Stayokay Eindhoven - Hostel

I really enjoyed my stay at Blue Collar Hotel. Great for solo travellers.

Scarsa come camera e rumorosa non abbiamo dormito. Grazie

Supermooi hotel, oude fabriek; ingericht in industriële stijl. Leuke bar, zeer vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt bescheiden, maar erg lekker.

Absolutely nice unusual hotel. For solo travellers, or party goers. Though, I am not sure about families with children.

Would recommend the blue collar all day long. Large spacious rooms with comfy clean beds. Almost all the staff were so lovely & friendly, going above & beyond to help, 1 female bar staff wasn't approachable which was unfortunate & brought the atmosphere down.

Hotel is nice, conveniently located for the airport and has a good price. Unfortunately there was a piece of glass on the floor of my room which caused me a very deep and large wound on the sole of my foot, which is not a nice way to start your vacation, this tells me the room wasnt thoroughly vacuumed and is the reason I wont be giving 5 stars

The building was a bit old. There is no English channels for people that does not understand dutch.

The hotel is old and dilapidated. No sleep on horrible beds. Woken up at 0705 to a fire alarm that once we reached the bottom was okay, no fire, alarm range for 20 minutes. I would not stay here again for free.

Hoog plafond (10mtr?) moelijk auto parkeren inde buurt. Meeste parkeer garages voor bewoners appartement. Bussen regelmatig in loop afstand. Binnen 10 a 12 minuten in het centrum.

I loved staying here, loved the vibe. I was impressed with what they did with the industrial building. The location was perfect to catch the train, the room was super clean and the bar was so much fun. I will definitely be back.

Betrokken en behulpzaam personeel. Betaalbaar en goede afstand naar stad.

Unique building (old factory); no storage for bikes.

Heel leuk gedaan. Net personeel. Nette kamer. Prima verbleven 😃

Nice hotel, good restaurant and bar downstairs

Great vibe quirky decor and great location

All is good!

Room was horribly and cheaply built. Bathroom held together by planks of wood, If you wanted to shower you had to mop it all up yourself after cause there was nothing to guide the water into the drain . Bare pipes snaking across a ceiling that was falling apart. The floor was steel no carpet to speak of. Horrible looking, all it had was heating and a somewhat comfortable bed. should be half the price of what it is now.

We konden pas exact 2 minuten over 3 inchecken.

Prijs/ kwaliteit prima in verhouding

Prima hotel. Entree mag wel wat schoner. Uitstraling café is super.

Prima hotel voor een overnachting

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Blue Collar hotel. I loved the cheerfulness and cleanliness of the property, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. I felt at ease during my stay and really enjoyed my time there.

Central Hotel, Clean and friendly staff.

Fantastic hotel and bar. Staff friendly.

Stayed here for the first time. The hotel is in an old factory and the rooms are loft like and simple but comfortable. I slept like a baby.

I didn't enjoy the stay that much. We didn't had any wifi connection in our room. I mean we suppose to have wifi but it just was so poor that we couldn't use it. Stuff didn't helped us out with that. Room was clean. Windows couldn't be open and i couldn't close the curtains properly. Not really comfortable room.

Cool interior, friendly staff

Hotel was excellent, great music all day. Rooms are a good use of the Phillips factory building

Picked this place for the price and the location. Parking for cars is not great. Rooms are a bit basic and "funky" but good value for money nonetheless. Downstairs the bar and restaurant area was great, rock-and-roll themed, Warsteiner on tap, good bar food and breakfast. Would stay again.

Extremely interesting converted industrial building with spacious rooms

Cheap but quirky and fun

found bag of weed in my room!!! under the water boiler

The hotel is quite enjoyable and beautiful. I really liked its unique style. The only downside for me was that I asked for a double bed and was given two separate beds instead. Unfortunately, I was there during the Health measures imposed by the Government and could not enjoy a nice drink at the bar in the evening but other than that I really enjoyed my stay.

Nice location. The Strijp is a special place in Eindhoven.

Great hotel, friendly staff, excellent food. Very much a home from home. Will always stay at this hotel when in Eindhoven from now on. Bart the boss man is a gentleman.

Although we could not enter NL due to border Closing (Covid19) the hotel was not accommodating at all. We did not get a voucher neither the Money back. The comment from the Management was "These are hard times for everyone and unfortunately there are limits to what we can and cannot do about a booking."

Unique, quirky, fun and good value. Good location for the restaurants and Bars of Strijp S area of Eindhoven. Great use of space in converting a former factory into a hotel

Unique conversation for industrial building to stylist hotel. Lovely and fun, good bar, excellent surround amenities for restaurants and local train

Dorm was great! Bed was comfortable and the linen and beddings are really clean :) I slept on the top bunk for one night. Everything was perfect including the bathroom! But I would appreciate it more if there were hair dryers provided.. other than that it's a 9/10 :)

Had a 1 night stay recently and was generally really impressed. If you’re looking for somewhere a bit “different”... this is definitely worth a look. (If you prefer a more corporate style such as Premier inn, Hilton, etc you’ll be in for a shock lol) Staff were all polite, friendly and helpful. The place was spotlessly clean (despite its very quirky industrial design in places). They were doing some building work but even the tools and bits laying around made you wonder if they were genuine work tools or part of the set dressing lol Only slight negative was I tried the burger and it wasn’t great...it was very very soft in texture but perhaps that’s a cultural difference in how they like theirs cooked. It wouldn’t stop me staying again, but I’d opt to eat somewhere else. There was also excellent transport links to the city centre. The Strip train station is less than 1 min walk away, and it’s about the same from the 401 bus stop. Overall, couldn’t fault it for under €25 for the night!

Staff very bad don’t want to help very rude, in the bar the service very slow and look like don’t want to work

The property was ok for the price you pay, so can’t complain but the stuff are not friendly at all speacially when you don’t speak their language, they will treat you like animal 😬, but apart from that it was OK.

Fantasic place, great food, fab staff

Everything was fine till the second night when we found insects in our bed and running on our pillows at night and we informed the reception but they just said they are sold out and can't do anything about it

Bar good. No hairdryer. Not enough wardrobe space just 2 works metal lockers. Friendly staff. Good location.

This was the perfect choice for a 3 member girls trip in the Netherlands. Loved the coolness of the place, the cleanness of the room, the bar right next to the reception, the unique r'n'r style and still high quality standards. Room was clean and comfy staff was lovely and helpful all in all we had an awesome time!

Lady gave me a open space for my bicycle, large full 8' high lockers, by 2'. Plug by bed for charging, light by bed. Big roomy comfortable bed. No windows BUT air system kept air moving. 1st time I needed a heavy blanket. Washrooms, toilet you had room to move had a ledge for your things. Shower hot large, shelf and 2 hooks, plus shower had a ledge, room to get changed. Sinks only by shower did they have soap, not by toilets. Mixed washroom and shower. 34 allowed in room but it was quite.

Reception is kind of like part of the bar downstairs which was a little confusing but check-in was fast. Dorm bed was ok. Simple, just needed a bed for an early flight. Lots of people moving in and out of the room so a bit noisy if you don't have earplugs. Close to the airport bus stop and in a quiet part of town a bit of a walk from the center area and station. The dorm is fine if you just need a bed for the night. Staff were nice and helpful. Bar seemed like a cool place to hang if I had more time.

Hatd to find the reception as it was inside a bar!

super cosy bed. staff 10 cleanliness 10 really had a good time looking forward to comming back some time

Friendly staff. Contrary to some reviews we didn't hear any loud music including when we were in the bar. Perhaps being there out of season made a difference. Overall we had a good experience and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Alternative style in a quiet area. Very cool young and warm.

The way the hotel is decorated makes little sense; it's a bunch of items thrown together with as much disharmony as possible. Also, inside the rooms, the bathroom feels more spacious than the bedroom, which lacks a proper table. For example, I could not place my portable computer along with my mouse anywhere. I also want to note that the locker room was very dirty. However, the staff was quite nice and I enjoyed the bar, which is lively but not excessively so.

Nice, employed and helpful service. I am greeting Jacek

Check-in is fairly late (from 16:00), but apart from that, this is a nice place! The beds were comfortable and the bathroom facilities were relatively clean considering the amount of people sharing them (approx. 24 people, I think). The bar area downstairs has a wonderful atmosphere with fantastic food and drinks, even better music, and there are also books, games, and even a piano available for guests. The members of staff whom I had the pleasure of coming into contact with were all exceptionally helpful and lovely. Just one small complaint regarding the dorms, unfortunately: as there is no locking mechanism on the doors from the shared bathrooms to the dorms, and two dorms share the same bathroom, guests can easily get into the other dorm that they're not staying in, and as the "lockers" in the dorms don't actually lock, it seems like a bit of a security risk to me!

Very nice. Staff very friendly. Cigarette machine is a nightmare. Good drinks. Fantastic food- delicious. Excellent location for walking the city. Good breakfast. English proficiency very high amount staff. Rock and roll atmosphere likely packed on weekend but mid week was quiet. Overall excellent accommodation for the price

Room and bathroom clean. Nicely designed bar at the entrance. Hotel Staff was very nice.

Cool decoration. Air conditioning could not be sadjusted or witch off in the room. It is general . Simple hlass windows

The blue collar hotel is a great place to stay. Converted old factory that is also a bar and a concert place for live shows. Room was clean and big for 3 people, didn't get the breakfast but heard from others it's also good. Good WiFi coverage with good speed. Bus is close by and so is the train station, can get to the city center in about 10-15 minutes. The only "bad" part is the train near by, can hear it... Not too loud so it didn't bother me too much. In total a great inexpressive place to stay.

Was lovely to stay there for 3 nights, very quiet during night so you can actually sleep and rest. Bar downstairs is awesome, loved the music

Stayed here in a twin room with my sister, the room has an industrial feel, high ceilings with old work lights, metal lockers and grey bumpy Linoleum on the floor which was pretty cool looking if slightly basic.Room had tv private bathroom and excellent WiFi.The bar downstairs had great beer and a cool rock vibe but was chilled enough to have a conversation. The only downside was the room was right next to stairwell on a floor with hostel guests sitting in hallways talking and opening and closing stairwell doors so was a bit noisy.

The adaptation of everyday items such as tables, light fittings and wall fittings was inspirational They have turned a disused office block into a functional hotel with a surprise round every corner We travelled for a psv football match and it was an ideal base being 10 minute walk from football stadium Well recommended and staff and guests were friendly

Very nice place , so close to the centrer ! You can use 401 from the airport to the hotel !

Good for short stays at budget price. Staff is nice, people are good.

What s not good at all is check in at 4 pm,it s not acceptable.no hotel has this condition

Nothing special. It's ordinary dormitory. It should be cleaner a bit, especially there shouldn't be so much dust on the nightstand. And price should be lower. Generally it's quite nice. I'm not too demanding.

Outside bar area directly below the room with partying until 4:30am

As Eindhoven airport is not open 24h, i had to crash there. Ok enough hostel though, but not looking for the fun, was quite expensive for the choice of flight ticket (but the only less expensive option as well.)

everything absolutely spotless, breakfast not cheap but worth every cent, funky place, funky people

Hotel is a renovated industrial building. It was OK but different to the type of room I would normally stay in, but it did have everything! It was clean and the staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. I would stay there again.

Great price/ good experience , liked the decor of bar , was a little noicy into early morning because of bar down stairs

A great, afordable stay, this hotel has a great atmosphere and is perfect for 18 -30 yr old look for a fun place to stay while in Eindhoven. But it is a about 2km from the town centre.

Great location on the bus route from the airport and close to PSV. Area was great for exploring. Staff were brilliant. Rooms were different/unique in a good way, although basic and we didn't get a double bed but it was very comfy. Was quite cheap comparable to rest of Eindhoven, but felt a bit overpriced still for what was basically a private hostel room

Great buzz

Clean and friendly. Good location for travel around the area. OK for Eindhoven centre - 15 minutes walk. Decent breakfast. Helpful staff. No frills.

Clean and comfortable, with a strong and quirky industrial vibe. Packed with character and a great place to stay on a budget. A 20 minute walk from the main train and bus station and well served by bus stops and the Strijp train station is right next to it (we preferred to walk). The bar downstairs looked great and a shame we were so busy that not time to pay a proper visit. Would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed in the Blue Collar 4 times now and I love it. The staff can't do enough for you and the Blue Collar Burgers are to die for. If your in a car park it in the car park opposite and use public transport you have to pay each time you leave the car park but leave your car there for a few days and you will only pay once.. It's about €6 per visit or per weekend if you just leave it there. It's a cool hotel within easy reach of everywhere, the train station is about 300 meters away.

Great place to experience!

We stayed at the Blue Collar Hotel on the recommendation of friends. It is a quirky place that plays well to it's industrial past as part of the Philips factory. Neat touches in the romm include the use of old factory lockers as wardrobes. The check in process is a little slow, but as you are checking-in in the bar area, you can at least have a drink whilst waiting. Staff throughout the hotel, bar and restaurant are friendly and efficient. One thing to note is that there is no charging to the room so, unless you are happy to use a card for every purchase, bring cash. The nearest cashpoint is a good 20 minute walk away.

Had a great welcome from the staff, food was really good, clean and comfortable bedroom, a very enjoyable stay.

Great for phillips stadium with a good choice of beers

It was excellent stay in blue collar hotel, staff was friendly and very helpful. Location superb 10m from the airport in 401 bus and the area up upcoming with cool restaurants and bars 15 m walk from city center. Remark Mateos in reception was takeing care of us as we were travelling with little baby.

We had a wonderful stay, clean room, convenient location, awesome breakfast. We unfortunately stayed on a night when a concert was being held a block away. We couldn't get dinner in the restaurant downstairs and it was loud all night. This wasn't the hotel's fault other than not really being prepared at the restaurant to feed everyone. We enjoyed our stay other than that.

Near to city center(few station by bus),very friendly staff, original room design

Amazing place for a social visit to the city. Friendly and cool.went for a weekend away and our group of 3 grew massively through the people we met. Great value place to stay.. we had a private room.
