I had a single room, but it was very noisy. Nothing to do with the property, but there was an inconsiderate guest on her phone (on speaker phone!) until about 2am - she was sitting in the lounge area, which is right next to my room. Very loud! Would not be quiet, even when I asked her to keep it down. But, I guess that’s what staying in hostels is all about 🥴

Il mio materasso non era comodissimo, si sentivano un po' troppo le molle

Es una albergue orientado para al peregrino/caminante hacía Santiago, el ciertas horas tiene su tránsito,.sobre todo en horas tempranas, nuestra habitación estaba justo en el paso a la salida del recinto, pero no hubo ningún tipo de jaleo o molestia. Enfocado al Camino de Santiago.

The breakfast - we needed to leave before 9, and the breakfast was supposed to be available from 6:30 or 7 which was not a case. We left with only having some biscuits with jam. Not worth the price we paid for such a breakfast (or lack of it i would rather say). Bread was available after 9 only. Somehow, it was a bad experiance but only Becasue of breakfast that we counted on.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Centrally located on the main street right on the Camino Portuguese route. Also close to the city tourism highlights. We took a walking tour of the cathedrals, synagogue, & matchbook museum. Then we toured the convent on the hill. Great zero day!
We were glad that breakfast came with our bunks, but it could have been more substantial. It's a nice breakfast. Nothing special.

Estava no dormitório feminino e no último dia de estadia cheguei e toda a cama que deixei feita foi desmanchada e retiram toda a roupa de cama e colocaram outra para eu fazer a cama novamente. No dia seguinte disseram que deve ter sido confusão. Não foi agradável.

The showers were busy and dirty by the time I got to use them. There was a queue for the toilets in the morning. I think they need more toilets.

Não gostei do facto da cama extra que era para o meu filho ter um “bocado” no colchão, o que não foi nada confortável e teve que ser um adulto a ir lá dormir para a criança ter uma boa noite de sono depois de um dia exaustivo.

Reviewed May 30, 2026Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e atenciosos. A localização é perfeita e o hostel em si, é uma gracinha, a cozinha é muito bem equipada, caso você queira preparar suas refeições no local.
Não é exatamente não gostei, por estar localizada no centro histórico, achar vagas é algo bem mais complicado, mas se não for usar carro, tudo o mais é bom.

On the morning of my check out ,the kitchen sink was completely dirty and messed up from the previous night for unknown reasons. It was totally disgusting to even look at, due to which I was unable to have my breakfast that I had paid for.

Would be good to have a sign that milk and juice were in the frig. Maybe I missed it. I paid 7 euros to have my clothes washed and dried. Staff person told me he would bring them to the room when done. Later in the evening, he dropped them by me while I was doing some computer stuff and ran out the door to the tune of "got ot go home now." Later when I frished with the computer I began to take the clothers out of the bag and they were still wet. Thankfully there were empty bed as I had to hang my clothes out hopefully to dry by the morning. I expect to get what I paid for, but did not.

There was a mess in the kitchen probably left by other guests, but there was no one from staff to clean it.
