Boracay Summer Palace

Clean rooms. Check in time. Came in at 10 am. Asked if we can have early check in. Been at that hotel 3rd time. N 10/1 not peak season. Begged to have an early checked in as we 4 of us left Manila 3 am. No sleep. Been to other hotels n asked n check in granted as early as 19 am even the allowed check in time is 2 pm. No consideration. Allowed at 1 pm where I told front desk the we r so tired as no sleep at all. No one in the room as we first asked to see our room plus not peak season. Policy she said. This is my third time there n liked the cleanliness. Also walking to the beach area, the walk way not great. Right of way. Not safe n dark. Management should improve it like putting some light post n cementing the walkway towards the beach. This time. I am disappointed no consideration for us. I wouldn’t beg if we r not tired n had enough sleep.

Count your amenities bfore and after stay , they will charge you once missing. We supposed to be charged by the staff even there mistake. But we insist we count so they returned the money.

The best thing about our stay in the hotel is the front desk staff named BELLE. She is very helpful courteous patient, has pleasing personality too. The housekeeping staff is also commendable for responding to our needs right away

We did not use the hotel... we moved out the first night.. if you could refund my payment that will be nice... its undescribable how ugly it is.... very 😠 frustrated...

Hotel was old and room had a terrible mildew smell. U could tell the mold had been painted over. Barhroom was nice, bed was hard and pool was cloudy the whole time. Super sketchy walk to the beach. Would have been nice to have a chair on the porch or a chaise lounge at the pool that wasnt floor level. Staff was very helpful.

Very quaint hotel with a beautiful pool. The breakfast is simple, yet delicious, and the staff are extremely kind and professional. It is a 3 minute walk to the beach along a private path. I would also recommend the room service massage as a must.

Bed feels damp. There's small insects crawling on the beds. When you walk in to the room it smells molds.

Location is fair , hotel is clean , staff were excellent , area to walk to the beach is not too pleasant

RM - 205 Check in was simple and easy. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Property felt safe, road was not paved but still easy access to the beach. Pool was clean and convenient. Shower/bathroom was spacious however, no hot water in the shower or sink faucet. Water pressure was good enough. TV was chromecast only no TV channels. Bed was large(King with 2 pillows) and comfortable, bed is more firm than soft if that detail is helpful. AC worked well and can get very cold if needed. WiFi could have been more reliable and faster but overall not terrible. Check out was quick and painless.

Amazing value for the price. They’re located just minutes walk away from the beautiful white sand beach. The sunset at white sand was just mesmerizing. Maybe because i went during the weekday but the beach wasn't that crowded in station 2. The property was nice. They have a pool, that is such a great amenity if you have kids. The room i stayed in was the basic 2 twin beds for me was comfortable as i was just there to sleep and shower because during the day i was busy with ocean activities. The air conditioning was cold. The water was Hot. They even provided an umbrella for the brief rain showers during my stay. To me the staff is what makes this property 5 star the front desk receptionists were very helpful. If im back in Boracay im definitely booking this place again.

Ambience is really good and the room is clean, the bathroom is so spacious and clean as well, this is good for family and as well as friends. This is the most peaceful hotel i have been to in boracay the pool is also clean and nice fresh air, the staffs are amazing they are really helpful and making sure that the guest would enjoy their stay. For me the stay here is 10/10 , everytime im here in boracay i always choose to stay here in summer palace.

This looks amazing this place but sadly a couple of things let it down. I was going to leave a 5 star review apart from a couple of very irritating things. One, the road and path leading to the hotel is flooded and like a dirt track, we were there in rainy season but even without that the road is rough and not easy to walk on. Two. The room was great and very comfortable, but sadly the housekeeping staff let it down. From around 7am everyday housekeeping staff would be shouting to each other and woke us up everyday, no respect for people that wanted to sleep. I was woken at 7.30 am one day by an industrial noisy vacuum clean that the clean was using to vacuum the outdoor path. It was so noisy I had to get dressed and tap her on the shoulder to switch off.

First of all, the rate was catchy as for a stay in boracay, this place was definitely affordable. Their pool is nice considering it is warm, which makes it good for kids to swim on at night. This is actually one of the things I considered as my son loves to swim at night. It is not beach front but it is only a 2-3min walk, to the beach. It is also very quiet, like if you want to relax in a quiet hotel in boracay, you can consider taking this. On the other hand, upon entering, I didn't like the smell. It was the linens/bed that smells odd. The bed linens (bedsheet, pillow cover etc.) looks old as they aren't white anymore, surely needs to be replaced already. Also, there were black ants crawling on the bed which made me worried because they might be crawling on us while asleep (might get an interrupted sleep).

Good location, 2/3 minutes to the beach, nice pool, if rooms (bathroom bit smelly), breakfast is not bad with a few options, very affordable price, and staff is very friendly and polite, specially Ms. Monneth. I could stay there again!

This is our 2nd time here in Boracay Summer Palace and Our stay was really superb. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy. Place is so relaxing. Staff were friendly and accommodating, not only that, their staff would really extend an extra mile to assist their guests (Super thank you to Ms May and Sir Mark!). We really enjoyed our stay. Great job to the whole team.

Centrally located Mediterranean interior/style hotel very near d’mall. Just 3 minute walk to the beach. Price is reasonable. Well trained hotel staff are very good, knowledgeable & helpful. Bathroom is spacious, aircon is new. Pool is big. We had a Lovely stay!

We had a fantastic experience at Boracay Summer Palace. The place is nice, with super friendly staff who were always accommodating. The pool, while shallow, was heated and provided a pleasant environment for relaxation. The garden area added to the overall beauty of the place. The rooms, specifically the standard twin room we stayed in, were clean and comfortable. The beds were conveniently placed next to each other, which worked great for us. The staff was attentive, and the bathroom was impressively spacious. The shower was enjoyable, and although we didn't request room cleaning, the overall cleanliness was well-maintained. The hotel is not beachfront, but the 2-3 minute walk to the beach was convenient with two accessible paths. Additionally, the hotel's location allowed easy access for our senior companion as e-trikes could conveniently stop in front. We would definitely choose to stay at Boracay Summer Palace again if we return to Boracay.

Wonderful place to stay, very quiet and peaceful, good sized family room, and great location close to the beach.

The hotel is fine, clean with good staff, accommodating, friendly. But is very inconveniently located far from the beach. One has to negotiate small roadways or eskinitas which is not straight and vacant properties that are barely covered with rusting gi sheets. Very dangerous for pedestrians.

The property is showing a little wear which is expected. The staff was great. We had an issue because we booked a hotel on another big website, that hotel was unaccredited therefore we could not ferry onto the island. We were instructed to book at least one night in an accredited hotel. We selected this place. On day two we went to the hotel we had originally booked. We ended up back at the Beach Palace. They had to shuffle some things around but were able to accommodate us and at a fare rate. We enjoyed our stay there very much. If I return to the island I will stay here again.

Positive: 1. Staffs are very kind and lovely. 2. The hotel itself is very elegant and comfortable. 3. Very near to the beach and the access is very safe. 4. Smoking area in the back door is very lovely and there are a lot of trees. 5. Water pressure is very strong equipped with hot water too but you won’t feel it like a nearby beach hotel because the water taste normally. 6. Free welcome drink. 7. Even though I not use it but the pool very clean and quite spacious. 8. The room is very clean, waxed and spacious with chair and small table outside the room with view to the garden. 9. There is a hospital in a walking distance and a lot of restaurants and pharmacies. Negative: 1. The road to the hotel quite rough and small. Luckily we came at dry season. So it’s not wet and muddy. 2. No restaurant at the property so no breakfast.

Wonderful experience! The hotel is a hidden treasure. Located at Station 2 but in between beach front and main road hotels, which gives you a quieter vibe. Reasonably priced but does not compromise on cleanliness and staff service quality is superb. We originally booked for 2 nights but extended for 1 more as the stay was a pleasant surprise.

Good place to stay, room was a bit small, good size bathroom facilities. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Access to the beach seemed a bit out of the way at first, but after that was ok. Alley access to the hotel was a bit questionable, but ok. Nice swimming pool, and very accessible. Would like to give the hotel itself an excellent rating, but overall very good.

The rooms and sheets are clean. Pool is nice. The downside as follows, not beach front, the alley way to the beach was muddy and flooded when it rains. They will only give you 1 key even when you asked for 2 keys. Their policy is 1 key only even if there is 4 of you in a room and if you take the keys electricity will be off. They have no kitchen you have to go out to find food.

Near the beach, friendly staff, location near everything…

Our family stayed here for 1 week. We got a couple of rooms here which were of decent size and had decent air con. However room 203 had a serious smell in it. The staff were nice and friendly and Sharon was just lovely. The pool was cleaned daily too. The road leading up too the hotel was a mess and the Short cut to the beach was walking on a building site. We feel foul to the missing towel scam and got charged accordingly upon check out. Overall an ok hotel. Would I return - probably not. They also had a deal on when we stayed which was for 2500php for 2.

Pros: - Amazing staff: everyone is friendly and accommodating (security, receptionist, servers, barista, manager). They attend to our needs immediately - Room is neat and clean. I especially love the bathroom - they have hair dryer and hot shower. Towels are replaced and supplies (toothbrush, bottled water, comb, cotton buds, coffee) are replenished daily. Wifi is fast. Cable TV is available. - View is above average. You can choose between garden or pool view - we can easily access both. We’re booked in a room with garden view - Service is excellent: true to their name (palace), they treat you like royalty - welcome drinks provided; requests are easily accommodated - we asked for plates since we ordered food outside. Even though their restaurant is closed atm, they still let us use their cutleries. They apologized that they do not have forks (which isnt necessary for me :)) then their manager told one of the staffs to get forks by tomorrow 😁 Cons: - The walkway going to this place needs attention - though it’s not the resort’s fault since they share the road with a hospital, Hennan and a few other residential houses - mud water tends to build up especially during the rainy season. I hope the local govt gives priority to this issue. Nevertheless, this did not affect my wonderful experience in BSP. This is my 4th time in Boracay and indeed, this is the best accommodation I’ve been to ❤️

We only had an overnight stay but the experience was wonderful. The place was clean and comfortable. It was peaceful and relaxing. Moreover the staff were polite and courteous most especially the front desk lady, Maria. She was very accommodating and cheerful. She had eagerly assisted me from booking my reservation to our stay in the hotel. We will definitely come back.

First... getting to it is down an alley and a few minutes walk. It's tucked behind another hotel. On a good note the hotel is so quiet and serene because of it. Rooms are a good size with generous bathrooms. The hotel staff was so friendly and accommodating. My favorite part was the large swimming pool at night, it's like you get it all to yourself. Location is about 10 minutes walk to the beach via the main road... don't take the back way.

The staff here are really nice and helpful, but it just was a nasty hotel. The sheets and pillowcases were greasy feeling, (I put a T-shirt over it when I laid down). The bathroom was actually nice but one of my towels had a blood stain on it. The room I was in was also like a prison cell, super dark and there were lots of bugs, (mosquitos and ants). I ended up just taking the loss and I checked out 2 days early and booked the rest of my trip at the Hennan Garden Resort, which was a great experience. The hotel does have a nice private path to the beach which was convinient. Overall this place would have been perfect if it weren't for the inside of the rooms.

The place is 5 minutes walk from the beachfront. It was cozy and chic. But I hope you do something about the mosquitoes inside and outside the rooms. And maybe do something about the algae around the pool. Overall, it was comfortable and much more than what we expected.

Short walk to white beach through back yard (watched by hotel personnel for safety) and bamboo market. Nice little "front porch" right outside your room with a rack for wet swimming wear. Room felt clean, ok wifi, more mosquitos probably due to pond behind facility. Stayed three nights and it was good value given location in station 2. Clean pool. Did not try breakfast as it wasn't included in price. Found good options at the beach.

Basic hotel but value for money

The hotel is not visible from the highway and no rides can go in except motor or tricycle, so you have to walk 1 block with all your luggages to get into the hotel lobby. We booked the Suite for 5people. Room is big and clean enough but the structures, furnitures and toilet plumbing are old. There are windows inside the rooms but no views at all. The swimming pool looks ordinary looking. Wall paints inside and outside are old. The hotel is located near the beach but you have to go through an ally and inside market or vendors before you see the beach. Hotel employees are nice but make sure you count all the towels and drinks from the fridge everyday during your stay and let them know in advance what missing because when you checked out, they may charge you any item missing even if you didn’t use or take them. The nightly rate I paid are too high for this hotel.

Don’t be fooled by its entrance, the hotel itself is a cool stay. Walking distance to the beach, through an area for shopping. Would be good if room slippers were provided.

Went for holy week vacation. Good location near white beach through a private path and the bamboo mall. Plenty of stores and restaurants around. Hotel condition shows signs of aging. Pool is OK. Breakfast offered has limited options and not that tasty. Room was spacious as well as the bathroom and cleaned every day but we spotted spider nets on the ceiling. Overall an average experience

now undergoing construction for expansion, a lil noisy during the day. but all in all its a good hotel and not a long walking distance to the beachfront.

Avoid this place, we were there from Feb 13th to 16th and construction is going on next door, it goes on from 7 am (or earlier) to 10 pm at night. The room (standard) was small and dark like a prison cell, the wi-fi is garbage, got sick after swimming in the pool and the AC never really got cold! Avoid this place until the nearby construction stops!

enjoyed six nights with my wife and her family , we booked 2 rooms , the pool was beautiful , staff are nice and attentive , location just few steps to white beach and few steps to the main backroad .

Quiet, relaxing and comfortable evening

We arrived at the hotel and were given our room, 223 but the aircon didn't work and the room was so hot. Next day spoke to reception and all they said was it was to hot for the air to work well, (Bullsh*t ) They then moved us to another room, 123 and it was fine. We then got a phone call to say we have been upgraded to a deluxe so we moved again next day, 3 rooms in 3 days, not a very relaxing way to start our weeks holiday there. Overall the hotel was OK but there are many choices around for the same money or less. We won't be staying here again. Neil and Joan Pritchard ( Australia )

Great hotel,mini resort set just a few minutes walk through them panda market to the beach! Fantastic pool with a handy bar should you need refreshments. Service is fine the location is great and security is well above what you need.so I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel is not grand as what you saw in the picture. 1) Air con is not cold 2) Toilet flush is not strong, unable to flush unwanted waste away 4) No other rooms available when request 3) Buffet breakfast at the hotel, food is not nice 4) Staffs are very friendly but lack of initiatives. Eg: you have to request for a ash tray even though the staffs saw you smoking

Overall, it was a great stay. Hotel location was prime spot for the beach and local attractions.

The hotel location is good whereby it is within few mins walk to the beach(station 2) and the D'mall and D'talipapa wet market. We enjoy the time stay there as you don't get disturb by the hustle bustle of the noises at the beach club area. The breakfast is no good and we literally skipped it after tried it for 1 day. Also, i think they should improve their wifi system as they are extremely slow....... Another plus point of this hotel is that they have a pool, so if swimming in the ocean is not your thing, you can have some good time in the pool.

Few minutes walk from the beach which suited me to be away from the loud music played beach front Room and bathroom were clean with the exception of stains from leak above . Pool was the main attraction at this hotel. Check in was like an interrogation too many question , check out was smooth

Nice hotel, clean room. Breakfast is ok , tried it one morning but not a lot of choices. Only one fruit which is a warm watermelon. Staff are lovely. Over all it was a pleasant 5 days stay. The Puka beach is the one to go for a nice quiet sunbathing, Take note 150 pesos to go there in a tricycle , Lots of restaurant and all have their own entertainment, Live bands and Fire performers. Red Coconut is a nice ambience and staff were so attentive. The Comfort Rooms seems a problem when you're out and about in the D'mall, its either closed or blocked or dirty. We keep walking back to our hotel just to use lavatory.

Hotel was quite disappointing. Slow service with weird rules (they have a sign at check in telling guests you can't have henna tattoos or use coconut oil, odd to have a hotel put limitations on people's vacations.) luckily we were only at this hotel for one night, the room was small with no natural light, felt like a prison cell. The bathroom was fine with a nice shower and soft towels. Breakfast was mediocre. Checkout was also very slow and annoying. Also found it odd checkout was at noon and by 11:15am they were knocking on the door asking when we were leaving. One positive was the location, it was great with a short walk to white beach where everything is.

this was a great hotel, well placed near market and beach, pool was nice, room and bathrooms were great, only fault was there was no gym to exercise in or lift weights. Security is hypervigilant at times especially when I was bringing in guests other than that I had a positive experience.

Fine for a shprt stay if you get it cheap enough, but there are many problems here. Below are some of my comments about the place. 1. Dining ~ only breakfast available. No restaurant at other times. Breakfast wasnt terrible but not exactly up to the standards of some other hotels (at the same price range) in the philippines 2. Bar ~ 120peso is too expensive for a beer! The only shake available was mango. No ice-cream too. 3. Pool - pool was fine. It's clean and a nice area to relax at. 4. The room. Standard room would be fine ~ except - damp toilet, smelly - loads of mosquitos when we arrived first (though staff did come and spray when i asked ~ but this should be done before entry) - they give a kit including toothbrush and a bar of soap. There is also bodywash in a wall dispenser (maybe) but no shampoo. - toilet was constantly leaking water from underneath. - no room service 5. Facilities/services - Airport transfer was booked through hotel and done by Southwest. Was fine except for every porter along the way asking for tips for carrying a bag 3 meters. - no spa. massage is possible at the hotel but only in your own room - staff were generally friendly and helpful - beach towels available to use at pool and at beach
