Sunset Villa Lembongan

Las vistas desde la terraza fantásticas para desayunar y ver la puesta de sol y ambiente agradable con música. Putu y todo el personal muy amable, enseguida me facilitaron una moto que me funcionó perfecta por buen precio y me llevaron hasta el punto de salida del ferry. El bungalow estupendo y la cama muy confortable. Estuve muy a gusto. Se oye por la noche el mar ya que está muy cerca de The Devil's Tears, a mí me hacía gracia escucharlo.

Mosquito's! There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room. And even though they provide a mosquito net around the bed, they always found some way in. Probably because the room is not completely sealed and there's room between the wall and roof.

Bed was hard so sleep was poor. Location was bit out of way Heaps of mozzie especially in hut but I just sprayed myself. I was hoping the hut was directly on beach but it wasn't. I could hear the waves but didn't bother seeing how to get to beach.

The sunset from the restaurant was without a doubt, the best thing on the property. The pools were great.

It didn’t feel as clean as it looked. There was dust on the shelf’s in the room, the sunbeds were worn down just like the towels that smelled of sweat.

Es war nicht unser erster Besuch aber wir waren schon beim ersten Mal voll überzeugt. Die Lage der Villen direkt am wunderschönen Pool ist traumhaft. Dazu kommt, das überschaubare Anlage direkt am Meer im Westen der Insel liegt, schöner kann man die Sonnenuntergänge nicht genießen. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber. Klar, unserer Erfahrung nach trifft das wohl für alle „Einheimischen“ zu, aber da wir bereits letztes Jahr so zufrieden waren, auch dieses Jahr in keiner Weise enttäuscht wurden, planen wir auch nächstes Jahr genau hierher zurückzukehren.

Alles könnte immer noch größer, neuer, besser sein. Aber wer aber das auf der kleinen Insel Lembongan zu finden wird wahrscheinlich schwer. Viel kommen ja eh nur für ein paar Tage und nicht wie wir für 3 Wochen. Mir/uns hat es an nichts gemangelt.

Second time we have stayed at Sunset Villas, suits us perfectly very quiet plenty of privacy, beautiful wooden villas super roomy huge comfortable bed super clean big bathroom water pressure amazing. Breakfast is had in the open setting overlooking the ocean stunning views. Blackie manages the bar and is super helpful for anything you may need. Located super close to Sandy Bay Beach and Sandy Bay restaurant, its closeness is convenient & one of the best options for evening dining on the beach without having to go too far. The “Piece de resistance” is the beautiful lap pool. There are actually 2 x 30 meter lap pools and a smaller round pool not so deep, for family fun. I relished doing my laps most days in the beautiful lap pool. One of the best places to view the stunning sunset any night 🥂

In our opinion there is nothing to fault about the property. All villas are in a gorgeous garden setting - see above

Endroit très agréable, couché de soleil tous les soirs, accès aux 3 piscines, personnels très très gentils !!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour et avons même prolongé. L’emplacement du logement est super, vous pouvez louer un scooter sur place. La chambre était fonctionnelle avec salle de bain extérieure et clim. La piscine est très agréable (il y en a deux). Vous avez aussi un restaurant sur place avec une vue imprenable sur l’océan que ce soit le matin au petit déjeuner ou pour le sunset. Le personnel est très accueillant.

La propreté de la chambre n’est pas optimale, beaucoup de poussière. La moustiquaire n’était pas propre. Le premier jour nous avons remarqué que les coussins avaient des traces de moisissure et d’humidité. Nous l’avons signalé et le personnel a mis des coussins neufs et a changé tous les draps très rapidement.

Die aussicht vom restaurant war wunderschön! Man konnte einen scouter direkt am hotel mieten was richtig praktisch ist. Essen war gut und das personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Man ist schnell an mushroom beach was unser favorit war. Die schwimmbäder waren sauber und entspannend.

The room had a huge ceiling and was quite dark. The mosquito net was a bonus. We had an outdoor shower attached to our room which was a fun experience. Others had internal showers however needing to use stairs in the bathroom from the door. May be of concern if someone was wet and slipped or feel down the stairs in the night when accessing the bathroom. The view of the cliff was great and quite memorizing - when calm and rough. The owners were friendly and some remembered you by name. Zelda, the resident dog was super friendly and help those in the group with some comfort therapy. Having food cooked on site is a bonus and very convenient as you are not close to a variety of dining places. The breakfast was great and all that you would need. There are a couple of small markets near by for water and a little further away more food. Getting around from this location isn't easy. Ideally a scooter is the best option. There is only so far you can walk however ideally a truck is better for a large group though it is expensive so it limited how often we explored.

Overall it felt like it was at a nice tropical caravan park, rather than a swanky hotel which suited our needs and budget. Some maintenance could be improved; such as the deck chairs by the pool cleaned more regularly, weeding in the cement areas or garden bed could be looked in to, rather than sweeping leaves daily. To access the hotel by truck was a very bumpy road the last 100m or so.

We loved our stay at Sunset Villas' Lembongan! A very quiet and peaceful location, a beautiful traditional balinese villa and 3 amazing pools included in the resort as well. Only about a 5-10 minute drive or scooter trip into the main areas of Nusa Lembongan. The best view in Lembongan for breakfast each morning, and a very affordable option for dinner as well. Highly recommend this place for an easy going stay!

Pros: The location is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. One standout feature is the outdoor bathroom, it's exposed to the sun, which is a real bonus given the island's humid climate. It's a great spot to air out your swimwear and laundry, letting them get a natural sun-kissed drying. The property boasts two lovely pools and a beautifully landscaped yard that really adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The cottage itself is spacious with high ceilings, making it feel even more open and airy. Its proximity to the cliffside is another major perk. There's a swing at the cliffside bar where you can sit, unwind, and enjoy the dramatic sight and sound of waves crashing against the rocks below, perfect for a chill moment.

Cons: Bites: I did notice a few red bug bites after the second night of my stay (on my arm, neck, and even my face), though they weren’t anything serious, no itching or discomfort, just a little red dots. As of writing this a week later, the marks are already fading, and I feel completely fine. Island-Specific Tip: When visiting this island, it’s crucial to travel light. The roads are undeveloped, and many cottages are up sloped paths or stairs, making heavy luggage a real challenge. If you can, avoid rolling luggage and stick to something more manageable. Room Key: The room key is unnecessarily large, it's basically a wooden block. While it's a quirky design, it makes it less convenient to take it with you. I really wish they had gone with something smaller and more practical.

As usual, with Bali, cleanliness standards are not same as in the west.

Uns hat die ruhige Lage und die Pool‘s sehr gut gefallen der Bungalow war schön groß und auch das Bett sehr bequem. Mit ein paar mehr Erneuerungen wäre es perfekt ! 👌🏼

The view from the restaurant was nice and I liked the variety of pools they had there. The second room we got was much more comfortable and smelt very lovely. The rooms are also nice and roomy.

Initially we were placed into a bungalow that smelt like it hadn’t been aired out in a while. It seemed a bit dated and unfortunately the air conditioning wasn’t working. The hot water only lasted a few minutes and the showers were salt water. The room was quite dark as there was a wall between the front and back room.

Loved the pool view villas, superb pools for swimming lengths, very quiet, relaxing vibe. Upstairs restaurant Bar area with great sunset views and happy hour. Fresh made juices mango, pineapple were superb. Omelette breakfast was great. Love the outdoor showers. Friendly staff. 2 mins to Sandy Bay beach club, shops, cafes eateries.

Grounds were well kept and pools were amazing. Staff were always available to assist with anything we needed, and the restaurant was nice and close with a great view and wonderful food/drinks.

Bed was not as comfortable as I had hoped for and was very squeaky when your rolled over which made getting a full night sleep difficult.

Wir hatten einen sehr super Aufenthalt. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft war durchgehend sauber und gepflegt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der fantastische Ausblick – vor allem bei Sonnenuntergang einfach traumhaft. Unser Zimmer war groß und komfortabel, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert!

This place offers a little dream oasis for your soul! Above the cliffs and the ocean, so that you not just hear the noise of the waves, but also feel their resonance. My bungalow was as pictured in my dreams. A king size bed, the shower under the stars and the bathroom spacious! It has all you long for fduring a beach holiday. 10 min walk to the next beach and great places to watch the sunset (like the sunset bar itself) without needing to move much. I would totally recommend! Great value for money!

A little kettle in the room would have been nice and some tea, in case one needs some in the morning before going to the common area.

Comfortable accomodation in beautiful gardens with 3 large swimming pools. Enjoyed the breakfast view. Friendly and helpful hosts. Good location within walking distance of Mushroom Beach, Sandy Bay, Devils Tears and Dream Beach. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.

Petit déjeuner compris mais pas bon. Pas d’eau chaude, aucune pression dans la douche, eau très salée. Pas de bouteille d’eau à disposition ou de fontaine pour remplir sa gourde. Personnel très peu communicatif, nous avons signalé le problème dans la douche mais personne n’est venu voir. Chambre très sombre et besoin d’un gros coup de rafraîchissement. Bruit de pompe électrique en permanence y compris la nuit. Nous sommes partis une journée plus tôt tellement le logement était austère, lavons signalé mais nous n’avons bénéficié d’aucun remboursement.

The staff were incredible and couldn't do enough for us! The villa was absolutely beautiful, there were 3 different pools and the restaurant was lovely overlooking the ocean.

It was quiet and within walking distance for eating out. The view for sunset was unimpeded. You can see the island in about 4 hours by car. Suggest you don't drive it yourself as it is highly likely you will get lost. There are 3 pools which we used every day (the same one). The villa we had (number 15) was spacious and has a TV (which you had to request). We stayed there for 4 days.

We stayed 4 nights at Sunset Villa Lembongan and absolutely loved it. The location is unbeatable – tucked away in a quiet spot with breathtaking views, yet close enough to explore everything on the island with ease. The villa itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after every detail with genuine warmth and hospitality. Communication was smooth and effortless, and we felt truly cared for from the moment we arrived. Sunset Villa really lived up to its name – the evening views were unforgettable and one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Nusa Lembongan. We will definitely be returning.

In fairness we didn't even check-in coz the reception area was so chaotic and unkempt that we immediately laughed (gotta laugh right?) and just got back on our bike knowing that it was best to lose our money than waste a night in a hotel that looks like a chaotic warehouse. What shocked us was how the photos and reality were so insanely different

Die Aussicht vom Restaurant. Wenn man alle Augen zu drückt und einen günstigen Unterkunft sucht kann das eine Wahl sein. Die Nähe zu Sandy Bay Beach Clup ist sehr gut.

Alles sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Unsere Hütte hatte nie warmes Wasser. Es war sehr dreckig. Es wurden bei 4 nächten weder die Handtücher noch die Bettwäsche gewechselt. Gartenanlage ungepflegt. Auf keinen Fall vier Sterne, eher ein Stern.

We kregen tot onze verbazing een groot huisje met living, ruime slaapkamer en badkamer. Het uitzicht bij het ontbijt (heel lekkere bananenpannenkoeken!) is prachtig!

Het huisje voelde niet heel proper aan.. Het verblijf is best afgelegen van de meeste restaurantjes.

My room did not have a television as advertised, but that was not a big deal since I was busy most of the time.

Location and views were spectacular. I also like the outdoor bathroom and the 3 pools were great especially the lap pool and thank goodness for the mozzie net around the bed!

The whole place needs alot of TLC very run down. The villa was very dark and drab and lots of mozzies at night. The breakfast was very basic and tasteless. Also stairs going up to roof top were very steep.

This is such a beautiful hidden gem. It's not new or flashy but well cared for. Beautiful gardens and 3 pools to choose from. Breakfast was so tasty every morning. The staff are so nice and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble.

Les cottages sont bien espacées dans le grand jardin, un réfrigérateur, un coffre, la Clim silencieuse , lit très confortable, serviettes bain+ serviettes piscine, proche des devil tears.

Les cottages sont bien entretenus, les parties communes comme le lobby, le restaurant sont en mauvais état. Eau du robinet salée 😖 Les cottages sont séparés par une simple planche de bois donc niveau insonorisation c’est zéro. Petite distance pour les restaurants. Bien d’être véhiculé.

Property is located close to one of the best sunset spots on the island, some of the best beaches, and close to a very good beach club. It has a lot of calm swimming pools that were a pleasure to use - very calm and quiet and comfortable. The owner was very chill and friendly.

Our room had a mosquitos infestation. We probably killed 30-50 a night, and the net did not help. No hot water and no cleaning of the room in between days (although we were sick for a few days, which could be the reason why no one came - but there was no cleaning even before getting sick). The restaurant closed incredibly early (8 pm) and being the property far away from many amenities + road not secure or illuminated at night, it severely limited dining options.

The location was great. Staff were friendly.

The cleanliness was very poor. Floors were filthy There was a major issue with mosquitoes. There were gaps in the bedroom ceilings for mosquitoes to get in and the mosquito nets around the beds were not adequate. We had to buy our own additional mosquito spray and plug in repellers as my 6yo daughter was eaten alive. No one came to our rooms to collect dishes after we ordered food. We had to return our dishes to kitchen each time. Day beds around the pool were very old and dirty, some even moldy. Gardens could do with a bit of cleaning up also.

I love sunset villas, the staff are all so friendly and take the time and effort to get to know you and show real interest in you and what you are doing and the grounds are beautiful, and location is incredible too.

Honestly nothing, the service was spotty but that is not due to anything the owners can do.

No TV/DVD in room. No WIFI. (Listed in description) Credit card machine didn't work when checking out. Water pressure low. Soap and toilet paper provided only. Towels stained. Bed linens need replacing. Steep stairs up to reception and restaurant, and like most of bali the flooring and paths are slippery when wet.

The location of the restaurant and bar was amazing, overlooking the ocean with perfect sunset views, turtles and dolphins. Very spacious and clean rooms all with convenience of pools outside. The staff were super friendly, very helpful and have great English.

We liked everything about the property.
