Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Freundlicher Empfang, unsere Fahrräder konnten sicher untergebracht werden, schönes, großzügiges Zimmer, sehr gut ausgestattet (Klimaanlage, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Nespressomaschine, großes Bett), modernes Bad (swhr gute Beleuchtung, bei Bedarf mit kleiner Wäscheleine), ruhig, zentrale Lage in der Altstadt, alles fußläufig erreichbar, historisches Gebäude (wir hatten kein Frühstück, daher kann ich dazu nichts sagen)

L'hôtesse qui accueille les hôtes dans la salle du petit déjeuner parle fort haut. Elle est efficace mais pas discrète. J'ai commandé des penne bolognese pour souper. Cela m'a été servi dans la chambre sans fromage râpé, ce qui n'est pas normal. Je l'ai signalé à la réception le lendemain matin avant mon départ.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Es war sehr nett und zentral. Vor allem die Damen an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Wir wurden im Vorfeld der Buchung mit Mails bombardiert (automatisiert), welche wohl noch aus der Corona-Zeit stammen. Anweisungen über Hygiene etc. Das war sehr irritierend, weil wir zuerst gedacht hatten, es sei das Hanta-Virus ausgebrochen...Der Hygiene-Wahn hat sich dann auch noch beim Frühstück gezeigt. Wir sind mit Hund gereist und im Unwissen, dass man offensichtlich nicht in den Frühstücksraum mit Hund kann, haben wir uns dort hingesetzt. Die Reaktion darauf, war fast panikhaft. Wir wurden dann in einen Nebenraum gebeten, in einen unbenutzten grossen Saal. Das war nicht sehr sehr schön. Ich gehe davon aus, dass die Regeln damit zu tun haben, dass es eine amerikanische Kette ist, die wohl grossen Wert auf (übertriebene?) Hygiene-Vorschriften legt. Uns hätte schon gedient, wenn irgendwo vermerkt gewesen wäre, dass wir unser Haustier nicht in den Speiseraum mitnehmen dürfen. Im Gegenteil dazu wurde das Hotel als speziell hundefreundlich beworben. Sonst war alles okay. Trotz gehen wir in kein Best-Western-Hotel mehr.

We arrived after 3pm but our room wasn’t ready, which was disappointing. We had to change our plans slightly as a consequence. Also the toilet facilities were closed in the lobby.

We arrived when the restaurants nearby had already closed, but the hotel had a few dishes available which they heated up for us and brought to our room. We really appreciated this after a long day of travelling. Our room was comfortable, with a large bed and a clean bathroom. It looked out onto the street where the beautiful Palais Jacques Cœur is located, which was quite special. The hotel is very well located for exploring the town. Dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room, but the staff kindly set up a small table for us in the bar so that we could have breakfast with our dog. It was a thoughtful gesture and another example of how welcoming and accommodating they were.

Klimaanlage ist völlig unzureichend, es war sehr heiß und sie ist überfordert. Das Zimmer wurde selbst bei "16 Grad Einstellen " nicht kühl. Wir waren vorher und danach in 3 Sterne Hotels, die bei gleicher Hitze wirklich kühl waren. Unklar, wo die 4 Sterne herkommen.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Nous avons été enchantés de retrouver un hôtel dans l 'esprit des maisons de famille , dans le fil de son histoire ( une photo à la bibliothèque au début du xxè siècle le représente déjà ), où le service à l 'ancienne est assuré en privilégiant la qualité , y compris relationnelle : une chambre et salle de bain spacieuses et lumineuses, literie très confortable , des nappes au petit déjeuner , des produits locaux notamment Monin , musique classique plutôt que CNEWS en boucle , le ménage fait chaque jour , la situation géographique idéale en plein centre , cerise sur le gâteau et le charme de la petite fontaine qui sait se taire la nuit . Merci à Neige qui par son sens du contact , son attention de service, a fait de notre petit déjeuner une belle rencontre pleine d 'humanité . L 'entendre parler de son éthique du métier nous a touchés . Nous reviendrons lors d'un prochain voyage d'étapes. Mathilde et Pierre

Difficulté d’accès surtout à partir des infos données par l’hôtel…Nous avons beaucoup tourné dans le centre-ville pour y arriver même en étant guidé par l’accueil…Une dernière tentative fructueuse avec GPS à partir d’une adresse de bar à côté !

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal, au centre-ville et à deux pas de la cathédrale. L'option "place de parc" est à recommander, sinon un parking public se trouve à proximité (quelques min à pied). La chambre était confortable et le petit déjeuner offre tout ce qu'il faut pour bien démarrer sa journée.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026What a beautiful hotel! Very clean. Excellent staff - very friendly - particularly Etienne. Room was quiet and very clean. Hotel parking very useful. Superb location. Within walking distance to everything. Water fountain - with sparkling water too!
