Our main reason for going to Provence was to take on a bike challenge, climbing Mont Ventoux. Staying at the hotel was exceptional for its location, comfort, swimming pool which allowed for pleasant and relaxing moments after biking, and excellent food.

The property is very beautiful. And very well maintained.
Nothing
It’s a beautiful property. We had a lovely sauna and jacuzzi in our room. The property bad beautiful art and grounds. The service was excellent.
We didn’t have proper hot water in our bathroom. The first night we forgot to complain in the morning. When we came back the next night and complained there was no one to fix the issue so we again had to have a luke warm shower. They fixed it the next morning.
Tutto impeccabile
We stayed for five days at this hotel, which is located in a very convenient central location, with short and comfortable driving distances to most of the villages, attractions, and the city of Aix-en-Provence. The hotel itself is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards and forests, creating a truly relaxing Provençal atmosphere. The staff was exceptional — highly professional, welcoming, patient, and always service-oriented with a genuine smile. The hotel facilities are maintained at a very high standard, with excellent cleanliness and overall quality throughout the property. Breakfast was very good and enjoyable, although not particularly extraordinary. Overall, this is definitely a place we would gladly return to on our next visit to Provence.
During our stay, some of the hotel’s restaurants were closed, which limited the dining options. The dinner we had at the hotel was decent, but only average compared to the otherwise very high standard of the hotel experience.
C’était tout parfait
Rien
A little overbuilt. More like a condo complex than a 5 star hotel
Very disappointed with the food options. We came For a nice dinner only to be shoved into the bar for extremely bad food. It really ruined the experience for us.
The estate and hotel is BEAUTIFUL. Best pools of my life. Stunning Spa is included. Front desk / concierge was incredible. The breakfast wasn’t good enough for a 5 star hotel - Was something I’d expect in a 3 star - In particular the hot food. Continental style food was fine. The shower drain was partially clogged and the bathroom fan made strange noises.
Absolutely outstanding! The property is magical and the service impeccable, the food was also simply delicious i highly recommend this accommodation
Our experience was great. Amenities and staff were incredible.
Didn't use spa. Pool and staff at the pool were perfect.
Beautiful serene rural location with a high level of service and a cycling center.
Very clean.
Beautiful property. A true 5 star expereince. Worth every penny.
The hotel was superb in every way
Beautiful setting, huge pools.
We weren’t informed beforehand that the main restaurant was closed, and the staff in the Vignes restaurant were clearly overworked. It took us about 1.5 hours to get our mains, which, with a hungry 4 year old, wasn’t ideal. No apologies or even a smile. We were meant to be dining there every evening but quickly decided to eat elsewhere. Not the service you’d expect from a Relais & Chateux. The front of house staff were lovely though!
Piscina fria
Tout est parfait
Le service repas a la piscine
very quiet, beautiful hotel, very good hospitality service
Excellent
This is an AMAZING property. Pictures can not do it justice. It's a great spot to call home base and see the French countryside (wineries). Food was amazing and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The amenities (Pool / Spa) are fabulous Looking forward to coming back
Le cadre et le domaine exceptionnel
We absolutely loved our stay at Coquillade. The property is surrounded by its own vineyard, creating a peaceful and picturesque setting that feels like a true escape. We woke up each morning to lavender just outside our window and stunning views of the property. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout our stay. The location was ideal: quiet and serene, yet just a short drive to several charming villages full of character and local flavor. Coquillade is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed. It offered the perfect blend of relaxation, nature, and luxury. We’re looking forward to returning.
This was an amazing property with a very good amount of amenities.
This property is absolutely amazing. Excellent service, gorgeous rooms, views, awesome amenities. I had a different experience with the restaurant Le Vignes on site that wasn’t pleasant BUT the hotel itself is amazing.
We had a lovely stay! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and property is really beautiful and very relaxing.
The setting was beautiful and extremely relaxing.
Service was a great, rooms were clean. Propert is well maintained. Breakfast could have been bit better, but good options.
How do you do offer all the luxuries of a resort but balance it with authenticity and charm? Coquillade Provence figured it out. We were here for a two night stint on our way to AIX and we couldn't be more pleased and wanted to stay longer. The property is located 10-15 min away from a slew of small towns that are perfect for day-trips to discover the region. Back on property, the staff is always around to say hello or be of service, it really felt personable and high-touch. A magnificent spa, with unlimited access to sauna/steam. Two half-Olympic sized outdoor pools, plenty of walking trails and bike paths to see the extent of the grounds and vineyards. It felt like a small little village with hidden amenities all throughout. I loved the large collection of art/architecture library. This would be a perfect stay for a family with kids or without, plenty of activities to entertain everyone but doesn't loose its charm.
Stunning property but the staff and customer service were seriously lacking for an establishment of this caliber. Perhaps it was due to the season just starting but the staff seamed unorganized and lacked the finesse and professionalism we expected. Additionally, the sole restaurant serving dinner was fully booked and we were told we could dine in the bar, which only serves unrefined snack food, which was not desirable nor acceptable.
Loved our stay in Coquillade in April 2025. It was one of the nicest resort we have been to. Everyone working at the resort is extremely lovely. We were interested in renting bike for our next day adventure and the hotel staff was so helpful. The bike shop guy whose rental place is just down the resort road was very helpful and very easy to work with. The resort has that unique luxury vibe and the breakfast is a wonderful spread. The food we ate at the resort restaurant is one of the nicest things we ate in Provence, France. Thank you Coquillade for giving us this wonderful experience.
art, interior design, upgrade of room
nothing
Was traveling around France and book this hotel for two nights. Wish I stayed couple more nights. The staff was great. Food & wine was delicious. Spa was excellent. Very relaxing, can't wait to return.
Lovely property with excellent staff. Everyone went out of their way to make us have an amazing experience. Only criticism was that there was a large wedding that overtook and closed the restaurant and bar over several days, which meant we often had to eat in our room. Valet parking and breakfast included in the rate was a nice perk.
Provence in October is spectacular and a stay at this property is the cherry on top! It was off season so staff attention was present at every turn. Unfortunately we were there only two nights. My wife and I are planning on staying there during lavender season next year. It has everything you need, Michelin rated restaurant, professional bike equipment, spa, two pools . I could go on an on. Can't wait to return.
UN VRAI 5 ETOILES qui méritent ses 5 étoiles
Superb!
Grounds were amazing.
Rooms could use a bit of an update
This was an exquisite respite in Provence. If you’re looking for quiet, understated luxury, this is the place. Convenient to many sites but in a quiet country setting.

Coquillade breakfast is simply amazing. Every time we go, it is one of the best moment of the day... Location wise for those who want to discover Provence, Coquillade is located a few strolls away from some of the most beautiful villages of Provence, France and of the world!
What an amazing hotel, from beginning till end. The location and views are stunning. The highly professional staff makes the high level experience complete. Housekeeping passed 2x /day to make sure everything is perfect. Staff is superhelpful. Breakfast is fantastic. The pool is beautiful, but not as charming as the rest of the hotel. Restaurant Les Vignes is a bit pricy for the quality offered (there are better options in the area). Tip: put a few more car charging spots on your parking (the 3 charging stations were occupied all the time).
Parabens!!! Voltaremos com certeza
Excellent hotel
Spectacular, spacious and friendly
Had a very enjoyable two night stay in a Deluxe Suite. Wished we had booked longer. The resort is beautiful and set in a stunning location. The room was spacious, and in particular the shower and toiletries were amazing. The suite had a small terrace with sun loungers but it’s not really somewhere you will spend too much time. The service was generally excellent, from check in to check out, but in particular service and food in the Avalon restaurant was fabulous. The only slight issue was we felt the bed was just too firm, but that will not stop us coming back.
Have stayed several times before, stunning property in a beautiful location. Staff amazing, food, great value for the location.
Our suite 104 was far too dark for me, needs more lighting as and when needed. Wc door hinges squeaked, disturbing partner during the night. Big problem with mosquitoes, expected with all the greenery but suggest a regular spray of 'product' outside could much reduce the problem. Food was excellent apart from the local lamb, it was ok in part but doubt it was a young lamb and mostly fat and gristle.
Wow - you must visit Coquillade Provence! Staff was outstanding with special mention to Tom in Valet and Tilai in the restaurant who took care of us twice! Beautiful property with the most amazing landscaping in a calm and serene enviroment. We only stayed one night and did not get to enjoy all the property offers - so suggest to stay more than one night if considering booking. Bed was comfortable, bathtub had jets which was a nice touch, parking and food was very good. Room amenities were a very welcomed surprise and thoughtfully presented - thank you! Thank you also to the kind and sweet housekeeping ladies! Breakfast was ample and delicious and the dessert with lavender ice cream is one we will never forget! The only improvement areas I can highlight would be to add children's slippers for child guests, a nozzle on the hair dryer that doesn't fly off when in on position, fix the noise issue overnight in suite that made it sound like water rushing through the pipes until 4:30am, and when steak is ordered medium/med rare, would have appreciated it not to be sent out well done. Also, our suite did not look like the photos on Expedia, so just recommend updating them to manage guest expectations :) The staff really made it the most memorable stay for us and for that, our only regret is staying one night! Highly recommend!
