Pub close by, comfy bed, Wentworth house and Wentworth gardens in walking distance food delicious
Bathtub/shower very slippery, need to use non slip mat.
Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Tasty breakfast
Nothing.
Lovely rooms, nice beer garden, lovely staff, nice food
Nothing
Lovely location
Site says no pets allowed but when we checked in we were informed they are a country pub and have loads of dogs in. Not good when hotel booked to stay see family but could not stay with them due to allergy to their animals. Paid £110 for one night to risk asthma attacks due to inaccurate information given. Breakfast was expensive if you do not have cooked breakfasts. Only small packet cereal, no bananas and 4 dried apples and oranges available.
Location
Internet service is weak
Clean and nice place to stay
Lack of tea/coffee and milk in the room
Comfortable room. Friendly staff.
On a very busy main road.
It was full of character on the outside and the location was lovely in a very quaint little village.
There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like about the property.
location was good and was quite. bed was comfy
wasn’t clean had mould in bathroom nd a lot of mould, cobwebs in corners so had two huge spiders and round radiators were covered in dust so clearly hadn’t been cleaned for a while. breakfast after ordering came and told no brown bread no black pudding. key card didn’t work when we returned from breakfast had to walk across road to get sorted.
We had a very enjoyable stay, friendly staff, great location, well priced meals and drinks, highly recommended.
The room was basic containing a double bed and a sofa bed the sofa bed mattress needs replacing as you could feel the bars underneath..the breakfast was good and plenty of choice to fill ya boots.
Some of the staff seemed a bit odd not knowing what food you have ordered
Delightful spacious and comfortable room. Had more amenities than some of the larger chain hotels which was a pleasant surprise. Dining - Good menu choice and enjoyable.
Nothing I didn’t like but quirky that the rooms were across the road from the pub and restaurant, so having to negotiate busy road, especially in the morning, kept you on your toes! There was a slight musty smell in the room, and the carpet was wet under the roadside window, due to an evident ingress of water from somewhere, which was reported. (There had been a recent downpour which could have been the cause). I did not need to use that side of the room anyway, and it did not spoil my stay. I have no doubt the owners will have investigated following my departure and attended to remedy.
Staff were incredibly helpful Had a great stay
Rooms are over a busy road from the pub. Room was large, clean, massive bed. Is was hot, no aircon. However it was not the room advertised on booking.com. As I wasn’t shown to the room just given the key. I didn’t wanna go back over the road and explain the room wasn’t as advertised. It was not a problem because we didn’t need the sofa. And only stayed one night.
The full English breakfast was terrible. I only ate the eggs and toast. Other guests were also complaining. One staff member on and we had to ask for everything nothing was thought about or just lazy way of running the breakfast room. Crockery wasn’t clean greasy finger prints on side plate. Bare minimum condiments which ran quickly out butter yoghurts milk juice. Everything had to be ask for. Which was a pain. Which is why we wouldn’t stay again.
We were part of a wedding party and the barn for the group was good. The staff were all polite and helpful but seriously stretched at times. Our room was nice but expensive for what it was.
Not enough staff at times especially when we were all booking into our rooms. External areas need attention. It's been a hot summer but the private venue garden really needed some work on it and tidying up.
Room was clean and nice
Bit of road noise
Location was great.
Size of room No clothes hanging or drawers Food not great
Staff were excellent & handled the problem with my booking ( my fault ) very well. Beautiful location in very pretty village.
Comfy Room although right by main road
The food was bad! Bad quality especially the breakfast. Bacon dirty from unclean fryers
We ate in the restaurant that evening and then breakfast on our departure day. The meals were reasonably priced and good pub food.
Pleasant room in nice converted cottage across the road from the pub. Peaceful location
A bit of a hot sleep but that’s the weather! Otherwise perfect.
It was spacious, authentic, and had character.
Nothing really!
Location to Wentworth Woodhouse

Lovely room comfortable bed and good breakfast
nothing
Everything it was lovely definitely going back xx
There was nothing l didn’t like
Beautiful building and surrounds and lovely village Fan in room Comfortable beds and bedding
Due to lighting room was a little dark
The rooms are really spacious and clean , nice comfortable bed , we were on the other side of the road away from the pub noise. The pub itself was good. Lovely, breakfast in the morning and evening meals were great too. Great location for things to do in the surrounding area. Staff are so helpful and polite.Nothing was too much trouble.
Beautiful room, spacious and luxurious Fluffy towels Location Delicious breakfast
Unfortunately, it was in the middle of a heatwave - tiny fan, windows with limited opening - we had 2 very hot, sweaty nights..
Szép tágas szoba hatalmas fűrdőszobával.
Ilyen nem volt.
Szép tiszta szoba. Kényelmes a fürdőszoba. Szemben vele van az étterem.

Love the place. Stayed a few times now travelling down from Scotland. Absolutely love the hotel and village itself!
Comfy, clean and a very good choice for breakfast. Staff were lovely and location was excellent for getting back to the motorway.
No fault
Very nice room. Quintessential English pub in a nice village. Good location for our needs. Food was very good.
Gorgeous setting, beautiful property
Room just required a refresh to the paintwork.
Quiet, attractively decorated, outdoor space with seating in what must have once been a cottage garden, plenty parking, friendly staff.
The room was nice and clean and in good order. We felt it was a little small overall, but the bathroom was large in proportion. Bed was super comfy and the fan was a welcome addition. The lady serving breakfast was very welcoming and friendly. Parking was ample and nearby.
The beer prices were high, (around £7/pint)
Beautiful room and amazing for tbe price, huge bathroom
The shower curtain was a bit grimy, and the continental breakfast was not the most fresh, but that was the only thing
Great small hotel in a lovely little village lovely room and a small garden for use by all rooms . Very nice breakfast and excellent service through out the inn .
Nothing
Breakfast - Food very good morning staff personable
Bar meals (dinner) very, very poor nowhere near value for money House keeping poor didn’t empty rubbish baskets or change towel left on bathroom floor Bedrooms situated across busy road very challenging
Near Wentworth wood house great location for visit . Very hot had fans in rooms . Beds comfy .
Breakfast needed a fresh fruit and yoghurt option
Good modern well sized room
Food appeared to suffer from corporate bulk purchase of pre-prepared ingredients
Quirky tasteful
Food was great
Once the pub shuts there isn’t anything there so take water ect
Beautiful room everything you could ask for lovely surroundings
The staff were all un welcoming didn't make us feel good at all ordered a meal with family in the evening no one came to ask how the food was..... food wasn't great average i guess and the breakfast staff one female when she could actually could be bothered to come and get our breakfast order was so miserable not a good experience at all..... was a shame because its such a beautiful place A bit of warmth and personality would make a huge difference
Location excellent. Close to Wentworth Woodhouse which we'd come to visit. The village, The Rockingham Arms is in, is beautiful, unspoilt and has a surprising amount of amenities. Alot of history to explore as well as beautiful countryside. We've decided to return annually.
The room was very nice The parking was good and not too far to the room
Nothing really
Lovely room. Nice and quiet. Lovely benches outside to sit and enjoy thebbeautiful village. Friendly staff.
Excellent location for Wentworth Woodhouse visit. Good parking facilities. Spacious room and bathroom. Clean and well equipped. Friendly helpful staff.
No air con, which usually doesn’t bother us, but we had a roadside room so didn’t want to open the window
Clean and comfortable. Friendly and very helpful staff.
Great breakfast. Serves good dinner too.
We were greeted by a Staff member who was very nice and friendly and explained everything to us and booked us in for an evening meal and then took us to our room. Evening meal service was excellent and very good and we could see that it was a very popular venue with a lot of local people coming in for meals.
Breakfast wasn’t so good.
Had a lovely stay . Staff friendly and great breakfast with lots of choice.
Very welcoming staff, clean lovely pub which obviously has plenty of regulars which is always a sign of a good pub. Great beer garden. The room was clean and spacious - we did have an accessible room as we had the dog with us. It was a really lovely stay and would definitely return.

Room was lovely and spacious, very clean and comfortable bed , the pub itself is an old favourite of ours
The staff were pleasant but the service was slow
Location was great, staff were fab, food was exceptional. Was able to move room as upstairs were particularly noisy! Thank you!
Intermittent TV, especially when a car drives by. Old carpets and cockroach traps!
The rooms in the little converted cottages are good. Unfortunately there were a few things in the bathroom which needed attention. The toilet handle did not work properly, the glass shelf was wobbly and the plug in the basin did not work. This did not matter for one night. We had stayed here before. Very convenient for visiting Wentworth woodhouse round which we had a private conducted tour. Very pretty village and a superb Garden centre.
The welcome of the staff on arrival was bad and sloppy. We were ultra polite whilst there to enlist a smile which we got. The 2 girls behind the bar were busy serving drinks, when we arrived, hence having to do two things at the same time. I realise employing yet another would incur more expensive rooms. The rooms are not expensive.
A lovely stay in a nice village pub was good and the evening meal was nice we didn’t have breakfast but it was an option
All the staff were very attentive and very pleasant
Room 6!!!!!! It was SO very noisy, with being next to the road, until late in the evening and also very early in the morning. I would not stay in that room again. Very disappointing
Excellent room
Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely room with everything I required. Good food on site. Warm. Lovely village setting
Nothing
Everything was perfect. The bar manager was very helpful and professional in everything she did. Also the staff were great..The location in this amazing village is 2nd to nine and the room was wonderful..
Absolutely nothing..
Staff very helpful. Accessible room - shower very good with plenty of hand rails. Good sized room with comfortable beds. Decent sized TV.
Room would benefit from secondary glazing as traffic easily heard. Sound proofing between floors, we were woken by the occupant walking around early in the morning. Restaurant - staff nice & working really hard but food disappointing.
Beautiful pub. Great location. The room was first class. Sadly the ladies serving in the restaurant looked very upset about something. There was no interaction at all. I work front of house but never let my feelings show. Also the food was, at best, ok. Expensive too. The room was very good value. We parked in the car park next to the room and were really upset to find it the next morning covered in bird poo. I’m sure that this must have been mentioned before by previous guests so it would have been good to be given the option to park elsewhere. Wentworth is a beautiful village and we would love to visit again but would not stay here again. Sorry.
See above.
The radiator worked well to warm the room up. The bed duvet was large, warm, clean and nice material. Checkin was easy as the pub was quiet when I arrived at 2pm. The annexe is a lovely old building which has been redecorated internally very nicely. Although it is near a main road I wasn't bothered by traffic noise or other internal noises. Breakfast was good for £10, lots of choices for cooked options and continental options in a nice room in the pub.
The shower has a good flow of hot water but is in a bath with a step over to get in and the bath floor is slippery and not flat so one of the least safe showers i have used.
Liked the room and the surroundings. Staff were brilliant.
Nothing I didn't like was excellent.
Really enjoyed our stay the food was amazing the room was spotless and the breakfast was fabulous
Location and a great day. Fabulous weather.
Only 2 considerations about the room..... No bath mat for shower or handles to assist getting over the bath. 100% clean and extremely comfortable.
Very well located for visiting Woodhouse Wentworth. Both the room and bathroom were very spacious, clean, and well decorated.
Their bedroom block is alongside the B road which runs through the village. Although, there was not a great deal of traffic, it was audible.
Quiet room Pub across the Rd in a lovely little village
Television issue Think possibly to do with the aerial
Excellent location and staff are very helpful
Lovely large room/ bathroom, comfy bed & decor looks good.
As the building is old the floorboards are creaky upstairs, if you have a ground floor room. Its only occassional though, but other than this its such a pretty/ sweet place to stay & very close to Wentworth Garddn centre & the Estate/ park.
Lovely pub, rooms confortable and breakfast was excellent
Noise from constant running of water through the radiator was disturbing at night
The staff were excellent. Very friendly and engaging.
Bathroom was open shower, wet room. Bit awkward.
The location was great for Wentworth and meeting friends Room was nice and spacious Bed was comfy The room had a nice big bathroom and basic toiletries There was available parking adjacent to the property but you need to get there early. Keeping in mind you can't check in til 2 pm The breakfast coffee was nice as was the room we ate in The property has a huge beer garden which I'm sure is lovely in the summer
The property is right on a main road and there was road noise all night, so it wasn't a great night sleep. The room although spacious was very dark. it needed brighter lighting. The food wasn't great. We had an evening meal that was very basic and we chose not to eat it all. Although the breakfast was hot, it wasn't great either. Sausages were inedible Over all its not a property we would recommend or return to
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Shower worked well and nice toiletries supplied.
Ran out of toilet paper fairly quickly as it was the cheap small rolls normally supplied in many basic hotel rooms. I did ask the staff in the pub who manage the rooms but was told they didn’t have any so would have to wait for the cleaners to arrive or take some tissue from the pub toilet dispenser. The overall experience was somewhat inconsistent due to the pub that manages the rooms. While the concept is convenient, the quality of the food served in the pub was disappointing and fell below expectations. Breakfast was adequate, but fairly average and not particularly memorable. Service was mixed throughout the stay. Some members of staff were friendly and helpful, contributing positively to the experience. However, others appeared disengaged and, at times, somewhat moody, which detracted from the overall level of hospitality.
The lady who served us in the evening, Grace, was great. Helpful and good fun
Lovely old Yorkshire building
Full of character
clean tidy & fresh
Great location. Room was dated but very clean. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Very warm in the room, which the Mrs liked. Staff are very friendly and informative. All in all a lovely property.
Great staff, Gina and Danielle were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble.
Friendliness and efficiency. Made to feel extremely welcome.
Lovely room and breakfast
Room and pub facilities good
Waiting time for check in

Lovely old world pub.
Lovely decor and room. Beautiful surroundings. Breakfast and breakfast room were both lovely.
Having to cross the road each time, it was a busy road at times with cars flying down which was tricky for my mother. Bar staff took ages to serve and there were continually long queues.
Friendly, lovely spot, great fur a stopover or longer. Nice pub and an interesting village.
Road through the village needs traffic calming
Unfortunately, they called the evening before our stay to advise the too was unavailable, due to a water leak.
Unfortunately, they called the evening before our stay to advise the too was unavailable, due to a water leak.
Disgusted by the treatment we received.
Staff
Very clean room with large bathroom, friendly staff the pub has a very nice Restaurant. The village is spotless and nice to wander around.
Can't think of a thing
Very clean and a great location. Great value room which did the job very well.
As a very old building the stairs were very narrow, but of course this could not be helped by the hotel owners.
Room was very comfortable, breakfast was good
I stayed in room 1 - it would be nice to have a blind on the outer door, to allow the room to be made dark to sleep
Room was lovely. Large bed very, very comfortable. Excellent breakfast and very good value for evening meal too.
Location, rooms in cottage opposite the pub, lovely village , comfy bed.
