Comfortable bed. Great help from staff member Geraldine!

The showerhead needs replacement, the toilet needs fixing or replacement, the standing lamp didn't work. No tissues and too few bath towels upon arrival. The cold breakfast had very limited options.

C'est un coin tranquille. Le personnel est gentil et accueillant. Les chambres sont propres et beaucoup de rangement.

Le seul inconvénient c'est le matelas qui est moins confortable pour deux personnes car il creuse vers le milieu et c'est très désagréable. Mais pour la grandeur qui est demandé elle est exact.

Le personnel, et surtout l’accueil, ont nous a accueilli avec un français impeccable.

2 des préposée du soir, aucun bonjour, air bête, le seul qui était bien était le jeune homme, très sympathique ! Les robinets de la salle de bain qui fonctionne mal, aucune serviettes de bain, seulement des petites serviettes, très décevant !

I went out for breakfast as the breakfast was inadequate

I could not make the TV work, so I called the front desk, but there was no answer, so I was not able to watch the news. They put on the news downstairs, which I was waiting for, but they complained a bit about not knowing where the remote was, then located it in like 15 seconds and then the volume was so low I could not hear it. So, not the best considering the money I paid

The location and staff was excellent

Breakfast was just ok since it was free. Larger bowls and utensils would be nice. The fact that a MICROWAVE was outside my room in the hallway, which I was told it was on each floor is a terrible idea and I've never seen that in a hotel before. People would slam the door on it, it beeped loud at all hours of the night. I would highly suggest you simply put one microwave in the lobby to use and keep them away from guests on the floors. I lost plenty of sleep on account of it some of the nights.

Gute Lage für unseren Roadtrip

Das Hotel wirbt mit einem umfangreichen Frühstück. Für 108 € ( 173 Canadische Dollar) haben wir nicht mit Instand Kaffee ( dafür ist der doch umsonst war die Aussage an der Rezeption) und mit einem schmalspur Frühstück gerechnet. Haben in günstigen Unterkünften auf unserer Reise Besteck, Kaffeebecher und eine größere Auswahl an Frühstück bekommen. Schade, schade das hat sich nicht gelohnt.

Accueil froid à l hôtel, appartement vieillot, coulisses, taches sur murs et portes, moulures brisées etc. , vue derrière de commerces. Un soir, c est assez !

J'aurais aimé avoir le petit déjeuner compris

Les chambres étaient propres et, avec les épisodes de chaleurs de l'été, la climatisation était plus qu'appréciée. Je recommande fortement!

Accomodation was fairly plain, but linen and bathroom were clean. Restaurant is ok. Staff were excellent.

The only positive thing about our entire stay was „Jason“ at the front desk. He greeted everyone with a smile and when I mentioned to him the issues we were having with the toilet not flushing, shower either boiling hot or freezing cold, tap switching off after 3 seconds, he moved us to another room.

The ladies at the front desk were completely helpless and rude. When we walked in, the lady didn‘t even look at us, say hello or ask us our names, she simply said „credit card please“. No breakfast included in the price, no housekeeping. We were given a quarter roll of toilet paper. Floors were absolutely filthy, as was the bathroom. TV volume couldn‘t be adjusted, serious plumbing issues, no coffee cups available with the coffee machine, tabletops covered in a thick layer of dust….. I could go on and on…… I grew up in Dalhousie and left there when I was 17. The hotel is a reflection of the social degradation I saw all around. Very sad. This hotel desperately needs leadership….

Worn-out room with chipped paint, found old soap on bathroom floor and hair in sink.

Staff made us feel so welcome. Also, French and English were spoken. Loved it!

In our room the shower was horrible@ the bathroom needs updating!

It was garbage. The ceiling in the bathroom was leaking from a brown spot, so was the back of the toilet. Disgusting! The drywall was coming off in several places. It was a complete waste of money for the worst room in the hotel. It should’ve been half the price. I’d like a refund!! The guy at the front desk was also extremely unfriendly! I think one of the worst I’ve ever had to deal with!

We stayed for 3 nights, and when we first checked in there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom and no cups for water or coffee. The fridge didn't work, and when we mentioned it to front desk we were given instructions on how to fix it ourselves imcluding moving the unit....surely a staff member should be doing that? No room cleaning available as we were told we were one of only two guests that weekend so they didn't schedule staff. Eventually got some housekeeping on 3rd day of stay after bringing issue to front desk. Overall a very very poor experience for the $550 we paid for 3 nights. This is a badly run facility and I dont recommend anyone else to stay here.

I was on a business trip, I stayed 12 nights and my room wasn’t cleaned once! No fresh towels no change of bedding throughout the stay, very disappointed! I won’t return and wouldn’t recommend to anyone

The staff was amazing !!!!

We arrived around 7pm. After waiting 10min for someone to arrive at the reception area we went to our room then we had to go to the reception to ask for soap and some glasses not available in the room. We found 2 hairs in our beds. I was too tired to complain. I won’t come back. Also Dalhousie is very dirty and not a good place to stay. Even the Tim Horton in there was terrible.

The property was clean but getting outdated ,was there four days at which time maid service was not done once .The restaurant had very pleasant staff with good food at seasonable prices.

There was a problem with the expedia application. I made a reservation for 2 rooms (4 adults). Tough the application confirmed the réservation, once in site, only 1 of the 2 rooms was confirmed. The staff went above and behond to accomodate us and they deserve a 5 star review. However, I am not so satisfied with the Expedia application. After investigation from the Days Inn staff, it seems that the Expedia application was faulty. So, max 2 stars for them.

It is the highest ranked hotel in the area.

Easy to find, great location near ocean… Comfy beds. Great experience overall.
