Sheraton McKinney

Font desk guy was a little rude about not having a physical card to pay with since I used a virtual card. Then tried to lecture me about the problem with using “booking” instead of Sheraton directly.

Beautiful bedroom

Too far out from historic downtown

Location Service Bar/Restaurant Bathroom size and amenities

Disappointed- vent in room had not been cleaned as it was black. Room service food tray was on floor in front of room next door for both days. Nice guy at desk but no name tag

Great location. Comfortable beds.

No free breakfast

Location and convenient breakfast buffet.

They were painting and you could smell It even though they were ventilating with fans.

Breakfast was better than i expected. Bathroom was a good size. Staff were friendly. They gave us ground floor rooms (near gym!) which was helpful.

No kettle or teabags! Can never work coffee machines in hotel rooms abroad. Pls do provide tea. Triple or family room would be helpful. More items at breakfast would bf better.

Breakfast is just ok

The staff are courteous and I like the breakfast.

Price.

Great spot!

The A/C in the room didn’t work well. After some investigation I found that the rerun filter was plugged up. Very humid in the room because it wasn’t moving air and not cooling.

Location was easy to reach.

The internet speed was slow.

My son married his beautiful bride this weekend and selected to have a block - what a great decision!!!! The attention to detail was top notch. Great place for family and friends to meet up and gather to celebrate their loved ones - wonderful breakfast and seating (never felt crowded) even with sold out reservations, Kimberly and her team handled so many details -(even when we called so many times). Beds so comfy, room quiet, breakfast - so many choices, bar area and bartenders were so delightful. I would highly recommend this place for your family and friends. We had 23 rooms and we were able to meet up in so many places. Please please go right away to check this place out.

Big

Overpriced,

Friendly staff

8:30 am wake up call to LOUD music. It was the morning after our wedding and we were exhausted. Last thing we wanted was to hear music BLASTING at 8:30 am.

The location was great!

First, Room was spot cleaned only. Noted multiple strands of hair in mini fridge and along shower curtain and wall. Secondly, my husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. We hooked a king room and was given double beds. I then asked why we were not given what we paid for, we were told they were sold out for the weekend. This is not acceptable, and they did not offer discount or any other accommodations for our inconvenience. The double beds were so small, we could not rest comfortably together. My husband and I slept apart the entire stay 😢

For 200 dollars a night. Then breakfast for 20 more i got a bottle of water for that was 6 dollars it was ok but for that price I could have stayed anywhere so at the price point its a 2 at half the price it was a 8

EVERYTHING! First timer...Great place and I will be back!

There wasn't a thing not to like!!!!

The room was big with huge windows and it was great!

I couldn’t get the AC to cool the room very fast bc of how big the room was with one vent. Maybe just having a box fan in case.

The property was very nice!

I didn’t like having a room with no hot water. Someone at the desk should’ve been telling people the hotel had been without hot water since the previous day.

I did not eat breakfast.

The esthetics and luxury.

The property was clean, and upscale!

Cleanliness and polite staff

Nothing 🤗

Beautifully decorated for Christmas. The rooms were larger with a ice bathroom. The staff were all very accommodating. The breakfast buffet was excellent and we loved our attendant/waiter Francisco!!

Comfortable rooms with good facilities

Breakfast could use some more options

My husband and I had some business in Texas and were tired of driving. We stopped at the Sheraton McKinney. Great choice! I was under the impression that they had a bar and served appetizers. It’s very nice but looked like that could be the case. Things are not always as they appear. What a nice surprise! The restaurant is in the bar area and the bartender will most likely take your order but don’t let that fool you. Check about their special of the day. The daily board said pork tenderloin with apple chutney and broccolini. Wasn’t sure about the rest but like pork tenderloin so decided to go with it. Smart choice! First, they brought me pumpkin soup and I explained I didn’t order it ( nor would I, sounds odd). Tony said it came with the special. Oh my word! It was delicious, possibly the best soup I have ever had! They brought my dinner, shortly after. It was delicious and had other tasty things I wasn’t expecting ( some flavorful type of a potato cake). I couldn’t eat everything and shared with my husband ( he had the brisket tacos, very good) and then Tony showed up with pecan pie and whipped cream, again part of the special. It was a great meal ($28.00) after a long day and was just the icing on the cake of a beautiful hotel, beautiful room, and some very friendly people who understand the meaning of hospitality.

It was clean and quiet with a nice gym and good pool area. I did not eat at the restaurant/bar but it was very attractive looking.

They were out of cleaning wipes in the gym both days and the coffee they charged me a lot for at the restaurant was the same coffee that was in the room. Same size and everything. I could have just gone to my room and saved the money.

Nice and beautiful hotel surrounded by restaurants

Very clean!

Clean and polite although room locks were troublesome at times

Everything

None

Room was dirty. It was hot and so far from the elevator. I’ve stayed here 3 other times and it’s never been like this. Bathroom was dirty, sheets smelled funny. I arrived late and check out early.

Very friendly staff. Clean. Spacious. Great breakfast and coffee. Not your typical travel motel. Much better and more comfortable.

Clean and quiet property

The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the room was comfortable enough for the price.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable for me, and I woke up with back pain. It was new and well maintained, so I'm sure it'd be fine for the right person. But it didn't suit my sleeping style

Great experience! Glad I stayed here, convenient, clean, and close to all of my meetings.

Great and consistent

Friendly staff and cleanliness

Hote staff was awesome

Room is nice, but a lot of small things that went wrong made me rate as a three instead of higher.

Excellent

The hotel overall was decent, but their house cleaning was horrendous. They don’t clean daily , and the maids knocks once and just walks in. Luckily I had my clothes on. They don’t provide necessary toiletries. Hotel staff are nice especially hostess at breakfast. But overall they need better maintenance.

The breakfast was great, and the service was excellent.

Very nice Hotel, great location, easy access to the freeway, staff was excellent and accommodations were fantastic.

Sweet

I would love to give Kasra at the front desk a public thank you for being such a great host. I spend roughly 150+ nights a year in a hotel traveling for work. The fact that he and his co-worker always greet me and remember my very basic requests goes so a long way for me. (I'd like to apologize to his co-worker as I can't remember her name right now; her card was not represented on the bell desk.) Anywho... Service at this hotel is top-notch. The bartenders are extremely friendly and respectful, the cleaning staff is on point, and the breakfast team makes great food. If you're here on business in the north Dallas area, this group of people will take care of you. Giving mutual respect to this staff has clearly been noticed, and I feel more welcome here than at any other Marriott in the country.

Good

Absolutely amazing!!! My sister and I truly enjoyed our stay! Comfortable bedding! Wonderful toiletries provided!!! Staff were incredibly helpful and nice!!! I added the breakfast for 2 to the room and it did not disappoint!!! We would definitely stay here again!!!

Great

Cleanliness, went well, so you can see at night in parking lot. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable.

Not a thing

Great stay! Clean, spacious, smelled great I the lobby. Loved that it was pet friendly

Great hotel we will be back

Great property.

Great staffing/customer service and very clean. Convenient located close to downtown McKinney and close to shopping and dining.

Breakfast was great, and the staff was very pleasant and professional. Good job!

Nothing; everything was pleasant during my stay.

Overall nice hotel. Pool is tiny and laundry is overpriced.

Good hotel

The only issue was the shower had a slow drain.
