Nos gustó todo en general, desde la ubicación, el trato recibido por parte de los propietarios, la habitación,el desayuno, sin duda repetiríamos.

Hubiese preferido un hotel con parking, pero hay uno público a 7 minutos. Para nosotros no fue problema, sin duda repetiriamos la estancia en este hotel.

The Hotel Rojan was a very classy place and was a family run operation. This is the best of both worlds for us. Everyone that we met at the hotel treated us great.

We do not have any specific items that we were not happy with. Parking was very limited but the hotel was able to accommodate us with close proximity.

Great location and really helpful hosts.

The location of the hotel is perfection in Sulmona. Close to the market, on top of shopping, restaurants and all the confetti shops you could ever want. The breakfast is made in house daily with cappuccino, fresh juices, fruit, croissants, musli, meats and cheeses, sweet treats etc. The beds and bed linens are beyond exceptional. The bathrooms are beautiful and extremely clean as well as the entire hotel including hallways and even the elevator and stairwell. The family clearly take pride in their property and treat the guests as royalty. I am so excited to spend more time at the Hotel Rojan when I return to Sulmona to work on our new home. I would give 20 stars if I could!

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like. Everything was perfect and the hotel is run with love.

Die Inhaberin ist überaus freundlich, hilfsbereit und hat uns auch mit vielen wichtigen Informationen weitergeholfen. Es ist ein Familienbetrieb, die ganze Familie ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstückbuffet ausgezeichnet mit sehr guter Qualität. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Posizione invidiabile (ma questo lo si vede prima di arrivare), cortesia e professionalità dello staff evidentemente innamorato del proprio lavoro. Albergo super silenzioso, con colazione estremamente valida e prodotti locali. Ci tornerei molto volentieri. Menzione d'oro a Sulmona che non conoscevo ed è una città molto carina, piena di ristoranti a buon prezzo ed in posizione strategica per visitare l'abruzzo.

Onestamente non c'è nulla da migliorare: intendiamoci, la perfezione non esiste, ma non abbiamo trovato lacune di alcun tipo. Era tutto ok, dai prodotti per il bagno, ai cuscini, al condizionatore, alla colazione. Super!

The team at Rojan are exceptional. They're friendly and engaging but nevertheless run an exceptional hotel. The comfort cleanliness, location, service, food and they were very helpful with information about the town and surrounding area.

The hotel is beautiful and the family of owners are on site 24 hours. Angela is a sweetheart and makes you feel like part of the family…and Gianlucca (I am sorry if it is not spelled correctly) was so interesting to talk to. Our room was thoughtfully appointed and we loved the wonderful bathroom! Breakfast was delicious and Angela makes a delicious cappuccino…. We look forward to returning in the near future.

L'Hotel Rojan è uno di quei pochi alberghi dove, pur essendo in un 4 stelle a tutti gl'effetti, ti senti a casa. Gianluca e Angela sono due persone di una competenza, di una gentilezza e di una disponibilità infinita.

The person who checked Us in was incredible gave us great tips not only for restaurants and in town but even on our travels afterwards.

The hotel is terrific! But what makes it even better are the co-owners Gianluca and Angela. They go FAR-AND-ABOVE normal customer service standards and after only three stays, I think of them as family - because that’s how they treat you when you stay - like a member of the family. I’ll definitely be back!

Where to begin…Gianluca and his sister Angela are incredible hosts. He planned a full day of travel for me and my daughter to ensure we got a feel for his passion- Abruzzo! We stayed longer than we thought as the rooms were immaculate and almost regal. They recently soundproofed them and we couldn’t tell our location was mere blocks from the town centre. Parking was easy, breakfasts delicious and plentiful, and I can’t recommend this place enough. They built this hotel from the ground up and it shows in every detail. Well worth it!

Se proprio devo trovare il pelo nell’uovo, qualche dettaglio in più nei prodotti da toilette l’avrei gradito ma sinceramente se l’avessi chiesto sicuramente sarei stata accontentata La stanza non era grande in proporzione al bagno ma per una notte e’ stata più che sufficiente

L’attenzione dei proprietari (Anna e Gianluca) per i clienti e la loro cura nel fare le cose bene, come la colazione con prodotti freschi e dolci fatti in casa o il supporto fattivo e preciso nel pianificare al meglio le escursioni nei dintorni o i suggerimenti per la scelta dei ristoranti. Sopratutto, sia Anna che Gianluca, pur con le loro grandi differenze, hanno saputo trasmettere il loro amore per la cultura e la natura della loro terra e per la storia dell’Hotel Rojan così legato alla storia stessa della famiglia.

Hotel a gestione familiare, in pieno centro storico di Sulmona. Ho soggiornato il sabato 25 luglio casualmente in occasione della Giostra Cavalleresca. L'hotel si trova a meno di 1 minuto di cammino dall'inizio del corteo che poi andrà in piazza per i giochi. Camera e bagno grandi e letto molto confortevole. Un ringraziamento a tutto lo staff dell'hotel, gentilissimo e disponibile per consigli su luoghi da visitare.

Exceptionally comfortable and clean. The family owned hotel was absolutely excellent with the staff going way above and beyond—offering great recommendations, ensuring our car was parked properly, preparing incredible breakfasts, and just being nice, kind, and warm people.

It’s start with the perfect location in the center of the old city, it continues with very nice and clean rooms decorated to perfection. it is operated by the family owners that are extremely nice and going the extra mile to help and support in any matter. This is a family run business. Beautifully restored hotel. The owner Angela went out of her way to advise towns to visit in the area, how to get there and what to see. Without this information we would have missed so much! The Rojan is in an ideal situation to walk around Sulmona , a lovely historic town in ambruzzo.

This hotel is restored and beautiful. It was clean and comfortable and had a great bathroom. The best part was the family that runs the hotel. They were so nice and helped us with where we should go for site seeing and restaurants. The location was great in the center of the old town. Would highly recommend this location. 10 stars!

There were so many positives about this hotel and Sulmona in general. The hotel is a very nicely appointed building and the rooms are clean, elegant and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the location perfect for exploring the town and as a base for exploring Abruzzo. What stood out, though, was how wonderful the owners were. It is a family run business and they make a point of ensuring their guests are taken care of. They go the extra mile on everything and even hand drew maps for sightseeing. Incredible! We will definitely stay here again on our next visit. It was by far the best hotel experience we had in Italy so far

Struttura nel centro storico di Sulmona a gestione familiare. Rarissimo ormai trovare hotel con gestione di questo tipo che si vede proprio ci tiene alla propria struttura. Non è nuovissima ma viene tenuta sempre pulitissima. Parcheggio difficoltoso ma presente fuori dalla struttura.

Fabulous hotel it was beyond our expectations. This is a beautiful family owned and run hotel. They are very attentive to our needs. Centrally located in Sulmona off the main strip.

We spent 9 nights at the Hotel Rojan - the most central location possible in a beautiful small city, no more than 50 meters from the statue of Ovid, who was famous for being exiled to the Black Sea for having an affair with Caesar's grand-daughter. (By the way, she was not a minor, but certainly an unwise choice for an unsanctioned affair.) The Rojan is family owned, named by using the initials of brother and sister, Jianluca and Angela, and their mother. The hotel was perfect and we felt like part of the family when we left. Jianluca and Angela each came with us when we needed help at a local bank or telegraph office, and they were great with restaurant advice.

Excellent location, excellent staff, will definitely stay there when visiting!

What a fantastic place! Not only in the centre of time, with parking outside the hotel, but the family who own it are truly exceptional and go out of their way to advise or sort problems out. It is not everyday that you receive such a high level of customer service. Many thanks to all concerned.

This hotel was a real find. Located in the heart of Sulmona, parking was simplicity itself being free and outside the hotel. The owners were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for you. It is highly recommended.

Hotel Rojan is located in a quiet side street in the heart of charming Sulmona. The hotel is a classic tastefully renovated Italian style family run hotel. The hosts were warm and welcoming. The room was very elegant and the bedding was especially luxuriant. The breakfast was varied with fresh fruits, cheeses and meats and homemade pastries.

Staying one night on a motorbike trip. Hotel right in the centre of Sulmona with access to all sights and restaurants etc. The hotel is family run and Gianluca made every effort to help with the bike and even drew out an itinerary with a map of where I could ride to the next day. I stay in many hotels on trips but this hotel stands out for its location and ownership. Only doors couldn’t stay longer

Family run hotel in the centre of Sulmona Old Town . Idyllic setting. Very warm and friendly. Gianluca took time out to draw up an itinerary of things for me to ride to on my bike the next day to appreciate the area as I was only staying one night on a motorbike trip. If you are traveling to Abruzzo, this is the place to stay. A family-operated hotel, with attention to hospitality and quality. We loved Room 306, where swallows put us to sleep with their gentle cooing and the bells woke us with smiles. There is an elevator for easy access and written quotes from native son Ovid on the cup covers in all of the rooms. Gianluca is full of suggestions for day trips and Signora Roseanna makes the best morning cappuccino ever! Angela runs the morning breakfast and she is a model of energy and hospitality. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to kick a soccer ball around with her son, Giovanni. Can’t say enough about this very special place!

This is a family run hotel, and this shows in their customer service. They took so much trouble to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Very clean. Excellent variety for breakfast. LOVED having a kettle in the room. Good location in the centre of town and we found there is a local bus from the train station. Many good eating places within a short walk.

The hotel is family run and they are wonderfully inviting and helpful. They were proactive is providing advice on how to get to the hotel before arrival and whether the attic room we were allocated was suitable. The hotel is spotless, the breakfast was lovely and most offerings were homemade and produce locally sourced. Every element down to the tea provided in the room had been carefully considered.

The Rojan Family exemplifies the finest traits of the Italian culture in gentility, courtesy, professionalism and good humor! For an interesting treat ask Gianluca about his amazing gigantic jigsaw puzzles. Angela, in addition to her charm, can transport heavy luggage with the best of them. The mom, Rosanna makes supreme cappuccinos for breakfast (which was also supreme).

This hotel truly stands out for its warm, family-style management and genuine care for every guest. The owners are visibly present, ensuring everything runs smoothly and personally checking on guests’ comfort. The atmosphere is relaxed, respectful, and perfectly suited for families, couples, and solo travelers alike. We like a family-run hotel and we’re very pleased with Hotel Rajan. GianLuca and his mother are generous, professional and courteous hosts and provide a sumptuous breakfast. The bed was firm but comfortable and the two pillows of different softness to allow choice. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided along with the minibar and the shower was hot and easy to control. The hotel is also well located - quietly tucked away and within very easy reach of the main Piazza.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rojan which is run by a lovely local family. Angela and Gianluca were very helpful with information about restaurants and areas to visit around Sulmona. The breakfast buffet was great with both homemade savory and sweet options, and the rooms were nicely appointed. We felt like we were staying with family, with lots of personal attention.
