Provider-sourced guest reviews.
The cabin we stayed in was clean, comfortable and fun. The buffet breakfast was definitely worth staying for.
Airport shuttle/free breakfast.
Late check in
Well decorated
Room smelled like old smoke
The property was clear.
The property decor is outdated. I realize the hotel is trying recreate certain era. There is too much in rooms. Heavy drapes. Shower draping affect.
great location very clean friendly staff great gift shop
no concern
Location was on the river with amazing scenery. Breakfast was so much better than I thought it would be, selection was vast. Sausage flavor was great, yogurt had fresh blueberries mixed in, waffle station was excellent (my 3rd waffle was perfect, after a worker sprayed the iron) wasted 2 waffles before that. Staff went above and beyond with breakfast.
Front desk was very vague with answers, to the point I was so dumbfounded I could not ask a follow up question, I could only walk away. We had to check out at 11 am and wait for our basecamp shuttle to pick us up at 3pm. The front desk kept telling me to knock on the baggage handlers door. After literally beating on the door twice and returning to the front desk, they insisted that he was in the locked room and would get to me as soon as he finished moving bags around. After a few minutes of looking at my agrivated stare, another lady from the front desk went over and knocked on the door, then opened the door with her key, only to verify that no one was in the locked room........ lastly, the room had a musky smell to it.
Tinha restaurante e o lugar é lindo
Nosso quarto não pegava Wi-Fi e a tomada do secador do banheiro que era pregado na parede não funcionava
Clean comfortable room, shuttle service.
Expensive, no late check out, breakfast is not included with the room fee.
Next to a nice restaurant. My room was on 1st floor.
Just think it’s way overpriced for what ya get. The room is pretty small, kinda outdated and the bathroom floor wasn’t clean. Plus it didn’t dart well when they gave me the keys to a room that hadn’t been cleaned yet. They were cool about it though and quickly found a room for me. Gave me some free ice cream.
The accommodation was great and sufficient for an overnight stay as we were catching a plane to Chicago.
The receptionist who greeted us was very terse. Not what I would have expected from such an expensive hotel. We were tired after flying all day, and it was 10:30 p.m., so hearing the company policy again was not what I needed. The issue was that they needed a physical credit card for incidentals. I don't travel with a physical credit card because they are all on my watch. We have been travelling across the US and Canada for 16 days, and we were never once asked for a physical CC. That wasn't acceptable because they didn't have a machine at reception that would accept electronic payments. She did not give us another option; she just kept saying I need a credit card to secure for incidentals. Luckily, my wife had her debit card. The irony is that we had dinner at their restaurant and they happily accepted electronic payment. Will not return to this hotel.
The lobby and hallways are filled with interesting displays that provide a great introduction to Alaska’s local art, history, and wildlife. The ice cream served every evening is delicious as well.
The room on the first floor has an unpleasant odor. It smells old and musty, almost like mold.
Breakfast was good, plentiful and good selection. No real problem.
Well...one or two of the young ladies at the front were not very friendly. I had one who was changing the coffee that was not friendly, smiling or responsive. I appeared that she did not like her job. MOST of them however were very nice, smiling, friendly and appeared to like their jobs.
It’s a quirky, historic hotel. I think if we’d been travelling with children it would have been their favourite hotel of the trip. We had a log cabin and that was lovely. We would have made more of the facilities if we’d not been rushing off for an early flight at the end of a fabulous holiday in Alaska.
Nothing specific.
Good location, just a few minutes drive to the airport. The facility has a unique quaint vintage vibe. You can even ask them to call you at night if Aurora is visible.
Loved the decor & everything was so clean!
I am a handicap person and that had not been relayed to them and they immediately amended my paperwork and I had a wonderful stay at your location.
I am ex operations manager in an international hotel chain. This hotel is beautiful in an excellent location.
The hotel supervisor of staff (and their direct staff) needs to have a genuine overhaul. They have to introduce to ALL dealing with guests the idea to actually smile at guests and acknowledge the guests who are paying their wages. Smile smile smile ladies and gents. It’s management who is failing you all.
The breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices of hot and cold foods. The on-site restaurant also offered a great selection of dinner options, from salads to full meal options featuring Alaskan salmon and more traditional fare.
The industrial HVAC outside our window turned on/off every 5-10 minutes and was very noisy.
Very charming and Decorated for the region.
The hotel grounds are nice. River front, games, and fire pits are all nice.
The place feels ancient. The beds are unbelievably uncomfortable and old. The move, they sink, you can feel the springs. I had heard it was old, it felt it. It’s in desperate need of updating. Even the blankets look like they were from 1982. In addition, the restaurant was mediocre at best but charged pretty outrageous prices. The outdoor dining was nice, inside felt, smelt, and looked like an old bar - not historic, just old. Lastly, someone kept putting the lobby TV on CNN, clearly a staff. The last thing I want to see is a bunch of negative news each day I am on a trip.
Absolutely gorgeous grounds, beautiful and comfortable room. Friendly staff and cute ducks!
It was a very quaint and unique place to stay. Different room themes and lots to do, had 15 seat theatre that ran the history of Alaska, a few things they advertised were not yet opened. Very nice and friendly. The restaurant next door had alot to be desired, my hamburger was so well done it was crazy and my husband’s Caesar salad which was more like a tossed salad with cucumbers and tomatoes.
Enjoyed our stay at Pikes. We stayed in the Caribou Lodge, which has a very clean Caribou zoo 10 feet from the back door of our room.Crab leg dinner by the river was very delicious. I did hear some airplane noise during the night. I should've taken something over-the-counter to help me sleep but the Caribou and the river setting far offset a little plane noise during the night.
The only breakfast offered was a buffet and it was bad, but easily fixable. First impression is that the place feels dirty. When you get your food, the stations are a bit of a mess with spills everywhere. No one was monitoring the status of the food on a regular basis refilling when necessary. I've never been to a place where there isn't a spray for the waffle maker. I finally gave up on mine after not being able to get in out in anything other than bits and pieces. Also, where they are located is poor. If one person is making a waffle, there is no space to use the second one. Food quality was poor. The bits of waffle that I managed to remove tasted like flour and water. There was no flavor whatsoever. It seemed clear this place is corporate run and not privately owned by locals. The only good food was the english muffins and the biscuits. The coffee was good and there were creamers on the table. One older lady was hustling keeping coffee filled. Definitely not worth 18.95 pp. Yuk.
Great Location next to the Airport and a easy drive to downtown Fairbanks
The pillows on the bed are very uncomfortable. They’re like four little throw pillows. You would use on a couch. That’s the only complaint I have about the hotel. They need new pillows. Everything else was fantastic.
Clean and food
They sent me to the wrong room. Someone else was in the room
Location, interior, outdoor areas, riverfront with view, quiet. Kind and undersranding staff. Free breakfast
Our initially booked room with queen bed and sofa bed was not clean with crumbs and used sheet hidden inside foldable sofa-bed. But after complain, the friendly staff immediately provided us another and better room. The hotel itself is large and very crowdy. I did not expect such intense inside traffic in the Alaska's hotel.
The lobby was very cozy and relaxing ,loved all the decor .. It was kinda like Yellowstone meets Alaska w stuffed large animals ,the plush sofas and big overstuffed leather chairs , the surrounding gathering areas were amazing and had a few fireplaces that were all lit up so I really loved the vibe . Also it had a gift shop and a snack area w bottled waters, snacks etc…we went into the the small cabin theatre and watched the northern lites show and saw the room w a pool table and small library , the beds were very comfortable and the restaurant beside it that’s part of this facility had wonderful food with an extended deck overlooking the Chena River w modern outdoor fire pits and let’s not forget the reindeer beside the restaurant . The hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport and the downtown round trip fare was only $10 round trip . Fairbanks has a quaint downtown w cool shops , historic sites and yummy restaurants . I hope to come back and stay at Pikes Landing . Great way to spend a few days after our cruise and land package to see some of Alaska 😊😊
Wish it had an indoor pool 😊
There are newly build cabins and rooms on property with excellent view of the Cheena River and Love Alaska sign. Has an airport shuttle and a rental car business on property. A lot of new added features and upgrades. Will stay here again and again on repeat!
I loved the vibe of the hotel. It was nicely furnished and the staff were helpful. The breakfast buffet was great. Nice views of the river. It was cool looking at the reindeer while having dinner
It was not walking distance to anything else.
早餐美味,酒店环境不错
由于房间隔壁是机房,晚上噪音很大。
Very clean and quiet. Good food. Beautiful views
Close to airport, on the Chena River. Very nice and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast buffet. Beautiful gardens.
The ambiance
Nothing
Very friendly staff. Comfortable rooms and scenic area along the Chena River. The breakfast buffet offered good choices. The restaurant next door is very good with large outside seating area.

Great location and easy access from the airport and main highway. Breakfast was delicious. The blackout curtains were essential and helped us get a great night's sleep.
The room door took three times to access the room. 3rd swipe's a charm?
What a quirky place!! We were here for two nights (one on our own, the 2nd as the beginning of a Celebrity Cruises land/sea package). And I'm not entirely sure how to describe the place. I'll stick to basics, but encourage you to take a look at photos. It's super kitschy, but also has some really nice offerings. A separate building showing (on loop) a movie featuring the northern lights. A small enclosure that is home for some ducks. Of course, taxidermy is heavily featured here. A nice bar area. They give you ingredients for making smores and then have little firepits all over the property that they light for a few hours each evening. Somewhat dated, but spacious rooms where everything works well. Some nice views of the Chena River. Sounds pretty good, right? Well, you also get very, VERY spotty service. Somethings the front desk person was helpful. Sometimes they were brusque. And when we arrived early and asked for a place to check our bags while we went out and explored, I was first told "you can just wait in our bar for two hours until your room is ready." When I declined that, they did direct me to an area where someone could check our bags, but we then waited nearly 20 minutes to get help. And then it was from a desk clerk who seemed very unsure of the process. I'm glad our bags were there when we returned five hours later. Oh, and it's pretty expensive, but that seems very in keeping with Alaska. And at times, the bus passengers (leaving and checking in) can be quite overwhelming. We still had a nice stay and I don't regret coming here at all. But it is not, shall we say, completely conventional. (Oh, and they do have a shuttle that will pick you up from the airport...we only had to call twice and wait 30 minutes to have them make the 5 minute drive.)
Stayed here for two nights while on rail vacation. Clean comfortable rooms, good breakfast buffet. Places to walk around the lodge, enjoy the river front property
River location and on site dining/ bar.
Dated
We stayed here during the last two nights of our Royal Caribbean Cruise Tour and absolutely enjoyed it. The bar in the evening was just right and plenty of outdoor areas. The Breakfast buffet was extensive and well worth the additional cost to kick start the day. The room was air conditioned and well appointed with everything we needed. Sits right on the river, with the famous LOVE ALASKA just on the other side. The decor in the lobby, bar and throughout the hotel leaves no doubt you are in Alaska...Highly recommend.
Reindeers and location, and pikes landing
Staff were not as warm as friendly
Near Fairbanks airport and with 24 hour shuttle service. Large comfortable rooms. Includes breakfast.
Parking lot size.
Lodge was beautiful; good design
Toilet seat very low. Price was pretty steep.
breakfast was ok but was on luke warm could of been hotter
The location is nice and the hotel has a lot of cool features like the Aurora room, reindeer cafe and the ice cream hour.
Staff could be a bit more helpful and polite and a bit more friendly.
Real character hotel right next to the river. Veranda room overlooked the river and fresh air flowed into the room with the door open. Sports bar and restaurant a thirty second walk away.
Slightly dated but that just gives it character. City about a $20 taxi away.
Location, overall, it’s convenient and pleasant on the Chena River but its at an active boat launch so its quite noisy with boats late evening. The hotel appears it is easy on the eyes at the entrance but once you go inside it smells old. The place is generally dirty. The rooms, same. Corners of the rooms are generally dirty. There was some mold spots on the ceiling in the bathroom. The bathroom sink had grimy brown stuff under the lip of the rim. My window would not open as well, it had a worn out crank that was also loose from the mount and the frame was absolutely filthy. The headboard for the bed had some dried spots on it from some kind of beverage I hope. The towels in the bathroom however, were clean, but I believe they contract that out for service. There was a plug in fan in the room that was dirty, had dust all over it in the screen. The hutch with the mini fridge and microwave was all beat up and in need of repainting. Their wifi is slow. The bedding was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There is only smoke detectors in the rooms and they are NOT dual smoke/carbon monoxide. Oh my days please fix this. Supposedly they give cookies when checking in and unknown to me they stopped doing that during the pandemic and just never started it back up, even though its advertised all over the hotel hallways plastered on wall displays. When I asked about the cookies the staff made me feel like a fool for asking and one of them behind the counter even laughed. I saw where they served ice cream to guests in the evening in the lobby and went to get some finding out it was cash only. So no ice cream. They should be giving ice cream away to guests to make up for the cookies , and they should as well for the price they charge for this place. The restaurant here, was to be expected with everything else. I had a grilled chicken Caesar salad that was nothing but Costco spring greens mix with some kind of generic dressing, powder parmesan cheese and the chicken was as if it had been grilled a few days prior and left uncovered in the fridge to dry out as well. Their small fitness room could be better. There’s a rowing machine with a rusty squeaky chain so bad the guest in there with me using it just stopped trying and the elliptical machine squeaks and creaks as well it’s very annoying even with noise canceling headphones. They do offer sweat towels and clean water though. I almost felt like Gordon Ramsey in Hotel Hell, honestly. I wouldn’t stay here again. I will tell my company not to reserve rooms here as well due to the overall poor setting, bad food and lack of care with the staff. Pikes, charge less or at least try to do better. Spruce up the rooms. Get some proper hospitality training for the employees and correct this behavior. Fix the workout equipment or replace it. A little can go a long way. Boutique hotels are hit or miss. Pikes is a miss. Hope the owners see this!
Everyone is so friendly and helpful. This is the only place we stay when we come to Fairbanks!
A professional and friendly shuttle driver picked me up at the airport. Courteous and efficient front desk personnel made check-in a breeze. Delicious restaurant and bar next door, which is affiliated with Pikes Landing Sparkling clean and comfortable room.

I really enjoyed all the extra amenities that you could take part in during your stay. It really offers something to the value. I enjoyed having breakfast included. That is a huge value added for me. We really enjoyed the firepits and the smores' package you can purchase at the front desk. As we were traveling with many family members, we could all sit around the fire and tell stories while watching the river flow by.
Breakfast - I know it is hard to prepare for an unknown number during a range of time. However the eggs were more rubbery then enjoyable. The waffle station was a hit, however a spray oil would have been handy, the waffles kept sticking badly. Overall the breakfast was enjoyable and the oatmeal is always a good choice.
Nice property. Clean room and good breakfast. 24-hour airport pick-up and drop-off service is very convenient. Hotel staff are really friendly.
Great location
If you want to be able to sleep, ask for a room that is NOT connected to another room. I asked to be moved to an unconnected room after I arrived late at night and wanted to rest the next day but couldn’t because I had to listen to my neighbors’ hockey game on their TV. I asked to move and a very understaffed front desk worker changed my room but only after I had to check in with her every hour until later in the day.
The staff at the front desk should smile and be friendly especially towards native people. I was greeted with stone face and no smile. Customer service needs improvement. The rooms were fine but there were spiders in my bathroom sink and room. Food and lobby was excellent. Thank you.
Spiders in my room Also please refund my 100 deposit. Thank you
Lots of things to do around the resort Staff very helpful especially housekeeping Love the welcome from the hotel’s van driver I like that we could open the windows if the room was too warm
Breakfast items could rotate more for variety Maybe the bath lotion could be thicker for winter use to help with dryness
I arrived at Pike's Waterfront Lodge a few days before my group tour started. Due to a missed flight connection from Seattle to Fairbanks, instead of arriving at the lodge at 1:45 AM on April 1st, I arrived on April 1st at around 2:30PM. Phoned the lodge to tell them about my delay and asked if I could get a refund for the room I had paid for.....was told no. Finally arrived the afternoon of April 1st, got my luggage and called the lodge requesting the free shuttle service they provide. Was told where to wait and it would take 15 minutes. Waited 30 minutes. Called again. Was told the driver was busy, maybe another 30 minutes or more, or I could take a taxi at my own expense. I had already been awake over 30 hours, was hungry, tired and paying for a room I wasn't using. Told all this to the manager. Same response from her. So I waited and about 15 minutes later a dirty pick up truck arrived to drive me to the lodge. Exhausted and not happy. I liked the lodge, my room and the breakfast was basic and good. However, the front desk people were rude and not helpful. Asked simple area questions, got no answers, was told incorrect information and felt I was intruding on their social time. Only one employee was really nice and helpful. Just so you know, I stayed at this lodge because it was the meeting place for my group tour. Just wish the upfront people, including the van driver, were more helpful and welcoming.
Old hotel but great atmosphere and friendly staff. Lots of nooks and crannies to take advantage of. Love the $1.50 ice cream social and the all the out buildings with aurora info. The staff will call and wake you if the aurora is present. The room was very comfortable.
Breakfast was good but it could have used a little more variety. We had a car and bought some bananas and non diary yougurt to eat. Everyone around us wanted our bananas. Maybe they could add some bananas, bacon and apples to the spread. The only fruit was cling peaches. We were here for six nights so the breakfast became redundant.
The staff member on check in was outright rude. Located next to the airport but not close to any attractions. Room very dated with loud AC.
El lugar es muy bonito, queda súper cerca del aeropuerto, hay actividades para hacer dentro del hotel.
En la noche había mucha luz y dificultaba ver un poco las auroras.
It is a one stop destination. It has everything you need for your family to have fun.
The sauna was closed for renovation.
Breakfast was pretty decent.
They did not have the room I booked other than on the first floor where they allow pets so they gave us a cabin. I did not like the cabin as much as the regular rooms. I don't see why they charge more for them. It was not as clean as the rooms we usually get either.
Excellent location for us and the hotel is very nice inside. Restaurant next door. The staff is great and breakfast was plentiful.
Food could have been a little more flavorful.
I like the location and convenience. I like the coziness of the rooms and lounge area.
The bathrooms need an update.
Breakfast is okay. We were in Love Building and had a great view of the river (though it was frozen) and saw aurora. First night we got 2 calls and both times nothing outside then later, I got up to use the bathroom and looked outside and saw aurora right out our balcony. Never got a call though.
My kids loved the breakfast, make your own waffles! The location was ideal since we mainly were traveling between the airport and a sporting event. The ice cream at the hotel was awesome.
The mattress was very very firm.
We have stayed here before and it is a lovely place with great staff. The breakfast is always a highlight. It is clean, convenient to the airport.
Airport shuttle was great and the driver was awesome. Checkin was a breeze and a good nights sleep was had. Thanks agian
The Aurora cabins was cozy, the location. perfect for any tours pick up and/or different type of transportation.
Conveniently located near the airport this hotel had everything we could need plus a few fun additions. Room was well appointed and towels were refreshed daily. We had a view of the river and slept well, bed was comfortable (we use white noise and that helped). Extra perks were a breakfast with a wide array of selections from waffles, to oatmeal, to cereals and meats. Ice cream social each evening only a few dollars a scoop (the Moose Tracks ice cream was really good). And fire pits lit each night which made viewing the northern lights out over the river a little warmer. Lots to look at inside the hotel with unique art, stained glass, and taxidermy animals. If you go to lunch or dinner at the restaurant associated with the hotel the Halibut chowder and fish and chips are very good. Would stay here again.
GREAT accomodations, very nice staff, AMAZING restaurant (Pike's Landing - on the National Register of Historic Places). Visited in March so all the fun winter activities in the area are still doable (dog sledding, snow machines, curling, reindeer ranch, etc.).
Close to airport, shuttle service, character
Very dated.
The chalet was comfortable and the breakfast was good.
Was expensive for where we stayed.
We stayed in two different rooms at the beginning and end of our trip. While I really enjoyed the facilities, I don't think it is worth the extra money for the upgraded rooms. Our first night was in a Chena Deluxe King. There was a sign on the door that said Aurora Viewing Room. I thought that would be great, except the room overlooked a very bright building called the Aurora Discovery Sound Lounge. It was lit up all night so I don't think you would ever be able to see an aurora from there. Our second stay was in the newer reindeer king room. This is a completely separate area from the rest of the hotel. Apparently, the reindeer rooms are also the last rooms to be cleaned; so don't plan on getting into the room until after 4pm. It was a long walk with our luggage in very icy conditions. Both of us were slipping and sliding getting to the room. We were happy to be able to get the airport shuttle directly from the room the next morning and not have to haul our luggage through the icy parking lot again. The driver picked us up at the door. The reindeer king is a much newer and nicer room. However, the heater did not work properly. We called the front desk and they said they would send someone over, but they never did. Luckily, there was a portable heater in the bathroom that we were able to use all night. The reindeer rooms have great views of the reindeer and are very close to Pike's Landing which is a bonus. The restaurant was wonderful and the manager was extremely friendly. Pike's claims to be the "Friendliest Hotel In Fairbanks." This was certainly true for the restaurant employees and shuttle drivers. We had two different drivers and they were both super friendly. Everyone in the restaurant was wonderful. The front desk people were not pleasant at all. The hotel amenities are really nice. However the steam room that is advertised was not available. The highlights were the restaurant, the shuttle service, and the Alaska Car Rental which is on the property. If I had to do it again, I would book the cheapest room and just enjoy the facilities that the hotel offers.
Old hotel needs remodeling but works Good breakfast included in rate Rude staff at front desk no cleaning in rooms everyone is rude
Pike’s is what modern day immersive experiences seek to emulate. It’s a large complex with many areas and buildings to explore such as a library, theatre, aurora exhibit and so on. Every nook and cranny has unique Alaskan paraphernalia. There is an on-site car rental and the hotel is a five minute free shuttle ride from the airport. Extremely convenient. The restaurant is also pretty decent. I enjoyed staying here. To see the Aurora it’s best to get out of town because there’s a lot of light pollution, so either pair this with another stay further out, using Pike’s just as a landing spot for your first night or two, or be sure to go on an Aurora tour at night. Large tour groups use this as a base but our rooms were extremely quiet. I believe the hotel is extremely well built to insulate during the harsh winters and the sound proofing hence is also good. I would suggest the lodge put up explicit signs stating the sledding hill and river walk close after March 31st, as we would have done those activities earlier in our stay had we known.
Probably above average for Fairbanks but only average if compared to accommodations in the lower 48. The pillows were as lumpy as poorly mashed potatoes.
The property is great . Right on the river.
The bathroom fan was really loud and the tv remote didn’t work.
The area is amazing and very convenient! The rooms were very nice. The lounge areas are great and comfortable.
Breakfast is too crowded and time-consuming. If it ended at 11 instead of 10am, the crowd might be a nit more dispersed.
Stayed here based on searching online prior to the trip. The property is eclectic and there's a lot of variety. Seems to be the best rated place in town, and heard others mention it when we were outside of town. It was good home base from which to visit Fairbanks, Denali, and the hot springs. Breakfast was tasty and the room was clean. And they have an aurora wake up service to let you know when the sky was pretty.
I had booked a cabin, which was comfortable except for the very loud noise of the heater. On arrival i asked the reception if they knew of any activities i could book, they responded they don't do that. I asked if there was a tourist centre i could visit they responded they didn't know of one. Firstly they had a rack of brochures on the other side of the room which they didn't bother to point out to me. Secondly on their in room TV the channel was set to promotions of Fairbanks, one being a large cultural and information tourism centre.
We love this place! The good , The Bad and The Ugly The Good: This truly is the friendliest lodge in Fairbanks. The accommodations were great. Nice little rustic lodge! Great breakfast in the morning. I didn't feel I had to rush to get the food it was endless, as it should be. The coffee is to die for. The breakfast staff were attentive and had great customer service skills. Great location and great people. The Gift Shop has very reasonably prices I applaud the manager for providing good prices for customers over making more money I would like to give an honorable mention to Ursula, I spent forty one years in the military , managing people and projects. From my observation , she was a hands on manager in training her staff, teaching great attention to detail, ensuring that what was needed to be done was done quickly, quietly and accurately. I applaud her efforts. Also Dawn, Lisa, Robert, Zion, and Corey went above and beyond, they were Friendly professional and have excellent customer service abilities.recommend bonuses for all! The bad: I totally agree with the 4 day room service bed changing and cleaning, no problems. They are good for the environment, good for the owners! Good for the workers! However , on the on the 4th day that bedding was changed. They did not clean the sink or the tub On one of the days they picked up the trash but failed to install a clean bag. If this is company policy, it probably needs to be changed. But more likely it's lack of attention to detail. The Ugly: I was up at 2:30 one morning and Kat and Cherry were at the counter for service. This was my first and only encounter with those two. I approached them three different times and each time they seemed annoyed, dismissive, and didn't answer my questions until I drew it out of them. In particular concerning the bus schedule. And this morning , Katrina was sitting at the desk , a few feet away from me. I called out to Katrina trying to get service to buy some souvenirs. She appeared to be ignoring me. She didnt even look up. I wound up going out to the service desk and ask Lisa was working at the other end of counter and when she realized that I wasn't getting help she rushed over to help me. Giving a Great example to Katrina what she should do for customer service. I am not trying to get anyone fired but I hope this is going to be used as a teaching tool to lite the fires under the people that need it!
The artwork and lobby layout are stunning. The chairs are very comfortable. The large common areas were wonderful. You need to get out of Fairbanks to have a chance to see auroras. The WIFI in room 350 just did not work. The front desk was rude and unhelpful when we tried to get it fixed. The breakfasts were just adequate - no bread/toast/pastries; English muffin heater did not work well; oatmeal was very good
Everything. Location staff breakfast the views the attractions. Pikes a great place
