite a lot despite low season but they were definitely the nicest rooms we saw on the island.

Everything was good, the rooms, the facilities, the location (beach is awesome), the food in the Pool.

L'unica mancanza a mio parere è uno.spazio coperto e riparato per consumare i pasti in caso di pioggia, considerando anche che il vento, almeno nel nostro periodo è stato costante.

Staff were all so lovely and friendly. The restaurant area was lovely, great spot to have breakfast. Everything around the shared areas of the resort was very clean and well maintained. The private beach was very rocky but the snorkeling was very good and we were very close to the main big beach.

The rooms were a bit small and basic. They felt a bit tired and small and more like a 3 star level, definitely didn't match up to the 4 star feel of the restaurant area and was a little disappointing. We stayed in Garden View Rooms so maybe the other rooms were better. But they felt like they could do with a bit of a revamp.

Prima. Heerlijke plek met prachtig uitzicht, fantastisch lief personeel en heerlijk zwembad. Wel appart dat je niet uitkijkt over de tuin maar het terras van het restaurant (dus altijd je gordijnen gesloten houdt omdat dat ook vise versa is). Dus bij boeken van huisje met tuinzicht vragen niet huisje 1 of 2 te krijgen)

The cocktail bar was closed and they weren’t able to serve any cocktails during our 5 day stay. Most staff struggled to understand English which wasn’t too serious.

Lovely bungalows out on rocks overlooking the sea on both sides. Room was lovely and modern. View over the water was amazing, with Kingfishers in the trees. Bed and Pillows were lovely. Hairdryer was exceptional (according to my wife). Nice pool area and food was very nice. Neighbouring beach was, in our opinion, the nicest on the island, with restaurants and a great bar to chill out at before heading home at night. Halfway down the island away from the main town (which could be seen as either positive or negative depending on what you like) which we loved.

Never had hot water in the shower and shower floor was very rough. Bar and restaurant could have been open later. Hotel would benefit from a convenience store, but thats just a suggestion.

עדיין מדרגת אותו 10 כמה דברים קטנים: 1. זרימת מים חלשה באמבטיה 2. אין חוף ים למלון- הוא על ההר זה הליכה של דקה, אבל זה אומר שאין מיטות שיזוף על החוף. זה לא נורא כי יש מלא מקומות לשבת

Incredible location on the point, breeze keeps it cool and view from pool amazing. Could snorkel off the rocks which was great for us. Restaurant had great food and the staff were amazing.

Our room a little dated, but we were there for the location so didnt mind. The ocean view ones looked newer.

Die Lage ist fantastisch mit kurzen Wegen zu zwei tollen Stränden, guten Bars und leckerem Essen. Ein Strand etwas ruhiger der andere etwas belebter. Perfekt für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Toller Pool mit Bar und auch das Essen im Hotel ist sehr lecker. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich habe kein schöneres Gesamtpaket auf der Insel gefunden.

Schade war, dass es manche Dinge der Karte im Restaurant nicht gab aber der Hinweis im Vorfeld fehlte. Dann hat man sich für etwas entschieden und kann es nicht bekommen. Das ist aber auch der einzigste Hinweis den ich habe.

Resort ligt schitterend op een klein schiereilandje tussen twee stranden. Het zwembad is klein masr mooi gelegen. De huisjes zijn mooi, de kamers prima. Ontbijt is goed.

Het personeel wekt (op 1 na) een bijna apatische, verveelde ongeïnteresseerde indruk. Een totaal andere beleving dan bij de vijf andere thaise resorts die wij deze vakantie bezocht hebben. Het resort heeft geen eigen ligstoelen direct aan het zandstrand, waardoor je hiervoor bij een ander resort of strandtent een stoel moet huren. De badkamerdeur is maar 1,80 meter hoog. Heb mijn hoofd wel tig keer gestoten.

De locatie is prachtig. Gelegen naast 2 gezellige strandjes. En de beste bedden ever!

Bij slecht weer is er geen ruimte waar je beschut kunt zitten.

Incredible location. Loved being on the rocky peninsula. Beautiful beach 3 min walk. Stunning views from the dulux double and suite bedrooms. Very friendly staff. The coconut ice cream was delicious.

The location was exceptional and felt very private. I loved the layout of the V Suite with an ocean view. The pool and F&B options are great, the team was very welcoming, and the beach is ideal for swimming and relaxing, with dining options available as well.

Incredible. Beautiful grounds tucked away on the peninsular. Ocean on both sides. The room faced the water and was exceptional. The staff were friendly and attentive. The location we found to be great, a short taxi ride to town or other beaches and enough going on in this location you didn’t really have to leave. If you’re looking for the perfect mixture of beach, relaxing and a little bit more quiet, this is the place for you. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lage zwischen 2 Stränden ist toll und das Frühstück ist fantastisch. Sehr hilfsbereite Reception.

Es hat wahnsinnig viel Personal, dass sich zumindest im Juli sehr langweilte und das war zwischendurch etwas seltsam.

The room.Nowhere to store your bags, no chairs to sit inside . The bathroom was a little cubbyhole, shower head wouldn't stay up. Toilet seat was very loose

One of the best locations on the island. Located on a point it has great views, breezes and privacy whilst being close to two popular beaches. Staff were faultless.

Only issue was the smell from a drain or sewer outlet on the northern side of the resort. We stayed in V6 villa which was great. Unfortunately it was uncomfortable to sit outside on the deck. Otherwise our stay was perfect.

Loved our 4 night stay here. The location on a beautiful peninsula gives cooling breezes, lapping waves and great views to the neighbouring bays and their beaches. The restaurant and breakfast were very good. Best of all were the wonderful staff who work hard to make your stay very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Beautiful pool with gorgeous views of the sea with lovely cocktail bar to boot. We totally lost track of time and troubles; we just fully relaxed in perfect surrounds. Highly recommend for those that want to totally relax without having a care in the world. Perfect quiet place to get away from the world.

The views from the property were exceptional. Perfect place to spend a few days away from the crowd relaxing and just 2 minutes walk from the beach if you want a slightly lively atmosphere. The food was great too!

There are very few hotels on the island with pools, and this must be one of the best. It’s small but the views are amazing and there is a nice through breeze as it’s on a peninsular. The mattress was comfortable.

The breakfast was poor. Fresh scrambled eggs were ok but the fruit was past its best and had been cut with a dirty knife. The coffee was horrible. The staff don’t speak great English (not an expectation) and are not very welcoming or proactive.

We were so pleased we booked here, as this hotel is between two excellent beeches. The hotel was excellent in every way, being on a small peninsula from the beach it felt private with added bonus of a fresh breeze which was welcoming at all hours of the day. Excellent.

The swimming pool is a highlight of the hotel, kid do enjoy in it. The pizza was good and the cleanness is excellent.

Reception person could be warmer.

uitstekend ontbijt, voldoende variatie, vers. mooi uitzicht. locatie is aangenaam, wat rustiger dan in plaats waar de boot aankomt. echter strand verderop veel lawaai, met muziek dat je door elkaar heen hoort.

van mij mag de muziek wel uit. staat nu van in de ochtend tot in de avond aan. niet hard en overheersend, maar wel steeds aan. de afscheiding doucheruimte en living/slaapdeel vond ik wat gehorig. de airco had wat moeite om snel te koelen.

The resort was lovely. The pool area and the surroundings were very nice. Well kept and very relaxing.

The staff were not the friendliest and welcoming. The breakfast was average at best. The location and getting into the resort is slightly challenging.

Very noisy at times. Every afternoon they allowed outside visitors into the pool area and had a dj for parties. We came with children and it wasn’t very nice to have the pool area taken over by drunk people who were smoking and being loud.

The location on a peninsula is magnific. Also restaurant and breakfast was very nice. Several restaurants in the bay a path will take you to the next bay.

The view from the pool is magnific, however a dj was playing (too) heavy loud music from 2 pm to 9 pm almost every quest complained to manament without any success.

The best island location. Can access the beach straight from the room. Great value for money. Staff always helpful and courteous. Room was as described and had everything to make the trip comfortable and relaxing.

Solo debo decir que la persona en recepción no es amable con los clientes. Creo que no lo vi sonreír en los tres dias, y cada vez que quería preguntar algo sentía como si lo estuviera molestando.

Fabulous location, really quiet when we went. Breakfast was good too. If you eat food at the hotel in the day and evening this is also really good. You will need cash on the island as very few places take card. It’s a lovely hotel, great views and location. The staff are also really good too and incredibly helpful. I would definitely book again. There is also plenty of to do around the area and plenty of options for eating out as well. The rooms are quite basic and could do with a little TLC but this is a secluded island and more than enough for what you pay for.

Pool war nicht sauber

Gorgeous, comfortable clean room with nice shower and finishing. The view out to the ocean as soon as you walk in is gorgeous. There was a little table with 2 chairs out on the deck for smoking. Lovely ocean sounds for the whole stay. Check in was available about 45 mins early. Cafe with stunning view available to wait, only coffee available at that time.

Located about 10 min drive out of town centre do be prepared to pay up to 250bht one way (if not sharing the ride). Rest of island not as accessible as if you stay in town. But beaches etc are more quiet at this part of the island.

Overall the resort is really nice, clean comfortable rooms, good breakfast, decent pool area and direct access to the beach

Location isn't the best. The resort is quite far away from other things on Koh Samet so taxi's or other modes of transport are required if you want to venture out. Restaurant options are pretty bad in the vicinity of the resort. This may not have been an issue with all the rooms but our bathroom was quite outdated and grubby compared to the rest of the room for some reason.

Henkilökunta ei puhunut juurikaan englantia. Kommunikointi oli haastavaa. Ravintolan keittiö oli rempassa, joten ruokaa ei ollut saatavilla kuin aamupalalla. Länsimainen aamupala oli niukka: ei jogurttia tai leivonnaisia. Vain appelsiinimehua tarjolla. Huoneen vessan lattia oli märkä koko ajan. Parveke oli niin pieni, ettei sinne mahtunut edes aurinkotuoleja.

La piscine et sa vue sur le sunrise + sunset , le confort du lit et la chambre très agréable et spacieuse . L’hôtel est à côté de 2 plages facile d’accès à 2 mn à pied. Le personnel est sympa et arrangeant.

L’arrivée dans l’hôtel fait passer les clients dans une rue insalubre . Ça ne donne pas envie de rester et mets un doute sur l’hygiène .. Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré également .
