Lieu magnifique, très ressourçant. Idéal pour une déconnexion en pleine Toscane. Parking appréciable quand on a une voiture. Chambre simple mais avec le nécessaire et au calme. Côté restauration, le dîner était excellent de même que le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet. Personnel accueillant.

Prachtig klooster en mooi gelegen nabij Siena en andere steden en dorpen. Prachtig uitzicht vanuit klooster en tuin. Mooie kapel bij het klooster. Ook heerlijk gegeten in de mooie kloostertuin. In de ochtend een ontbijt op het balkon met mooi uitzicht. Parkeren ook geen probleem.

Geen koffie en thee faciliteiten , maar verder mooi verblijf.

Beautiful historic location with so much to explore in the property. The restaurant was excellent, the staff and information were so helpful. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Nothing, it was exactly what we expected from a historic monastery turned into a hotel.

během našeho pobytu nebyl proveden úklid. Pravděpodobně došlo k nepochopení - požadovali jsme vynechání úklidu následující den po příjezdu, místo toho byl úklid zrušen na všech 5 dní našeho pobytu.

Camere accoglienti,pulizia impeccabile e grande attenzione al'ospitalità. Tutto curato nei minimi dettagli ed il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile. Un luogo speciale dove ci si sente subito a casa. Consigliatissimo,torneremo sicuramente!:)

Traumhaft schönes Hotel in ehemaliger Klosteranlage mit wunderschönem Garten. Das sehr gute Frühstück wird auf der Terrasse mit Blick in den italienischen Garten serviert.

Mooi gerestaureerd klooster met mooie binnentuinen,bijzondere authentieke sfeer.Goed restaurant voor diner,uitgebreid ontbijten,bar aanwezig. Zeer hygiënische sanitair, overal in gebouw toiletten. Ruime kamer,goede bedden en hoofdkussens. Behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. Algehele indruk fantastisch.

We were truly fascinated by the medieval architecture. Our room faced west, and we were lucky enough to catch a breathtaking sunset over the Tuscan landscape. It became one of the most unforgettable moments of our trip.

Location incantevole, pulizia e servizio

The location is as spectacular as the certosa. Easily one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. Service at the bar and restaurants is excellent and the prices fair. Breakfast is exceptionally generous and varied by Italian standards, and enjoying it on a terrace overlooking Siena is simply the perfect way to start the day.

There’s no air conditioning due to architectural constraints, only fans. That said, the fans worked well, and we were able to sleep comfortably.

Chambre très mal isolée, très classique par rapport au lieu. Restaurant qui n'est pas au standing de l'hôtel : nous avons commandé 1 plat chacun, celui de mon conjoint est arrivé 20 minutes après.... (Plus que très limite)

Bit tricky to get luggage to some rooms, the shower was tiny but a walk in These were minor inconveniences compared to the overall size of the space & large comfortable bed

La location quasi da sogno dentro una certosa, circondati dal verde. Colazione buonissima e abbondante. Giardino privato e tutto chiuso, comodo per bambini e cane. Abbondanza di asciugamani e saponi (profumatissimi).

Suggerirei di fornire meglio la cucina di utensili e stoviglie. Manca anche solo un rotolo di carta asciuga tutto. Per cucinare manca qualsiasi cosa (che non è obbligo mettere ma sicuramente è una cortesia importante per chi viaggia) tipo un filo di olio o sale. Struttura forse da riammodernare ( intonaco staccato, termoarredi scrostati..) Diciamo che nel complesso la bellezza del posto fa passare in secondo piano queste piccoli difetti.

insolemment phonique de la chambre nul: on entend tout ce qui se passe dans la chambre voisine, jusqu’aux clic sur le téléphone ! et la réception ne semble pas être vraiment surprise de ce fait. L’hôtel est pourtant assez grand et suffisamment peu occupé pour ne pas loger les hôtes dans des chambres voisines si mal insonorisées …

Le lieu est vraiment magnifique. Et d'un calme incroyable. C'est tellement grand qu'on rencontre peu de monde en dehors du petit-déjeuner. On pourrait croire qu'on est entré dans les ordres !

Une piscine en plus serait un atout formidable après les heures chaudes de la journée. Il n'y a pas de salon climatisé où s'installer, pour lire ou converser, quand il fait 35° dehors. Ni un fauteuil confortable dans la chambre. C'est un peu trop monacal quand même ! Le restaurant se veut gastronomique, mais nous aurions préféré un restaurant plus traditionnel avec un choix plus large, où nous installer tous les soirs au retour de nos journées de visite. Nous y sommes allés 2 fois sur 9 jours. Mais nous y serions allés au moins un soir sur 2, si la carte avait été moins limitée.

Good environment

No luggage or leading service when entering the room, I walked around the whole place to find my room with my luggage on the cobbled road. When I’m pouring the milk during breakfast, the bottle cap didn’t tight and it poured on my clothes. I asked the staff who besides me to give me a napkin, she just ignored me and said I have to find a napkin by myself. She passed by and cleaned the milk for the first place instead of helping me…. After she even whisper with another staff about me. Feel regret for this condition.

Not a gripe but there was no AC in the apartment (not permitted for conservation reasons) - just for awareness in case of a heatwave. We were fine keeping all the windows open though.

Quel bel endroit ! Nous avons grandement apprécié le lieu très au calme, la beauté architecturale de l'ensemble, l'emplacement qui permet de visiter Sienne et les environs ainsi que la gentillesse et le professionnalisme du personnel. Notre chambre était vraiment très spacieuse avec en plus un salon et une très grande salle de bain. Nous avons également beaucoup aimé la cuisine du restaurant de l'hôtel qui propose des mets raffinés. Très grand parking bien appréciable ainsi qu'un bouquet de fleurs naturelles dans notre chambre ! Je recommande sans hésiter ce bijoux hors du temps.

To już mój kolejny pobyt w tym obiekcie i muszę przyznać, że każdorazowo robi on fantastyczne wrażenie! Jest to miejsce, gdzie każdy powinien przyjechać i poczuć tę magiczną aurę - zarówno w dzień i w nocy - bo wtedy to samo miejsce odbiera się zupełnie inaczej. Do tego śniadania przewspaniałe i przeobfite. Każdy na pewno znajdzie jakieś smakołyki, które mu przypadną do gustu. Polecam!

Beautiful hilltop setting with wonderful views just outside of Siena, the Certosa is surrounded by vineyards which you can walk through and also visit the winery to taste wine and oil. The buildings are steeped in history and the gardens are lovely. Every member of staff was helpful and friendly, thank you especially to the reception staff who helped us organise local visits. The location is superb for exploring the Chianti region, easy to access but totally private and peaceful.

As a historic property that is run by the University of Siena for conferences, some areas are slightly run down which is inevitable for such a huge site. Our room was clean and functional, but I would book a more historic room next time.

The best thing, they ended moving our original reservation from a cellar with no air conditioning to regular rooms with air conditioning. Garden is beautiful and well manteined. The other good point was breakfast, delicious and with a great variety of options.

The cellar. It is scary and not properly equipped. Cellars are not comfortable, with dangerous steps to use the bathroom night and very hot for trying to sleep with 38 degrees in the summer and just a little fan to refresh yourself. Other families arriving at the same time also asked for room change, for the same reasons. Attitude of the breakfast staff was not the best.

The Hotel is a Castle and Castle is a Hotel. This is just like in a fairytale. Beautiful nature around and inside hotel, staff is extremely kind, they have alot of patience for new guest with i guess everyday question for them. Air Condition is great so dont worry about that. We got one of the smaller rooms but its perfect as it is, honestly except sleeping we didnt spend much time inside.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Certosa di Pontignano Residenza d’Epoca insgesamt sehr genossen. Die ehemalige Klosteranlage ist etwas ganz Besonderes. Der Außenbereich ist traumhaft angelegt – wunderschöne Gärten, ruhige Innenhöfe und überall gibt es neue, liebevoll erhaltene Details zu entdecken. Man kann die gesamte Anlage in Ruhe erkunden und auch viele der historischen Räume besichtigen. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die wunderschöne, hervorragend erhaltene Kapelle mit ihren atemberaubenden Wandmalereien. Der Check-in verlief problemlos. Obwohl wir etwa vier Stunden vor der offiziellen Check-in-Zeit ankamen, konnten wir unser Gepäck abstellen und nach einer kurzen Wartezeit von etwa einer Stunde unser Zimmer beziehen. Die Zeit ließ sich hervorragend nutzen, um die außergewöhnliche Anlage zu erkunden. Ein echtes Highlight war das Abendessen im Restaurant. Wir haben uns für ein Gängemenü mit Weinbegleitung entschieden und waren begeistert. Die einzelnen Gänge waren hervorragend aufeinander abgestimmt und die dazu gereichten Weine passten ausgezeichnet zu den Speisen. Die Weinbegleitung war geschmacklich sehr gelungen und hat das Menü perfekt ergänzt. Auch das Personal war jederzeit freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Leider konnte uns das Frühstück nicht überzeugen. Der Speck war sehr fettig und zudem nicht ausreichend durchgebraten. Insgesamt hätten wir uns hier etwas mehr Qualität gewünscht. Unser Zimmer war ausreichend groß und mit genügend Handtüchern ausgestattet, was sehr positiv war. Allerdings wirkte es insgesamt deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Mehrere Fliesen sowie der Spiegel waren an den Kanten abgeplatzt. Man konnte außerdem erkennen, dass die Wände gestrichen wurden, ohne die Fußleisten vorher zu entfernen, was einen wenig sorgfältigen Eindruck hinterließ. Die Matratze war außergewöhnlich hart – härter als jede andere, auf der wir bisher geschlafen haben.

Auch technisch gab es einige Mängel: Der Kühlschrank funktionierte nicht und mehrere Steckdosen waren ohne Strom. Die größte Enttäuschung war jedoch das Badezimmer. Die Dusche ist sehr klein und die Türen lassen sich nur begrenzt öffnen, sodass das Betreten für etwas kräftigere Personen schwierig oder sogar kaum möglich sein kann. Zudem waren an den Silikonfugen deutliche Schimmelspuren zu erkennen. Uns ist bewusst, dass es verschiedene Zimmerkategorien gibt und hochwertigere Zimmer angeboten werden. Trotzdem würden wir erwarten, dass grundlegende Standards – insbesondere bei der Funktionalität der Ausstattung, dem Zustand des Zimmers und der Sauberkeit des Badezimmers – in allen Zimmern erfüllt werden.

Gostei da vista do local, dos jardins, do ambiente peculiar e da experiência de estar em um mosteiro tão antigo. O café da manhã é excelente, a qualidade dos sabonetes e produtos de higiene oferecidos e conforto da cama.

O quarto e banheiro eram menores do que eu imaginava, apertados, sem refrigerador.

Certosa spettacolare, ambiente veramente da sogno (molto consigliata anche la visita guidata organizzata). Camere pulite e con tutto il necessario. Bagno moderno. Bar affacciato sul bellissimo giardino all'italiana, e con personale competente e molto educato. Ottimo il ristorante Considerata la location, veramente ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Heel mooie locatie, waar veel te ontdekken viel, zoals de mooie kerk in het gebouw. Je wordt ondergedompeld in de geschiedenis. Heel lekker diner in het restaurant ter plaatse Uitgebreid, lekker ontbijt op het terras. Het leuke is ook dat er steeds studenten rondlopen aangezien dit een gebouw van de universiteit is. Ruime parkeergelegenheid voor het gebouw.

1 badkamer voor 6 personen in het appartement is toch wel wat weinig, Een 2de douche zou handig geweest zijn.

La climatisation qui coulait sur ma tête, j’ai du l’arrêter pour pouvoir dormir au sec . L’endroit est calme, par contre l’isolation est inexistante, on entend tous les bruits des chambres voisines ainsi que du corridor

Το μέρος ήταν συναρπαστικό, μια όαση στην μέση της Τοσκάνης. Ήταν πολύ ιδιαίτερο το γεγονός ότι μείναμε σε ένα μοναστήρι του 13ου αιώνα. Το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό, το πρωινό πολύ καλό και πλούσιο και το δωμάτιο καθαρό και ευρύχωρο.

Location molto suggestiva ed in posizione bellissima. Ristorante e colazione di alto livello e qualità. Camere invece non all'altezza della cifra richiesta: seppur dotate di un "fascino" legato alle origini dell'edificio, la qualità degli arredi, dei bagni e delle attrezzature è decisamente sottotono, rendendo l'esperienza solamente sufficiente.

We came here after two nights elsewhere in Tuscany, and the place earns its reputation - a former monastery you're free to wander, with a few separate gardens that each have their own feel. We spent a while just walking them, stopping to take photos, finding corners we hadn't seen the first time around. Breakfast was good, and we headed out afterward for a morning walk in the fields nearby. The staff struck the balance you want - warm without hovering, and quick when we needed something. Two nights in, it was the kind of stop that made us slow down.

The room was the smallest we had on the whole trip! cramped enough that you notice it. And we'd pictured somewhere more romantic than it turned out to be; there was a group of academics staying at the same time, and the couples' feel we were after wasn't really there.

struttura bellissima, ottimo ristorante, parcheggio ampio e posizione vicino siena comodissima. Essendo sulla collina abbiamo sempre trovato fresco anche d'estate. Anche questa volta siamo venuti con il gatto anche loro come i cani ben accetti, non richiedono sovrapprezzi, e non hanno problemi a non eseguire le pulizie se glielo chiedi per la sicurezza dell'animale. una vera struttura pet-friendly!

La camera assegnata, soprattutto nel bagno, necessita di un po' di rinnovamento. Al contrario delle altre stanze prese le volte precedenti in questa il wifi era un po' ballerino ma comunque utilizzabile.

Acomodação fantástica, dentro de um antigo convento, um charme total! Quarto muito bom, limpo e com instalações perfeitas. Café da manhã excepcional, muito variado e completo com produtos locais e orgânicos produzidos na região. O hotel possui um restaurante excelente, jantamos lá mesmo e foi incrível. Sem dúvida, um ponto alto do hotel é o seu jardim, com muitas flores, árvores e um túnel de videiras que vale a pena um sessão de fotos!

Es un monasterio precioso, con un muy buen equilibrio entre la conservación y la renovación para el confort actual. Los jardines son hermosos. Se puede visitar todo y cada sala es una nueva y bella sorpresa. Muy buen desayuno.

Se escucha la habitación de al lado, y nos tocaron vecinos muy ruidosos que no nos dejaron dormir hasta muy tarde (pero la noche de unos más cuidadosos también se escuchaba todo).

Los jardines del convento y rincones increíbles como la capilla. Las vistas desde el desayuno. El restaurante ofrece buenos platos.

El personal no parecía muy amable, ni el de recepción ni el del desayuno, solamente el muchacho de housekeeping de nuestro módulo 4 fue amable. No nos ofrecieron personal que ayudara con el equipaje para atravesar todo el convento con piso empedrado y subir 2 escaleras. Le falta una piscina.

Die Lage des Klosters war einmalig schön. Von der Morgen terasse konnte man die Silhouette von Siena sehen. Der Klostergarten war liebevoll angelegt und die alten Gemäuer schon sehr beeindruckend.

Die Zimmer waren sehr schlicht eingerichtet, das Badezimmer hat einen Renovierungstau, die Matratzen waren fürchterlich. wir wohnten im ersten Haus, dort war es von den Lampen im Garten, sehr hell und durch den Parkplatz sehr laut. Alle Gäste, die vom Restaurant kamen oder gingen, kamen hier vorbei.

E' una struttura incantevole, sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo ed è molto piacevole trascorrere del tempo lì, soprattutto con i bambini che si divertono tantissimo a correre tra quei meravigliosi giardini. Il nostro soggiorno è andato oltre le mie aspettative, ci siamo trovati benissimo, anche perchè in quei giorni era in corso una festa per bambini proprio all'interno della Certosa: "La Certosa dei Balocchi", con giocolieri, burattinai, clown e tanto altro. I nostri bimbi si sono divertiti da morire. La colazione ottima, si consuma sul terrazzo che affaccia sul giardino all'italiana ed ha una vista sulle campagne toscane veramente fantastica. Le camere grandi, eleganti e con tutti i comfort, letto enorme comodissimo. In conclusione, non sono mai stata tanto bene in un Hotel come in questa stupenda Certosa. STRA-CONSIGLIO A TUTTI!!!!!!!

La Certosa, i giardini, la visita guidata, la posizione

Il bagno un po vecchio, essere stata informata solo pochi giorni prima e quando non più rimborsabile di una mostra nella Certosa,la colazione perche quando finivano ad esempio le torte non venivano più riportate e l’orario della colazione non era finito, non aver preparato più cose per colazione quando si sono fermati a dormire molti della mostra

Wunderschönes Anwesen in ruhiger Lage; die Betten und Kissen waren sehr bequem und wir haben vor allem das Ambiente und die Gartenanlage des Anwesens sehr genossen. Auch das leckere Frühstück in toller Location und mit üppiger und vielfältiger Auswahl war wunderbar. Leider waren wir nur für einen Zwischenstopp da, hier liesse es sich definitiv länger verweilen!

Das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig, so dass man Schritte vom Flur wie auch Gespräche aus dem Nachbarzimmer hören konnte. Es war aber während unseres Aufenthaltes auch eine Veranstaltung, wodurch vielleicht etwas mehr "Betrieb" als üblich in den Fluren herrschte.

Objekat je predivan, potpuno podsjeca na dvorac iz filmova. Uredan, čist, ljubazno osoblje, jedino sto su sobe jako male, ali svakako ostatak prostora nadoknadjuje taj detalj. U sklopu objekta se nalazi i restoran za veceru sa jako ukusnom hranom i ljubaznim osobljem. Vrijednost za novac 10/10.

Krevet je bio jako neudoban, ostalo sve je za pohvalu.
