Quiet location. Easy to find and good parking.

People above us were up at 04:38. Noise carries between floors as well as between adjacent units.

Easy to find, parking was easy, rooms where clean and beads where comfy

It was fine in general.

We had a room at ground floor and we could hear every step of the people staying in the room above us. It would be nice to have some plates and cutlery in the room.

Accommodation was clean, the bed was comfortable and staff was pleasant.

Was pretty dark and noisy. Can hear the people upstairs walking around and talking as well as outdoor noise. Price was a bit high for what it was.

The two owners were lovely. Assisted us whenever we needed anything.

It's a great Canadian Run business - no frills though. But was clean and functional. Hotel Prices in the Golden to Salmon Arm corridor are always overpriced for what they deliver. If you can make it to Kamloops you will save 50 to 75 dollars a night. But if you need to stay in Revelstoke - this is a good option.

The booking.com website said there was breakfast when there wasn't. Not a huge deal, but just something to watch out for. The guy running the place is right out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie - but it is a good hotel and they communicate well and everything is ready for you when you get there.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and the price was fair. With many other places in town at higher prices, I chose Monashee specifically for a lower price option for an extended stay.

Kinda hard to complain really. Occasionally you could hear guests from other rooms snoring throughout the night but noise levels were still reasonable.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Will stay here again.

The owner was amazing, helpful and a good chat

Although the rooms had been renovated in the past year, our room was still off-gassing from the carpet & linoleum glue. And because it was so hot & smokey outside one couldn’t open the windows and had to use the air conditioner. For some people like ourselves, the odour was nauseating.

The accommodation was in an excellent position. It was very clean & met our needs for an overnight stop. The staff were friendly & helpful.

The air conditioner was quite noisy & aged.

The hosts were lovely to talk with. They are very hardworking and still took time away from their busy schedules to chat up guests.

That they worked late into night to do it again the next day. It is very hard to find part time staff so they are doing it all by themselves.

The staff were very friendly and understanding. I accidentally packed their hair dryer in my suitcase and didn’t realize it until they contacted me while I was already in Vancouver. Instead of charging me, they kindly gave me the opportunity to return it five days later. I really appreciated their patience and understanding, it meant a lot to me.

The owner was really nice and helpful.

Nice place with a really awesome staff guy at the desk. If you want an inexpensive place to be that's clean and covers the basics for a night stay, this is great.

We did have a bit of a laugh at how small the TV was. But that's not why we were there. And certainly we could hear the loud neighbors with the kids but when we turned on the air conditioning machine the White noise blanked out everything.

Monashee Lodge is very welcoming, incredibly smart, modern & clean, comfortable, secure and possibly the cheapest in town but the cost you pay is for very very thin walls and floors. It's a real shame than when decorating they didn't employ modern acoustic dampening techniques. You can hear (and feel) literally everything through the walls and floor above, every footstep, light switch, tap turn, toilet flush, extractor fan, muffled conversion, TV (wall mounted), door opening/closing, and next doors aircon reverberating your room. Sleep can therefore be limited to when the last person (above or either side of your room) goes to bed and when the first rises. You also hear the passing trains quite clearly. Honestly, I've stayed in quieter hostel dorms. There is a fridge and coffee machine in the standard rooms, but the communal kitchen, games room and laundry look like they have been closed for some time. There are signs to prevent cooking in the room. Bathrooms specifically state not to store gear in them. The bathroom disappointingly runs off the room thermostat, so if you want to dry your towels overnight you will boil in your room in summer. As a result our towels stayed damp overnight and this design flaw (along with extractors people turn off too soon due to the noise) may also be the reason why the room smelt slightly damp upon arrival. You can watch live TV or you can buy movies from Telus. I'm not sure if this is profitable for owners but you can't log in to your own TV accounts or stream to the TV from your phone. In comparison the previous motel we stayed at in another destination was silent, we were able to log in to our own Netflix etc, they provided breakfast as well as cooking & laundry facilities, pool, hot tub, sauna and was less than half the price. Whilst Monashee may be the cheapest in Revelstoke, you need to know the above before booking.

Very warm welcome from the owner of the place. We stayed over just for a night on our way to Banff which was the perfect stay. Clean and comfy. Nice walk into town with good food and all else you need.

Nette Lodge um Revelstoke zu erleben. Zur Ankunft gab es Tipps, was man unternehmen kann. Vor jedem Zimmer gab es eine Bank, auf der man den Tag ausklingen lassen konnte. Ein Café mit gutem Frühstück war in fünf Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Es gab zwar eine Mikrowelle aber kein Geschirr so dass man damit wenig anfangen konnte.

No hair conditioner

Gepflegte Unterkunft, die ausreichend Platz bietet und wo an vieles gedacht wurde (Handtücher, Fön, Kühlschrank, kleiner Kaffeeautomat, Seife, dunkle Vorhänge). Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Steckdosenleiste inkl USB-Ports auf dem Nachttisch, der zwischen den Betten steht. Wir waren zu zweit unterwegs und jede hatte ihr eigenes Queensize-Bett - sehr komfortabel!

Die Nähe zu den Zuggleisen und der Zug fährt oft. Mit Ohropax geht’s, da hört man sogar den Kühlschrank kaum noch.

Quiet location close to food options

Very depressing room with dark grey office carpet tiles. Bedding looked a bit yellowed and wasn't cotton. Overall feel was a bit run down.

We stayed at Monashee Lodge during our Canada trip and were honestly really impressed for the price. The rates were very affordable, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and while the property itself is definitely older, you can tell genuine effort has gone into keeping it clean and tidy. It’s not pretending to be a luxury resort, but for a comfortable, budget-friendly stay in Revelstoke, it exceeded our expectations. Great value for money, somewhere we’d happily stay again, and we’ll definitely be recommending it to friends heading through the area.

I was very impressed with the gentleman who was running the hotel in the evening. The highway was closed at Roger's pass and everybody I spoke to in Golden said it was still closed. The fellow at the front desk however looked it up for me and found it to be open so we came on through! Thank you for that indeed! I shall be back one day I'm sure!

I had a great stay at the Monashee Lodge. The staff were great. Location was also good.

very comfortable spacious room for 3 of us. The bathroom had recently been renovated and was lovely. There was a good sized mini-fridge as well as a microwave and coffee maker (plus coffee pods) in the room. Great Value in Revelstoke.

The walls are quite thin. As a result, I could hear the neighbour's entire conversation and his snoring kept me up. There was erroneous information on Booking.com that led me to believe breakfast was included but it was not. I snapshotted the page for hotel staff but they were unable to find it so that it could be corrected for future travellers.

Upstairs people were extremely loud at night unable to sleep and neighbors next door were extremely loud as well

The hotel was clean and modern with comfortable beds and a coffee machine. We arrived at 10pm and left at 3pm. The staff were amazing.

The only down side of this hotel is the walls were thin and we could hear the neighbours TV and the murmur of voices. But at 100$ for a room this is a small price to pay. Bring ear plugs if this might bother you.

We took a road trip from Vancouver to Quebec. We stayed at this hotel on our way through British Columbia. We felt very comfortable and received a warm welcome. A very nice motel, good value for money, beautiful rooms. Everything was great, thank you very much.
