Fleur de Lys Resort & Spa Long Hai

We booked into this hotel on 21st January. On first impression it was a lovely, quiet hotel with a fabulous pool and gardens. We thought we had found paradise. And there it ends. After a couple of days it was announced by a letter through our door that there would be a wedding ceremony on that night. No other prior warning had been given. It was a very loud and intrusive affair held in the main communal gardens, directly in front of the only restaurant. It turned out to be not too bad however. and the noise abated at 10pm. We were disappointed that we hadn’t been advised when we booked though. Today, also in the main communal gardens alongside the only swimming pool and near the beach sun bathing area, staff arrived to set up for a very large and loud party starting at 14.30. As I write, all we can hear is shouting into a microphone, screaming and thumping banging music, as loud as the ears can safely tolerate. We came back to our room to get away from the hideous music and noise, to find a notice in our room that had been left while we were at the pool. Again, no prior warning yesterday or when we first booked. The noise from this event is horrible and we have been advised that it will go on late into the night. We are stuck on our balcony as we can’t go back to the pool or beach such is the noise. We do not want to eat in the restaurant because of the noise and Long Hai has very few options to eat. Had we been advised of these events we would have booked elsewhere. So, if you are looking for a quiet retreat, as depicted on their website maybe think again. There is only one pool bar and one restaurant. The website and other booking sites list two. Not so. We are here for another few days and wonder what else is in store? We would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There appears to be a lack of care for holiday makers and a severe lack of communication.

It’s a quiet, spacious, and peaceful resort next to the ocean. We were mainly impressed with the service and the quality of food at the restaurant. The grounds are quite lush, there are pickleball courts, and the beach access is convenient. Overall, though, the resort felt a bit out of its prime and neglected. The pool closing at 7pm is an example. But the much larger issue for us was the smell of mold in the cabana which irritated my partner’s allergies overnight and was even visible on the curtains in the shower. There is also a clear ant problem; ants would swarm the outdoor toilet and sink. These aren’t showstopping issues for us - it is a resort in a tropical climate, after all - and we would consider staying again, but likely not in the cabanas if we did.

This resort is a beautiful sanctuary. The stunning gardens create such a deep sense of peace that you can feel it sink into your body. The pool is beautiful, and the beach is perfect for a relaxing swim. The food was excellent, and the hot bamboo massage was an absolute highlight — leaving me feeling completely relaxed and almost floating afterward. A wonderful place to unwind, and we’re already looking forward to returning.

I stayed at the Fleur de Lys Hotel for the weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean and cozy, the bed is soft, and the linens are white and clean. The grounds are large and well-maintained, with lots of flowers and greenery. There's a large pool and a restaurant with excellent service and delicious food. The grounds also offer access to a clean beach with a gorgeous sea view. Special thanks to the staff, especially Anh Thu, who was very attentive and friendly, and made sure my vacation was wonderful! After checkout, they gave me some special souvenirs, which was very nice and thoughtful! Thank you, I'll definitely be back and recommend you to my friends!

Fleur de Lys Resort Long Hai delivered a perfect beachfront escape from the moment we arrived. Check-in was warm and welcoming, and our terraced room felt instantly like home—AC and fan already humming, with beautiful natural light during the day. The room was just a short walk to the beach, where I enjoyed peaceful strolls along the calm, warm shoreline. Dining was a highlight: Phương in the kitchen prepared delicious food and refreshing drinks throughout our stay, and the managers (Vân and also Phượng) regularly checked in to make sure everything was perfect. The resort is packed with activities—biking, shooting hoops, archery—and of course plenty of time to relax by the pool or beach, so we were never bored. I treated myself to the signature hot bamboo massage with Kiều before leaving, and it worked out every knot—truly one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I left feeling relaxed, recharged, and grateful for the thoughtful service, stunning setting, and easygoing vibe. Beautiful beach front resort with over the top customer service from the staff! Even though we had a short stay, it was a very warming and welcoming stay. Lots of activities within resort, peaceful and quiet, only a few steps from the beach and everything from room to dining was clean and tidy!

we have stayed here for 10 days, as part of a month long visit to vietnam. we have felt taken care of from the first moment we landed in vietnam. we are pensioners and knew we would be tired after arrival, so we had asked them to pick us up at the airport. the day before they sent us a picture of the driver and car. they followed up a little after departure, if everything was in order. it gave a deep feeling of professionalism. we stayed in a small house with its own garden. about 100 meters from the south china sea, with a wonderful and safe beach. there was always a lifeguard on duty. the hotel area was lush like a botanical garden. All the staff was always there to help and serve, and this in a very pleasant way. with must mention our "contact person" kim, who was very follow-up on our wishes. we are already looking forward to returning.

Wonderful atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks, and Trang was very attentive to us. This is a great place to relax and unwind.

Refreshing and delicious fresh juice. Comfortable space with a beautiful sea view. Trang, our server, took great care of us. Definitely worth coming back!

Overall everything was great. The rooms and villa were lovely, comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We rented a bbq for a small fee to cook some food we brought as there were limited kitchen facilities. The staff provided everything to light it and delivered to our room. There was a problem with our room keys which had to be fixed twice but the staff handled it quickly and we're very efficient. The pool filter and lights were not functioning the first day, we had to ask for someone to come and turn them on. Again this was done quickly. We also had to ask for beach towels as there were none provided in the rooms, despite the private pool and beach access. Also for a 4 bed villa there was a lack of outdoor seating. Only 2 loungers, no cushions and no shaded area to sit. The villa next door to us had a covered outdoor dining table and 6 chairs. That would have been nice, or at least an umbrella. Small fixes could make this room exceptional.

My family stayed in a wonderful, clean 2-bedroom villa with the view of its own swimming pool & lotus pond garden downhill, which we really enjoyed (however, there are a few small details that need to be improved to make it more convenient for guests). The hot bamboo therapy at spa is a must try. The restaurant's food is delicious or so so, depending on each dish and each person's taste. Personally, I think they’re just fine, but to our 3 sisters, the drinks mixed at the pool bar are really great. The staff’s service attitude is good & enthusiastic towards customers, there are only some mistakes in taking food orders, 1 time forgetting a dish, 1 time getting the dish wrong, or 1 time even missing our in-room order, but overall, the experience at the resort this time was terrific!

Check-in process was smooth, and the staff made us feel right at home. The resort is stunning beautifully, crystal-clear pools and views of the beach. Our room was spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated, all the modern amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. I’m very impressed with Ms. Anh Thu. She handled our check-in quickly and efficiently, but what impressed us most was the personal touch - taking the time to share helpful tips about the resort, recommend local attractions, and even remembering our names throughout our stay. One evening, we had an issue with our booking taxi, and Ms. Anh Thu went above and beyond to resolve it, her professionalism, attention to detail, and caring attitude turned what could have been a stressful situation into a pleasant one.

A great getaway from Saigon, just 2 hours by car. Very green, with beautiful kid friendly pools. The restaurant is very accommodating as well and speaks English. Truc, Loi, Vuong, and Trang helped to make things easy.

The food is good and all waiters are very nice and helpful. Their services are beyond what we expected, especially Truc, Rot, and Loi they are young but very professional.

Today I have a job transfer and stay at Fleur De Lys resort, I was really impressed with the reception team of 3 beautiful girls, Ms. Thuy, Ms. Ngan, Ms. Ngoc Anh. These girls work very professionally, thoughtfully, enthusiastically and wholeheartedly to help me. After 1 minute I completed the check-in procedure. We are having a marvelous time at this resort. In particular, our servers Trung Truc and Anh Trang went above and beyond with our meals at the main restaurant.

Smiles doesn't make subpar food taste better. Beautiful atmosphere, but outdated facilities, food - breakfast, lunch, & dinner offerings sub par at best. I honestly dont understand why it's difficult to provide basic good food with the price point.

The hotel is dated and needs repair. It is not as nice as it looks online. The pool and spa were closed & it wasn’t disclosed before booking. So were the additional “bars.” The beach is being held on to by buried plastic tarps. You can only swim or hang out on the beach at low tide. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Service was inconsistent and food was okay but service and availability of it was also inconsistent.The hotel was likely nice back when it was built, but it is now tired and having an identity crisis. It says it’s a resort, but it’s not quite living up to its title. They will charge you for everything - an extra coffee at breakfast, a lost key card. If you can get a cheap room, it might be worth it, and don’t come with high expectations and you’ll be okay.

We stayed here for 10 nights over Christmas & have to say we were pleasantly surprised when we checked into our rooms. They're were all very spacious & clean & the beds were nice & comfy. In the rooms you are given sachets of coffee, but they're the 3 in 1 that include milk & sugar which I don't like. The bathrooms are also a good size & the shower is over a sunken bath, so if you have mobility issues, this might be a problem. The resort itself is beautiful, lots of greenery & on the beach, it really does feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast here was really good, always lots of options including fruit, pastries, Vietnamese & international dishes, omlettes made fresh etc. The restaurant at night is another story. We went for dinner here once, our party ordered starters & mains, 2 of them got their starters, I then got a waitress come & tell me that I couldn't have the main I'd ordered as it had been burnt! This was after waiting for over an hour & I didn't even get my starter. I would definitely recommend this hotel, just don't bother with the restaurant for an evening meal.

Das Frühstück bietet super viel Auswahl und der Service ist sehr gut. Dies gilt auch für den Service an der Rezeption und des Housekeepings. Der Service an der Poolbar war nicht gut. Oft war niemand da und dann wurden uns noch 50.000 Dong für einen gebrochenen Aschenbecher berechnet. Die offenen Badezimmer sind schön bei schönem Wetter, bei Regen leider sehr unpraktisch, da man immer nass wird und viel Schmutz in Bad und Zimmer ist. Die Anlage ist etwas abgelegen, deswegen sollte man einen Roller mieten, wenn man mal außerhalb essen oder einkaufen möchte.

An all white themed Beach resort nestled between the South China Sea and the Shore cliffs offered a picturesque setting to a pretty secluded coastal getaway... the cottages are interspersed on smallish ridges with uninterrupted view of the blue waters... one can unwind at the beachside with excellent food served at Le Vent... extremely good experience all around

L hotel a pris un petit coup de vieux mais la chambre était impeccable avec son petit jardin et salle de bain a l extérieure.belle Plage accessible a 2 mn, malheureusement souvent impactée par des déchets non ramassés. Piscine propre et impeccable. Restauration tres bien a vec du choix. Nous recommandons.

Thanks Thuy Kieu at the spa. you are a great staff ,gave us a great experience at the resort. we stayed at Fleur de lys Long Hai in 2 bedroom villa for 5 days and had several massages during our stay.Before the massage I had frozen shoulder and my mom had some muscle stiffness on her neck. After the bamboo massage our shoulder and neck fully recovered. it was the best massage .

This is a great resort if we could stay more and have more time, we only stayed for 1 night. Beach is good and dining is good.

Ett trevlig och lugn resort i små enplanshus. Rent och fint med vänlig personal. Stor pool. Stranden är fin men ofta stora vågor.

Do not pay full price. We did and on arrival we found that EVERY one else paid half that we did. The resort is NOT suitable for any one with mobility problems. It's sited on hills. The food was not good. The rooms are faded and in urgent need of full refurbishment. The pool is missing large areas of tiles and had exposed electrical wires in the pool taped off. The 'private' beach is filthy with loads of plastics everywhere.

Lovely resort at Long Hai. We stayed in a Sanctuary Pool Villa which was very comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed beach walks and rejuvenating spa treatments. The food choices are wide ranging, well prepared and delicious. The pool bar has a friendly, efficient bartender who mixes great cocktails. All the staff are very friendly and extremely polite and very helpful Fleur de Lys would be an excellent choice for a relaxed beach vacation Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed staying at the resort. Quiet, pristine and lots of green space, suitable for short walks. Service staff were friendly and helpful. And the breakfast is what I remembered most: a fair selection of fresh and well-prepared dishes (seafood noodle soup was the best), certainly beyond your normal hotel's continental breakfast. Will definitely visit again.

Fleur de Lys is located on the outskirts of a small fishing town about 1.5-2 hours drive from Ho Chi Minh. It was very quiet when we first arrived, this seemed to pick up a little over the weekend. Most of the guests seemed to be Vietnamese. The resort itself comprises a series of villas and rooms located in picturesque and well tended tropical gardens on the slope of a hill leading down to the beach, so most rooms have sea views. We stayed in a two bedroom villa which was two bedrooms separated by a bathroom. It was smallish and the bathroom had a curtain rather than a door which might not suit everyone, but worked well for us and was great value. The rooms had all the mod cons you would expect from a high-end resort. There are other larger (and smaller) options available. The pool and restaurant are located next to the beach. There is also a large spa offering wraps, scrubs facials and a variety of massages with prices that are very reasonable by western standards (35-40 AUD for an hour facial/massage when we were there). My daughters and I enjoyed several of the treatments on offer and they were all great.The buffet breakfast was very comprehensive, with Local, Asian, European and UK offerings. There were fresh tropical juices every morning and a huge array of hot and cold dishes included in the overnight price. More than enough to keep you going all day! We ate most nights at the restaurant which was located right on the beach with a nice sea breeze in the evenings. There was a good selection of local and western foods on the menu. The pool was large and well tended with a pool bar for cold drinks and snacks. The beach was cleaned every day by the resort staff and supervised by a lifeguard. We swam on a few mornings but spent more time at the pool. There was also a playground and pool toys for the little kids. Overall we had a fabulous stay, the staff were lovely and the location, food and amenities great. If you are after a quiet, well priced and relaxing holiday with family or friends this is the place for you. For those looking for a bit of nightlife, Vung Tao on the other side of the peninsula is a bit livelier.

Amazing Resort. One of the best in sea beach resorts in the world. Great room. Large and with sofa and sitting zone. On the beach and the beach is clean. Great service by every employee. Very hard working team. A very special mention is Mr. Linh at the reception. He goes out of the way to help you and make things happen. Employees like him are assets for the resort. Restaurants are not many but great service makes up for everything One ISSUE was housekeeping. The laundry took clothes and returned back after 5 hours without laundry, but packed. But the manager apologised and did not charge the bill. Rest all was AWESOME.

I came here with my dad. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very cheerful and enthusiastic staff. the food is delicious. I often go for a walk on the beach in the morning. Enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee. I will be back this summer.

Great resort, there is not much to do in the area, but it's nice to stay if you need some rest. If the restaurant will improve, than it will get a perfect from us.

Được đổi lại tên là Fler De Lys, resort được cải tạo lại hoàn toàn và mang đậm phong cách Địa Trung Hải, xinh đẹp, mới toanh, hòa mình vào thiên nhiên với rừng cây ven đồi, vẫn còn khá nhiều loài ốc lá xinh đẹp sống trên cây với vỏ ốc màu trắng có vân nâu hay các màu sắc khác, loài này hiện rất khó kiếm tại Long Hải, nhưng lại sinh sống tự do và nhiều trong resort. Hồ bơi đẹp phù hợp cho trẻ em và trẻ nhỏ.

The place needs more flowers and fruit trees. And a few cats to make it cozy. Feels sterile. Most importantly you must pick up plastic on beach. Hire some local school kids. Beach was filthy

휴식을 취하기에 최고의 장소 였습니다. 스파,마사지,룸컨디션 좋았고 그중에서도 수영장 청결 상태는 최고 였습니다. 하지만 레스토랑 음식은 평범 해서 아쉬웠고 외지라 주변 놀거리 먹거리가 없어 레스토랑에서 디너 타임만 운영하는 bbq 또는 가족.연인이 함께 즐길수 있는 이벤트가 있다면 좋을것 같습니다.

Clean, peaceful & beautiful resort. Took a perfect rest during the x-mas holiday. There is only one small convenience in front of the main gate for water & beer. It takes 30min to the town, Vung Tau, by car. the front desk arranged a car for us and the fare was reasonable. Easy to get a cab(grab) for back to the resort

넓고 깨끗하고 조용합니다. 음식도 맛있고 수영장도 잘 관리되어 있고요. 리조트안에서 쉬고 놀기에 부족함이 없습니다. 단, 프라이빗 비치는 파도가 쎄서 수영이나 물놀이는 어렵구요(12월 기준) 리조트 주변 가장 가까운 식당은 6분거리라 밤에 걸어가긴 좀 어렵고, 리조트 바로 앞에 작은 슈퍼가 하나 있어서 맥주는 살 수 있습니다. (사실 미니바에 있는거 먹어도 2천원 정도라 부담없구요) 좀 쉬다가 하루정도는 붕따우에 택시타고 다녀오면 괜찮습니다.

Absolutely amazing resort. Mellow and relaxing, gorgeous spot, nice people. Would definitely come back. I highly recommend it for anyone who is visiting Vietnam. Only a couple hours drive from Ho Chi Minh.

Very clean and tidy hotel with a delightful pool. Spa was also great. Restaurant menu has a good mix of Vietnamese and Western food and we enjoyed our dinner and lunch here. Breakfast was quite good but busy. Some guests were occupying children in the restaurant with very loud and intrusive iPad entertainment and it would have been much more pleasant if the hotel stopped them from doing so. Despite being the only people in the pool, on a few occasions a guest was flying a drone over us for quite some time. It was flying all over the resort and while these are quite a recent additional to the general public, I think hotels should ban them from use. Very annoying sound and an invasion of privacy! Add drones to you ur banned list Alma, along with the durian!

Great spa and restaurant. People are service minded. English is not yet in good level with most of personnel but you have a holiday so no big worries. Team is happy to arrange you private tours with taxi.

Nhìn chung là tốt, duy chỉ có lúc checkin thì resort chưa chuẩn bị tốt lắm. Máy lạnh trong phòng đã book bị hư và sàn nhà tắm đã cũ nhìn như bị dơ. Resort nên thay thế, bảo trì phù hợp. Thái độ & cách trả lời của 1 nhân viên dọn phòng nữ thời điểm đó không tốt, khá khó chịu với khách.

Excellent service and friendly staff willing to make your stay the best as possible. Spa services were also excellent with full variety of massages and very good sauna and steam room. The food was also really good with different type of food and dishes with fair prices. For sure we will back when we need a new relax on the weekend.

We had a very relaxing time at the Alma Oasis. Right from check in the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Initially we were allocated a room on the hill, with many stairs to walk down to the amenities. This was very hard on my knees, so we requested a room change. This was not a problem and we moved to a room near the pool, spa and restaurant. The rooms were pleasant and clean, with nice touches that you don't find at other places, such as liquid hand soap and body lotion. The complimentary daily spa treatments were wonderful. Again the staff were very friendly and professional and the facilities very clean and pleasant to use. We spend quite a bit of time at the pool and also enjoyed eating at the restaurant. The food was great and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend the Alma Oasis. The only downsides were the street tour was overpriced (but lots of fun and our guide Thuyen was wonderful) and the cocktail recipe varied considerable depending who was making them!

Short stay but excellent service and food

호치민에서 또 한참을 가야해서 멀긴 했지만, 매일 스파가 포함되어 부담없이 즐길 수 있고, 특히 아이들까지 짧게나마 케어를 해줘서 가족 모두 만족했습니다. 다만 호텔 가까운 주변에는 갈만한 곳이 없고 내부에 식당이 하나라서 오래 머무르기엔 아쉬운 점이 있습니다. 택시를 타고 20~30분 정도 붕따우 시내로 가서 구경하고 식사를 하고 오는 것도 괜찮습니다.

Vi havde et dejligt ophold på det hyggelige hotel. Vi havde valgt et værelse med udendørs badekar, hvilket var super hyggeligt. Alle ansatte var venlige, og vi nød især wellnessafdelingen, hvor der dagligt var massage inkluderet i opholdets pris. Vi kan især anbefale hotstone massagen! Stranden er beskidt og ikke specielt velegnet til at bade, men det havde vi læst hjemmefra, og hotellet prøver heller ikke at give et falsk indtryk heraf. Vi gik dog alligevel en dejlig tur, og der er mange lokale, der fisker lige udenfor hotellet. Desuden tog vi på en cykeltur i området, hvor vi tilfældigvis fandt to spændende templer. Vi benyttede os af hotellets transport til og fra hotellet. Prisen fra Ho Chi Minh var ca. 500 kr. hver vej.

This luxurious beach resort is a great Winter escape from NZ. The staff are so accommodating, the food is excellent and the pool is great for spending hours in. But the best thing is the free spa treatments that involve Tai Chi, sauna and then a wonderful, long massage.

The hotel is nice, quiet, clean and most of staffs are friendly. However, I was charged extra-person fee by hotels.com while booking family room (allowing 3adults and 2 kids, according to Oasis staff) for 2 adults and 2 kids. I tried to contact Hotels.com and Oasis for this matter. Hotels.com requested me to call them instead of email, which is impossible since I am currently out of country. Oasis told me that their staff will call me back but they didn't. Bad customer sevice!

Very private and relaxing resort!

We travelled as a large group of friends, including children. Our group was well looked after by the staff all weekend. The garden rooms are clean and comfortable and the large villa was perfect for group meals and using the private pool.

Overall staff were friendly and the breakfast staff were great in that they remembered my food allergies and prepared breakfasts' in accordance with my needs. Great memory. However I do have to agree with some other comments left in regard to arrival reception. We were left feeling most unwelcome and not at all impressed with how we were treated on arrival.

Alma Oasis har ett fantastiskt läge, avskilt vid en vacker strand men med gångavstånd till samhället Long Hai. Själva anläggningen är mycket vacker i ett kuperat parkområde med en välskött poolanläggning och ett soldäck vid stranden. Det mest unika med Alma Oasis är den höga kvalitén på behandlingarna i Spa-anläggningen som ingår i rumspriset. Frukostbuffén är utmärkt men lunch och middagsmat håller en ganska blek kvalitet. Ät istället god vietnamesisk mat i någon av de många små restaurangerna inne i Long Hai. Sammanfattningsvis är Alma Oasis ett perfekt ställe för en veckas total avkoppling i en mycket vacker miljö.

Great relaxing place for our two night stay! The pool is amazing and the facilities are great. Loved our room and our terrace! Every staff is so nice and helpful :) Super loved the inclusive spa treatment.

Overall stay was good. Big resort, good service, love the colors of the hotel as it's very refreshing, scrumptious food served in the restaurant. It's a good place to go if you do want a peaceful stay. I love the warm massage (Bamboo) and it's a good thing that they provide a Spa Credit on your stay. It's all worth it!

A very relaxing stay in a spacious, clean and modern room with great decor. The daily spa service was amazing and we had wonderful massages included with the room every day and there were no availability problems encountered when booking them. The free wifi signal was ok but signal was intermittent, but there were a lot of good, free movies available to watch on their in room entertainment - better movies than netflix actually. Housekeeping was very good. The pool is large and spacious and wasn't crowded when we were there. We didn't spend much time on the beach as we preferred the pool. Private car service transfer from HCMC airport was waiting for us on the way there and back, and was quick, efficient and they had bottles of water for us in the back. You aren't supposed to tip staff individually but you are encouraged to tip at the end if you have enjoyed the service - which we did - and then this is shared between them all. I hope the tips do indeed reach the staff as claimed

It is a new renovated hotel with 20+Years history but the new renovated look is so much difference and modernize. Spa service was included in the room charge so that it forced me to utilized the service and found it was so good.

It was a short break for the family, we had a relaxing time. Karitna was awesome with kids, my son loved playing with her. The hotel can improve by putting some shades at the swimming pool, it is a very warm.

The resort has taken on an almost greek style, which seems totally out of place. The old vietnamese style resort we remember from our previous stay was really missed by us. After a while, It did grow on us through, after needing a doctor twice and being please with the service. The pool is now smaller, unfortunately, but still ok. There were no bycicles at the resort this time, which were available on our last stay, so we were really disappointed as we had been looking forward to exploring the area again by bike every day, which we could not do. The breakfast needs improving and even through the vietnamese staff are friendly and very eager to please, they do lack understanding of english a bit. The set up of the tables in the restaurant seemed all over the place and the flow of the breakfast buffet was disorganised. There was no information in the bungalow/room in regards to resort services, restaurant menu, pool opening & closing times, spa facilities/prices, instructions for tv/channel/internet use, local area attractions, historical areas, etc. The pool area was more inviting to lounge around than the beach area as it lacked style and needed more lounges, as it seemed only half finished. The bungalow itself was very comfortable but it seemed very odd to have the vanity basin in the bedroom/kitchen area and not in the actual bathroom.
