Holiday Inn Express Hefei Huaihe Road by IHG

The rooms were dirty and there were roaches. I checked out after one night and the hotel refuses to refund me for my remaining five nights. I would never booked my family to stay at this hotel again.

The quality and cleanliness of the ro0m was good for it's price.

We stay only one night, late arrival and check out in the morning, but it was very pleasant, nice clean room, nice big size shower, nice breakfast and very friendly staff. Excellent, make us very happy. Thank you Expedia.

hotel needs upgrade

Hôtel plutôt bien situé, proche de la partie ancienne de la ville. Dommage que la chambre ne possède pas de réfrigérateur. Moquette tâchée

住宿環境優雅乾淨又寬敞，早餐豐富多元水果很多，重要的是有免費自助洗衣，太棒的地方下午一定找智選假日酒店。

一如既往的好~

酒店附近有學校&婦幼醫院所以超市、吃的都非常方便，酒店樓下是書局旁邊有麥當勞，長江中路上也很好攔車，環境交通都很方便，房間舒適乾淨，床很好睡，下次出差還會再來。

깨끗하고 좋은 호텔입니다만, 교통이 불편함. 택시를 불러주지 않음.

從新橋國際機場搭1號線大巴、在長江飯店下車，即可到飯店。為一連鎖飯店，在這價位下，有一定的品質。近淮南路步行街。附近餐飲、用餐選擇很多。離地鐵站約步行10分鐘。下會到合肥出差，還是會選擇入住。

飯店周遭是蠻方便，但是這時入住僅提供兩台電梯，另一台正趕工進行中，大廳沒有冷氣，是有點熱，房間算舒適，大小也適中，早餐平平，CP值是可以的。

The hotel is in good condition and is a great value. It is in the heart of downtown Hefei. The building and rooms felt new, and the rooms were quite spacious. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly but English communication was limited. The breakfast was mostly Chinese. In March 2018 there was a lot of construction in the area - it didn't affect us once we were actually in the hotel, but the street was a little difficult to walk down. The main complaint was that the room was too warm and the air conditioning wasn't turned on yet..

地點很好，但房間打掃不仔細，有頭髮，有污漬，毛巾是破的，浴墊發霉，無菸樓層的房間煙味都很重，還不能換房。早餐的煎蛋要顧客自己煎自己拿。

快適な滞在でした。中国のホテルで、はじめてコストパフォーマンスが良いと感じました。

There are several Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Hefei, this one is the best, good location, and well maintained. I just want to complain one thing, the day I stayed there, the temperature was 15 degree and it's rainy, I felt very cold, I set the air conditioner, it didn't help, I called the hotel staff, and told no heating function at the time.

If you like branded, international chains that deliver very high, standard service, then you'll love this Holiday Inn property. I'm not entirely familiar with the brand, but compared to IBIS and others in the same class, this property is streets ahead. The location is very good, considering that Hefei really is a business and learning centre with very, very little to offer tourists and travellers. If you're here for work, the location is great. If you are here as a tourist, the location is even better, although it is quite a trek from the main high speed railway station at Hefei South. The bus 131 connects the station and hotel for just RMB2, but there's a short walk to the hotel door. The property is a 25 storey tower block, with a vast, expansive reception. The staff are courteous and efficient, but the Chinese 'guests' will do their best to push you out of the way and demand the attention of the staff and (rather annoyingly) they usually get what they want and the staff will stop what they're doing with you and help the more aggressive and rude guests. There are just three elevators and they are very slow. You can wait an age and often the elevator whizzed past the floor without stopping. You need your key to get to your floor. The rooms are vast and very well appointed. There's a fun, modern, striped carpet and a big comfortable bed with spotlessly clean linens. There's a working area, with excellent wifi and tea, coffee, daily bottled water and a kettle. There's also a flat screen TV. There's a comfy chair, but generally, the rooms are too big for what's in them. There's a lot of empty space. In the closet you'll find a safe. There's a glass wall separating the bathroom from the room and the bathroom is large with a big walk in shower. Excellent hot water pressure. The usual amenities are provided and the towels are clean and fresh. The flaw is in the breakfast, which is included in the rate. This is the hotel's biggest let down, although it may just be a matter of timing. I was here during the "golden week" of October when everyone in China travels. The restaurant is quite big but it could not cope with the hordes of people eating. The tables were piled high with detritus and the small handful of staff simply couldn't cope with cleaning the mess. There was nowhere for anyone to sit. They ran out of cups, glasses, cutlery and almost all the drinks were empty. There was one tiny, slow (painfully slow) coffee maker for the entire property. Since there were no cups, it didn't really matter. What food there was was being devoured like a plague of locusts had hit town and there was food everywhere. On the floor, on the serving areas, on the tables. Again, no staff were anywhere to be found and when they did appear with replenishments, it was gone in seconds. After 30 minutes of trying to get something - anything - to eat, I more or less gave up and grabbed a few of the remaining items and took them back to my room. The hotel would have known how busy they were going to be, so not to have staffed adequately and to have allowed such a free for all is pretty poor. They should at least have had a host or hostess seating people and making it more orderly. Then perhaps the kitchen could have coped and the filth everywhere could have been cleared away. I'd have to guess by what I witnessed that Chinese families starve themselves for weeks before booking into a hotel. It was ludicrous. The second morning I didn't even bother going to the restaurant and went out to buy my own food. Not good when you're already paying the hotel for breakfast. The rooms are reasonably quiet, although a crying baby did make a lot of noise. The windows let in a lot of street traffic noise despite the height, but I discovered the window was not sealed shut, so that may be why. A very good hotel let down by the terrible food service. Something perhaps they can fix.

Decent hotel for a great in central Hefei. Very good value for money!

２泊３日の旅行で利用しました。同ホテルは市内中心部にあり何処にいくにも便利です。間もなく合肥市にも地下鉄２号線が長江中路の直下にできるため、移動はさらに便利になると思います。空港からのアクセスですが、市内行きのリムジンバス１号線に乗り、長江飯店で降りれば、徒歩３分程度です。また、帰りの際も長江中路を挟んで向かいにある旅行社の店舗で空港行きリムジンバスの乗車券の購入並びに同バスへの乗車ができますので非常に便利です。部屋についても、冷蔵庫がない点を除いて不自由な点はなく、掃除も行き届いていて、清潔で快適です。朝食は料金相応ですが、豪華さを求めない限りは十分に楽しめます。同ホテルの近くには新華書店や喫茶店があり、時間を潰すにはもってこいです。ただ一つ気をつけて頂きたい点は、合肥市には多くの「ホリディイン」があることです。それぞれのホテルの名前は微妙にことなりますが、ホテルがある場所は市内でもまちまちですので、利用される際はどのホテルを利用するのかを十分に確かめておいた方がいいと思います。私は誤って別のホリディインに最初に向かってしまい、夜にタクシーで移動しなければならない事態となってしまいましたので、皆さん十分にお気をつけください。

Most friendly and helpful receptionist ever, so lovely and great first impression of hotel. Excellent hotel and kept extremely clean. Breakfast area is spacious and one of the best in a Hefei we have experienced. The service at the breakfast in the morning was amazing. Fortunately, everything about the hotel was exceptional, and I do not give praise lightly. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I could go on but suffice it to say we were very pleased with our stay, and although short and sweet this time, we hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

excellent value for money B&B £29.40/ night good room and facilities very kind staff who tried to be helpful at all times. Food not to British taste but plenty of other places to eat in city.City was loud busy and smoggy but we went for a reason.

ホームページから支払いしたホテルと、ホームページに記載されている住所のホテルが違ってました。同じHoliday Inn系列だったので、ホテルの受付の方がホテルの方を変更してくれましたが、ヒヤヒヤでした。冷蔵庫がないのは想定外でした。

他のホリディインのホテルと同様に部屋の掃除は丁寧にされており、施設全体が清潔である。 １階にフロントがあり、宿泊者が無料で自由に使えるパソコン（マッキントッシュ、日本語サイトの閲覧可能）が２台ある。 エレベータはカードキーがないと作動しないため、セキュリティ面の問題なし。 部屋には貴重品用の金庫あり。ネット環境も問題なし。 食堂は１階フロアにあり、朝食はバイキング形式、味は普通です（他のホリディインのホテルと同じメニュー）。 空港からの移動は、機場バス１号線（合肥汽車駅行き）の利用が便利です（長江飯店で下車し、徒歩５分）。

部屋は綺麗です。朝食も良い！でも、部屋に金庫はあっても冷蔵庫なし、湯沸かしポットとティーパックはあっても水がなし。水道水は飲料水不可！部屋の中にはホテルの案内も無いので中国語出来なきゃ何ともならなかったです。でも、また泊まります(笑)

On a three night visit to Hefei chose here because of the position (right in the centre of the old town) and the very cheap price for a western style hotel. This was a good decision. Room and breakfast were much as we have come to expect from the Holiday Inn Express, probably a little better than we sometimes find in China. Staff were amazingly helpful, Ally at reception particularly so as she spoke quite a bit of English and made every possible effort to help us find places, get taxis to take us there etc. Would definitely stay here again. Easy to get around, we walked most places in the city, close to both western and non-western food options. Recommend.
