Manoir Sweetsburg

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at this beautiful, characterful place. It really exceeded expectations. Beautifully appointed rooms with a delicious bed. The view from our window was divine.

Nothing to not like!

Accueil très personnalisé! Chaleureux!

This was our second stay in the bed and breakfast. The new owners were wonderful. We were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We were well rested and nourished for our 5 hour trip back home.

Rien.

The manoir was absolutely beautiful, immaculately maintained, and the common area provided dishes, a toaster, and supplies for coffee and tea, so even though breakfast wasn't included during the days of our stay, we were able to bring our own bagels and fruit and have a nice meal in the lovely dining room.

When we arrived, the parking area and pathways were completely iced over and difficult to walk on, which was a little hazardous! Some gravel or salt would have helped.

Beautiful room. Romantic

Fine but not particularly charming or welcoming. Breakfast was meager and didn’t feel fresh. Clean well maintained rooms, good shower.

Picturesque hotel in a charming village. Wonderful breakfast in the weekends.

We found the property tired, not dirty, but needed refreshing. Breakfast was an issue, the coffee maker was broken. The young man in charge attempted to fix it but people had to leave and pick up coffee elsewhere. There was no one around to say goodbye to.

AC not working very well

Nice decor with lovely touches. Being a big Toile de Jouy fan, my suite was amazing! Loved the vanity in the bathroom! Breakfast was good.

Beautiful place, very clean and the staff is super friendly.

Rien.

The hostess was gracious. The room was as expected and scrupulously clean. Very comfortable bed. Good shower. Nice breakfast. I would stay here again!

breakfast was amazing and so were the new owners

double bed was a little small for the 2 of us but other than that amazing stay will definatly return

No coffee machine in room No place to store anything

À beautiful 150 years old with very great fourniture. We can go all around the house and rest. Very calm . Good continental breaakfast generous and sweet young woman at our service.

beautiful building with lovely landscaping? Friendly service

Beautiful manoir built in the 1800’s. I loved the property. Gorgeous home and our room was very clean and spacious. It was also very quiet and the bed was super comfortable. Location was perfect too. It was a little getaway with my husband. Definitely will return.

The only reason why I didn’t give it a ten was the breakfast. It was very basic and could definitely be better. It would be fantastic if they offered latte or espresso. Coffee was terrible in my opinion but I am a coffee connoisseur. See my pictures.

Charming, quiet property, friendly, attentive, informative staff, tasty breakfasts. Easy to go out for a walk and peaceful grounds were a bonus. Convenient to lots of things to do. I'll be back.

Helene is superb

Lovely bed and breakfast. Very quiet. Large clean well furnished room. The only negative is that it is described as a bed and breakfast but breakfast was only available on weekends - which we knew ahead of time but it was an inconvenience to search for a breakfast place on week days Breakfast served on weekend was excellent

Beautiful, tranquil property and amazing welcome from the reception. The breakfast options could be expanded a bit but were good all the same. I'll definitely be back.

Amazing place and host very friendly!

Such a great, clean comfortable room. Staff was welcoming and helpful. If you are in the area it's the best place to stay.

Very cozy and accommodating

We booked this hotel and it mentioned 'breakfast included'. THe day of our checkin the hotel called and told us that there will be nobody available to checkin as well as no breakfast is served on weekdays. That was a terrible experience. We paid a lot more money to get a hotel with no breakfast and no amenities.

Cleanliness and convenience

All good - maybe breakfast offered on a Monday but I understand why not.

Amazing experience, very elegant, quiet and cozy

Beautiful historic property with all modern amenities and friendly, helpful staff. Clean and very inviting. Very much enjoyed a room equipped with a natural gas fireplace. Look forward to returning in warmer seasons, and will recommend to friends and family.

Very friendly staff! Beautiful and cozy.

Matelas très confortable. Décor champêtre

I thought it was beautiful. They had a lovely breakfast with no shortage of food. The people are genuinely kind.

Charmante propriété victorienne! Service impécable.

Tres belle place nous avons adoré

The place was nearly empty and I was given the worst possible room of the property it turned out. Close to thermopup noise. I was on first floor and the people above me kept coming and going and dropping stuff on the floor until 1 AM. I slept very poorly between that noise and the thermopump. There’s obviously an sound problem not enough soundproofing. But other than that I feel I probably was given the worst possible room on the property. I was there 2 years ago and they do have better quality of rooms. Now I am not sure if I even want to return here.

Cozy rooms for a reasonable price. Very conveniently located in between Bromont and Sutton. Easy check-in process and staff were friendly (and bilingual). The rooms were very clean and small fridge available in the hallway for wine/food.

Walls are a bit thin so you can hear your neighbors a bit, but it was minimal and didn’t bother us. Note - this is not a Bed & Breakfast where they cook you eggs / pancakes, but they offer self-serve stations with fresh bread / spreads / fruit / pastries.

Gorgeous building, clean, spacious rooms and nicely decorated.

Very nice place

The room was beautiful. The service by Nicole was exceptional and the breakfast was great.

Nothing to complain about.

The house is beautiful. Our room was very spacious. Everything was impeccable.

Nice place

the decor is fabulous and hosts were very kind and available

This place has everything: it is beautiful, has the charm of the old; it is clean and very comfortable. You are made to feel special by the owners. It is a real Victorian manor. Our family felt like princes and princesses. The breakfast was amazing. Many thanks to the friendly owners for the splendid renovations and tasteful decoration.

Comfortable bed. Good breakfast

Ni hair-dryer. Room was hot

The Manoir was beautiful, all tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean. Our suite was very spacious, comfortable and airy with large, deep windows. The included breakfast was more than abundant, delicious and so artfully presented. Any staff we encountered were quite gracious. Our stay was perfect, would definitely recommend and/or return.

Great breakfast setup ! Coffee, juice, yogurt, fruits, and 2 options for the main course.

Lighting in the bathroom could be improved.

Propreté et particularité des lieux

Location of our room overlooking trees.
