Everything was great! Close to the beach, restaurant was great and staff was extremely friendly. Except for the reception person but other than that it was a great stay.

Me gustó el hotel, llegué con otras espectativas pero me fui sorprendido, Para mejorar desde mi punto de vista debido a la fuerte temperatura estaría genial que la alberca tuviera sombra para poder disfrutar más la estancia en el hotel, y camastros en la playa con sombra

Muy cercano playa y alberca, espacios para estar con tu familia, mesas afuera de las habitaciones de planta baja muy bien, habitación amplia, personal de limpieza excelente, wifi malo, señal de teléfono Movistar malísima, no hay baño en el área de alberca, faltan unas palapas en la playa o servicio de préstamo o renta de sombrillas para la playa

The hotel is right on the beach, so it doesn’t get much better than that. Rooms could use updating but the AC works great, which is most important. The guy at the front desk hates his job.

Pool was in terrible shape and that was a vacación killer for my family

WE HAD A GOOD STAY, THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND WELL TAKEN CARE OF. THE POOL WAS OUT OF SERVICE, AND IT WAS MAINLY THE REASON WE GOT THE HOTEL BECAUSE THERE WAS POOL FOR THE KIDS.

Very nice! Wish there were more points of access to the beach. Also, the side lounging area next to the pool needs some work. Over all, it was a great experience, the restaurant was so good and the staff was very friendly

No grills or cooking at the property at all. Requested downstairs and got upstairs with several handicap people. No elevator. While families with kids were downstairs

It was good for the price. Prob needs an upgrade on the furniture and maybe a mini fridge in the rooms. But very convenient. Private beach, nice pool restaurant was good.

Great place for a quiet getaway or a night out. All rooms have a sea view and just a few steps to the beach.

Esta Propiedad no cuenta con nada de servicios basicos Muy abodonada nesesita en sus cuarto por lo menos agua Un Refrigerador chico .una cafetera . Las Camas Malas .las almuhada .La piscina Deteriorada no hay personal que atienda nada en fin no volveria a este Hotel

Location is good. Building and furnitures are very old.

In my opinion, this hotel was great. I was nervous when I saw the reviews but it was AMAZING! I definitely recommend staying here. The beach is literally a 4 minute walk and it’s a private one too.

No hay internet, no agarraba la señal

Hotel is old now, I booked two rooms and both had issues. One the A/c kept blowing the fuse, the 2nd room had issues with the toilet and wouldn’t flush. The pool has so many broken tile in the water that cut up your toes. For the amount you spend in this hotel you can definitely find something better.

Estuvimos muy agusto, solamente que NO HABÍA INTERNET EN EL CUARTO, eso para las personas que hacemos Home Office nos afecta demasiado! Esperemos que lo tomen en cuenta! Gracias ✨️

It is my first time in San Felipe; it is nice and within the budget for a vacation or weekend getaway. The hotel is outdated but very clean, and the pool and beach are clean. Everyday room service, a big room, a small free bottle of water daily, towels and shampoo, and a nice restaurant. What I don't like is that there are stray dogs on the beach; there is not enough information about what to bring or what is allowed to bring, as some guests have their own BBQ and chairs and an umbrella. the Hotel is very close to downtown.

The front desk asked for a cash deposit which they never return. Nobody knew who to contact regarding our deposits and where robbed from that money.

We enjoy the Hotel El Cortez friendly staff, room very clean, very relaxing place. Restaurant was clean the food very good and fast service.

Its an old hotel. 10 minute walk along the beach shore to the Malecon. The Hotel restaurant is expensive but good. There is no coffee machine and no refrigerator and no ice, everything needs to purchase at the hotel restaurant hours 6am-10pm

Hace falta una sombra que cubra la alberca y el área infantil el día que fui tenía muchísimo cloro ya que picaba la piel.

Easy check in, large room, the staff was friendly, nice pool area, plenty of parking, close to town but away from city noise. 24 hour security guard. The shower didn't get very warm.

The pool was dirty and the kids couldn’t play in it. Neither was it heated. The rooms are clean but could have made them closer to the beach rather than blocking their view with a restaurant in front. But if you are staying just a night and riding on the it is fine.
