Loved the location! You can tell this property was thriving at some point, and it is set up in such a great location. The atmosphere inside is really cool and rustic.

A major deep clean needs to occur in every single space. We switched rooms soon after arrival due to a strong mildew and smoking room smell. In the next room, the room was filthy before we even walked in. My husband got a vacuum from the front desk to at least make it feel less dirty for the kids to walk around on, but behind our bed was food on the floor, a straw, and at least a couple years worth of dust piled up. Every single sitting or sleeping area or corner/edge of the room was dirty. There were stains on every single wall in the entire room, in BOTH rooms. The couches in the lobby had food in the cushions, and the floors on every single floor appeared to not have been vacuumed for a while. To put it in perspective, we visited a Love’s gas station on the way home and as I sat down to use the restroom, I literally thought, “Wow, this gas station is visibly cleaner than the hotel room we just stayed in for 2 nights.” To add to it, the breakfast was clearly frozen and thawed last minute, as the donuts and muffins were frozen still at 7:30am. This hotel was super cool, so it was disappointing that there is a clear lack of funds going into up-keeping the place.

The hotel and staff overall were great.

My room was gross. There was a “clean” folded wash clothe that had either pubic or beard hair all over it 🤮 Upon lifting the top comforter, there were little dead “I’m hoping ants” and crumbs all over the sheets. I slept on top. Super disappointed for it seemingly being a nice hotel.

Easy to book, clean rooms, solid continental breakfast, free parking.

The noise levels from other guests were terrible and on-going until 1:30 AM. I did not sleep well at this location, unfortunately.

I asked for a wake up call. And the lady never called was late for breakfast late for my appointment kinda made me mad.

The location was great. Lots of restaurants in the area.

I would not recommend this hotel. The breakfast attendant was unfriendly and seemed bothered whenever we asked for assistance. Our room also had several maintenance issues: the showerhead was broken, causing water to spill onto the floor, and the loose toilet seat shifted when used. When my husband reported these concerns to the front desk, he was told that maintenance did not work on weekends. The hotel was also extremely noisy. An argument in the hallway woke us up, and the guests in the room above us were disruptive as well. If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable place to rest, this is not the hotel for you.

Quiet location with walking trails. Spacious common areas and good sized rooms.

Sadly, everything needed a thorough deep cleaning. The carpets were filthy and grimy, chairs were stained. Pillows were compressed and hard. Shower had underwhelming water pressure.

After checking in we went to our room and the floor was covered in water. It looked like the AC was leaking or something. The first woman we spoke to seemed inconvenienced by us wanting a different room because we had an event to get ready for. They were busy and I totally understand it was inconvenient for everyone. Staff tried to tell us it was just mopped and was not a problem without even seeing it. It was not mop water. We also had people knocking on the door and running away.

While people are gone maybe hotels should offer doggie daycare, they can even charge. Or maybe the owner should take their dogs to a daycare during the day when they leave to do things; as people do try to sleep. I do have dogs, I do care for dogs and I understand that the dog only barked when the owner was gone hence is why they need to take them when they go. I have 4 dogs 2 could very well "quietly " stay at a hotel. The other 2 would bark at every noise which is why I Do Not Take Them.

Comfy beds. Location is right on a small lake somewhat surrounded by trees, with a park on the opposite side. Had a lovely morning walk, despite the heat. Decent coffee (not bitter or acidic), multitude of food offerings (my celiac found a safe breakfast). Breakfast staff was cheerful.

The water on the pool was a little cloudy

We really enjoyed the location of this hotel. The boys had a good time walking the trails and checking out the waterfall behind the hotel. The location is amazing!

I booked the largest room they offered on Booking.com to accommodate two teen boys, myself and my dog. The price was really high considering the room felt very dated. We had to move rooms initially because the air conditioner was leaking water so bad there was a puddle of water going from the air conditioner to under the couch. I felt like if I’m paying $400 a night for a room it would be nice if it was a little more updated.

Loved that it was quiet and away from the “hustle bustle”. Had a beautiful view of the lake and waterfall. Room was large, very nice and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was a bonus!

Everything was top notch.

We could hear the adjoining room (teenage girls) like they were right there in the room with us.

We loved the outside lake and the trails. We walked the bass pro, it's just down the path. Super close. Beautiful water fall on the path as well. You can see it from the hotel. The place is a relaxing paradise in the middle of the city.

Very small pool for the number of rooms. Lots of little screaming kids. There is no place to sit. There is no place to relax. But the rest of the place is beautiful.

The bed wasn't as comfortable as I like, but honestly for most people it would be satisfactory.

I loved the room and the hot tub in the room.

I know it probably sounds petty but I’m used to hotels having something that explains things about the hotel, the rooms, where the ice machine was located, the tv channels etc. I looked on line for such information and couldn’t find anything either.

The hotel staff was exceptional, always greeting us with a smile & ready to answer our questions. Rooms were very reasonably priced, comfortable, & can't say enough about the lake view & walking paths. The beer at the bar was fresh & cold too. That's important after a long day of traveling!

Rooms were clean and spacious. All staff was friendly. A good breakfast to start the day with hot coffee. Breakfast area was large and clean with plenty of seating and great views. A bar is on grounds with nice decor, friendly staff and it was a great place to end the day.

I liked that they had a pool, my kids enjoyed that. I also like that they had a bar and grill (although i did not use it) also the location wasn't terrible.

I felt it could have been cleaner. I do not feel my needs were met. I had to clean my own room make my own bed and reuse towels .. I called down numerous times and I still did not receive the amenities I asked for ( I paid for)

Comfortable stay

We were supposed to get a king deluxe room however they gave us a double queen standard. The room was nice but for the amount it was disappointing not getting the room we were supposed to. Also there was a foul oder coming from the sink.

We love our spacious room and will definitely be staying again!
