Hotel Ristorante Paradise

Die Lage war ausgezeichnet, um Touren auf den Ätna zu unternehmen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, die Badezimmer groß und die Betten bequem. Die ganze Anlage war sehr liebevoll gestaltet, ein toller Garten und ein sehr sauberer Pool, den wir allerdings aufgrund des Wetters leider nicht genutzt haben. Das Frühstück war gut, man konnte sich auf einer Karte am Abend vorher auswählen, was man haben möchte, die Portion waren groß. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die herausragende Freundlichkeit, insbesondere einer Mitarbeiterin, deren Name wir bedauerlicherweise nicht wissen (sie sprach 5 Sprachen, unter anderem Deutsch)! Aber auch alle anderen mitarbeitenden waren extrem freundlich. Ein Hotel, was keine Wünsche offen lässt. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Die Aussicht zum Ätna ist toll. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und lecker, es ist kein Buffet, sondern man füllt einen Zettel aus, was man alles essen möchte und bekommt es frisch serviert. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis unschlagbar. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, wir hatten sogar Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang (andere Seite des Hotels wo nicht zum Ätna zeigt). Großer Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel kostenfrei.

Das WLAN war nicht gut. Der Pool ist nur bis 15.09. nutzbar, das Personal ist aber sehr zuvorkommend, bei gutem Wetter denke ich kann dieser auch länger benutzt werden.

Odlično osoblje, vrlo uslužno i ljubazno, vrlo čist hotel, ugodan ambijent - navečer pogotovo i izvrsna hrana, posebice večere koje su po pristupačnim cijenama.

Room was very clean (carpets should be removed in my opinion), and staff always very welcoming. Pool area is nice, with a very close view of the Etna. Parking area very comfortable.

Our flight arrived with a 2hr delay and we were informed that we could only check-in up to 0030hrs! What would have happened if we arrived later? We always book a hotel to be sure of round-the-clock reception service. Breakfast has to be ordered in advance when checking-in. I found this to be negative for 2 reasons: 1. because sometimes you decide what you feel like only when you wake up 2. the portions are decided by the kitchen staff, sometimes it's too much and food is wasted It would be much better if the hotel offered a la carte service.

Really nice hotel with a great breakfast and restaurant for dinner. Staff were really kind and helpful. Special thanks to Mariella and Simona who were super welcoming and made our stay even more special.

The only thing is that they do not offer lunch.

Poolområdet var helt fantastiskt och det var riktigt trevligt när vi satt och åt runt den upplysta poolen på kvällen. Personalen var också väldigt serviceinriktad och det var rent och snyggt överallt även om Hotellet invändigt var ganska gammalmodigt.

Sängarna var hårda och vi hade gärna velat ha ett tunt täcke istället för bara lakan. Det är svårt att hitta en bra temperatur i rummet så man inte blir för varm eller kall på natten.

We had a really lovely stay at the hotel. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, with very good quality and a great choice of food. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and were very happy with the service.

There were just a couple of things that could be improved. There was no bathroom or shower near the pool, which was inconvenient, especially when there was a party and we couldn't use the hotel bathrooms. An outdoor bathroom or shower would be a great addition. At breakfast, although there was another lady helping on one occasion, there were still too many guests for the staff to manage comfortably. We sometimes had to wait for things like hot chocolate. Having more staff during busy breakfast times, or offering a buffet, would make the experience much easier.

We had a great time at this very nice hotel, the staff was super friendly and the food was very good (and not expensive)

C'est un endroit calme où le personnel est très accueillant. L'hôtel est très propre et le petit déjeuner est très bien. Le dîner au bord de la piscine était parfait.

Good location to Mt Etna. One day we came back from a Mount Etna and were really tired. They organised and brought us up some pizza and drinks in the room. It was very thoughtful and nice of them.

Choosing breakfast the day before. I understand why but sometimes you dont know until the morning.

La piscina y el restaurante con vistas al Etna son geniales. El establecimiento está bien conservado y limpio. La recepcionista nos atendió de 10. La ubicación es muy buena para las visitas al Etna y a Catania, pero es fundamental disponer de vehículo.

Precio elevado aún siendo un 4 estrellas.

Breakfast was amazing. Staff was amazing too. Hotel was clean. Beds and rooms always clean. We will be back for sure.

The only thing I didn’t like was the additional €25 per night, per extra bed that was opened. I was travelling with two 7-year-old children, so this added quite a significant extra cost to our stay.

L'absence totale de sourires au restaurant et surtout... Aucun geste commercial alors que nous avons payé 2 nuits pour rien à cause de l'éruption de l'Etna. Ce n'est pas leur faute mais un geste commercial aurait été normal. Par exemple offrir un repas. Rien. Nada.

L'hôtel est équipé d'une piscine très agréable vue les grosses chaleurs . Il y a plusieurs espaces extérieurs pour se détendre. Et il y a deux restaurants très bon rapport qualité prix pas besoin de reprendre la voiture. Belle vue sur le volcan.

Le coin douche est trop petit dommage vue la taille de la sdb . La poire de douche est pleine de calcaire. Le mobilier extérieur aurait besoin d'être renouvelé ( rouille).

We waren aangenaam verrast door Hotel Restaurant Paradise! Dit klassieke maar stijlvolle hotel straalt kwaliteit en gastvrijheid uit. Zoek je een hotel met de Italiaanse grandeur van weleer, dan is dit jouw ideale verblijfplaats. Tof dat dit nog bestaat. Vanaf het eerste moment werden we hartelijk ontvangen. De gratis parking vlak voor het hotel is bovendien een grote troef. Onze kamer op de eerste verdieping beschikte over een ruim terras met een prachtig uitzicht op het zwembad én de Etna. Er waren comfortabele stoelen en kussens voorzien, waardoor het een heerlijke plek was om te ontspannen. De kamer werd elke dag perfect onderhouden en voorzien van frisse handdoeken. Ook het zwembad was een absolute meerwaarde: mooi verzorgd, met een gezellige poolbar waar je steeds vriendelijk werd geholpen. Badhanddoeken voor het zwembad waren bovendien gratis beschikbaar. ’s Avonds verandert het zwembad in een sfeervol decor voor het restaurant. De subtiele verlichting, de verzorgde bediening en de romantische setting maken dineren hier een echte belevenis. Je kunt kiezen tussen een tafel aan het zwembad of op het moderne terras vooraan het gebouw. Het eten was tijdens ons volledige verblijf van uitstekende kwaliteit. Ook het ontbijt was elke ochtend tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Bij het inchecken kon je je voorkeuren doorgeven en het ontbijt werd vervolgens netjes aan tafel geserveerd. Dit is een hotel zoals je het overal zou willen aantreffen: uitstekende service, oog voor detail, kwaliteitsvolle keuken, een prachtige omgeving en dat alles voor een zeer correcte prijs. Een welgemeende pluim voor het volledige team van Hotel Restaurant Paradiso. Jullie maken het verschil!

A személyzet kiemelkedően kedves és figyelmes, családtagként kezelik a vendégeket. A hotel családi üzemeltetésben van, a tulajdonos egy talpig olasz úriember, minden nap reggeltől estig a vendégek között van. A szállodában egy gourmet étterem is működik isteni fogásokkal. A vacsorát halk zene mellett elegánsan megterített asztaloknál a medence körül szolgálják fel, ami különleges élményt nyújt az ízletes ételek elfogyasztásához. A hotelnek saját, tágas és ingyenes parkolója van, a szálloda elhelyezkedéséből adódóan kiválóan alkalmas a csillagtúrákhoz, könnyűszerrel elérhető Catania, Taormina, Siracusa, Noto és persze az Etna. A tengerpart 25-30 perc autóútra van. A szálloda nekünk 5 csillag és 10 pont. Harmadszor jártunk a szigeten, de ezidáig messze a legjobb választás volt! Mindenkinek ajánljuk, aki meg szeretné tapasztalni a hamisítatlan szicíliai vendégszeretetet,

Le personnel est très sympathique, aux petits soins pour les clients, On y mange vraiment très bien et ce n'est pas cher. C'est un hôtel calme un peu excentré, idéal pour des vacanciers sans enfant, car il n'y a pas grand chose à faire, à part la piscine. Il est recommandé d'avoir une voiture pour circuler aux alentours. Nous sommes ravis d'avoir passé nos vacances à l'hôtel Paradise, il porte bien son nom.

La décoration et les chambres sont à rénover mais ça fait le charme de l'hôtel.

This was my second stay here and definitely not the last! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer beautiful views of Mount Etna from the balcony. The pool area is quiet and relaxing, perfect for unwinding. Dinner in the evening is a great experience with a lovely setting and top-notch food. The location is also very convenient, close to major shopping malls. Highly recommended!

Beautiful old hotel with fabulous restaurant - some good we ate dinner there twice. Fabulous and picturesque pool with views of Mt Etna, rooms comfortable.

Location remote - 30-40 minute drive to Catania and not a lot to see in nearby villages.

The staff was amazing! It was clean and so quiet. We really enjoyed our stay! Breakfast and dinner was the best that I experienced in Sicily.

During lunchtime on Sunday, we had a little challenge to find lunch. I think at the hotel, the kitchen should always be open.

Heel vriendelijke ontvangst, prachtig hotel met vanuit de tuin een schitterend uitzicht op de Etna. Fijn dat er een restaurant is en voldoende parkeer gelegenheid voor het hotel. Wij hadden een fijne ruime kamer. Er was zowel binnen als buiten een rustige fijne sfeer.

Jammer dat je bij aankomst al een lijstje moet invullen wat je als ontbijt wil. Dit wordt in ochtend gebracht aan tafel met jou kamer nummer. Het zwembad ligt prachtig maar wij hebben geen enkele gast er gebruik van zien maken. Wel het gebruik van ligbedden. Een deel van de omgeving van het hotel bevat erg veel plastic in de bermen.

Alsof je terug gaat in de tijd naar de jaren '80. Een chique oude sfeer, maar allemaal heel schoon en niet versleten. Mooi hotel met heel vriendelijk en professioneel personeel. Makkelijk parkeren voor de deur en een lift. Het dineren aan het zwembad is een echte aanrader. Goed eten, goede sfeer. In het weekend zat het helemaal vol met locals die mooi opgedoft waren. De volgende ochtend konden we vanuit hier makkelijk naar de Etna rijden voor een tour.

Er hing een zoete (geurstokjes/roomspray) geur in de kamer die wij niet zo prettig vonden.

Good welcome and friendly customer service. The dinner and breakfast were both plentiful and delicious. We had a room for 3 which was spacious with a balcony and lovely sunset. The pool area is very clean with a fantastic view of Mount Etna

Het personeel is super aardig..het eten bij het hotel was goed, ook de drankjes waren prima in orde. Het ontbijt was ook goed met verschillende zoete en hartige beleg, dit geef je aan bij aankomst wat je wil met ontbijt..voor ons werkte dat prima ..wij hebben goed geslapen op de stevige bedden...ook is er een minibar aanwezig met democratische prijzen..(zowel hotel als restaurant)

Voor onze beleving vonden we het hotel een beetje te klassiek...wel netjes en schoon..echter mag het bij het zwembad een upgrade hebben. De directe omgeving heeft niet veel te bieden.

Room was overlooking a construction site and it was noisy at some point in the time, breakfast was good but had to complain to get what we have ordered and some of the items were not available.

We did not have much time spent in the hotel since we came for the wedding party but our stay was pleasant.

Breakfast does not have a big choice. And personally I would prefer buffet type, so I can see and choice 😊

Everything was top level, from the reception, to the final goodbye. People, owners and employees make a big difference because they are really nice and motivated. The hotel is finely built, furnished and maintained. The organization of services is very effective.

Das Hotel war wunderschön. Sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt. Der Chef war selbst anwesend, ein Herr der alten Schule, abends als letzter, morgens als erster.

Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt, obwohl es noch Nebensaison war und wir spontan gebucht haben. Das Personal war Mega freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Bett war sehr bequem und wir haben super darauf schlafen können. Alles war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück sehr umfangreich und lecker. Die Pizzeria im Hotel können wir wärmstens weiter empfehlen. Alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Es ist sehr ruhig und man kommt schnell zur Auffahrt Richtung Etna. Wir haben noch eine Nacht verlängert, da wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben.

Nur die Lage des Hotels.

I loved this hotel. This is a straight-up family run hotel which feels like an Italian movie. The owner works the floor (a charming gentleman), the staff are attentive and equally charming, the rooms are colorful and comfortable, the food is excellent (the breakfast!!), and there is a view straight on to Mount Etna. And weddings...and the Nona around whom all flocked...I mean, really, this was the whole deal. Strongly recommended for anyone looking for a charm overdose. For motorcyclists: Parking lot that is gated, though bikes are visible from the main road. The front desk is manned 24 hrs, and you can park up closer to the hotel and hide behind cars, so I believe it to be secure. Lots of room to move about and prepare.

I liked it all. All worked, all was good - for me it was flawless.

The room was immaculate and spacious. The terrace and the views were spectacular. The food in the restaurant was very good and there was a large selection to choose from. All the staff were very helpful and attentive and greet you at each encounter.

Possibly the only thing I felt a bit uncomfortable were the hard pillows.

Helaas konden we geen gebruik maken van de tuin van het hotel. Ze gaven aan dat het zwembad vanaf 1 juni open gaat, maar door renovatie van het hotel konden we ook niet van het buitenterras gebruik maken. Het had beter geweest als ze ons hierover hadden ingelicht. Als alternatief hebben we ligbedden gevraagd voor op ons balkon en die heb en ze ook gegeven, wat een prima alternatief was maar zeker niet zo prettig als van het buitenterras gebruik te kunnen maken.

The room was huge and hotel overall very nice, classic and clean. It feels very luxurious. Good parking as well.

The facilities are not great, especially for children, and the winter season. The external pool was not even open to see and enjoy as an open space. It appears as if there were renovation works going on before the summer season. There is nothing for children to do unless you visit in the summer period.

Pool was closed - the coffee was very good and the selection was also very good - great start to the day - but the Hotel is in the middle of nowhere so you will need to arrange taxis which are very expensive - luckily I had already arranged one from the Airport as public transport is not good, almost non-existent at weekends - note that

Plastic Flowers??? I mean they have all these hand crotcheted table covers and then vases of Plastic Flowers - i would rather see fresh ones or something else - it cheapened the look/feel

Рекомендую даний готель: приємний та ввічливий персонал, затишно та спокійно. У нас була кімната із видом на Етну - дуже гарно. Безкоштовна парковка на території. Внизу працює ресторан і піцерії - завжди можна смачно поїсти. Рекомендую зупинятися тільки якщо у вас є автомобіль, готель знаходиться в 20 км від Катаніі. Дуже спокійне місце.

We hebben ongevraagd een upgrade van de kamer gekregen. Het personeel was buitengevwoon vriendelijk en het hotel heeft werkelijkl een uitstekend en belaatbaar restorant. Wij hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het zweembad. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid.
