Reviewed Sep 4, 2026The room was comfortable and clean. There was a fridge and freezer to keep some things to eat, as well as a coffee maker. There was a trail through the woods to walk the dog. The restaurant and stores close by. Excellent, friendly staff.
It would have been nice to have some sort of kitchen facilities. A little larger room.

Le signal du Wi-fi n'était pas assez puissant pour atteindre notre chambre. Il y avait une odeur de renfermé à notre arrivée qui s'est estompée avec le temps, provenant sans doute du tapis du plancher. Les lampes de chevet étaient fonctionnelles, mais il y avait du jeu dans les boutons et autres articulations. La chambre aurait besoin d'une cure de rajeunissement.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Water temperature was good and hot, beds were perfect. Staff were lovely. The pool was great! Restaurant was amazing, good waitresses and food. When needed new towels they brought them.
It was rather on the run down side. TV was small, lots of dirt under the beds and under the sink mantel. Bathroom tub and grating was incredibly discoloured and looked gross. Lighting was minimal, only 2 lamps available. Outlets were loose and couldn't plug in most of my chargers without bending them. Could hear the people in the rooms next to you and above you. When asked to tidy up the room, they didn't change the sheets and remade it as it was on the bed.

It is an old motel and showed its age. However it was clean, beds were ok and lots of hot water for the shower. Really no complaints.

The staff are helpful and friendly and the home style restaurant provided us a good dinner and decent, reasonably priced breakfast, all much appreciated after our ferry ride from Newfoundland. A well run place. We highly recommend !

Not enough bath towels for three guests - probably could have requested them, but didn't bother going to the lobby. (Used them for the pool too, so extra towels would have been great)

It is very tired and run down. There are cinder block walls in the bedroom! Not especially dirty, but not really clean. We ate at the attached restaurant, where the food was fine, and the staff pleasant, but there was a VERY long wait for our food.

Its very outdated and the bed covers smelled musty or sweaty. There was a crack in tub spout that all the water poured out of so there wasn't much pressure for a shower, and the handle was covered with duct tape

Property was serene, loads of room for us to exercise our dog. The facility is extremely pet welcoming. Such a quiet setting. Convenient to shopping and highway.
