Canalta Hotel Lac La Biche

Very clean and friendly staff

The pillows were not comfortable. When I called to request different pillows no one answered my call. It was 10:00 ish.

Clean, spacious room with a comfortable bed! Quiet building, great breakfast with lots of options. The fitness centre had tons of equiptment and the sauna and hot tub were a nice addition. Very.. Adult friendly :)

Kids using the hot tub as a swimming pool...

Le calme l’atmosphère convivial, la proprete bref tout

J'ai aime mon sejour

Large, clean rooms. Great breakfast.

A bit too far from restaurants (not walking distance).

Great breakfast Close to our work site

Breakfast was fresh with a variety daily of different meals...Our breakfast selection was tacos

Nothing...Best hotel we've stayed at yet

Extremely clean, spacious room & comfortable.

Hot tub jets didn’t seem to be working properly nor was the steam room.

Great experience

Enjoyed our stay, would book again

Rooms are super clean which was really nice. Easy check in, plenty of treats to take advantage of for weary travellers when you arrive. Breakfast was a full breakfast. Sausages, hard boiled and scrambled eggs, waffles, assorted pastries, yogurt. Not much in way of sugar free options if you are a diabetic though except just loading up on eggs and sausage.

No bath tub in my room. I drove many hours to this location, and was dying for a hot bath. The hot tub was extremely busy and not very welcoming when you just want to unwind, so I skipped that thinking I could look forward to a nice bath. I called the front desk before I was settled and they said they have no rooms with a bath tub. I imagine they were trying to tell me that there were no rooms left available, I would have happily paid more though. It's super disappointing though as I did ask for this. :(

Very comfortable quiet rooms, great views

Check-in reception requires additional training in making guests feel welcome

The breakfast was excellent. The food was fresh and far more than I expected.

All things were good.

Everything including the location

Everything was all good I have no comment

Clean spacious rooms. Sufficient towels for amount of guests.

No pool.

Great location, clean well equipped rooms, comfortable beds.

The only complaint is the tv was not great. The sound quality was bad and very little channel selection but we were only there one night so we didn't watch it too much..

Convenient stay for Lac La Biche

No major complaints

Clean, nice location, great staff.

Met standard expectations. Good tasting coffee.

We checked in late and the doors were locked and had to wait for it to be opened. In case of emergency say a fire in the building and the side doors we unavailable and the front doors being locked that would definitely be a challenge.

Great location, nice and clean. Great breakfast.

Heard loud banging in our room very early in the morning. I think they were doing some sort of renovation or cleaning by the lobby.

The beds were very cozy and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were very pleasant and professional. We liked that there were many features and it accommodated our needs. We also saw a family of deer from our bedroom window, which made the visit quite memorable.

Our only concern was that one of our rooms was cold. My mother and I stayed in Room 402 and the radiator would regularly blow out cold air. I did speak with the front desk staff who were able to increase the temperature from their computer. This worked temporarily but the next day it was cold again. As a suggestion, you may want to send a technician to investigate.

Ample parking, Staff are awesome, except the night receptionist

No water pool for the kiddos. Room TV is bit small. No TV in the dining area.

The room was great as it was convenient to load our bags, etc. We enjoyed our breakfast as well. Thank you

The breakfast had a good selection of food to pick from and was fresh and hot

Breakfast was awesome great friendly helpful staff

The hotel itself would have given me a cheaper rate then booking through you because I was there for a funeral but I was unable at that time to cancel with you.

The best breakfast

The price little pricey

Breakfast was good. Just nice to see a free “anything” anymore.

There was no access to anything but local t.v. Would have paid to view Netflix or Prime if available.

Goid

Add omelette in breakfast

The breakfast was very nice, lots of options

All foods were fresh. Your team were very friendly.

We found scrumbled egg and pork sausage were in same serving dish. Guests who have food restriction they will not like it. I saw one guest used same spoon for sausage and scrumbled egg because both were served in same dish.

Friendly staff, cleanliness in the hotel, good breakfast

N/A

Very comfortable & clean through out

They let me checked in early

So far so good

The staff was pleasant. The Hotel was clean. Check in was quick. Breakfast was good.

Impossible to set temperature in room, constantly going from freezing to boiling hot with one click degree back or forth, very uncomfortable made it hard to sleep. Then they decided to shovel snow at 1:30 am out side my window for 30 mins with loud rumbling plastic shovel waking me up again.

Very clean and very friendly

Not much to not like

It was very clean and well looked after. Breakfast was awesome.

Only negative was the check in. The lady was not very happy and it showed.

Breakfast was so delicious, thank you

There was no drinking water in the room.

The microwave didn’t work. The iron leaked water over my clothes and the desk chair was broken. When my brother-in-law sat on it he fell backwards.

Very nice experience! The hotel is close to everything and the atmosphere was relaxed.

Clean, big rooms!

Staff wasn’t very kind , not friendly or welcoming

It’s my favourite hotel to stay in when I visit Lac La Biche. Sherilyn and staff are always accommodating and the hotel is clean and beds are comfortable. What more can you ask!!

Great service, breakfast was hot. Room was specious and comfortable bed.

Lots of parking. Semi Truck friendly

Room is clean everywhere, staff are nice and professionla

Breakfast the hot part was slow. Waited around for our breakfast to be cooked and gave up. It’s like they were ready the the amount if people

The room was very clean and quiet for the 2 nights we were there. Front desk staff were very polite and experienced. Our parking spot was always close to the entrance. We had the king size bed suite and it was huge and very comfortable! Will definitely stay here again and again! Thank you!

Very nice hotel

Enjoyed our stay. Breakfast good, lots of selection. Staff were lovely, I locked myself out twice and they were very patient with me😊

Clean spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Great staff & a decent hot breakfast.

New, clean hotel with great breakfast and kind staff.

Room was nice and spacious.

Good

Husband enjoyed the breakfast. It was a nice comfortable, clean room in a quiet location. Encounters with the staff were always pleasant.

The room was dark- hard to get ready for a wedding. A big part of the room where the table and chairs are didn’t have any electrical outlets. Toilet seat is quite low.

Nice and clean. TV quality could use some improvement.

Clean, quiet, good breakfast

Loved how clean and organized it was and the very friendly staff!

We had a king bed but it wasn’t comfortable at all. Can feel the springs poking ur back.

The tv are cable I like streaming

Perfect

Very spacious and nice.

Me and my bf got the suite with the jacuzzi. Service was great all the staff was very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was good only things I would slightly would have wished for was after breakfast was done coffee creamer was still available not just powdered coffee enhancer, and stronger coffee. Hot tub downstairs was also very relaxing.

Out of the way. Nice and quiet.

Nothing bad!

The best pet-friendly room I have ever lived in any hotel. The room is spacious and clean.

Loved the breakfast that was included. Customer service was excellent.
